Wowza. I have to say, the earlier dream sequences for Kakashi had me scratching my head a bit. Gai's dreams always seemed more understandable to me. But this time.. oh, it all came together so nicely. I'm not a huge fan of dream sequences AT ALL, but reading this one, this has to be one of my favourite chapters in the whole fic. Kakashi's confusion and his realisation and then his absolute desperation, everything just FIT. I love the light Kakashi keeps seeing in the corner of his eye, the gorgeous way you tied it into Gai's heartbeat rapidly increasing and then ceasing during the real fight after opening the gates.

Yeah, it may not be the longest chapter, and it's definitely not the sexiest, but whoa, it's just beautiful. I loved it. I'm so happy whenever you guys update.
