The sun rose and people began filling the streets. Suddenly a blur of black and orange raced through the streets heading to the training grounds up ahead. Blond hair shone in the sunlight and cerulean blue orbs glittered with determination and excitement.

Ignoring the harsh glares and vicious whispers he sped up and landed just before a couple of people up ahead. One had short bright pink hair and green eyes that chatted with a dark and gloomy teen with duck ass hair and onyx eyes.

“Hey Sakura-Chan!” he greeted with a smile.

“You’re late Naruto!” she yelled and hit him on the head making him yelp.

“Ow! But Sakura-Chaan!” he whined as he held his head making her sigh.

“Honestly Naruto when are you going to grow up.” She sighed. Pinching his cheek lightly she grinned teasingly towards her ‘adoptive’ brother. She knew he had a crush on her for a while but just couldn’t find it in herself to return his affections.

Her heart belonged to the dark haired teen Sasuke still who had almost became a missing-nin all those years ago if Naruto hadn’t brought him back. Years have long since passed and Sasuke was still able to grow stronger than he probably ever could with that snake Orochimaru from Naruto’s taunts and drive for them to surpass each other.

They both chatted away with a few inputs here and there from Sasuke for a while until a sudden swirl of leaves and the appearance of their teacher, Kakashi-Sensei, made them stop to glare at the silver haired man.

“YOU’RE LATE!” Naruto and Sakura yelled as Kakashi scratched the back of his head and his eye upturned showing that he was most definably smiling under his mask.

“Maa, maa you two, I just happened to help a poor dolphin with some books that needed to be carried and had to help ‘relieve’ some ‘unwanted’ tension…” he started only to be cut off by a dual “LIAR!” from the two again.

He chuckled and opened up his orange Icha Icha book and mumbled a quiet ‘Well this time it’s the truth…’ that Naruto heard and shuddered to. He knew Kakashi was dating Iruka and always called him a dolphin, thankfully the other too don’t know about the nickname and were clueless.

“Today we’re just going to be doing a little sparing with one another alright?” he told them and nodded to the simultaneous ‘hais’ coming from his students.

They sparred together for a few hours ‘til the sun was slowly setting making the sky a fiery reddish orange and pink color.

“So pretty” Sakura commented after a short while of relaxing from the strenuous practice they had just done. Naruto and Sasuke looked up and had a small agreement in their head about the sky. It looked like someone had just set the sky on fire from the way the colors blended together harmoniously.

Suddenly figures erupted from the forest and charged Naruto. They seemed to be Chunnin and civilians by the way they were dressed.

“Die monster!” one of them screamed as they charged the blond with weapons. Sakura stood shocked at them and suddenly team 7 went into action to knock them all out without injuring them.

There had been ten of them and Naruto sighed. He sacrifices so much for the village and all they do in return is try and kill him. Suddenly a pat on the shoulder draws him from his depressed musing and he sees Sasuke looking distastefully at the villagers and ninja.

“Don’t mind it dobe their just even bigger dobes than yourself.” He told him with a light blush tainting his cheeks. Naruto’s heart warmed knowing Sasuke tried to cheer him up even though doing so was very rare for the raven and smiled.

“Yeah don’t worry I’ve gotten used to it!” he exclaimed giving him a thumbs up. Sasuke sighed dramatically but smiled slightly to his annoying friend.

“Naruto!” Sakura suddenly yelled coming towards them. They turned to look and suddenly Naruto had a fist to the side of the head from Sakura.

“Baka! Don’t lie! Theres no way in hell someone would get used to their own village trying to kill them!” she spat tears forming in her eyes. How could she not have known about how the villagers thought about him?! He was supposed to be someone special to her that she would watch out for.

Naruto looked up at Sakura with a grateful smile on his face. Standing up he embraced Sakura and comforted her.

“Gomen…and thank you…Sakura” and she nodded.

