ooo and the plot thickens!

What? End? That's not suppose to happen. You're supposed to keep writing until your fingers fall off.

I just spent the last 3 hours reading up to the current chapter. I am utterly enthralled with this fiction. I first of all would like to commend you on your ability to ignore the ever present infection that seems to take over most fictions. This is the otherwise known as "wam bam thank you ma'ams". In other words thank you for pacing yourself when it comes to not only the sexually explicit scenes but the feelings that are developing. As we all know Kakashi and Iruka are not NEARLY as close canon as we all wish they were. And as I am sure you are aware as are all of us that most fictions not only jump the gun but go extremely overboard. Example: They both meet. They both get it on. They both realize that DUH! OMG! SQUEE! they have been secretly in LOVE with each other for OMG!!!! YEARS!!! but were too scared to admit it, oh well, never mind that they are both ninja lets play house and smootch and nothing is ever going wrong, OMG I LOVE YOU- BLAH BLAH BLAH. -runs into corner and vomits several times-. Ahem. You see my point. Now I may be rambling, but I really do enjoy this fiction and the nice easy pace it is going at. I find myself thinking several times throughout the chapter that you must be extremely talented to keep making such great plot advances off the top of your head (or perhaps you have most of this already planned?). Everything comes together in a nice cognitive fashion and it is quite refreshing. I honestly can't wait to see where this goes in the future and hopefully we see not only their safe return but a good bit of the aftermath in Konoha. -rubs hands together excitedly- Bring it on! :3

Yay! A whole chapter of dialog is fine with me, however, it was hard to follow sometimes. Otherwise, excellent! Kakashi is so cute! And I love the revisiting the things that happened before with Naruto and Sasuke. That bit about Iruka's observations were awesome and Kakashi secret concern for Naruto made my heart swell. I've had to deal with that little detail since he had to know Naruto was Minato's son, but he wasn't around in Naruto's life. I'm glad you gave him that caring for him.

Wonderful timing for me. I wa son my commute home and out of internet range and I had nothing to read, well except for chapters 39 and 40 which I had saved to my offline reader, so that I can find your story again. I read them and by the time i got home i saw that chapter 42 was up. I read 41 and 42 and it was a nice Holiday surprise for me!

I just wanted to say that I too like the everyday details. i think you have a good balance between giving us a thorough picture of Iruka and Kakashi's daily situation without getting so bogged down in minutiae.

I've read so much of KakaIru since your last update that I forgot the plot :O It turn out to be a blessing cause I had the pleasure of reading again!!!!!!!! And again I think it's amazing :)
