Never in his life did Sasuke think he would step foot in such a sleazy place as he currently was. The flashy lights, the obnoxious music, the scantily dressed women - it was all very much beneath him. He was an Uchiha, after all. Making his way towards the 'T' shaped stage, he made sure to glare icily at anyone who dared make eye contact.
Not ten minutes earlier he had been moving around the outskirts of the city, eyes red with his active Sharingan when his sharp vision caught sight of a poster in the southern district. For a brief moment every thing stopped - or rather his body did, causing him to nearly face plant into a tree branch. With what felt like a heavy stone in his stomach, he had turned back and sought out the rectangular paper. Sure enough, his eyes caught sight of the weathered poster with a blond woman in the center. A very familiar blond woman, with hair pulled up into two, long pigtails and three thing scars curving along each cheek. Even in the poster, the blueness of her eyes surpassed any color he'd ever seen before.
Now, in the building that had been attached to that advertisement, Sasuke sat with his back straight and hands clenched tightly on the armrest. He was determined to find out what the hell Naruto was doing working at a strip club in the middle of a completely civilian town. By means of his peripheral vision he kept his eyes out for Sakura or anyone else he might recognize from Konoha. At the same time, he kept his chakra level covered so as to appear like an extremely weak ninja that no one would bother with.
A slim brunette was currently on the stage, obnoxiously swinging her hips from side to side as her ridiculously large breasts threatened to fall out of her small top. After a few minutes and quite a lot of close calls passed, she apparently seemed to think a good remedy of the situation was to remove it all together. Sasuke looked away, his lips curling up in distaste.
He scanned the room again, still searching faces of the various men while letting his hair fall over his eyes so he could stealthily use his Sharingan to detect henges or other illusions that might have been used on bodies. It didn't take much more then a quick scan of the area to decide they were all just a bunch of perverts. He checked on the list posted on both ends of the stage, noting that 'Foxy' - god, Naruto couldn't be any more obvious - was two 'entertainers' away.
The heavy booming of the music trilled in his chest annoyingly. As he sat he fought the temptation to drum his fingers in impatience. Luckily, it wasn't much longer before the current girl finished her performance and was replaced by another, even skinnier one.
Glaring away any strippers that tried to approach him, Sasuke sat back a little in his chair, eyebrows furrowing as he thought. This was a town very far from any ninja villages, so what the hell was the blonde doing?
A mission was always a possibility. However, the only large chakra presence he sensed in the whole place was that of the poorly disguised idiot. It just didn't add up, having Naruto sent on a mission alone when so many were out to kill him - including Sasuke. Was he suppose to be bait?
The brunette stripper who had been on stage when he had first entered approached him, her top back on, and ignored his icy glare. She gave him a coy look and swung her hips in what he guessed was suppose to be a provocative manor.
Care for a dance, sugar? Her voice was pure giggles and femininity. Sasuke hide a grimace as he turned his head away dismissively. Out of the corner of his eye he could see her pouting, but his attention was immediately drawn towards the stage where the current stripper was stepping off as another song started pulsing through the air. A low beat contrasted with a rhythmic chiming, followed by a chorus of whistles from the crowed.
Sasuke kept his face stoic as he watched the blond step out onto the stage, moving gracefully in sync with the music. 'She' wore no shoes - his guess was that the dobe couldn't walk in high heels - and it made 'her' stride seem almost animalistic.
Sasuke almost flinched when he felt a light touch to his shoulder. He turned, a glare fixed into his eyes as the brunette stripper looked at him hopefully.
Sure you wont change your mind? she said, her voice low and throaty.
Not interested, he growled out before turning his eyes back to the blonde on stage. The stripper at his side huffed and walked away, her voice carrying through the loud music as she propositioned someone else.
