Thanks for the new chapter!! I'm so glad that Sasuke has learned his lesson and that he won't abandon Naruto again! I wish the real Naruto series had been like this!

Goodness I adored this chapter. I don't think Sasuke was out of character at all, at least within the context of how his emotions could be after a battle like that. I am soo glad that he decided to stay, I would have cried if he left. Heheh, that little Ahou is adorable though. This chapter was definitely worth the wait! Can't wait for Naruto's perspective; keep up the good work!

I love this story. It is sooooo good. I'm glad Sasuke stayed. I wonder how Naruto will act towards him when he wakes up. Will he forgive him right away. Did Naruto hear Sasuke's promise?
Also do you have an update email list? If so could I please be put on it. I don't want to miss a chapter!

I just had to review chapter three for that scene where it's Sasuke trying to keep his hurt little boy trapped in that room. That was such a powerful image. Really amazing.

Personally I think it was a brilliant portrayal of Sasuke. On the inside the bastard has to be feeling something. Just because Uchihas don't broadcast their feelings, doesn't mean they don't have them.
And I always thought that to each other, to their loved ones they were probably more open. Even in manga, Sasuke's mother tells Sasuke that when her and his father were alone, Fugaku only talked about Sasuke. So they do have feelings, share feelings... just with a select few and I think we can all agree that Naruto is Sasuke's 'select few'. ;)
That said, I ADORED this line.

"He had two missions in life. Beating the fox would be his hobby."

The whole thing was so intense and that little line, somewhat lighter, still held so much weight.
Lovely chapter. Looking forward to more.

I'm so glad you decided not to let Sasuke go to Sound. And him making the Fox his newest rival was good too. You defently got the point that Sasuke is healing across. I can't wait to see what happens next. How will Konoha deal with an almost missing-nin?

I Love this story because its the joys and woes of puberty but at an intense level seeing as they are shinobi. Sasuke is angsty but sarcastic and his insights are hysterical. He is traumatized easily and is comical in his inner monologues. Then Sasuke gets all deep and constantly pondering on the past when he has his moments. I was laughing just imagining Sasuke cosplay as Lee rather than join in Sakura's and Naruto's debate

I love all those unknown feelings that Sasuke is experiencing, he is unclear of Naruto's possessiveness. On the other hand, Naruto being jealous that Sasuke will be taken away and leave him. As for Naruto, I found it very interesting that he was the one that found Sasuke after the massacre and decided that the emotionally broken boy just like him was now his. After all Naruto is also possessive when it comes to Sasuke his own desire to keep Sasuke from leaving despite putting his friends in danger says much about his character.

I seriously thought that in this chapter Sasuke was going to leave. I found the twist that you made interesting. I can’t wait to see how team seven will grow up. Aside from that Sasuke became the rational boy he knows that he will be used in return for power and that he decided to stay and train while seeing that the only place he could be is with Naruto. And I think the small fox Ahou made him realize this live for Naruto on him to stop living in the past and getting revenge along with Naruto as well as establishing something that he has lost but could now gain,.

And I think these lines that you wrote in the fourth chapter sums it up for me:

He was going to help him. Again.

After all, if he didn’t help the dobe, who would?

Seriously they are married and don't know it. Poor boys

yay!! Sasuke's dumbass didn't leave after all! Love the way that you handled the last few chapters. Very emotional, very exciting, and made of total *win*! XD

Now, if Sasuke had only been that smart in the manga. :(

    I loved it!! /hugs
