If you are reading this, this is another brand new Naruto
story for adultfanfiction and like
my last story; this is just another story that�s popped into my head that I
want to get rid of. However, I�m not stopping my �Children of Foxes and Snakes� story, so, don�t worry.

Story Summary: Like my last story, this will be story where
Naruto is betrayed by the Hidden
Leaf Village,
but unlike the last story, Sakura doesn�t betray Naruto. In fact, she becomes
Naruto�s greatest supporter other than Hinata, Tsunade, and Kakashi. The
betrayal is set up by Danzo, former leader of the ROOT unit that was disbanded
by the Third Hokage before he died. He wanted Naruto when the Nine-Tailed Fox
was sealed by Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage and Naruto�s father, to turn him
into the ultimate weapon, but the Third Hokage made sure that didn�t happen.
When Danzo witnessed Naruto controlling the Nine-Tailed Fox�s chakra on his
own, he felt that Naruto had become too powerful to ever control and a threat
to his plan. He needed a way to get rid of him and the majority of the village
namely mistrusting him helped Danzo in that matter. When Naruto failed to bring
back Sasuke Uchiha, he got his chance. However, Sakura managed to overhear
Danzo and was horrified to learn this. She was sad that Naruto didn�t bring
Sasuke back, but Sakura knew that Naruto tried his best and nearly died in the
attempt. When Sakura tells this information to Tsunade, she was horrified to
learn this as well. But Sakura doesn�t know why this is happening to Naruto or
why most of the village hated him so much. When Sakura learned the truth about
Naruto and the Nine-Tailed Fox, this didn�t cause her to betray him at all. In
fact, Sakura wept for Naruto and supported him more than ever. However, there
was nothing Sakura, Tsunade, Kakashi, or any of Naruto�s friends, especially
Hinata, who loves him, can do. Even with support from the Hyuga clan, the
leader, Hiashi, knows the truth about Naruto and his secret heritage, Naruto is
forced to leave the village.

Sakura is totally depressed and distraught, feeling it was
her fault with her unable to stop Sasuke from leaving, and asking Naruto to
bring him back. Naruto nearly died by Sasuke�s hands in the attempt to get him
back and her crush and one of her best friends, Naruto, was gone from her life.
However, Sakura�s mom was against Naruto, thinking he and the Kyuubi were one
in the same, and this caused Sakura and her mom to totally drift apart. Sakura
becomes Tsunade�s student to help bring Sasuke back and help Naruto when they
meet up again which cause Tsunade and Sakura to become close as Sakura and her
mom grow apart. However, learning more about the battle between Naruto and
Gaara to save her from Temari and Sasuke�s betrayal of the village causes
Sakura to gain mixed feelings about Naruto and Sasuke causing confusion in her
heart about who she cares about with Naruto�s burden of the Nine-Tailed Fox
being within him, which allows Sakura to figure out why the majority of people
in the village hating him so much though she is disgusted at them for treating
Naruto the way he was treated, amazed how Naruto ended up the way that he did,
and finally, learning about Naruto being the son of the Fourth Hokage! And from
his mother, the last of the Uzumaki clan, and Minato, the last of the Namikaze
clan, Naruto has SEVERAL Kekkai Genkai.

From his father, Minato, the Fourth Hokage, Naruto gained
the �Celestial Embodiment� Kekkai Genkai, one of the most powerful Kekkai
Genkai, which allowed the welder to gain other ninja�s abilities by taking a
piece of their DNA, through blood, skin, hair, etc, through their skin, and
that include other Kekkai Genkai, Sharingan, Byakugan, and various others with
Naruto welding the Kekkai Genkai as he was part of the clan it came from. From
his mother, Naruto gained �Animal Embodiment� Kekkai Genkai, which allowed him
to adopt animal traits into him similar to those Kiba�s clan, but this Kekkai
Genkai allowed Naruto to have multiple animal traits within him and �activate�
or �deactivate� them at all, but there is a limit. Naruto can only have three
�animal traits� active at one time or he will go �feral� with him losing his
�human conscious mind� making him more animal, going on instinct alone, than
human and he might not be returned to normal. This Kekkai Genkai also have
other �uses� and �traits�, but they are used in �other fashions� outside of the
battlefield if you know what I mean. Plus, his mother somehow had the First
Hokage�s Kekkai Genkai, Mokuton, and she passed it on to Naruto. However,
Naruto won�t be all powerful, but it does mean that he will have various
�options� and �tricks� up his sleeves.