Naruto looked ridiculous clad in a bright orange bikini, jumping around like a brain-dead idiot. He looked wrong, his body much too curvy, too soft. Yet, his eyes still shone expressively, and although the lips were more pouty and stained a strawberry red, it was still Naruto's smile that stretched across that delicate face and beamed at all the men in the audience. An unpleasantness settled into the pit of Sasuke's gut, like a pebble dropped into a pool of water, ripples shimming across the surface of his feelings. Only these ripples didn't fade out, instead growing more insistent inside of his chest.
Sasuke knew the moment Naruto spotted him sitting in the crowd. To any untrained eye he – no she, he decided, because she wasn't like the Naruto he remembered – hadn't reacted, still swinging hips in circles as her ridiculously oversized breasts knocked together like prayer bells, but Sasuke had seen the small hesitancy. For the briefest of moment's, Naruto's body paused, blue eyes widening by a fraction as her smile started to shrink. She recovered almost immediately continuing the stupid dance as if nothing had happened.
Naruto's blue eyes jumped past him every time she turned her head to grin idiotically at another man. Her glossy lips stretched across pearly white teeth, smiling invitingly towards the audience. A tightness roused in Sasuke's throat, contracting more every time Naruto smiled at anyone but him. But really, he didn't care. The dobe was free to smile at whomever he wanted. Why should Sasuke care? He didn't. And the fact that his knuckles were white from gripping his seat was unrelated.
A loud creaking was followed by the sound of tearing fabric – an indication that the armrests to his chair had been ripped off. He was a little too distracted by the way Naruto jutted 'her' hips to the side, allowing some dickhead to slip a dollar in her bikini bottom to notice right away. A cold liquid seemed to cascade down his chest as he saw grubby fingers graze down the tan skin of her too-curvy hip.
It was only after Naruto moved out of range that he realized there were two armrests in his hands. Silently, Sasuke eyed the people around him, but none seemed to notice his chair's distraction so he was able to casually ditch the broken pieces and move to another spot. As he sat down again, straightening his spine and fixing his face to that of a cold mask, he mentally patted himself on the back. He was a freaking ninja genius. He handled that situation very smoothly, if he might say so himself.
Naruto made her way over, dancing on the other side of the stage, her long legs stepping delicately with the rhythm of the music. A foul old man with a leathery face waved her over and started shoving money into her bottoms. Sasuke could feel his Sharingan spinning wildly, but refrained from death gripping another chair to destruction.
Thankfully for Sasuke's sanity, the music crescendoed to and end, and 'Foxy's' number ended – even more thankfully with her top still on. While Naruto was gathering up the last of the tips, Sasuke slipped into the back, disguising himself as the brunette stripper that had propositioned him from before. The guard at the backstage door didn't look twice as he stepped aside to let 'Sasuke' through. The Sharingan user bit back the fist that wanted to punch the second guard just inside the doorway, who had the audacity to leer at him, and instead threw a coy look over his shoulder and headed back to where he guessed was the dressing room.
He found 'Foxy' with Naruto's grin plastered on a face with too many soft features. The jaw was too round, chin too soft, and Sasuke had an urge to shake the blond and demand he change back. Part of him worried that the way Naruto looked so delicate and vulnerable was what kept him from just throwing a punch and starting a fight with the idiot. But of course, the reason he wasn't doing that was because he wanted answers first. That was all. Then he'd surely beat him up. Probably.
Naruto looked up, the same blue eyes that sometimes appeared in Sasuke's dreams – not that he would ever admit it, mind – looked at him, or rather the brunette he was disguised as with unabashed happiness. Something cold stirred in his chest, but he ignored it. He wasn't really sure why, because it certainly didn't have anything to do with the realization that Naruto used to look at him like that but wouldn't ever again. Sasuke scowled.
'Foxy' laughed, her too high voice hiding the deep baritone that was somewhere underneath. Don't give me that look, Candy.
Sasuke just scowled further, unconcerned with how it would look on his current face.
Ah, I know. You still want me to share the work of private dances? Sorry, but I told you I don't do that. A tan hand waved in a dismissive gesture as Naruto raised his other to rub against the back of a too-slender neck. Sasuke ignored the pleasant feeling of hell yes, he doesn't let them touch him privately and smirked.
