This wasn’t the person he remembered from ten years ago. Though there was similarity and he knew it was him. He just found it impossible that person went from an annoying prank playing loud mouth and turned into what was sitting at his table, laughing and telling stories of his time spent overseas. And the voice that used to give him headaches was holding him captive at the table, even if he would never admit it.

Now…the far opposite of the bratty kid that always got Sasuke in trouble. He was now a man threatening Itachi’s normal life. “I won't be home for dinner,” Itachi answered as he stood from the table. “I need to return to work, now.” It was past his lunch by an hour and a half, he wasted too much time here with them, with him. This was becoming, in the words of his assistant, ‘ troublesome.’ Naruto was starting to interfere with his work.Which was not good, especially with the caseloads he had taken on with his father's recent retirement. And the fact that Naruto had been consuming his mind, since he had decided to stay with them upon his return three weeks ago was starting to bother him.

Little things that would make themselves known in Itachi’s head, like Naruto’s laugh, his ability to make Sasuke smile. He also few times caught the corners of his lips twitching to smile a few times as well. These things were unimportant to him and not something he should allow to consume his thoughts.

So he would push it out of him mind and Naruto, and return to work, and try to get back into his daily habits. The ones that didn’t include the thoughts of what his baby brother's best friend could be doing with him. So without another word, or even another glance at that ridiculously sexy body, he left.

Naruto watched Itachi disappear from the dining room. Great another attempt was blown off, one of these nights he would get Itachi alone for dinner.

“Quit staring at the doorways like a kicked puppy, it just looks pathetic.” Sasuke smirked at the glare he received.

“Shut up.” Naruto pouted, “Why won't he just have dinner with me?”

“Maybe because your a moron that cant word an invitation right. ‘Dinner?’ isn’t exactly asking someone out.”

“It worked when you tried it,” Naruto responded, face taking a blank expression.

“Your right, so it goes back to you being an idiot.” Sasuke smiled, as he dodged the punch Naruto aimed at his arm.

“Well I have plans that involve better company, have fun with your failed attempts to get Itachi.” Sasuke stood, dropping his napkin on his plate for the housekeeper to take care of.

“I’m the best company anyone could ever have, so I have no clue why you're leaving,“ he said, voice rising slightly. Naruto, being the mature person he was, ignored the last part of what Sasuke had said and simply chose to throw a piece of bread at Sasuke’s head.

Naruto huffed watching his best friend disappeared, tossing one last piece in his mouth. Who needed Sasuke’s company anyways? He would just find some other way to occupy his time. Until he got Itachi to actually pay attention to him.

Naruto huffed watching Itachi disappear out the door. “He’s a workaholic,” he complained turning to Sasuke who was slipping on his jacket.

“Again how is he supposed to know, ‘dinners at eight’ really means dinner then sex. Naruto, words. You have to use them in a way that the message gets across.” Sasuke’s voice was full of amusement as he disappeared from the dark hallway.

“Well I figured I would start with dinner without the intentions of sex.” Naruto, paused, mumbled, “At first,” under his breath.

Sasuke exited the bedroom carrying a small brown bag, which he promptly shoved into Naruto’s hands. “You want some advice.” It was more of a I’m going to tell you want to do, instead of offering to help.

“Not from you,” Naruto retorted childishly. Already knowing he would still be told what to do by the other man.

“Too bad, you're getting on my nerves with all the dejected sighs every time he leaves.” Sasuke rolled his eyes watching Naruto’s attempt to glare at him. “Go see him at work.”

Naruto frowned as Sasuke moved opening the door. “That’s crappy advice.”

“Fine it’s not advice, it’s me telling you not to leave his office until you get dinner with him, and the sex that follows. Which I do not want to hear about later on.” Sasuke’s voice rose slightly with the last part. “And that bag is my gift to you, for later,” he added before he disappeared.

Naruto tossed the brown bag in the corner, like he needed Sasuke’s advice or whatever was in the bag.

He stood there for a few minutes, eyes shifting before they landed on the bag again. It’s not like it would hurt him to peek inside and see what it’s contents are. . .

Naruto ignored the ‘how to use a condom pamphlet’, and one on how to have sex Sasuke had in the bag with a small thing of lube. Naruto huffed, breathing heavily as he shut the door and locked it. Taking a few deep breaths as he met Itachi’s gaze. He grinned, “Security wouldn’t let me in, so I had to run past them all the way up here. “ Naruto paused taking another deep breath. “You know, for old guys, they are pretty fast.”

Naruto’s eyes snapped to the door, where they proceeded pounding on it. Before he heard keys jingling. He turned quickly to Itachi. “Help, tell them I can be here,” he yelled as the door slammed open.

Naruto made a dash behind the large desk, where Itachi sat frowning. “Itachi.” Naruto shook the man's shoulder. He heard the guards apologize for Naruto getting past them.

“Why didn’t you just say you were living with me and tell them you needed to talk to me?” Itachi asked, dropping his ink pen onto the oak desk.

Naruto pointed an accusing finger. “They chased me,” he answered, choosing to avoid the first part of what Itachi had said. Because he hadn't thought about it. And the second he heard the words. “Hey you! Stop!”, he ran.

“Because he ran towards the elevator.”

“Because you yelled, hey, stop.”

“Because you came bursting through the doors, of a 46 story building, grinning like a mad man. And didn’t stop at the reception desk.”

Naruto’s hands flew up, “The thought ever occur that I may work here?”

“You don't!” The officer retorted, Itachi found his hands rubbing his temples.

“Especially dressed like that,” the other officer retorted.

Itachi pushed his chair back slightly. “You two can leave now.” He turned to Naruto, ignoring the other two men who were now mumbling something he paid no attention too, before leaving. He did notice the grin Naruto had as he waved bye to the two security guards.

“What are you doing here?” Itachi spoke calmly, thinking momentary about how only Naruto would causes a big scene like that by just walking into a building. He frowned as Naruto made an ‘oh, yeah,’ face, like he had forgotten the reason until just now.

“So?” Naruto rocked slightly on his heels.

“I’ll see you at home.” Itachi pulled his chair back to his now messy desk, noting the phone was off the hook, the first light on, meaning it was connected to his assistant.

Itachi glared as Naruto’s eyes widened, the blond made a dash for the door, “See you at home,” he yelled, before escaping.

Itachi grabbed it, promptly hanging it up. He would deal with Naruto later. After telling security to detain him if he came back in again. He smirked a little…Naruto’s hands zip tied together while he sat in an empty room. It looked like his fantasies were enjoying that thought. He reached for the phone, first he would call security, finish the paperwork. Then call Naruto to come back.
