A/N: Hey ya'll! Welcome back for the next chappie of the Golden Shadow. I thought it would be nice to write up another for this before going back to working on Nimbus or King's Mate.
Sekito: Sounds like a fabulous idea to me.

Kuro: Yeps, I sure do.
Rakknar: Good. Hopefully all of you readers enjoy what happens this time.

Chapter 11
On the ship, the others had unfortunately encountered another nasty storm. It caused them to shipwreck onto a different island than the one Neji is on. Getting their bearings, Kakashi managed to find Iruka and the last few remaining members of his crew. Once they reassembled they went out to explore the island they had shipwrecked on. They wouldn't be able to get their ship back to shape for a long while due to not having the proper supplies.
"What do you think lives here?" Asked Iruka, looking around while his few crew mates had joined Kakashi's group as well to form one crew instead of two.
Shrugging, Kakashi walked alongside him, "I don't know, but we'll find out together."
Traversing through the dense foliage they eventually stumble across a brood of nagas. The leader is an obsidian haired male with scales of ruby and onyx. Gazing at the newcomers suspiciously his forked tongue flicks out to gauge the humans. Deeming them not a threat to him or his family he gave a nod of approval.
"What do you want?" Demanded the leader of the group to know of the mortals.
"We're shipwrecked and don't know what's friendly or threatening in here," explained kakashi.
"Stay with us then," replied the serpent, slithering back into his den with the humans following suit.
"What's your name?" Asked Kakashi curiously, sharing a look with Iruka to say that they are in for more than they thought.
"Kuryai," answered the naga to him before rejoining where his mate would be waiting for his return.
"Ah, I see you brought some new additions," murmured a softer voice.
"Hmm, yes, I did," murmured Kuryai in response. "Hopefully you won't mind, Seishi."
"Of course not," said the bleach blonde strawberry haired male with scales in the hues of sapphire, emerald, and purple.
"Um, hi," greeted Iruka sheepishly.
"Welcome to the den. Heh, make yourselves at home. But don't go out at night unless you're prepared. Don't want any of you being hunted down by the flames."

Meanwhile, down below, Sasori is plotting when would be the right moment to strike. Hidan had been and still is relaying information he's gathered from the other kingdom. At the moment it's nearing the time where the prince's mates would bring in the next of kin. When that occurs will be when Sasori and a few others will act.
"Hmmm, I'm not a huge fan of waiting," grumbled the redhead.
"I know, but soon we can bring some carnage to these depths," smirked Hidan as his king murmured in agreement. "Then we'll have some fun."
"Oh yes," smirked Sasori. "You do know who they have, correct?"
"You mean Deidara?" Asked Hidan in confusion.
"Aside from the brat," hissed Sasori. "They have the son of the exiled ones. It's doubtful they even know."
"Oh ho," chuckled Hidan with a sinister gleam in his eyes. "That is interesting….. What do you plan to do about it?"
"We'll make a grand entrance of course and ruin their day of rejoicing to show we won't be ignored."

Within the kingdom of the non-killer merfolk is where the two princes are going about their daily duties. There's also ensuring their mates are alright along with making sure they have everything they need including to make sure they're fed. They had been given less duties because of the time approaching. It's bringing quite a bit of excitement to inside and out of the palace. What does worry the royals is knowing that the other kingdom might plot against them to eventually get the drop on them. Yes, they do have forces and traps set in place if that occurs. So, they aren't unprepared.
"How are you doing today?" Asked Sasuke when he finished and went to go be with Naruto.
"Alright I guess," shrugged the blonde. "I can't help feeling something bad is going to happen."
"There are things set in place if anyone attacks," reassured Sasuke before going behind him to wrap his arms around him to hold him close.
"Ok," nodded Naruto, knowing he would have to trust that they would be prepared for whatever may come their way.
Things will be heading for treacherous areas for all of them. Yet, will they be able to survive when their enemies arrive?
A/N: Yays! Done with chappie eleven! I'm sorry if it was short, but you know with me quality comes before quantity. Hopefully you all enjoyed what happened this time.