Dobe, he whispered. The blonde suddenly tensed, chakra rippling under his skin as he looked at Sasuke in a way the brunette could only describe as a hurt confusion.
What are you doing here? The question was asked with a sharp edge in the voice, but it was still too soft, too high in pitch.
Sasuke turned back to himself, ending his henge in a puff of smoke. He waited a moment, hoping Naruto would do the same, but no such luck. He let a smug smirk form on his lips, trying to make his body appear as relaxed as possible, despite the way his heart quivered rapidly in his chest.
I asked you a question, Naruto said, crossing arms to frame breasts that had no right being on that body.
I could ask you the same thing. Sasuke said, still smirking.
They both froze when they felt the presence of someone approaching. Naruto gave him a pleading look, but Sasuke did nothing to hide his presence as the door swung open. The broad shouldered guard that had leered at Sasuke on his way in moved from the doorway, his eyes fixing immediately on the brunette.
Thought I heard a man's voice, he said in a gruff tone. He bothering you, Foxy?
Naruto's eyes sharpened with panic as he glanced over to Sasuke, who was easing away his emotional mask just enough to let his amusement show through. He knew Naruto would have to play nice, or risk the man trying to attack Sasuke, and they both knew what the possible outcomes of that would be.
In a habit that was so Naruto, the blonde rubbed the back of his neck and let out a nervous chuckle. No, no, I'm fine.
Actually, Sasuke spoke, his voice cold and perfectly controlled, I was just about to take Foxy out for a bowl of ramen.
Ramen! Naruto shrieked, startling Sasuke enough for him to visible flinch while the dobe bounded up and down excitedly. The breath was knocked out of his lungs when Naruto's bright smile flashed at him - him - and blue eyes crinkled in genuine happiness.
The face was still wrong.
Sasuke regained his composure instantly, hiding his foolish reaction to that stupid smile. The next thing he knew Naruto was tugging him out of the room. The brunette had no idea how Naruto had thrown on a long, orange overcoat over his skimpy clothes without Sasuke's notice, but he was glad the dobe had done so.
Naruto, still using his damn 'temptation technique', walked with his arm linked in Sasuke's. As they made their way to the ramen place, the dobe talked cheerfully of all the great noodles he'd - or rather Foxy - had eaten there. Many heads turned, looking at the beautiful women draped over the attractive man's arm, but Sasuke didn't pay them any attention.
He'd never let a woman grab his arm like Naruto was doing now, and he should probably just push the idiot off like all the others that had tried before him. Maybe it was because he knew Naruto wasn't really a girl, or maybe it was the idea that if the blonde was in his normal appearance things would have been kind of - oh hell no. Sasuke must be going crazy if he thought walking down the street, side-by-side with Naruto could ever be described as- never mind, he wasn't even going to think the word.
Oi, this is it! Naruto said happily, tugging on Sasuke's arm towards a small both. He let himself fall onto a stool, a cold feeling sweeping over him as Naruto's body separated from his own. He glanced over with a frown as the blonde took a seat, curling bare feet behind the support bar at the bottom of the stool legs.
Welcome back, Foxy, a young man greeted with a bow. He turned to Sasuke, poorly hidden jealousy apparent with his tight jaw and narrowed eyes. A friend? 'S not like you to be seen with a man.
Sasuke held back a laugh from the bitter tone, restraining it into a smirk instead. He knew everything would go unnoticed to the dobe, but that didn't dull the slight amount of smugness that welled up, and even the smallest amount of pride underneath that. Not that he really cared, of course. He still had no idea what the hell he was doing, but he'd like to think it was all part of some plan of his, just one that hadn't quite fully formed yet.
This is... Dark eyes shifted themselves at Naruto's words, hearing something not understood, some kind of hidden emotion underlining the blonde's voice, apparent even in the feminine covering. Someone I knew a long time ago.