One of the Chunnin that had been taken down rose up slowly with trembling arms. He glared at the demon that had tricked their fellow ninja and was hugging them!

With a raspy voice he yelled out with quickly moving hand signs at the group.

“Shadōsutairu! Dimenshon tensō-jutsu!” (Shadow style! Dimension transfer jutsu!) And a ball of dark light came flying towards them.

Naruto saw the orb from over Sakura and shoved her into Sasuke making them go flying a few feet away before it hit him in the stomach. Sakura and Sasuke looked back to him and eyes widened.

“NARUTO!!” She screamed as he fell to his knees gasping. Kakashi effectively knocked out the Chunnin and rushed over to the blond. He was panting heavily with glazed eyes and yelled out in pain. Kakashi moved Sakura and Sasuke back as the air began to warp around Naruto’s body from where he was hit.

Pain and confused filled sapphires looked back at his friends and smiled weakly. He knew he was being sent somewhere…just to where? He didn’t know. A sudden painful gasp left him again as he was slowly pulled away.

“Sorry guys…seems like I’m being sent away somewhere…urgh...” Sakura had tears in her eyes.

“Can’t we do something?!” she asked Kakashi but he shook his head no.

“I’ve never seen that type of jutsu before…Naruto” he began and saw Naruto smile warmly but sadly.

“Yeah, tell everyone I’m sorry…and good-bye” and suddenly with one last scream of pain he vanished. Sakura fell to the ground crying as Sasuke lowered his head, fists balled up.

Kakashi sighed and sent a chakra flare up so Tsunade would know to send some ANBU to where they were to pick up the mess. He lifted the pink haired girl slowly up by her arm setting her on her feet.

“Come on we need to go tell Lady Tsunade what happened.” And they rushed off to Hokage tower leaving the bare spot where their blond friend had vanished.

He felt like he was floating. Opening his eyes blue orbs took in the black endless abyss surrounding him.

“Where…am I?” he wondered aloud to himself and suddenly felt a pull and suddenly he was falling. A yell fought to break free but it seemed to be stuck in his throat somehow. Falling aimlessly he felt Kyuubi’s chakra pull from him and shifted into a form right beside him as they fell.

He recognized the man as Kyuubi’s human form. Kyuubi had long crimson strands of hair that was let down all the way to a little bit past his waist. He wore a dark red kimono with a golden obi like his eyes around his waist.

A black choker with seals glowing and disappearing ran along his neck with a crimson and sapphire jewel in the form of ying and yang on it.

“Kyuubi” Naruto began but was cut off.

“Naruto, I know what you’re thinking so, no, we’re not dead. We’re being sent to another world because of that stupid human’s forbidden jutsu.” He seethed and Naruto looked shocked.

“Wait what forbidden jutsu or for that fact ANY jutsu be able to do something like that? There aren’t really other worlds out there…are there?” he asked kind of scared. Kyuubi looked at him with a stare that said ‘Obviously if beings like me can exist other things could be out there also.’ and frowned.

‘Damn stupid fox acting like a know-it-all’ he grumbled within his head and Kyuubi smirked.

“I can still hear you, you know.” He chuckled.

‘…..shit’

Naruto gave a small huff and pouted. He looked around, finally remembering again that it felt like they were falling and looked down. Nothing but black for…well…everywhere still. Looking to the fox demon Kyuubi saw the silent question and sighed.

“That man was completely useless with the jutsu so when he used it he didn’t pick a specified dimension or world if you wish to call it and send us there. We’ll wait a few moments longer and see if-“and just as he was about to finish Kyuubi was pulled back into Naruto and a bright light glowed below the blond making him wince and cover his eyes.

Suddenly he was sitting on a rough stone type of material and looked up to see a night sky with dim stars twinkling in the air.

He suddenly listened properly and heard the loud noise of mysterious objects that were larger than he was racing down what looked to be a black stone road. He was in what looked to be an alleyway that was dirty and filled with garbage and gunk.

