The blond man scowled at his crotch as he sat up up in his king sized bed. His naked groin was covered in his seed for the fourth straight day in a row. He was frustrated at waking up like this and was at his wits end. And it was all his imagination’s fault, well it was partially to blame. The other issue was that he hadn’t gotten laid in about a year and it was more than likely starting to get to him.
But his job was one that really didn’t allow him to have a normal significant other. Normal humans just didn’t understand his line of work and had always begged him to quit his job with the preternatural department and get a regular cop job. He had told them not to worry and that he was harder to kill, which was oddly true.
But that statement only seemed to make things worse. Sighing, he threw the covers off his body and slid off the bed. Making a mental note to wash his sheets later when he returned. He stretched his body to its full height of five foot eight, the bones in his spine cracking and filling the otherwise silent room.
He went through his normal routine automatically, shuffling along as if he were robot. His life was monotonous now without someone to share it with. He couldn’t count how many wishes he had made that he could find one person who would just stay regardless of how dangerous his job was.
The blond looked into the mirror in his bathroom, tired blue eyes stared back at him until he traced the scars on his cheek. He resisted the urge to rub them, they were a present from a very pissed off nesting naga. A hundred and seven stitches went into each cut and with six of them, that was a hell of a lot.
“You’re losing it Uzumaki,” he muttered to himself as he turned away from the mirror and brushed his teeth. He had exactly thirty minutes to shower and to get to headquarters. While the preternatural cop squad wasn’t entirely new, they had to fight for their own station. Calls would be mixed up when they came in when they were still associated with regular cops. And a lot of cops who weren’t trained to handle the supernatural were killed. He found it ridiculous that many incidents like this was the motivation to get them their own headquarters.
He was in and out of the shower in less than fifteen minutes. He didn’t want to dwell on the dream he had last last night with identical men worshipping him under a waterfall. They had been haunting him for the past two weeks and no matter what he did, they always returned. The blond sincerely hoped that they were a figment of his imagination, he didn’t want to dwell on what they were if they existed outside of his mind.
~~
When he arrived at the station, he was immediately accosted by the chief, Tsunade Sannin, and was led into her office. The blinds were pulled down to block out the few who were curious enough to peek into the office. Naruto couldn’t give them the finger and decided he would save it for later.
“So what’s up Chief?” He asked as he plopped into the chair that was situated in front of her desk, his feet immediately going for her desk, but were swept away.
“Brat, your feet don’t go there,” Tsuande snapped as she crossed her arms and glared at him.
“Right....” He drawled as he copied her gesture. “So?”
“There’s a situation uptown that requires your skills,” Tsunade answered as she turned to the window. “There’s a club owned by two brothers and a supe was murdered there. You’re the only one I can send out right now.”
Naruto sighed as he planted his feet and stood, he knew that she meant he was the only she could trust to go figure this out without alerting the media. It figured he would get the murder case tonight. It was like Tsunade singled him out and gave him the worst cases to work on even though she had others were more than capable of handling the cases, but he was the only one who kept his mouth shut.
He got the address from her and left the office, ignoring the jeers his fellow detectives threw at him. While everyone pretty much got along, they were always teasing one another. He flicked them the finger as he headed out the door, ignoring their cries for forgiveness. He jerked his car door open and quickly slid inside.
Looking down at the paper he saw the club name ‘Devil’s Delight’ scrawled out. Tsunade wasn’t the one who had written the name. It was then he got a sick feeling in his gut, the murder probably wasn’t public knowledge. He had heard about the men who owned the club and they were powerful in their own rights. They were supernatural beings themselves and were one of the driving forces behind some of the legislature in the government today.
He placed the paper down on the seat beside him, started up the car and began to wonder what kind of shit storm he was walking into. The whole way there, different scenarios kept running through his mind from the way the man had been murdered to just who exactly the victim was to warrant silence.
The lights on the club sign were out as he pulled into the empty parking lot. Naruto had to wonder how they got everyone out without alerting them to a dead body. Sighing, he paused a moment after he turned the car off and sat there. He didn’t want to walk into whatever shitstorm was waiting on him, but he had no choice. He was getting paid to do this and he couldn’t walk away.
The club was lit with regular lights, the stage shut down and the multi-colored strobe lights that were the cause of epilepsy. Two men were standing by the bar, arms crossed as they glowered at the timid man they were talking to.
Naruto stopped walking when he only a few yards away, his throat dry as he was able to make out the features of the two men. They were just like the men he had dreamt about just that morning. What the hell were the chances that those men actually existed? He cursed in his head as he scowled, wanting to bail but the covered body near the bar kept him from doing so.