Sasuke turned away and began to study the menu as if the most interesting secrets were written on it. I'll have the fried rice, he said, trying to shake the way soft words seemed to echo around him.
I want miso ramen! Naruto said, his - her - voice once again cheerful.
The man didn't even look at Sasuke, bowing lowly with a fake smile planted onto his pursed lips. Luckily, they were given some semblance of privacy when he turned and ducked behind a curtain. Sasuke was expecting Naruto to start shooting off his mouth again, but after a full two minutes of silence, he realized he wasn't going to.
The counter underneath Sasuke's fingers was smooth but grainy. He tucked one foot behind a stool leg and let the other skim the dirt. In actuality, he wanted to say something to get the blonde talking, but it scared him that the urge to hear Naruto was so great. Naruto's voice wasn't right anyway.
Here you are, the ramen stand worker's voice said as he pushed through the curtain, two dishes in his hand. Naruto's bowl was set down much more gently than Sasuke's own food, which only amused the Uchiha greater. Feeling... well he didn't know how to categorize it, since he sure as hell wasn't going to call it playful, Sasuke leaned over in his stool and wrapped an arm around Naruto's too-slender shoulders, smirking smugly at the man across from him.
He wasn't surprised by the tensing of those shoulders, but oh, the heat of Naruto's body pressed to his, held by his arm was something so shocking it was all Sasuke could do not to let his hands tremble. A tense moment passed, broken only by Naruto's cheerful, Itadakimasu.
The glaring man disappeared behind the curtain once more, and Sasuke pulled away, ignoring the way Naruto's fake smile slipped off his face and became one of contemplation. Thankfully, he didn't ask any questions or say anything, too distracted by inhaling his food through too pouty lips.
Sasuke ate his food carefully, properly. Small bites, proper chewing with his mouth closed – the complete opposite from the person next to him. But that's just the roles they had always played, opposite from each other. His head slumped forward just a fraction of an inch as he stared into his bowl.
Hey, Sasuke...
The boy in question looked over into blue, blue eyes.
Do you remember that fight when we were children, the one with Haku?
Sasuke swallowed hard and tilted his head away from Naruto. Hn.
When I asked you why you protected me, do you remember what you said?
Sasuke didn't move.
You said you didn't know why. Said that your body moved on its own.
What's your point? Sasuke said coolly, turning his head. He froze the moment he saw Naruto's tan hand rubbing against a too-slim chest, right above the left breast where...
Naruto's laughter filled the air again, but it was somehow heavier and darker than Sasuke could ever remember hearing it. Guess you grew out of that.
Sasuke turned his head away again. What are you doing here?
Baka, you already asked me that.
And you never answered, Sasuke said, twirling his rice around with his chopsticks before letting them fall. He'd lost his appetite.
It didn't seem to be the case for Naruto, who was still happily slurping away. The blonde turned, noodles falling out of a pump mouth. Yew didn' eesher.
Why are you, Sasuke waved his hand, indicating the disguise.
For me to know, Naruto said, shrugging.
Is it for a mission?
What makes you think I'd tell you, even if it was?
Sasuke turned away, feeling unexplainably angry. They were enemies, of course that kind of stuff would never be offered up freely.
Sasuke-kun.
The brunette tried not to cringe at the sickeningly sweet tone of the too high voice. He glanced over, only to find himself being scrutinized in such a way he felt as if he were one of Orochimaru's test subjects. He cringed inwardly at the thought.
Naruto might have found something in Sasuke's carefully hidden expression because the tan features of the blonde's face softened. I'm doing research for Ero Sensei's new book.
Sasuke's eyebrows twitched. Ero Sensei? Dobe.
Hey! Naruto cried out, his normal voice bleeding through. Sasuke tried, and failed, to bury any warmth that spilled into his chest at the first flash of the Naruto he remembered.
You asked, bastard.
Hn, Sasuke said, smirking. Do you want another bowl?
Naruto picked up the now empty dish, chopsticks rumbling inside. There was a flash of white before he slipped something inside his cloak. Sasuke followed the movement with his eyes, but didn't comment. No. Let's head back.
