A/N: Hey ya'll! It's Kuro-chan here with the next chappie of the Golden Shadow! Hehes, so the plan for this now on is I'm going to try to touch base on each side of the story in each chappie. Hopefully that'll cause the chappies to be longer, but this also means it'll take more time for me to write the chappies. I think ya'll would enjoy seeing what happens to the other characters because I do have other pairings I'm doing in this lovely piece of epicness of mine. I hope ya'll enjoy what happens in this chappie. Please R&R!
Chapter 6
Ino had seen Naruto being dragged off by the prince. She hoped he would be alright on his own. Knowing how the youngest prince acted, her worry didn't cease. She would have to trust Naruto as well. She knew Kushina's and Minato's blood runs through him. She doubted he would submit easily to the ravenette. Shaking her head, she tried to dispel herself of any thoughts that would distract her from her duty. Yet she couldn't help seeing the image of the rosette haired woman in her mind. She desperately wanted her to become her mate. She's never felt this urge before. It's one she can't ignore no matter how hard she tried. Sighing in disappointment, she knew another chance wouldn't come into her reach until her shift finished. She hoped that wouldn't be too long from now even though it ha only been a few hours after Gaara had left. She wondered what he was up to. She knew he wanted the brunette, but she's pretty sure another redhead has his sight set on Gaara since he can't have the long haired blonde merman. At least there's never a dull moment in Tsunagakure.
Boredom struck her during her shift, wondering when it would be completed. She understood why the king and queen wanted a guard to stand post outside of the throne room. She just wished others would do it as well aside from her and Gaara. She waited around a couple more hours until she was allowed to clock out for now until she woul be required to stand guard once again. Grateful, she swam out of the castle in a hurry. She knew showing eagerness for where she'd be going was risky, but she enjoyed feeling the adrenaline coursing through her veins at the thought of being found out. She did have an obligation to bring back the brunette for Gaara. Frowning, she didn't know if she'd be able to accomplish that particular goal. Her main concern would be seeing the jade eyed woman again. She knew it would be dangerous to reveal herself, but she desired to meet her.
When Ino reached the surface she noticed the ship had anchored itself not too far north of the outskirts of the gates. She couldn't help feeling a surge of apprehension course through her. She was far out enough she wouldn't be caught. The feeling remained, knowing she might be found out any day now. She hoped they wouldn't banish her if they did. She poked her head out from under, glancing up to see the rosette leaning against the railing of the ship. She wasn't on duty at the moment. Those jade orbs were obscured with sorrow, worry, and concern. Based on the captain's orders they would stay there until they found Naruto. She was glad Kiba managed to persuade Kakashi. She knew the brunette and the blonde were good friends. She hoped they would be abel to find him. Her mind lingered on the thought of Naruto somehow drowning. She hoped to whatever gods out there it wasn't the case. She didn't know what she or the other crew members would react if that were the result of their missing friend. A loud splash broke Sakura out of her thoughts. She glanced over to where the sound seemed to have come from. Eliciting a soft gasp, she stared in awe of a mermaid giving her a sultry look. It caused her to blush a shade darker than her hair.
"Who are you?" she asked, unable to break her stare from the feminine creature.
"My name is Ino Yamanaka," introduced the bleach blonde haired woman, pleased by the reaction she caused in the one she desired to become her mate. "Don't worry, Naruto didn't drown. He's safe."
"Wait, how do you know him?" inquired Sakura cautiously, narrowing her eyes slightly at the other woman. "How do I know you're not lying to me?"
"I met him a few days ago," shrugged Ino. "Why would I lie about the son of a close friend? If you want to find him that may prove difficult. You're a human, right? I kind of doubt you could plunge under the epths without drowning."
Sakura frowned, uncertain about this although when she weighed her options there didn't seem to be any other way to find Naruto to make sure he's alright, "Fine, I'll go with you. I think we have some scuba gear in our equipment."
"I'll wait here for you when you're ready," assured Ino, diving under the water, giving Sakura a qink before she departed to await her arrival beneath the waves.
Once she gathered the materials she needed, she put on the gear. She had informed Neji of where she'd be in case anything happened. She didn't entirely trust Ino. Her words seemed geninue, but Sakura knew actions spoke louder than words sometimes. She doubted Ino wanted to lead her astray. When she descended into the depths after ensuring she wouldn't drown by using the equipment she borrowed, the mermaid was waiting for her. She grabbed Sakura's hand, causing the human to blush slightly. Ino smirked at seeing th heat rush to her face. She tugged her along, thinking she'd ask Anko about an easier way to have humans underwater than using their hefty mechanisms.