He stalked forward, his shoulders set with determination to not make a fool of himself. He approached them, his scowl still in place as he introduced himself, putting his hand forward and shaking both men’s hands.
“Naruto Uzumaki, Tsunade sent me,” he said as the men stepped back, their expressions never giving their thoughts away.
They had to have been brothers, there was no way they were not related. Their facial structure was similar, but their noses were different. The one with short hair had an upturned nose while the long haired man’s was straight.
They were beautiful and together they were breathtaking. Naruto knew his knees would buckle if he were to let his guard down. He kept his professional facade up and started asking questions about the body.
If they recognized him, they didn’t show it and Naruto silently thanked his lucky stars. The questioning continued for a few more moments before he decided to take a look at the body. He threw back the blanket that was covering the body.
His instincts were telling him to run and that he would in danger if he continued this investigation. But he ignored them and got closer to the body. Two perfectly shaped teeth marks were embedded in the skin of the neck. He was dealing with a possible rogue Vampire, and Naruto hated them the most out of all of the other supernatural creatures out there.
But this person seemed like a normal human being to him and Naruto couldn’t help but feel that this man had been similar to him in some way. He continued to look over the body for any signs of being a supe and when he could find none, he leaned back on his heels and scratched his head.
“Ummm, this guy...what was he?” The question was directed at the brothers.
“Of that we are unsure are,” Itachi answered as he stood closer to Naruto, a hand was offered to help him up.
He took it and stood, ignoring the slight pain in his knees from crouching for so long. “Then how do you know he was a supe?”
“Because, moron, this Vampire drained him dry or did you not noticed that?” Sasuke answered as he crossed his arms, glaring at him.
Naruto couldn’t believe he had missed that, glancing back at the body he could now notice what the other man was saying. Whatever this man had been, Vampires liked his blood enough to drain him dry. This was something he had never seen before and wondered just what kind of mess he was walking into.
--
Naruto moaned as his nipple and cock were both sucked at the time. He couldn’t help but bury his hands into the thick hair, pulling the body closer to him. He arched up as his balls were fondled, the pleasure snaking its way up his spine.
“Gods,” he moaned as a bite was administered to his nipple. “Please...”
But his begging wasn’t answered, instead the actions of his lovers were slowed down and he felt as though he would combust from the pleasure. His lovers were Incubi and they would torture him for hours before he was allowed to release.
The mouth on his dick disappeared and he gave a low whine of disappointment. But he was silenced as a mouth possessed his own and plundered it. Naruto could taste himself on the tongue, but that didn’t matter. He tried to tilt his hips up to gain some sort of contact with the other, but strong hands held him still.
“My, look at you,” a voice purred. “All stretched out and just begging for release.”
A hand teased his erection and Naruto begged for it to stay. But his plea was not heeded and the hand disappeared. He was desperate for his release, he had lost track of time and didn’t know how long he had been in this state of borderline orgasm.
“Please...’tachi,” his voice was strained as his eyes pinned the red orbs of one of his lovers.
“What do you think, Sasuke? Should we give him what he wants?”
The younger brother pulled away from Naruto’s nipple and stared up at him, studying the face of his lover before smirking. The Uzumaki didn’t like the smirk on those delectable lips, he knew what it meant.
“I don’t think we’ve shown him just how delicious he is yet,” Sasuke purred as he sat up and pulled Naruto in his lap, his tanned legs splaying to the side. A finger teased between his cheeks, going unnoticed as he thrust forward, making contact with the Uchiha’s erection.
A body moved in behind his and suddenly his nipples were held captive once again while his neck was being attacked. He felt his pinnacle approach and could do nothing but cry out hoarsely as he was pushed to his limits and spilled everything he had between himself and Sasuke.
“I can’t believe this,” the voice was hushed and seemed far away.
Naruto slowly swimmed to consciousness as he noticed the constant blipping was becoming an annoyance. Opening his eyes, he saw that he was in a hospital room. But what caught his attention were the two men who were seated by his bed.
He was thankful that there wasn’t a tube shoved down his throat. The last time he had woken up in a hospital, he had to stay for at least seven weeks and three of them had been spent with that damnable tube stuck down his throat.
A dixie cup of water was shoved in front of his face and brought to his lips. He didn’t deny it, simply drank what was offered. It was odd how gentle Sasuke was being with him, since all they had done since their first meeting was fight. He looked from brother to brother, not liking the identical expressions.
“What happened?” He asked as he was helped sitting up. He rested against the pillows, which were more comfortable than he ever remembered.
“You cornered the suspect, but he tried to drain you.” Itachi answered as he took a seat. “He said your blood was the elixir of the gods.”