The brunette frowned, but nodded. After slipping a few bills on the counter, he stood and followed Naruto in the direction of that damn strip club, something heavy tugging in his chest. This time there was no linking of arms, no cheerful talking, just two people walking silently down a civilian street.
Naruto, Sasuke said, giving the blond a sidelong glance. Have you finally given up on me?
He didn't know why he was asking it, but somehow he thought he might regret it later if they didn't have this conversation. Part of him wanted to know where they stood in the future, despite how another part thought it was just a foolish indulgence.
Naruto was quite for a while, not even making a sound as his henged bare feet stepped on the dirt road; surely the silence was his answer.
He looked down at his own feet, something inside him hardening. He was too distracted to notice the quick movements of Naruto until he felt a tug at his wrist and found himself being dragged into an empty alleyway.
Naruto faced him, eyes bright with determination and whispered, in his own voice: Never.
Sasuke couldn't stop his breath from hitching, suddenly feeling hyper aware of his surroundings. Every emotion inside him swam intensely as the feel of Naruto's hand still on his wrist burned warmth throughout his body. As if someone else had suddenly taken control of him, he leaned forward and welcomed the heat of Naruto's body as it pressed against his.
Naruto moved very slowly, releasing the fingers around Sasuke's wrist and gently, barely touching, they traveled up his arm. Sasuke could feel another hand snake around him, gracing his back. He couldn't move, breath hitching at every slow touch, every small rub from Naruto. The tan body drew closer, pressing him further into the wall, the rough fabric of Naruto's coat rubbing against the naked skin on Sasuke's chest, bared by his open shirt. A warm breath puffed against his neck erotically.
Isn't there anyone that takes care of you, Sasuke? That can give you what you really need? Naruto's mouth was so close to Sasuke's ear he could feel the soft lips just barely grazing against his skin. Shivers traveled down his back, his eyes fluttering.
How could it be? After all this time, after everything Sasuke had been through, how could Naruto still effect him so much - strip him bare, leave him so raw? What was it about the idiot that made it possible for him to breach Sasuke's carefully constructed walls around his emotions?
The hands traveled over his sides, thumbs grazing just the smallest amount of skin on his bare chest. Even through the strength of the feelings welling up inside him, Sasuke could still feel something off about the touches. Something, besides the henge, was
wrong with Naruto's presence.
Everything was too calculative, too detached feeling. Naruto seemed distracted, somehow, as if this was all impersonal to him, like some sort of act.
Change back, Sasuke whispered.
The blonde paused for a fraction of a second before those slender hands continued their work. Shh, it doesn't have to be me if you just pretend-
Change back, Sasuke growled again, pushing firmly against the too narrow shoulders.
Naruto huffed and backed up. You could have just pretended I was another woman.
I didn't want to. The words were chocked back, restrained before they could roll over his tongue, and Sasuke was terrified at how strongly he felt all of a sudden, so open, so nude. Feeling alive in a way that only Naruto could bring out of him.
Then there was a puff of smoke, and Sasuke's heart skipped a beat as it dissipated, leaving the figure of Naruto, his Naruto standing before him. The defined jaw, the broad shoulders, the boyishly narrow hips covered in the ugliest orange pants he'd ever seen - everything was right again.
He was coming apart at the seams. He had no right to feel this strongly about someone, but the memories of times when Naruto had been by his side, when Naruto had been an important part of his life cut into him like shards of glass. Only Naruto had brought him out of the darkness that was the life he was suppose to live, creating a warmth inside of him like no other could. Sasuke shouldn't care, if he killed the dobe he would gain something so unaccountably precious, but somehow he never could. He had left Naruto for dead, but still failed to actually make sure he died, because a part of him knew that Naruto was even more preci-
Thankfully, Naruto interrupted his thoughts before his treacherous mind could finish. He hadn't actually heard what the blonde had said, but the deep murmur of his voice still felt as if it was vibrating around him. Not wanting to give away that he had been distracted, he kept his face as aloof as possible and stared back ahead at the agitated looking teen in front of him.
