Caramel and Cream

The rain poured ominously from the pitch black sky. Black clouds covered the horizon in a thick blanket of darkness. Not the moon, nor a single star, could be seen through the thick cloud cover. The only light visible came from the passing street lamps and store windows as the black Mercedes-Benz passed by in a dark blur. The streets of this part of town were conspicuously empty save for the occasional passing car. It made the perfect atmosphere for tonight’s not quite legal activities.

The police and city officials were bribed into silence, turning a blind eye on the activities of the wealthy and powerful. The backseat occupant of the car smirked as he drew closer to his destination. He would not be the least surprised if he saw the city mayor or even the state governor tonight. Tonight’s little dalliance was one of his few vices and though his face was recognizable, the event goers would never dare reveal the goings on of tonight to the public. He was not the only person they should fear should lips spill details of this dark, rainy night.

Most who knew Itachi Uchiha saw only a multi-billionaire Japanese-American businessman, who single-handedly had brought his family’s software company into stardom at the tender age of 18. Itachi was the type of man that caused women to cream their panties and men to pop tents just by watching him walk into a room. He exuded sensuality but remained elusive for all that set their eyes on him. His looks may have opened the door for many of his business conquests but his keen intellect and viciousness in the boardroom earned him the title of ‘Devil’ in elite business circles.

Tonight, however, he was free to sate the building lust that had begun coursing through his veins in a steady stream over the last few weeks in anticipation of the events. His disappointment of the selection of the previous year’s auction had left him sexually frustrated and more than a little irritable. If he couldn’t have the one he truly wanted, he would make do with buying his sexual satisfaction.

He had both men and women throwing themselves at him in a desire to share his bed, and yet, they all failed to wet his appetite. He had, of course, eventually caved and taken to bed one of the many offerings but was left still longing for something more after his panting stilled and his sweat dried.

“Mr. Uchiha, we are almost there.”

Itachi inclined his head in acknowledgement of the words spoken by his driver. Yes, they were almost there. The warehouse district, located near the ocean, was dark but Franz knew where to go. Itachi had been a regular at these auctions for the last six years.

The minutes ticked by and Itachi fought the urge to shift in his seat as they neared the last warehouse on the block. He felt his blood heat and bit the inside of his cheek viciously to distract his body from the desire that was building in his loins and threatening to result in an embarrassing tent in his very expensive Armani trousers. The metallic taste of blood filled his mouth as he relished in the distracting pain. Regardless of the vow of silence from all participants, an Uchiha had an image to uphold when in the company of others. He would not allow something as primal as physical lust to distract him from that principle.

After several moments in tense silence, Itachi released a withheld breath as the car finally slowed and stopped before what appeared to be a rundown warehouse. Looks could be deceiving and Itachi knew that the outside of this building was no exception. A figure materialized outside the door and opened it, holding a large black umbrella to protect him from the heavy rain that seemed reluctant to slow its steady pounding.

Itachi unfolded his body from the car in an elegant motion. Drawing himself up to his full 6’1 height, he strode with slow confidence towards the door which was opened immediately for him. There was no need for hidden passwords or the secret passing of money. The sight of him alone was enough to gain him entrance into the building. Denying him such was not something the event organizers would ever think about doing.

The stench of the waterside was soon filtered away as he stepped into the cool building. Incense billowed from holders as his coat was taken by an attractive woman situated near the makeshift coat check. After signing in at the desk, Itachi was lead through a series of hallways until he reached the main stage area.

The interior of the warehouse had been converted into an extravagant auction house. Thick Persian rugs lined the floor and large comfortable chairs were arranged around a large, round stage. The din of conversation halted as he entered the room and Itachi could smell the lust dripping from nearly everyone in attendance, most would be willing to sell their soul for a night in his bed.

Settling himself in his private bidding area, Itachi watched with hooded eyes as conversation slowly began to rise once more. A tuxedo garbed man placed a snifter of brandy at the small table to Itachi’s right. Lifting the crystal snifter, Itachi sipped at the liqueur. The rich flavored brandy burned down his throat and settled in his stomach, heating his blood with its addictive warmth.

“I’ve been told that this year’s selection of flavors is the best it’s ever been.”