Around two years since Naruto was banished from the Hidden Leaf
Village, Naruto�s friends
have become much stronger, Sakura has become close to Hinata and Tsunade, who
were really close to Naruto, and she has become distant from her mother.
Tsunade is still Hokage, but she has various problems from the council though
Danzo doesn�t know that Tsunade knows about why he was the one central to Naruto�s
banishment from the village using his inability to get Sasuke back as an
excuse. However, Tsunade doesn�t know about Danzo�s plans, so much as how deep
they will go. Speaking of which, Sakura and Kakashi with Hinata�s team under
Kakashi�s temporary command since Kurenai is pregnant (A/N: Sorry to you,
Kurenai/Naruto fans.) with Asuma�s child manage to meet up with Naruto after
these past years and Sakura is amazed at the intense progress he has made with
incredible new abilities including his various Kekkai Genkai, ninja skills, and
his �looks�. Naruto is amazed with Sakura�s progress too with Kakashi, Tsunade,
Shizune, Kurenai, and even Anko helping her out though Sakura has gained just
as good new �look� if you know what I mean.

Soon after, Naruto learns what has happened in the Hidden
Leaf Village since he was banished and the gang learns of Naruto�s new
�connections� including alliances with the Sand Village with Gaara as the
Kazekage, Princess Koyuki and the Land of Snow, and . . . gasp . . . Naruto�s
mother?! That�s right, Naruto�s mother, Kushina Uzumaki, is alive when it was
thought that she was dead giving birth to Naruto! You see, after giving birth
as she was dying, Kushina manage to perform a jutsu that put her into a
death-like state while keeping her alive and soon after, she was taken away and
was healed enough to stay alive, but she was in a deep coma for many years
until sometime just after Naruto was banished from the Leaf Village.

Well, the group didn�t have much time to think about that as
Naruto and Sakura manage to find Sasuke and his new �Snake� team after
betraying Orochimaru with Sasuke killing him when he turned Orochimaru�s own
Immortality Jutsu against him. While Naruto had to deal with members of
Sasuke�s �Snake� team, Sakura went off and tried to convince Sasuke to return
home, but Sasuke bashes Sakura into the ground and he tells her that even
though Sakura was a former comrade and friend, he NEVER loved Sakura at all and
consider her just another fan-girl before he joined with her and Naruto on Team
7. Sakura had her heart crushed and she felt incredibly low. Naruto managed to
overhear this after taking care of Sasuke�s new team and goes into a heated
battle with his former comrade. Sasuke is stunned and shocked at Naruto�s new
abilities and power and even through he manages to counter Naruto here and
there, Sasuke is forced to pull back with his team. On the meanwhile, the
others come and Naruto tells what happened. On the meanwhile, Sakura is greatly
depressed after learning that Sasuke never loved her and the Sasuke that she
knew is gone causing her to get drunk on sake. When Naruto helps the depressed
Sakura back to her room, Sakura seduces Naruto in her drunken state and they
�go to bed� together for that night. The next morning, when Sakura releases
what she did with Naruto, she is horrified at herself for what she did and
Sakura prayed that Hinata didn�t find out because she knew how she felt about
Naruto.

However, Hinata will find out soon enough, but not before
the Nine-Tailed Fox comes into play. Kyuubi manages to get Sakura to enter
Naruto�s mind and confronts her with revealing its human form and revealing
that Kyuubi is a SHE demon! The female Kyuubi makes Sakura an offer: Kyuubi
will help Sakura gain even more power to protect the ones that she cared about,
including Naruto, but there was a price. The price was that she take on her
�special mark� and she becomes one of Naruto�s �mates� with Sakura being
required to protect, care, and love him for the rest of their lives as well as
do anything for the Kyuubi�s �jailer� including in whatever he needs to rebuild
his clan.