Always got to be a bastard, Naruto growled. Never mind.
Naruto's legs crouched just a bit, muscles tensed, and Sasuke's blood ran cold – he didn't want to see Naruto leave. He was there in a flash, pressing the tan body against the wall. Naruto's face showed shock, but he hadn't been totally helpless, not with the way Sasuke could feel a kunai pressed warningly to the skin above his liver. He ignored it as he stared into weary blue eyes. Naruto's words from earlier echoed through his head.
Isn't there anyone that takes care of you, Sasuke? That can give you what you really need?
Just you, Sasuke whispered, cutting off Naruto's confused 'what' by pressing his lips against the blonde's. A metallic clang reverberated in the alley a beat after the brunette felt the throwing knife fall away.
Sasuke tried to tell his body to stop, but there was a longtime buried feeling blazing through him, like a small ember he had been trying to smother had suddenly sparked and grew into flames that were licking him from the inside out. He pressed his body up against the frozen one of Naruto's, hands roaming almost desperately into blonde hair and behind a slim hip.
He shouldn't be doing this, he knew that, but how was he suppose to stop himself when Naruto was here, where he could touch, and smell, and see, and taste? His tongue slipped out, sampling the spicy flavor of ramen on Naruto's lips.
After a long moment where Sasuke was just starting to reign in some control over his body, fingers loosening as he started to fall back, a tentative pressure on his lips had everything bursting to life again.
Naruto was kissing him back.
A desperate need so great it racked his body with tremors rushed through Sasuke, his knees almost buckling. His hands traveled, pressing on the back of Naruto's shoulders to draw their bodies closer, fingers curling in black fabric. The exchanged touches were nothing like a few minutes ago. There was no softness in the way Naruto's hands roamed over his back, down his sides, against his hips. All the calculation of the movements from before had been replaced with raw, intense passion.
Their kiss was bruising, each pressing their mouths harshly against each other. Teeth clacked, pinching lips. Tongues slide wetly into hot and panting mouths, fighting for dominance. Clothes were being tugged, pulled, ripped open to expose chests, shoulders, backs, skin to each other's desperate touches.
Sasuke managed to get Naruto's jacket and shirt off, leaving plenty of naked skin to drag his lips and tongue over. His mouth moved over the blonde's neck, feeling the quick pulse and his head began to spin like crazy. He was disoriented as he traveled past the collarbone, finding a pink nipple to worry with his teeth.
S-s-s-sas...
Naruto's attempt at his name ended as a moan that would forever be etched into Sasuke's memory. He caused that. He was giving Naruto pleasure.
It was all so... so... completely ridiculous that he had lost his cool, controlled personality. He didn't understand it, not that he was actually trying very hard to think. But still, he had been able to push down any feeling of lust, deny his body the physical pleasures of being with others his whole life. It had been him and Mr. Righty since he was thirteen years old, and even then only on the nights when he just couldn't ignore those primal instincts.
Now, though, something had completely cracked inside of himself, and it just figured it would be Naruto who broke it. When their positions were reversed, and a tan body pressing into him he whimpered like a wet dog in the rain. This was unacceptable, he was an Uchiha, damnit, and it shouldn't excite him so much to have someone trailing kisses of fire down his chest.
The purple sash that held his pants up dropped, followed soon after by the rest of his outfit, leaving him only in the leather armor on his forearms and his sandals. What made him feel so incredibly exposed, however, was not the lack of clothing, but the sofuckingblue eyes that looked at him with such openness, lust and... other emotions he didn't want to think about leaking through the ultramarine orbs.
It was when Naruto sank to his knees and placed the most tender of kisses on his hip that Sasuke realized exactly what he was failing to control. He had been an idiot; how could he have thought he could deny it? Carnal desires were one thing, but this desire for - intimacy - was a hole he had ignored too long inside of himself, something that had began to form the day his family had been slaughtered. Something he veiled well enough around everyone, except Naruto. And now the blonde was feeding it, and fuckinghell Naruto's body was so very warm even his hands ebbed away the cold Sasuke always felt.