Itachi turned his eyes to the voice. A bleached blonde woman was sitting next to him, her body dripping with garish jewelry. Thick make up coated her face but failed to hide the remaining evidence of childhood acne from Itachi’s gaze. She looked less like a wealthy patron and more as if she was playing dress up with her mother’s jewelry and make-up.

“And you are?” Itachi’s cold voice didn’t seem to deter her from gazing lustfully at him.

“Bernadette Michaels. My husband owns Michaels Inc. How about you and I forgo this little soirée and have a party of our own.” A manicured hand settled on the arm of his suit jacket, stroking gently the fine woven material. The woman was obviously dense and Itachi shuddered mentally at the thought of any part of his body entering her.

Sneering, Itachi turned his nearly black eyes on the woman with a fierce strength that was normally reserved for the boardroom. “I would not touch any part of you even if it cost me my entire fortune. Now, I believe you are sitting in my section. Please leave before I have you thrown out.”

The tone of his voice denoted boredom but the flash in his eyes left no room for argument. The woman sputtered indignantly but rose to leave when man wearing a tuxedo placed a hand on her arm. Glaring daggers towards Itachi, the woman left. The clatter of her ridiculous jewelry was heard even over the din of the varied conversations.

“I’ll see that she doesn’t bother you anymore, Mr. Uchiha.” said the tuxedo wearing man. Itachi nodded and returned to his observing of the guests.

The city mayor, Thomas Gerbaldi, was laughing robustly at something humorous said by his companion. His well fed stomach protruded over his belt as he clutched at his abdomen in mirth. The most wealthy and powerful in the city were here, some just to watch the events and some to actually buy. Nothing would come cheap. Nothing Orochimaru sold ever came cheap but should one buy, they were guaranteed to be pleased with their purchase. The man might be a snake of a businessman, but he only dealt in quality merchandise.

“Ah, I am so glad that you could make it tonight, Uchiha-san.” spoke a voice in perfect Japanese.

Itachi didn’t need to turn to know the owner of that darkly smooth voice. Orochimaru stepped from the shadows and glided over to stand beside Itachi’s chair. Tall and slender, the man’s pale skin and yellow eyes presented an amazingly attractive combination. His passing resemblance to a snake failed to cloud the beauty of his milky white skin and aristocratic features.

“I’ve been told that your selection this year is exceptional.” answered Itachi in Japanese.

“My selection is always exceptional. I was very disappointed in your failure to bid last year. Perhaps some of my flavors this year will entice your appetite to taste.” Running his abnormally long tongue over pale lips, the man closed his eyes as he thought of what he would do with the brunette seated before him if ever given the chance. It was a pity that the man was so particular in his tastes. Ah well, there were other fish to fry and it was no use continuing to dwell on what would never be.

“The auction will start soon. Please enjoy yourself, Uchiha-san.” Orochimaru bowed respectfully and left Itachi.

Almost on cue, the lights dimmed and a voice came over the audio system. “Will all honored guests please take their seats. The auction will begin momentarily.”

Itachi removed a cigarette from his pocket. Lighting the thin, white roll of tobacco, he inhaled deep and released it in a slow breath. The white smoke curled around him like a lover before disappearing into the room. The excited chatter died and the room was silent as Orochimaru took the stage.

“Welcome, honored guests to my little auction. All proceeds go to…me.” The room chuckled in response to the little joke.

“Tonight my little treasures come in a variety of flavors and I have only to ask you one question…What’s your flavor? Are you perhaps a vanilla type of person?”

Upon asking the question, a stunning young man was lead onto the stage by a collar and a chain. His naked form gleamed in the stage lights. His hair and skin were so pale that for a moment Itachi thought him to be an albino. His body was slender but well developed and he carried himself with an aura of elegance. The handler lead the young man around the stage by a golden chain, turning him this way and that as the guests drooled over his near perfection.

“Kimimaro comes with a one year indenture to whoever takes him home tonight. Isn’t he lovely? I almost kept him for myself but decided that I would share him with you. Shall we start the bidding at 500,000 dollars?”

And so began the auctioning off of flesh to the highest bidder. A stranger looking on the events unfolding would gaze on it with disgust at the selling of human flesh but just as the location of the auction was deceiving, the principle behind it was just as so. All men and women sold tonight were under a one year indenture. After that one year, they were free to leave and were given a large settlement sum from Orochimaru. They could ask to be sold again or go on their way. Any gifts given to them by their temporary owners were theirs to keep. It was a win-win situation. The young ‘flavors’ received a considerable settlement at the end of the year and the bidders receive a sexual slave for a year.