“He drank my blood?” Naruto snarled as his face twisted in anger. There was nothing more he hated than having his blood taken without his permission. He vowed that he would have that Vampire behind silver bars or a stake through the heart.
“Yes, moron, he did.” Sasuke snapped as he took a seat on the other side of the bed.
“Why did he not drain me like that others?” He was curious about that. He had been staking out an abandoned warehouse when he was attacked. Of course it had happened so fast that he couldn’t defend himself. The memory was blurry as he tried to force himself to remember.
“Don’t force it, it’ll come to you later.” Itachi said softly as he placed a hand on the bandaged shoulder.
“Who saved me?” He knew that by all rights that he should be dead. The only person who had known where he had been was Tsunade since he had told her of a possible lead.
The brothers shared a glance before an answer was given, once again by Itachi. “We did. We sensed you were in danger and came to your rescue. We almost thought we were too late.”
“What do you mean sensed?” Naruto asked, not really wanting to know the answer, but the fact remained that he had to know so that he knew what to write in his report.
“It seems we are connected on a metaphysical level,” Sasuke answered. “It means our souls are bound somehow without us ever having met.”
“The hell? Did you mate me without my permission?” Naruto growled as he leaned forward, wincing in pain as his shoulders protested the sharp movement.
“Incubi don’t mate, moron.” Sasuke answered as he pushed Naruto back. “We rarely stay in a relationship as we are creatures of a sexual nature and hop from partner to partner.”
“Could have fooled me with those dreams,” he huffed in an answer as he gently crossed his arms.
“Ah yes, we’ve been meaning to discuss that with you.” Dark eyes pinned Naruto with a serious stare as Itachi continued. “We were unconsciously sending you those dreams. We’re still unsure of how it happened, but have been looking into it. But for the most part, we are connected by our souls and nothing will sever that bond. If you wish for our bond to remain non-sexual, it can.”
“So you mean I’m basically stuck with you two?” He asked as he looked to his blanket. There were things he had wanted in this life and a family had been one of them, a loving partner and a few adopted kids.
“Tch, you look as if we’ve killed your puppy. But we don’t have to make it a physical relationship, we can let you live your life while we find other bedmates.” Sasuke answered as he moved Naruto’s head to meet the blue eyes.
“Okay,” he whispered, not sure if he was okay that this wasn’t turning into a relationship or if he was disappointed that they didn’t want him.
--
He finally had the murderer cornered in the alley and the sun was about to rise. If Naruto could keep the vampire out and let the sun fry the bastard the case would be over and he could go home. He had already tried to take Naruto’s throat out to get to what he called the ‘elixir of the gods.’
Naruto had no idea what so special about his blood that the Vampire was willing to risk the sun. His fist tightened around the silver stake in his hand as he approached the Vampire carefully, the memory of ending up in the hospital last time fresh in his mind.
“You’ve been the most fun to track down,” the Vampire smirked as he licked his lips. “None of the others tasted quite like you.”
“Others?” Naruto asked, knowing that if he could get the vampire to talk that he would buy some more time until sunrise.
“Don’t play coy with me, boy. Your Fae blood, I can smell it even from here.”
Naruto halted his advance, taken by surprise at the declaration. “Fae?”
“Yes, a Fae. The faerie folk, the sun’s children, whatever other inane name there is out there for your kind. Don’t tell me you were unaware of your lineage!” The vampire laughed, the sound coming from deep in his chest.
It was that moment in his shock that he made a mistake of letting his guard down as he was attacked. Naruto fell to the ground, the stake falling from his hand. He knew that he was done for as the teeth scraped his neck, blood flowing to the surface as the organ was breached.
He desperately tried to grab at the stake, knowing that it would save his life right now. He didn’t have enough time to wait on the sun, if the Vampire had its way, he would be a meal. His fingers barely grazed over the cold silver, but he couldn’t get a grip on it.
“Do you want to know why Vampires covet your kinds blood so much?” The Vampire whispered into his ear. “It’s because it allows us to walk in the sun for weeks at a time. But another interesting fact, is that Incubi become strongly addicted to a Fae’s aura. They feed off them without even knowing, so really your kind is nothing but a meal to the rest of us.”
Naruto stopped his struggling as he let the answer sunk in. It would explain why they had found victims during the daylight hours. He couldn’t believe that he hadn’t made the connection before, the answer had been right in front of his eyes the whole time. Naruto could feel the power leaving his body as he continued to struggle. But what had stung the most was about the Incubi. It certainly made sense and he gave up. There was nothing left for him in this world if no one wanted him for just himself.
Then the body was lifted from his, thrown against a building harshly as another body pinned it there with the silver stake. Naruto recognized the short black hair that was swept up into spikes. He smiled as he heard the howls of pain that were ripped from the Vampire.