Tall buildings he had never seen before rose high into the sky, almost as tall as the Hokage Mountain from the looks of it but a few hundred feet shorter.

Gaping openly he never noticed the odd looks he got from the people who actually looked into the alleyway as they passed at the odd looking blond. Cosplay?

Even though Naruto had lost all the orange years ago it was probably odd looking to the people of this world. He wore a tight black sleeveless shirt, that was like the ones ANBU wear, that showed off his toned body with a fair amount of muscles from years of training and baggy black pants with two orange stripes going down the sides. Fingerless gloves that had steel plated backs with the Konoha symbol on it covered his hand up to his elbow. He wore the standard black ninja shoes with wrappings around his calves.

“Kit you there still?” a voice called to him within his mind, and he sighed a breath of relief he replied.

“Yeah I’m here. Where are we exactly anyway?”

“We’re still in Konoha just…a more advanced but ignorant version of compared to your world.” Kyuubi informed looking around for himself.

“Really, what are those things anyway?” he asked pointing to the fast moving metallic objects zipping by. Kyuubi chuckled; Naruto was going to have a blast in this world.

“Those are called cars, Naruto. They allow humans easier and faster transportation than walking. They have other things that are similar but different.” There are ones much larger and rectangle shaped, those are buses, the white metal flying ones you might see in sky when morning comes are called planes.”

Naruto ooh’d and aah’d. This place has so much! He frowned as realization hit him. These people have basically no chakra! It’s so faint Naruto was surprised he even felt it at all.

“It’s because this world has long since passed the ‘honorable’ time when more than, if not a few, held some kind of modesty and pride for themselves. Plainly speaking kit…to them we’re just a myth that no one believes at all.” He told the blond. He would most likely be sad knowing there would be no one to train with or at least learn from, other than Kyuubi, and be stuck here for who knows how long.

“So basically without having any practice in the use of chakra, over time it faded along with the knowledge of it and human’s ability to tap into it. Everything on it was either destroyed or hidden deep within the earth from time.”

“Then wouldn’t I have lost you and my chakra coming here then since this is another world or somethin’?” the blond asked. Kyuubi shook his head.

“It’s because of how pathetic the jutsu was it only sent us here without breaking us apart and leaving your chakra behind. This is a good thing I must admit.”

“Why?”

“Because this world is run by greed and sin. Everyone has no honor, as I said before, and have weapons that are called guns which have devastating power…not like our jutsu though. So you’ll need everything you know to survive here.”

Naruto nodded and was soon explained about most of this world and found it quite fascinating yet disgusting. Soon Kyuubi decided they should leave the alleyway to make sure they were out of peoples was when they did ‘business’ in there within the shadows and musk.

Jumping swiftly in a blink of an eye and faster than these untrained human eyes he stood atop of the building he was near and raced off jumping from roof to roof taking in his surroundings.

Suddenly a yell was heard a couple blocks away that Naruto thought sounded familiar. He rushed over and stood on the ledge and looked down. A soft gasp of recognition hit him as he saw a familiar red head with a wound on his shoulder being cornered by a couple of shady men holding ‘guns’ as Kyuubi pronounced it.

Listening closely he was able to hear some of the conversation they had be having.

“-so are you gonna give us back what you stole ‘Shukaku’ or else we’ll need to take more drastic measures.” A man smirked and moved closer to Gaara.

Gaara only glared at them and edged back. He knew it was a carless mistake to run into an alleyway and now he would fail his mission. He cursed silently under his breath.

“No answer?” the man asked and grinned sadistically “Well then good-bye Shukaku-San!” he laughed and fired.

Gaara’s eyes closed but didn’t feel any pain or the feel of death at all. Opening his eyes once again he saw a man with bright blond hair wearing a strange black outfit was in front of him.