"I promise you'll see him again. Ust be careful when entering Tsunagakure, ok? Most people aren't accepting of humans."

Speaing of Naruto, he wasn't sure if he liked the situation he's currently in with the obsidian haired male. He had agreed to do things Sasuke's way. At least if things didn't go well the prince woul give Naruto's method a chance. When he had agreed to Sasuke's deal he pounced on top of him, pinning him down on the bed. He kissed the blonde heatedly, his hands running through his hair. Naruto had gasped slightly at the sudden lip lock, giving Sasuek the opportunity to slip his tongue inside the moist cavern of Naruto's mouth. It caued a small moan to release from the human's throat. When Sasuke allowed him to breathe Naruto panted, trying to regain his breath.
"Sasuke," said Naruto, his voice quiet in shock of what just happened.
"You liked it," stated the prince, sounding a little smug about it.
"Yeah, so what?" asked Naruto, still blushing a furious shade of crimson. "Sasuke, look I don't want to rush into anything. I get it that you want to court me."
"I said we'll do it your way if my method doesn't work," hissed Sasuke, narrowing his eyes slightly.
"Yes, that's true, but-" Naruto was cut off by another harsh kiss from the ravette, his breath being taken away from the passion he received from the other merman.
When Sasuke pulled back, his onyx orbs darkened slightly, "Are you honestly able to back away from what I've offered you so far? Would you even be capable of denying more from me?"
Naruto thought it over for a few moments, trying to fight the haze forming in his mind, "N-No….I guess not."
Sasuke smirked, "Good. So, are you willing to continue or shoul I slow down?"
Sighing, Naruto couldn't believe he's about to say this as he replied, "Alright, go ahead. I have nothing left to lose."

In another chamber within the castle, Sasuke's older brother Itachi was hungrily kissing his own desired mate. Deidara was having trouble trying to fight between the urge to give in or sstruggle against him. The tan blonde underneath the ravenette couldn't deny Itachi is handsome. He remained irritated he couldn't have Sasori who had been the one he wanted to be mated with, but he guessed being with a prince could prove to be a better option. He wasn't going to admit it to him. When Itachi pulled back, he allowed Deidara to catch his breath. He had been brought here against his will of course. There are a few advantages to being an Uchiha which Itachi didn't like to use though he would if he deemed it necessary.
"What do you want from me?" he whispered, his voice dropped down an octave or two, sending shivers down the blonde's spine.
"None of your damn business," hissed Deidara, glaring daggers at him. "I didn't come here on my own free will, un. Do you honestly think I'll submit like some common whore?"
"Hn, we'll see,' was all Itachi responded with, a small smirk creasing his lips as he knew in due time he'll have the blonde begging for it.
"Nothing you do or say will change my opinion," huffed Deidara, crossing his arms over his chest, glaring daggers at the Uchiha.
Itachi shrugged, knowing the blonde woul be a handful. He wondered if his younger brother was dealing with a similar issue with his own courtship. He had been informed of who Sasuke had chosen. It amused him how he and Sasuke had a similar taste in blondes. He wondered if Sasuke needed a few pointers. His little brother knew a few things, but he supposed he would leave him be for now. He had his own chosen mate to deal with a the moment. Contemplating the best method to use, he decided it would take more than what he's done so far to break through Deidara's resolve.
"Are you certain about that?" asked Itachi, glancing up through his lashes, smirking at seeing the heat creep up into Deidara's face which turned it a dark shade of crimson.
"Y-Yes, un," spluttered Deidara, backing away a little as he didn't want Itachi to find out what he truly felt about him.
"Your blush says otherwise," chuckled Itachi, merely watching him casually.
"S-Shut up!" growled Deidara, keeping his distance from him.
"We'll see," murmured Itachi, knowing he'd need to rethink his strategy if he wanted to persuade Deidara to belong to him. "Let's make a deal, shall we?"
"What kind of deal, un?" asked Deidara, sparing him a wary glance.
"If I can't change your mind within a week I'll set you free, but if I manage to accomplish my goal within that time limit then you'll become my mate," explained Itachi. "Will you accept my terms?"
Weighing his options, Deidara guessed he could give Itachi a chance, nodding he responded, "Alright….I'll agree to your deal. Don't waste my time, ok?"
A/N: Yays! Done wih chappie six! Hehes, I'm glad I managed to finish three scenes this time. If there are any mistakes I'll go back and fix them at a later date in time. I hope everyone enjoyed this chappie. I'll try to have the next one out soonish. Until then please remember to review lovelies!