“I’m sure he’s been subdued,” Itachi said, his voice a welcoming sound to his ears as he helped Naruto sit up. Sasuke had his hand at the Vampire’s throat, ready to rip it out on a word. “Do you wish for us to dispose of him?”
Naruto thought about it hard. It would be easy for the two Incubi to dispose of the Vampire, Tsunade wouldn’t have a problem with it. They had an order of execution for the perpetrator and Naruto had hoped not to use it. But it seemed that it would be detrimental to the populace to leave him alive.
“Dispose of him,” Naruto answered as he was cradled to a chest. He buried his head there, not wanting to watch Sasuke kill the Vampire. He couldn’t bare to watch someone he had come to care about murder someone, no matter if he was about to lose his life.
“It’s fine Naruto,” Itachi whispered into his ear. “We’re here now.”
It had been weeks since he had last seen them, he had tried to call them but they hadn’t picked up. They had made it pretty clear in the hospital that they weren’t made for relationships being Incubi. Jealousy had been eating him up ever since he had learned that they had taken others to their bed. He shook the thoughts away, not wanting to mourn what would never be.
“Just take me to a hospital,” he answered tiredly, attempting to pull away Itachi.
“You seem fine to me,” the Incubi answered as Sasuke joined them, his arms going around Naruto as he knelt.
“Then let me report to Tsunade, she needs to know...”
“Already did that, moron.” Sasuke cut him off as his head was pulled from the strong chest, dark eyes studying his face.
“I want to go home,” he answered stubbornly. He had to get away from these beautiful creatures that threatened to rip his heart apart. The Vampires words would not leave his head and he just didn’t have the strength to throw them from his mind.
He never noticed the look between the two brothers as he was lifted into strong arms and placed back into his car, though this time he was in the passenger seat. He was buckled in and before long, they were on the way home.
--
It was another wasted date and Naruto couldn’t help but feel as though he were truly alone. The dreams that once been a menace were gone. They never occurred again after his last run in with the Uchiha brothers, so they must have been blocking him.
The time after that rescue wasn’t a good one. Naruto wanted nothing to do with them since it was only his aura they were after. They hadn’t even denied it, simply stating that his aura was enough to last them weeks at a time even with the dreams. But Naruto had gotten angry that while they were getting gratification, he was receiving nothing in return. The potential for a relationship was laid out before him, but the Incubi only wanted one thing. So had he had booted them out of his apartment without a word, broken hearted that the best things to happen to him had to have been kicked out of his life.
He rubbed the bridge of his nose as he let himself back into his apartment, shutting the door quietly behind him. Naruto leaned back against it, closing his eyes. He would give anything to go back in time and beg the two Incubi to stay with him, to love him even though it was imagined and only brought on by his aura.
He had done research on his kind, to the point where he had never wanted to see another book again. But it had been helpful in realizing what capabilities he had and how to keep others from sensing him. He also seen the amount of danger dwindle down as well. It seemed that his aura had attracted a lot of nasties and now he was lucky if he ran into two a week.
“You’re home,” a familiar stated and Naruto opened his eyes to see himself flanked by the torturers of his soul.
“What are you doing here?” Naruto asked as he shoved himself off the door and stalked past them, or at least tried to as his arm was caught and he was spun around.
“We’ve come to claim you.” Sasuke answered as he drew Naruto to his body, crushing the smaller body to his own.
“Why didn’t you do this months ago?” He hissed as he tried to break free of the hold, but failed due to the superior strength of the other man.
“Because, we were foolish.” Itachi whispered into his ear as he was hugged from behind. “We ignored something that should have been precious to us.”
“That’s your problem,” Naruto answered as he tried to buck free, but again failed. “You can’t do long term relationships.”
“We tried to take others to our bed, moron. But none of them compared to you.”
“You mean my blood!” Naruto snarled outraged. “That’s all that anyone wants from me!”
“No!” Sasuke protested harshly as he cupped Naruto’s face between his hands, Itachi still holding him in place. “They weren’t blond enough, they weren’t loud or obnoxious or as firey as you are! We missed you, not your Fae heritage!”
Naruto collapsed against Sasuke, sagging slightly as both brothers held him up. He could tell that Sasuke was speaking the truth. But he didn’t know if he could do this. What if they were wrong about this? What if they tired of him later on down the road? The questions swam through his head as he clutched Sasuke’s shirt.
“Please, just don’t leave me,” he whispered against the pale collarbone.
“We won’t,” they promised and in those words he heard the truth and smiled. He knew he was being selfish, but he couldn’t help it. He would do whatever it took to keep them, for without them he was alone and he never wanted that again.