With the exception of the previous year, Itachi had bought someone each year, only keeping them a few months before releasing their indenture. Like with everything but business and Sasuke, Itachi became bored quickly and it was really only the thrill of buying someone and owning every part of them that brought him the most satisfaction.

As the auction progressed, Itachi felt boredom creep in. Though each of the men and women brought before the audience were exceptional in beauty and desirability, he found himself unmoved by any. None had that special spark that he found himself desiring. As the night wore on, he began to fear he would find no one worth buying. Not a single person pricked his interest.

“I have shown you vanilla, strawberry, chocolate, coffee, and many others. Now I will show you the final flavor for tonight. Here he is, ladies and gentlemen, may I present before you, the flavor caramel.”

Itachi stood to leave, knowing that he would find no interest in this last flavor when he froze in shock. Lead out onto the stage was perhaps the most beautiful creature that he’d ever seen. Creamy caramel colored skin and topped by a mop of wild blonde hair, the boy was paraded around the stage for all to see. Encircling his navel was a black spiral tattoo. It intrigued Itachi as much as the physical aspects of the blonde.

The room was twittering with excitement. It appeared that he wasn’t the only one that wanted the boy. Snarling to himself, he knew that he would spend every dime of his fortune for just a single night in the young man’s bed.

Shivers of lust tingled through Itachi and he couldn’t prevent the erection that presented itself in his pants. His eyes darkened and a flush spread across his cheeks as he gazed upon the unblemished skin. His body was a little thinner than Itachi liked and it was obvious that he’d not been eating as well as he should but that was easily remedied. He knew that he would not be leaving this night without the boy at his side. “This is Naruto, my flavor of caramel, chosen for his beautiful skin which is smooth and nearly unblemished. And an even better surprise for all of you is that this beautiful specimen is a virgin. “As with all my flavors, Naruto comes standard with a one year indenture. Now to start the bidding at $3,000,000.”

Itachi raised his hand, shocking the entire room into near silence. He’d failed to even attempt to bid on anyone, simply sitting in his chair, brooding. The wealthy in the room jumped to attention and the race was on. It wasn’t long before the bidding had reached the astronomical price of $10,000,000. Orochimaru’s pulse was skyrocketing. He’d never imagined the boy would bring such a high price. He’d known he was special the moment he’d seen him standing on a street corner, attempting to wash windows for pocket change. He didn’t know what made him stop and offer the boy the deal of a lifetime but his wallet was certainly thanking him.

One by one, the participants withdrew until the only two that remained bidding were Itachi and Bernadette Michaels. It seemed to Orochimaru, that Mrs. Michaels was only bidding in an attempt at revenge towards Uchiha. The auctioneer was well aware that the woman was soon approaching her set limit, though he had to admit she had balls to go against Uchiha-san with such a petty display.

“Eleven million.” she said calmly, though she was obviously sweating. Her thick foundation make-up was streaking under the nervous heat. Itachi simply glanced coldly at her. She thought that she could play with the big dogs, did she?

“Twenty million.” Orochimaru nearly fell off the stage. All Itachi would have had to do was bid one dollar more and the woman would have been unable to counter, however, he instead upped it a full nine million.

“Uchiha-san, I believe my lovely caramel flavor is yours. Please continue to the back to finalize the arrangements and I thank each and every one of you for your generous contributions to my retirement fund. Good night and I will see you next year.”

Itachi stood and strode past the fuming Bernadette Michaels. She wasn’t worth his time or attention. The beautiful caramel colored blonde in the back, on the other hand, was.

The area behind the stage was crowded as owners now jostled here and there, seeking out their new prizes. Itachi strode by a pink haired girl who was being fondled by her pudgy new owner. Strawberry flavor, if he recalled correctly. He could tell she was less than pleased with her new owner. She sent Itachi a wistful glance before turning back to her new master.

Scanning the crowd, Itachi became frustrated when he couldn’t find the caramel skinned young man. What was Orochimaru playing at? Fighting back a growl that threatened to escape his lips, Itachi was forcing his way through the crowd when a young woman approached him and bowed low.

