so sai is the spy. not that we could not see that comeing. and i still want haku to have a happy ending, and it better not be by sacrificing himself for either of the idiots. i say that sasuke and naruto should beat the shit out of each other. that seems to be their way of coneing to terms with each other. haku and karen will referee. they can deal with the elephant thats in the room. and karen seems to have a thing for emotionaly stunted men

Poor Naruto! I can see where Sasuke may think he's been played, but I think he's being a defeatist. And that kind of behavior is going to get him in trouble. I can't imagine him hanging out with Karin...yuck. But I guess he can't allow himself to rely on Haku anymore so Karin is all he has left. I'm really leary about Sai. I know he was with Jiraya, but I'm guessing he's the spy that was sent to find the group. Haku is really going to get everyone in trouble because he's being foolishly trusting. I can only hope everything will work out. I'll be glad when all this angsty stuff is over, but I know it's necessary. Thanks for updating so quickly. I look forward to more. I love this story, but you know that don't you!

Sasuke makes me want to smack the hell out of him. I guess there's no need to worry about Naruto and Haku's little indescretion getting out any more. Oh well. It's better this way. Maybe it's what Sasuke needs to light a fire under his ass. I can just tell Naruto was thinking, "I don't need this horse shit right now" I'm sure he was really tired and Sasuke up and frosted his cake. Thank you for giving us another wonderful chapter. I love this story so much and I'm not eloquent enough to tell you just how wonderful your writing is. I look forward to more.

i love this chapter. sasu naru and haku realy do need to have a pow-wow. or as sai said, haku should confess his feelings to naruto. and naruto and sasuke should have their 'discusion' wheather its through words or fist cuffs.
here is a entersting thing to ponder. when naruto goes to work for danzo, will sasuke become a target. oh and will their friends from japan be making a appearance. and are si and haku going to get together ;).

and i loved your comment about how characters grow and change. especialy sasuke. he is at war with himself. the old sasuke wants to be a judgemental prick who believes he is being punished for wanting something sinful. and then their is the new sasuke who is humble, but has to learn how to love. and i dont necesarly agree with love is pain. when broken or unrequited, yes its painful. but it is ment to be beautiful and never failing

I'm really sorry about your grandfather. I know what it like to lose a close family member, even if you already know they're slipping away. It hurts, and it hurts for awhile. But keep your chin up chick-a-dee. He's at peace now. so is this going to be a threesome or is naruto going to get burned. sasuke will be pissed when he finds out what happend between naruchan and haku. and is this new guy going to spell doom for the rest. i cant believe haku sirens were not going off when the guy(cant remember his name) called him haku twice.

i also think haku should have a nice chitchat with sasuke sama. haku doesnt realize it, but sasuke is changing. a good way to describe the way that naruto and sasuke are changing each other is the song 'For Good' from "Wicked".

I really like how this was all from Sasuke's point of view. Things got a bit tense, didn't they? ^_^ It was funny seeing them in jail together.
And the ending.... yyeeeoow *fans self* I think you did a great job keeping it balanced, not just them two fumbling and running into it full steam. I like that there's still apprehension and confusion, and those bits like "What have we done?" Even though I'm sure there are plenty of people going 'OMG more more more' I think it's better that they're staying true to the characterization and the setting you have them in. I very much look forward to the next chapter... which I'm about to go read

"Like hell, you steroid-infused psychopath." -- Yeah, that made me laugh x) And Ooooo!!! Typical hot blooded male! Naruto isn't only fooling around with Sasuke but he let Haku at him as well!? So bad, Sasuke is going to castrate him! Then reattach his penis and castrate him again! Tehehe I love Haku so this mostly Haku-centric chapter was awesome. I'm really curious about this Shin dude now! I hope he was kicked out of the Watch Dogs instead of being trained somewhere more secretly as a secret assassin/spy for Orochimaru or Danzo. That might explain why he knew who Haku was, why he was watching him and Karin in the store, and how he disappeared all ninja like D: !! Then again, he also could have been recruited by Itachi. Uwaaa so many possibilities!! Yay for Naru Sasu (Naru)- Lovin!! Jiraiya will return a week, right?
