A/N: Hey ya'll! It's Kuro-kun here like usual. Hehes, it's usually no one else aside from us. Hopefully ya'll are excited for updates of my other stories. I know I sure am with writing them. In the meantime I decided to begin on this. It's something I'm taking a chance on because I haven't done this type of story before. Hopefully ya'll will turn out to love it.

Chapter 1: Fracture
Naruto
We used to be so happy together Sasuke and I. Yet, he decided to detach himself from me. Why did he bail when I told him I'm pregnant with his child? Did he not care for me and them? Did he not want to deal with the burden while he still hunts for Itachi? It's left me fractured inside knowing that he's pushed me away. It had been a long time ago this happened. Well, it was more like a few months ago, but it feels longer now that everything's said and done. Hearing a knock at the door startled me. After being dumped by that stupid Uchiha I had packed up my stuff to move back into my old apartment. There were already appointments lined up with Sakura. Fortunately, I still have my friends on my side. She's been wronged by him too so she understands. Anyways, enough of my inner monologue.
"Who could be at the door?" I murmured to myself, wiping a fresh set of tears from my eyes since the tragic events with Sasuke still felt like fresh open wounds still scabbing over.
Moving to where the front door is I opened it without seeing who it could be, "Hey, Naruto. I came by to check on you."
"Kakashi-sensei?" I asked in surprise, standing there with the door wide open as I gawked before closing my mouth to usher him inside to then close it behind him once he's in my home. "it's nice of you to come by. I'm doing as well as I can."
"I'm here if you need someone," offered the silver haired man, knowing there's not that much of an age barrier between us since he's in his mid to late twenties while I'm in my early twenties at this point.
"Thanks," I gave him a watery smile. "Can I get you anything?"
"Some coffee would be nice," replied kakashi, giving a sweep of what my living arrangement looks like before taking a seat on my couch in my makeshift living room.
"Ok," I went to the kitchenette to make some. "What do you like in it?"
"Nothing except a pinch of salt," replied my former sensei, nodding while I finished it up before walking back inside with a tray of two cups along with some food for us.
"Um, I can't stay too long. I have to go for a check up in an hour or so," I told him sheepishly as I set the tray down on the coffee table in front of the couch before settling down in a chair not too far away from where Kakashi sits.
"I could take you there if you want some company," suggested Kakashi while sipping his piping hot cup of jo.
"Uh, sure," I blushed, wondering if he knew how I felt about him since we are best friends and all as well as fought alongside each other. "That would be nice."
Does he know how I feel about him? From the looks of it seems like he doesn't yet. Maybe he suspects it. Having him go with me does help. Normally, I go there by myself. So far Sasuke hasn't bothered coming back here to get me back. If he ever did I wouldn't accept him back into my life. Once someone leaves it's best to keep them out. Besides, that chapter of my life is done and over with. There's no point in reliving it or anything like that. He's not worth anymore of my time. Hopefully he knows that. If he doesn't then I wonder how an Uchiha can truly get over someone that I let loose due to his idiotic mistakes that led up to our breakup. I mean he's the one that bailed out on me, but it had been a long time coming for me to break it off too. So, in a way this had been mutual. Knowing he didn't want to be around to be the father to our children had discouraged me. Maybe with Kakashi there could be a spark of hope. We hung out for a while chatting before it's time to head to the hospital. Walking alongside me, he carefully grabbed one of my hands in his. Blushing lightly, I didn't mind it. The way his palm felt against my own calmed me. When we reached the hospital we waited until Sakura's ready. Lying down on the examination table I saw the all too familiar glow of her chakra in her hands as she began the scan.
"How are things?" Asked the rosette haired woman, being gentle although thorough with her tests on me.
"I'm getting by ok," I gave her a slight smile. "Things could be better, but you know how it is."
"Yeah," she gave a faint smile in return before finishing up her tests. "Right now it looks like they're developing well. Although I did see something out of the ordinary."
"There's more than one?" I gulped.
"Yep," replied Sakura gently, placing a hand on my shoulder to reassure everything would be fine. "Do you think that Kurama would affect any children you have?"
Searching my mind for a moment before I responded I told her, "Yeah, it's normal to happen. They were sealed inside of me at birth. From what they told me it's to be expected that some of their chakra and abilities or whatever should carry over to offspring."
"Gotcha," nodded Sakura, taking notes. "Even though you're only halfway there you're doing so well. I'm just sorry you have to do this alone."
"I know," I forced a smile before getting up. "Thanks, Sakura-chan. I'll see you when it's time."
"Indeed," agreed Sakura, watching me leave with Kakashi reluctantly standing in the doorway although I didn't go too far while I waited for him to come with me. "You better help him, Kakashi-sensei."
"I will," promised the the copycat nin before heading off after me. "Where to now?"
"I'm not sure," I admitted, knowing I had everything that I'd need although I would need to get more since I hadn't expected to be having more than one kid. "I'll need to get more baby clothes and stuff. Nothing prepared me for this."
"It's ok. I'll be by your side through this, Naruto. I won't let you be alone during this time of your life."
A/N: Yays! Done with chappie one! Aws, this is going to be such an angst filled story with some adorableness involved. I do plan on showing what happens with Sasuke in the midst of Naruto's journey through life. Let's just hope things go well for everyone in this. Like I said at the beginning this is a story I'm taking a chance with because I've never done anything like this before. Hopefully ya'll enjoyed what happened this time.