But there is more problem with the Akatsuki and their plans
for world domination through the use of undermining the Hidden Villages
and the use of the Tailed Demons, which is why Itachi and Kisame went after
Naruto in the first place. Plus, there are problems within the Hidden Leaf
Village and it focuses on
the plans of Danzo as the center focuses this. Needless to say, there is going
to be a lot of action, adventure, mystery, secrecy, romance, and a lot more
complexity.

Legacies

Chapter 1: Dealings
and Banishments

(At the Valley of Ends; as the battle between Sasuke and
Naruto concludes)

As we enter the area of the Fire Country at the Valley of
the Ends, we find Naruto, in his �One-Tailed� state, charging Sasuke Uchiha, in
his Curse Seal Stage Two form, with a demonic powered Rasengan in his right hand while Sasuke has his right hand charged
with a dark Chordi and when the two
of them collide with each other, they strike with their full power and call out
their attacks.

�Rasengan!�

�Chordi!�

The two attacks collide with terrific force and creating a
huge black sphere of energy that creates chaos in the area and causing a lot of
damage to the area. Naruto struck Sasuke�s headband while Sasuke struck Naruto
in the chest through not in a fatal fashion while the giant black sphere of
energy fades away. When the black sphere has faded, the dust and dirt clear to
see a badly injured and weary Sasuke standing over an unconscious Naruto. His
damaged headband falls from his forehead and lands near Naruto. Sasuke just
stares at Naruto for a minute and doesn�t say a word.

Sasuke says, lowly, �Naruto . . .� Sasuke then shakes his
head and he says, lowly, �No . . . I won�t . . . I won�t lose control to him .
. . I will prove myself better and find a better way to gain the Mangekyo . . .
and Naruto . . . you are his target . . . I still need you . . . you are my
only link to HIM . . . I did enough . . .� Sasuke then slowly, but surely takes
off into the woods. Within a few minutes, Kakashi and Pakkun arrive on the
scene and they gasp to find the unconscious Naruto lying down on the ground.

Pakkun says, lowly and horrified, �Oh no.�

Kakashi says, lowly and solemnly, �We�re too late.� Kakashi
goes over to Naruto�s unconscious form, puts him into his arms, and Pakkun goes
over to sniff Sasuke�s fallen headband.

Pakkun says, with a solemn tone, �It�s Sasuke�s.�

Kakashi picks up the headband and he says, solemnly, �Naruto
. . . I�m sorry.� Kakashi puts Sasuke�s fallen headband into his pocket and he
tells Pakkun, solemnly, �There is nothing more that we can do. Let�s get Naruto
back to the village.�

Pakkun says, with a nod, �Right.� Soon after, Kakashi, with
the unconscious Naruto in his arms, and Pakkun leap back into the trees and
heads back into the village.

Kakashi thinks in his mind, solemnly, �Naruto must have fought an incredible battle to stop Sasuke, but in
the end, Sasuke�s lust for power and revenge managed to win the day.
Personally, with Naruto, I think Sasuke barely beat Naruto. If only Minato or
Kushina was still alive, then Naruto could have easily beaten Sasuke. If
Naruto�s hidden abilities were unleashed and he had his mother and father to
help in his training, Naruto would have easily defeated Sasuke without needing
a bit of the Nine-Tailed Fox�s chakra. Minato-sensei . . . Kushina-san . . .
forgive me . . . I have failed your son.� As Kakashi and Pakkun return to
the village with the unconscious Naruto in tow, images of the Fourth Hokage
flow into Kakashi�s mind. However, what Kakashi didn�t know is that distance
figures that are somehow masking themselves from even the legendary �Copy
Ninja� and focusing their sights on Naruto.