“What!? How is that possible? I fired a direct shot at him?!” the man yelled demanding to know how he had missed yet at the same time he hadn’t. Naruto chuckled and smirked at them.

“Sorry but I don’t feel like seeing someone die tonight. Now if you’ll just leave I’ll make sure to not kill you all.”

The group got pissed and charged him, ready to beat the new comer for interfering. Suddenly they were flying back against the brick walls, destroying the wall some with broken bones.

“Oops, guess I didn’t hold back enough.” The blond chuckled and looked back to the shocked red head.

Gaara’s mind was in turmoil. How had this man suddenly appear out of nowhere and magically make the bullet disappear and basically taking down five men in one go with damage like that. He hadn’t even seen him move! And then he suddenly says he guesses he didn’t hold back enough! Just who was he?!

Naruto looked over at the wound while Gaara thought carelessly and frowned. It looked pretty bad by the looks of it and from how Kyuubi explained this world he wouldn’t be able to use his arm anymore really with this worlds medical care.

His hand moved up to lift the sleeve of the t-shirt over so he could see when suddenly a pale hand grabbed his and he looked into glaring teal eyes.

“What are you doing?” he hissed when he suddenly noticed the blond reaching for his wound.

“Trying to see how bad it is, duh!” he teased grinning brightly. He slowly got Gaara to let his hand go and looked at the wound. Yeah, it was pretty bad. He sighed and stood up straight to look the red head in the eyes properly.

“From the looks of it if you go to this world’s hospital you would heal but never use your arm properly again.” He told him making Gaara frown. What is he talking about by saying ‘-this world’s hospital…’ is he nuts?!

Shaking out of his stupor he looked down at his shoulder and glared at the wound. He knew he would get taken out since he would basically be useless now. What was he to do afterwards?

“But Ga- I mean Shukaku…” Naruto said gaining Gaara’s attention again. He heard something come from the blond that sounded like the start of his real name but it couldn’t be true. He never even met this man!

“…if you want I could heal you myself and you’ll gain full use of your arm within two days.” He informed and Gaara’s head shot straight up towards him.

“How?” he demanded “Our modern medical ways could never do something as difficult as that. How could ‘you’ someone I’ve never met before be able to do that?” Pain shot through Naruto’s chest when he heard that. He knew that Gaara wouldn’t remember him since this was a different world but it still hurt hearing it since it was technically still the same red haired person he knew.

“I can’t tell you that since it’s a classified secret but what I do is special and only I can do it.” He told the red head, ignoring Kyuubi’s yells at him to not reveal anything about his skills. Gaara looked skeptically at the blond but gave a short nod.

Smiling Naruto suddenly let his medical ninjutsu, the things hes learned from baa-chan, and moved it over to the wound. Gaara flinched back from the mysterious glowing hand but suddenly stiffened and held still when he heard the blond growl at him to not move.

He felt a warmth move over the wound making him flinch in pain and suddenly felt the bullet move out from being embedded into his shoulder and fell silently to the ground and saw as the tissues wove together filling the hole back together as good as new.

Naruto moved back and gave a small smile, happy with his work. Gaara moved his recently injured arm and saw that it still worked like new, before it had a bullet lodged into it.

“Well any way I should probably go now.” Naruto responded trying to hold in his chuckle as Gaara played around still with the healed are of his arm before looking at Naruto with shocked eyes.

“Wait don’t go!” he called before suddenly Naruto vanished into thin air with one last wave.

He stared a few moments at the space the blond had occupied before as his mind finally caught up with him telling him that yes, the mysterious blond had indeed disappear.

Almost instantly afterwards he pulled out his cell and ran down the block to find a familiar limo that held the person he needed to see quickly.

“Hello, how did the mission go?” a voice asked as they answered.

“I need to see you, NOW!” he almost yelled making the person on the other line intrigued as to what got the normally emotionless red head so riled up.

“I’m at the usual spot. We’ll meet there and then head over to Club Kage (Shadow) to chat.”