“Please follow me; Orochimaru-sama is waiting for you in his office.”

Itachi remained expressionless as he allowed himself to be led away from the hustle and bustle into a more quiet part of the refurbished warehouse. A large door was opened and the woman gestured for him to enter, closing it behind him. The first thing that Itachi saw was Naruto sitting in a chair, dressed in a simple, orange robe. It took ever fiber in Itachi’s being to keep him from grabbing the blond and ravishing him across Orochimaru’s desk, uncaring that the flesh dealer was sitting there.

“Itachi, you have made me an extremely happy man tonight. Never in my wildest dreams had I imagined that this boy would sell for such a price.” Orochimaru’s yellow eyes sparkled with more than just dollar signs as he looked intently at Itachi.

“What do you want, snake?”

“Oh, you wound me. I’m simply attempting to make conversation with my favorite customer.”

“Just give me the contract. I’m sure you have already deducted the money from my account.”

“Very well, here is Naruto’s contract. It’s the standard contract of one year’s indenture in exchange for 10% of his sell price, which will be placed in a high yield account with no danger of profit loss. He has been tested for every known communicable disease, been vaccinated, and had a complete physical. Other than slight malnutrition, he is in perfect health. From speaking with the boy, he speaks fluent English and Japanese, and is obviously of Japanese decent. The hair color is natural which denotes his mixed blood. The boy has very little in the terms of clothes so you will need to provide him with such if that is your wish. Thank you for doing business, Uchiha-san.”

Orochimaru stood and approached the boy. “Itachi Uchiha is your owner for the next year. Should you two wish to extend your contract at the end of its duration is between the two of you. At the end of the year you may return to me and I will arrange to have the money transferred to an account for you. Do you have any more questions?”

Naruto shook his head and glanced at Itachi, who was staring intently at him with those darkly beautiful eyes. How could a man be so beautiful and yet exude such a sense of danger and intrigue. He wasn’t sure but he knew he would learn more about him as they became more intimate over the next year.

“Well then, off you go, enjoy yourselves and I wish you much pleasure.” The pale man shooed them from his office and then set about going over his finances with more than a little glee.

Itachi said nothing but led the robed Naruto from the office and through the main area where most of the invitees remained, everyone seeking to get a glimpse of the boy that had drawn the illusive Itachi Uchiha’s attention so powerfully. Women whispered behind hands and men coughed into palms as the two walked by. Naruto stumbling in an attempt to try and keep up with the longer strides of his new master.

Stepping into the cool, rain dampened air; Itachi signaled his driver and pulled the shivering, barely clothed Naruto into the warm confines of the Mercedes-Benz. “Home.”

The man nodded and pulled away from the warehouse and into the pitch black streets. The ride continued in silence, Naruto keeping his eyes locked onto his clenched hands as he waited to be ravished.

He’d been starving on the streets until Orochimaru had found him and offered him what seemed like a too good to be true deal. He would be guaranteed placement in a wealthy household and each bidder was required to sign a contract that forbid physical mutilation or abuse. For the next week, Naruto received education in sex and pleasuring his partner. It really didn’t matter to him that some might find it disgusting that he was selling his body, as long as he had a full stomach and a safe place to sleep he would deal with the sexual part.

In that moment, he’d prayed with every fiber of his being that this man would be the one to buy him. That was his greatest desire, to be loved and possessed by the intense eyes that stared unblinking deep into his soul.

Now, here he sat in a dark car, driving down a dark street with Itachi Uchiha, his owner for the next year. For a while at least, he wouldn’t be alone. He wouldn’t have to sleep on a cold doorstep or have to scrounge through trashcans for survival. For a year, he would be safe from the dangers of living on the streets.

The car pulled into a well lit parking garage and Itachi stepped from the vehicle, pulling Naruto along with him. Naruto’s naked feet were freezing as they padded on the cold, damp asphalt for the short walk from the parked car to the elevator that lead from the garage. Shivers began to coarse through him as the wet chill of the night air dragged every ounce of warmth from his body. Where long, slender fingers gripped his wrist was the only spot of warmth in his entire being.

Itachi pulled the shivering blond into the warm elevator and punched the top button. He owned the entire building but only kept the top floor to himself. His brother, Sasuke and his slew of various lovers stayed on the floor below. The remainder of the building was occupied by the various wealthy and socially prominent individuals that could afford the obscenely expensive rent prices.

