Sasuke stood staring with eyes wide, his eyes traveling the long tanned expanse of Naruto’s well muscled tanned back. He was shirtless, shoeless and clad only in loose cotton house pants, and those were riding dangerously low on his hips. He closed the front door quickly shock still evident as he watched Naruto dancing. Hips rocking back and forth, arms pumping to a tune only he could hear and it was obviously a happy little tune from the grin plastered on the blond man’s face. “Dobe, what the fuck are you doing?” Sasuke finally got his lover’s attention. Turning with a small bounce Naruto smiled, then moved to the double doors which hid away their small laundry closet. Sasuke’s brow twitched at Naruto’s loud. “Ta-da!!” Sitting behind the door were a set of cherry red front load washer dryer. “It’s a washer and dryer?” Sasuke wondered if they did something incredible like made ramen to get his Dobe so excited. Nodding, Naruto squatted down pulling out drawers that made up the pedestal jacking the washer and dryer up to a more comfortable adult level. The scent of new molded plastic hit Sasuke’s nose and he made a face. “Aren’t they great? Top of the line. Steam stain system. Auto dispense for the detergent, fabric softener and bleach. The dryer has an auto dry sensor! Do you know how much this is going to cut down on my time doing the damn laundry?” He turned making a face at Sasuke, his irritation obvious. “I mean have you got any idea how hard it is to get blood and grass out of white? What sort of fucking ninja wears white anyway?” They’d had this argument before so Naruto just waved his hands to halt Sasuke’s response. “Anyway doesn’t matter cause now I don’t have to spot treat or scrub or bother with any of that shit.” “That’s wonderful Naruto. But how much did they cost?” Sasuke pushed his lips together, now just seeing giant red dollar signs in his apartment’s laundry closet. Slapping his hand over his face, Naruto mumbled the price and before Sasuke could pass out he quickly added. “But I saved 20% because I paid cash AND they’re high energy efficient and use less detergent!! Here look at the manuals. The warranty is free on them for three years too!” Sighing Sasuke looked at the washer dryer and their snazzy color and pedestals then at his lover. The happy and hopeful look on Naruto’s face took the wind out of his sails. “Alright, they’re very nice Naruto.” He nodded and felt the grin tug at his lips as Naruto started his little dance again. “Dobe.” Moving past the dancing fool Sasuke went to shower. It was his job to make dinner and he was hungry. Maybe he’d make some ramen for Naruto. He was sure they had some miso and he’d purchased the noodle ingredients last time he was at the shop. 888 Thank you to Moodysavage to get this back to me so fast!!