Every single thought flew out the window when Sasuke suddenly felt the wet, hot mouth surround him. He arched his back and dug his fingers into tan shoulders, holding on as if his greatest fear was having Naruto disappear. His cock was swelling so much it hurt, and he knew he was dripping out of his slit, right onto Naruto's tongue.
The thought caused his head to snap back as a wave of lust crashed through his body. He couldn't open his eyes, he knew, because then he would see Naruto looking up at him with those blueblueblue eyes, his mouth full of Sasuke, and it would all be over much too soon. Oh but he wanted, he wanted to see hollow cheeks and swollen lips, and he wanted to see that it was Naruto. For a fleeting, stupid moment he wanted to see that face every day, the bright smile that lived on Naruto's expressive mouth, and blueblueblue eyes. He pushed the desire down.
Blots of pleasure danced through his body, burning through his nerves like acid. His voice was needing and whimpering, something he had never ever wanted to hear, but because it was being caused by Naruto it was okay, he could forgive that.
The suction on his erection doubled while en enthusiastic tongue lapped at the underside. The accidental scrapping of teeth was always soothed quickly with an apologetic kiss, wet and sloppy on his cock.
He had to see this, he had to. He wanted to etch this memory into his mind permanently, something, anything to replace those confusing dreams of bright smiles and cheerful laughs that left him so inexplicably hard when he woke. He opened his eyes and looked down, noticing that only one hand was being used on Sasuke, and the other-
Sasuke howled like an animal as he came, spurting his pleasure down Naruto's throat while his hips went crazy with erratic thrusts. Watching Naruto stroking himself while sucking off Sasuke was the most erotic sight he had ever seen, and it left his body quivering uncontrollably as it forcefully pushed out his release, draining him of an unfair amount of energy.
It was perfect.
Sasuke heard groaning, followed by a wetness that wasn't his squirting on his leg. His knees gave out, the tender skin on his back dragging down the rough stonewall as he fell into Naruto. Tan arms wrapped loosely around his shoulders for a moment, an almost embrace that Sasuke didn't have the energy to shake off. Besides, Naruto was warm. He didn't mind soaking that up for a little while.
Just as he was about to lift his arms, ready to return the almost embrace with a loose placing of his own arms around the body pressed into his chest, Naruto shifted, standing up. He could see bits of dirt and gravel digging into the blonde's knees as he began pulling on those awful orange pants.
There was a hotness in the back of his skull as Sasuke grabbed for his own clothes. He pushed all feeling of irritation towards Naruto, because there was no reason for Sasuke to feel irritated with himself. He couldn't care less that the blonde was leaving him. It was time to go. Time to continue on with their lives.
Sasuke...
He turned at his name, surprised when a warm hand dragged across his check down his jaw to rest at the back of his neck. Naruto pulled him in for a tender kiss.
Up until know, Sasuke had never understood what the phrase 'body melting' really meant, but oh, he did now because that was exactly what his body was doing. Melting. Shoulder sagging, toe curling, sigh inducing melting.
If only he could look at the situation in a detached way, like he usually does, he would probably laugh at himself in this instance. Oh how the mighty have fallen
Naruto pulled back, his lips moving to whisper something in his ear before the warmth of the tan body was gone. Sasuke stayed there for a beat, just standing in the empty alley before he finished dressing.
Outside in the street he could see the sun had started to set, bathing the world in a comforting orange light. He fought down a smile on his lips.
I'll be seeing you around, Sasuke.
Pulling out the white napkin from the ramen place that had been slipped into his hand, he glanced at the name of the town scribbled on it in Naruto's messy hand. It was just as civilian as the one he currently stood in.
Yes, he thought, wanting to whistle as he walked towards the town exit. He would make sure of it.