The elevator chimed as it reached the top floor and Itachi lead Naruto towards the only door on the floor. Pulling a key from his pocket, the brunette opened the door and ushered his young purchase in. Flipping the lights of the hallway, Itachi shed his shoes and stepped onto the polished hardwood floor.

Naruto remained in the entryway, his eyes nervously scanning the apartment. He watched as his new owner strolled across the room and settled in a plush armchair. A slender hand gestured for him to approach and Naruto did so with faltering steps.

“Are you afraid?” The words were smooth like silk and twisted around Naruto’s senses before settling in his lower stomach with a soft burn. Naruto swallowed the lump that had formed in his throat and nodded in an affirmative jerking motion. A small smile creased the chiseled lips, softening the aristocratic features. Naruto found it amazing that the man could get even more beautiful. The smile softened the aloof eyes and gave him a slightly gentler appearance.

“Come closer. I won’t bite.” The purring words sent more heat spiraling down through Naruto as he fought to keep eye contact with those deep set eyes.

Stepping forward in an effort to please the man that owned every part of him for the next year, Naruto bit his lip as those pale hands lifted to the tie of the orange robe. The silk material slid open and Naruto allowed it to slide from his arms to pool around his ankles. Fighting to keep his breath calm, Naruto never allowed his eyes to drop. He wouldn’t allow this seductive man to cower him. He had pride after all.

Itachi’s eyes devoured every inch of the revealed skin, memorizing each dip and each curve. The creamy, caramel colored flesh glowed in the light of the lamp. Itachi’s eyes traveled over a slender neck, down past small brown nipples, only stopping its journey to gaze at the spiral tattoo that curled seductively around the small navel.

Pale fingers lifted and traced the design as it curled darkly against the caramel colored skin. Itachi watched with interest as chill bumps spread across smooth skin, radiating from where he touched. The throbbing visible at the base of the blonde’s throat sped up its pulsing. Wide blue eyes followed every move he made. Naruto was so enticing to watch. Even the tiniest response seemed to spur on Itachi’s own lust, which was almost unbearable and they had barely started.

Itachi’s sharp eyes zeroed in on the three scars that lined each cheek. He was surprised that instead of marring his beauty, it only added to it, giving the blonde a slightly feline appearance. Itachi stood marveling at the discovery that Orochimaru had hidden under make-up.

“Where did you get these?” he asked, his fingers tracing the scars.

“Some thugs on the street cut my face up to show they were kings of the street while I was searching for food.” Naruto shuddered at the memory. The pain and blood loss had nearly killed him. He was lucky that there was a nurse at one of the shelters who was able to use sterile strips to close the wounds since going to a hospital was out of the question. The wounds had been slow to heal and left distinct scars on his cheeks. Orochimaru had been uncertain if he should hide the marks or not, finally deciding that concealing them would be the best option.

Itachi’s eyes watched intently as Naruto shuddered as he spoke of his scars. He felt a deep and dark rage burn through him. How could anyone think to hurt such a beautiful creature? His mind played out more than one scenario of murder to the faceless men that had scarred Naruto’s cheeks.

“You…don’t mind?” asked Naruto, quietly.

Itachi leaned and touched his lips to a red cheek, his tongue sneaking out to trace each scar before giving the same treatment to the other cheek. Naruto jumped at the touch but soon sighed in pleasure. A low rumble released from Itachi’s chest as he savored the flavor of Naruto. He tasted of the soap used to clean his face, as well as, a naturally salty flavor that was Naruto alone.

Naruto could barely hold in the moan that threatened to escape when he felt the soft touch of Itachi’s tongue on his cheek. He was beginning to overheat with the liquid fire that was pouring rapidly into his bloodstream.

Itachi pushed him until his hips were flush against the sink. The heat radiating off of his owner was so potent that Naruto felt it penetrating him to his very core. His teeth nipped at the arched neck, leaving small red marks along the unblemished flesh. He couldn’t get enough of the flavor of the blonde. He was sweeter than any dessert. The quiet whimpers and suppressed moans did little for his control as he sought to force down the urge to flip Naruto over and pound into him to satisfy the thrumming lust that refused to be denied.