A knock on the car’s tinted window brought the man’s charcoal black eyes to it and saw a rather eager Gaara panting with the phone still by his ear.

They disconnected and Gaara entered sitting on a seat by the man.

“First things first though, have you achieved our goal?” he asked and the red head nodded making him nod his head.

“Excellent this will help us gain new trusts and take down some of our enemies stocks making them weaker.”

Gaara was half paying attention at the point as he replayed the events that happened not just twenty minutes ago.

The entered club kage and went to sit at a secluded and private area of the club where they could see everyone and everything that was in the club while chatting privately.

“So what’s got you so worked up ‘Shukaku’? You’re never like this at all.” He inquired.

“As I was retreating with the goods I made a stupid mistake to run into an alleyway only to get cornered by a group that was sent after me to retrieve ‘it’ back.” The man nodded.

“A silly mistake like that gets you killed in this business you must realize by now?” Gaara nodded and continued.

“I was shot in once in my left shoulder, effectively rendering it useless as they closed the space on me. As they shot again at me this time towards my chest a man suddenly appeared in front of me and the bullet was gone. Hadn’t hit me nor did it hit him.”

“But how is that-“

“Yes I know impossible. I never did get an answer from him.” He told his companion. His t-shirt was suddenly lifted away where the blood stain was and he frowned.

“I thought you said you were shot? You’re moving your arm perfectly fine and theres not a trace of any indication to being shot.” Gaara sighed; this was going to be totally confusing to have to explain if you hadn’t actually seen the man do it.

“Actually that’s when things became inhuman to me.” An eyebrow rose at the comment but he continued “As the group closed in on the man because of his taunts they were suddenly being flung in every direction hitting into the brick walls and destroying pasts of them.”

“Also he started mumbling to himself about how he didn’t hold back enough he guessed.”

“Are you sure this really happened? Yes he could be good but not that good.” His dark companion asked. Gaara fumed, the guy was real and so were his abilities too.

“He was also the one who healed my shoulder with his hand. It was glowing and the tissues seemed to weave together as the bullet was pushed out of my body.” He explained.

There was a moment of soft silence as the man thought about what Gaara said and could hear the pounding music of the club and the loud chatter of drunks and people hanging out. A smirk played at his lips as he looked back to Gaara.

“If he is as real as you speak of show me the location of where you found him and let me see evidence to prove it’s not just some hoax you we’re seeing.”

Gaara glared but stood and led the way back to the car. He directed their driver who was a large man with strange blue skin and looked like a shark. His name was Kisame and he was also another person who worked with him.

They we’re led back to the same alleyway where the man still lay broken and blacked out. Kisame’s eyes widened and he gaped while onyx eyes took in the damage. Gaara walked over to the spot he had stood before and turned back to them.

“This was where I stood and that” he said pointing to the crushed bullet on the ground, covered in drying blood “is the bullet that was lodged in my arm.” He showed them and long, pale fingers took the crushed object and his smirk slightly widened.

Turning his dark eyes to meet fierce teal ones he dropped the bullet back onto the ground.

“New mission Shukaku, find this man and bring him to us. He may just prove to be useful since all of this proves that he at least exists.” And swiftly turned walking back to the limo he patted Kisame on the shoulder.

“Get people down here to bring those men to the cells and clean this mess up before anyone finds it.” He ordered and Kisame groaned in frustration. This was an annoying part of the job.

Gaara inwardly did a victory dance and returned to his usual stoic self as he thought about how and where to find this blond man.

“And Gaara” he called again from within the car through the opened car window “Don’t let me down, alright?” Gaara bowed.

“I will not let you down Madara-Sama.”

lol I've seen so many stories that have Naruto coming into a modern day world so I just had to try making my own. xD Hope you enjoyed this first chapter cause I know I like how it's coming along myself. And please leave some reviews! They make an authors life happier and know people actually like our work! Ja Ne!
