A/N: Hey y'all! Welcome back for the next chappie of Scared To Be Alone. Hmm, so this time, I'll see about involving more povs. Why? Because I can and it's fun. Hehes

Chapter 8: Fissure
Naruto
Some time has passed to where Obito and Kushina are now three years old. It's been an interesting time seeing them grow up. Right now, Kakashi and I sit outside watching the two play in the grass. We had married the prior year. It just made sense considering with how our bond is so strong. Besides, we love each other so much and he's been a big help with taking care of the kids. Pakkun stays around a lot too. He stays with Obito and Kushina as a type of guard dog though also as a companion to them.
"Daddy, look!" Obito ran up to me, holding a grasshopper in his hands, showing it to me and Kakashi.
"Aw, you caught a hopper," I smiled softly, seeing the bug chirp before hopping out of Obito's hands.
"Yep," grinned the raven haired boy, going to go back to sit and play with the grass beside his sister.
Pakkun sat nearby to them, keeping watch. It's just a precaution with knowing how some people can be; especially when they find out that they're my children. Very few people are kind to a jinchurriki. The Akatsuki and Kakashi are some of the few that accept those who are different like myself. Glancing behind me I saw Deidara walk out to come join us. Seeing the two kids playing in the grass made his lips twitch slightly into a soft smile.
"Hey, how's it going, un?" Asked Deidara, sitting a fair distance away from where Kakashi and I are, noticing he's joined by his own partner, Sasori.
"Good," I grinned, glad to see him out of the base for once. "It's good to see Sasori let you out of the room."
"Oh hush, hmph," scowled Deidara.
"Hehe, nope," I laughed a bit, noticing he's pouting now.
Sasori rolled his eyes, unable to help it to give a small smirk at our antics. The two had finally admitted their feelings, glad to see them at a semblance of happiness even though they still have some bumps in the road. The good thing is I haven't had to encounter the ghosts from my past. If I ever do again then I'll be prepared for it. Continuing to idly watch the kids I hope that they'll grow up to become good people along with strong shinobi and kunoichi. Feeling Kakashi wrap one of his arms around me I'm pulled up against his side. Leaning against him I feel content with him.
"Is something wrong?" Kakashi asked me cautiously.
"No, just worried," I admitted, seeing him nod in understanding.
"They'll be ok," promised my husband, knowing he's probably right although I can't help to still worry a bit.
"Mmm, I hope so."
Relax, kit. They'll be perfectly alright. Though you have noticed that part of me has been given to them. When they are around seven or eight then signs will show. Be prepared for whatever may come your way.

Madara
Looking at papers I can tell there are a few things bogging down in my mind. One of them is that I need to speak to Sasuke at some point. For what reason could that be? Nothing bad of course. It's what happens to those remaining Uchiha. It's just to see how things are going. From the intel I have gathered he belongs to Orochimaru apparently. Do I hate him for the choices he's made? No, I don't. Everyone makes mistakes in their lives. Sasuke is no different compared to everyone else. Besides, he's happy which is all that matters. Itachi might hate him for now although I know it'll fade in due course. He can be an ice cube sometimes. It can hinder his judgment so I hope he's careful with what he decides on.
"What's wrong?" Asked my partner, Nagato, noticing I seemed lost in thought.
"I need to go speak to Sasuke in a few days time," I told him, sighing in resignation, knowing this talk wouldn't be an easy one considering how the younger Uchiha can be, though knowing my husband will understand my uncertainties. "You know how he is."
"Indeed," confirmed the leader of Amegakure, knowing that this has been on my mind for a while now. "Itachi will let Sasuke back in eventually."
"Perhaps," I frowned, not sure about it. "You do know that both are attempting to revive the clan, correct?"
"Yes, I know," replied Nagato, figuring as much. "So are you."
"Yes, but this isn't about me, love," I smirked, amused about how he knows that we have been trying for some time, only recently having succeeded for Nagato to carry them to term.
"Whatever," Nagato rolled his eyes, hiding a small smile while returning to handle some paperwork, feeling as if it seemed to be endless sometimes.
Folding my hands to rest my chin upon them, I thought about what will come next. The talk with Sasuke should be fine. Though wil he be nervous for what we need to discuss? Most likely he will considering I am his Elder after all. So, it's understandable if he's nervous about the whole ordeal. Then there's taking care of the village to consider. Although that's more Nagato's and Pain's thing to take care of. The two brothers run it splendidly from what I have seen thus far. Yet, even with moving forward the echos of the past still linger to haunt us.
Are we truly ready for the future about to commence for all of us? Or are we moving too fast? No, the pacing doesn't matter. What does is ensuring that we can bring forth the next generation to this world where we have achieved true peace. Before we can even reach that point we must encounter a great suffering.
A/N: Yays! Done with chappie eight! I hope y'all enjoyed it. Hehes, the angst is definitely picking up a bit which is pleasing to see occurring. I hope y'all enjoy the pacing of this. I try to keep it steady where it's not too slow or fast. If there's anything y'all want me to include then please let me know.
The next chappie will be out shortly whenever I have it finished being written up. That may be later on today or sometime during the week. It just depends. Until then please remember to review loves!