One of the figures says, with a serious tone, �So, the
Uchiha has betrayed the village for power.�

Another figure says, with a serious tone, �It is not
surprising. Itachi and Sasuke are more alike than they would admit, especially
Sasuke. However, Kushina-sama wouldn�t like to hear what has happened if she
was awaken.�

The first figure says, seriously, �However, from what we
heard, she might prove more spiteful from what we have learned. The village
will soon betray Minato-sama�s son. And one of their own council could lead to
its destruction, but we must make sure that Kushina-sama�s and Minato-sama�s
clans survive and that means we must ensure Naruto-sama�s safety.�

The second figure says, nodding its hooded head, �Yes. Plus,
it is good that we got Jiraiya-sama�s aid in that regard. But do you think that
it is a good time for Naruto-sama to learn of his heritage.�

The first figure says, with a solemn tone, �Ready or not,
Naruto-sama will learn of his bloodlines and most likely, it won�t be from us.�
The second figure nods its hooded head in agreement and the group of cloaked
figure vanish with ninja super-speed.

(A day after Sasuke�s
betrayal; in the streets of the Hidden Leaf Village)

One day after the battle between Sasuke and Naruto ended, we
find a certain pink-haired kunoichi walking through the streets of the Hidden Leaf
Village with a solemn
look on her face. When she learned that Naruto and the others sent to get
Sasuke back had returned without Sasuke and Sakura learned of Naruto�s
condition after the battle, Sakura became solemn not only because Sasuke is
gone, but she blames herself for asking Naruto to get him and not going with
him.

Sakura thinks in her mind, solemnly, �I�m such a bitch! Why did I ask Naruto to get Sasuke and not go with
him? I stayed behind like a weak little girl while Naruto and the others did
all that work to get Sasuke-kun back. Some ninja I turned out to be . . .
Staying back in the village and making Naruto and the others do all the work.
And Naruto . . . he looks like a mummy! He was so badly wounded! He must have
tried his hardest to get Sasuke-kun back and now, look at him! Naruto, he . . .
he could have died trying to fulfill that promise of yours! Why did I make him
promise to bring him back?! Damn it! I�m such a pathetic ninja! Damn it! Damn
it! Damn it! Naruto risked his life and I didn�t do a thing to help him at
all!� Sakura then slams her fist into a nearby wall and she says, lowly and
solemnly, �I am such a pathetic bitch.�

Just then an adult male voice calls out, strongly, �He has
to taken out of the picture right now!�

Another adult male voice exclaims, seriously, �But sir . .
.!�

The first male adult voice yells out, strongly, �No, buts!
You saw what he did during the Chunin Exams, didn�t you?! He has grown too
powerful! He is too powerful for us to control!� Sakura walks over to a nearby
corner and looks over to see two adult males talking and one of them Sakura
recognizes as a member of the Leaf
Village�s council, Danzo.

Sakura thinks in her mind, curiously, �That�s a member of the council! His name is Danzo!�

Danzo tells the other adult male, who is wearing a uniform
similar to Leaf Village�s elite ANBU, �The boy has
harness the power of that �thing� inside of him of his own free will without
that �thing� controlling him in the least! He has grown too power!�

The other adult male nods his head and he says, seriously,
�You�re right, sir! He needs to be taken out of the picture, but he is under
close guard!�

Danzo says, seriously, �I know that! Our current Hokage,
Tsunade, has gotten too close to him and she cares about that brat! As long as
he is under her protection and continues to get more powerful, he will surely
get control of the power of that �beast� sealed within him.�

The other adult male asks, perplexed, �But I thought that
those monsters are too powerful to control . . . even when they are sealed in
humans! What makes this kid so different?�

Danzo holds up a picture to the adult male�s face and he
says, seriously, �Because he is HIS son! That�s why!� The other adult male
gasps in shock and Danzo says, angrily, �Damn him! That Third Hokage! If he let
me get my hands on him, I would have created the strongest weapon this village
has even known! He would have gained power over that beast within him and the Leaf Village
would have rained supreme over the other Hidden Village,
but no, he let his damn feelings get and kept the boy from me! And now, he is
too powerful to be put under my control!� Danzo tells the other adult male,
�Did you see the reports on this kid? He has mastered A-level jutsu that took
years to develop!�

The adult male says, with a nod, �Yes! If he continues to develop, he will
surely harness that beast�s power and become one of the strongest ninja in the
world.�

Sakura thinks in her mind, stunned, �Who are they talking about? Sounds like this person has incredible
potential!�

Danzo says, seriously, �And most likely, with Tsunade-sama�s
support, he will become the Sixth Hokage and that brat, with his father�s
nature, will surely go against all of my plans and all that I worked for that
the Third didn�t take away will be lost! We can�t let him stay in the village!�

The adult male asks, curiously, �How will we get rid of him?
We can�t have him executed just for failing this mission! And Lady Hokage won�t
allow it, so, how will we get rid of that fox brat?�

Danzo says, with a sly smile, �Right. Too much of a
political headache, but we can have him exiled for failing and since most of
the village hates this brat, no one would ever miss him! Plus, with that damn
Third gone, the council has mainly people, ninja and civilian, which would
easily support him getting thrown out!�

The adult male says, with an evil sly tone, �That�s a good
idea, sir.� The adult male says, concerned, �But wait! What if he comes back to
seek revenge?�

Danzo says, with a sly grin, �Don�t worry about it. He is
too much like his damn father. He is too kind-hearted and caring to even become
someone like the Uchiha. It is his weakness while he would never make as a
ninja without the help of others. And that�s why the Uchiha is superior to that
brat.� Danzo says, with an evil sly smile, �And with all the pain and suffering
that the village has caused him, this final bit of grief will send him away for
good and he will be out of our hair. Goodbye . . . Naruto Uzumaki.�

Sakura gives a silent mental gasp and she thinks, horrified
while hiding herself again, �Naruto?!
They are going to throw Naruto out of the village?! I�ve got to tell Lady
Hokage!� Immediately, Sakura uses her ninja agility and speed to leap onto
the rooftops and bound away.

The adult male says, with an evil sly grin, �Shall I stop
that little Genin?�

Danzo says, with a sly smile, �No. She is worthless and not
worth the effort. Besides, she is the daughter of woman that hates that �demon
brat� so we can�t do anything to her. Plus, there is nothing that she can�t do.
Not even the Hokage can stop this and the word of one Genin won�t do a thing.�

(Inside of the
Hokage�s office; Sometime later)

Within the Hokage�s office, Tsunade, sitting at her desk,
and Shizune, standing beside Tsunade, listen to Sakura as she tells of the
conversation between Danzo and the other adult male. When she was done, Tsunade
gives off a major pissed off look and Shizune gives off a horrified look.

Tsunade yells out, angrily, �Damn it! I should have known
that asshole would try something like this!�

Sakura tells Tsunade, �Lady Hokage, can you do something?�

Tsunade says, with a sigh and a solemn tone, �I wish that I
could, but I can�t.�

Sakura yells out, stunned, �What do you mean that you
can�t?!�

Tsunade tells Sakura, in a serious tone, �If I could do
something then, I would! Naruto is the very reason that I took this job,
Sakura! I would do anything for him, but right now, I can�t! I might be the
Hokage, but there are some things that I can�t do. The council has plenty of
power in this village and if there is something that they want to do, I can�t
stop them! And with the way that the majority of people feel about Naruto, even
after all that he did for them, there will be major support for this decision
especially since most of the council is against Naruto and they, especially
Danzo, were looking for an excuse to get rid of Naruto one way or another. If
they want to banish Naruto, I can�t fucking stop them and I know that the
testimony of one Genin won�t help in matters.� Tsunade says, with a solemn
tone, �I�m sorry, Sakura.�

Sakura tells Tsunade, with a solemn tone, �I understand, Tsunade-sama.� Sakura
asks Tsunade, �By my lady, I don�t understand why the people of the village
hate him so much and why people like my mother tell me to stay away from him.
Sure, he is a prankster, but that doesn�t make him a monster. Why do they hate
Naruto so much?�

Shizune and Tsunade become nervous and Shizune says,
nervously, �Well, Sakura . . .�

Sakura says, seeing the nervousness in their expressions,
�You know something! Please tell me so I can understand! I might be able to
help! I already lost Sasuke-kun, but I can�t lose one of my friends either!�

Shizune tells Sakura, �Sakura-chan, this isn�t an easy thing
to speak about.�

Sakura asks, seriously, �What�s so hard about it? I�m one of
Naruto�s friends! I deserve to know!�

Tsunade sighs and she says, seriously, �You�re right,
Sakura. You do have the right to know. However, like Shizune told you, this
isn�t a thing to be spoken of. However, in light of this �affair�, you need to
know Naruto�s �dark secret�.�

Sakura asks, perplexed, �Dark secret?�

Tsunade tells Sakura, with a serious tone, �Sakura, do you
remember about the Nine-Tailed Fox?�

Sakura says, with a serious tone, �Everyone knows that
story, my lady! Around thirteen years ago, this huge Nine-Tailed Fox demon came
to our village and started destroying everything! It was thought to be
unstoppable until the Fourth Hokage gave up its life to kill it.�

Tsunade tells Sakura, with a serious tone, �That�s what you
and those that aren�t old enough to remember what really happened were told. In
fact, the truth is, the Fourth Hokage couldn�t kill the Nine-Tailed Fox. It was
a great power that couldn�t be destroyed. All the Fourth Hokage could do was
seal the demon within a child: A new born baby to be more precise.�

Sakura gasps in shock and yells out, stunned, �A baby?! Who
is this baby? And what does this have to do with Naruto?�

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, �You are a smart girl,
Sakura, but if you need a clue. The day the Nine-Tailed Fox was sealed was the
day that Naruto was born.� Sakura is confused for a moment and then she puts
two and two together causing her to get a stunned look.

Sakura says, stunned, �No way. You mean that the Nine-Tailed
Fox is in . . . is in . . .�

Tsunade says, with a serious tone and finishing for Sakura,
�Sealed within Naruto, Sakura. And that�s why they hate Naruto so much. They
compare Naruto to the Nine-Tailed Fox.�

Sakura asks, perplexed, �Huh?� Inner Sakura then calls out, �Cha!
What the hell are those people thinking?! I mean does Naruto look like a huge
village destroying demon?! Come on here! Cha!� Sakura tells Tsunade,
seriously, �Lady Tsunade, they can�t be serious! I mean Naruto doesn�t act a
thing like that huge monster that nearly destroyed our village years ago!�

Tsunade says, with a sigh, �I know, but they think that
Naruto is the Nine-Tailed Fox reborn.�

Sakura says, horrified, �Naruto might have that thing inside
of him, but that gives them no right to treat him like that monster!�

Tsunade says, with a solemn tone, �Most of the village won�t
agree with you, Sakura. They act out of fear of what they don�t understand and
anger towards the Nine-Tailed Fox for the death for the Fourth Hokage and all
of the villagers that it killed so long ago.�

Sakura states, seriously, �But that isn�t fair! Naruto
doesn�t deserve such treatment and why him?! Why did the Fourth Hokage seal
that �thing� in him?!� Shizune and Tsunade look at each other and Shizune nods
her head at some kind of unsaid agreement.

Tsunade looks at Sakura and she tells her, seriously, �I
will tell you why, Sakura, but you must promise me that you will keep this
information to yourself and not tell anyone. And I mean it! If this information
ever got out, Naruto would be in more danger than ever before! Promise me!�

Sakura says, with a serious and determined tone, �I will!
I�ll keep it! I promise!�

Tsunade says, with a nod and serious tone, �Good. You see,
Sakura, the reason why that the Fourth Hokage sealed the Nine-Tailed Fox within
Naruto is because Naruto is the only chance that demon could ever be contained.
And that�s because Naruto is . . . the Fourth Hokage�s son.�

Sakura states, stunned, �The Fourth Hokage�s son?!�

Shizune says, with a serious tone, �That�s right,
Sakura-chan. You see, Minato Namikaze, Naruto�s father and the Fourth Hokage,
secretly married Kushina Uzumaki, Naruto�s mother, the last of the Uzumaki clan
from the Whirlpool country. Their marriage was kept so secret because the
Fourth is very famous and very infamous as well. He has made a lot of enemies
and can you imagine what would happen if these enemies found out that Fourth
had a son and wife.�

Sakura says, with a serious tone, �They would use them to
get to the Fourth Hokage!�

Tsunade says, with a serious tone, �That�s right,
Sakura-chan. Or they would take their revenge against the Fourth against Naruto
since he is the son of Minato and Kushina. You see why this information needs
to be kept secret even more than the Nine-Tailed Fox within Naruto.�

Sakura says, seriously, �I will protect with my life.�

Tsunade says, with a nod, �That�s good. Thank you.�

Sakura says, with a nod, �It is no problem at all, my lady.
However, I think that Danzo knows about it.�

Tsunade says, with a snarl, �Not surprising. He must have
wanted to turn Naruto into his greatest weapon because of the Nine-Tailed Fox
and his special Kekkai Genkai.�

Sakura says, stunned, �Kekkai Genkai? Naruto has a Kekkai
Genkai?�

Shizune says, a bit nervously, �Actually, Sakura-chan,
Naruto has three Kekkai Genkai. Two from his mother and one from his father.�

Sakura yells out, stunned, �Huh?! Then why haven�t I seen
Naruto use some kind of special skill like Sasuke-kun?!�

Tsunade says, seriously, �They were sealed when the
Nine-Tailed Fox was sealed within him to keep his identity safe until he was
old enough! However, in order for him to survive out there, we will need for
his Kekkai Genkai to be unlocked.�

Sakura asks Tsunade, �What are his Kekkai Genkai?�

Tsunade replies, seriously, �His mother had two Kekkai
Genkai and one of them was the rare Kekkai Genkai held by my grandfather, the
First Hokage. And unlike what happened with my grandfather, Kushina�s Mokuton
passed on to Naruto. Naruto is the last of the Uzumaki and Namikaze clans and
he is the heir to his father�s and mother�s legacies.�

Sakura asks, amazed, �What are they, Tsunade-sama?�

Tsunade tells Sakura, �Kakashi already knows about Naruto�s
heritage, but you must promise me to keep it to yourself. Not even the others
should know until the time is right.�

Sakura says, with a nod, �Okay.�

Tsunade tells Sakura, as she gets up and with a serious
tone, �I�ll tell you on the way. We have to make sure that Naruto is okay and
make sure that he is sent out of the village safely. Hopefully, Jiraiya will
take him with him to ensure that those Akatsuki characters don�t get their
hands on him.�

Sakura asks, curiously, �Is that why Itachi was after
Naruto? For the Nine-Tailed Fox?�

Tsunade says, with a nod, �That�s right. However, since the
fox is sealed within Naruto, if the fox is removed, Naruto will die.�

Sakura gasps in shock and she asks, with a tear down her
right eye, �You mean . . . Naruto has to live with that demon for the rest of
his life?�

Tsunade says, with a solemn tone, �I�m afraid so, Sakura.�
Tsunade says, with a smile, �However, you saw that red chakra in the Chunin
Exams, right? That was the chakra of the fox and Naruto was controlling the
fox�s power without losing himself to it. Naruto will be okay.� Sakura gives a
weak smile and nods her head, but inside, she is solemn.

Sakura thinks in her mind, solemnly, �I can�t believe it! Just because of some stupid fox and peoples� fears
of it, I�m going lose my best friend after I just lost Sasuke-kun to that snake
freak, Orochimaru! Oh, Kami!� Soon after, Sakura, Tsunade, and Shizune head
off to the hospital where Naruto is sleeping and totally unaware of the
terrible fate to befall him.

(The following day;
In front of the main gates of the Hidden Leaf Village)

The following day, we find Sakura, Hinata, Kiba, Shino,
Neji, Lee, Tenten, Ino, Choji, and Shikamaru are assembled with Kurenai, Asuma,
and Guy in front of the main gates of the Leaf Village
and Naruto�s friends have solemn looks on their faces. The rest of Naruto�s
friends have been told about the Nine-Tailed Fox being sealed within Naruto and
all of them have come to accept Naruto for who and what he is. Soon after,
Naruto and Kakashi appear in front of the group with Naruto appearing a bit
dirty.

Hinata asks, stunned, �Naruto-kun, what happened to you?�

Kakashi says, with a plain tone, �The villagers didn�t give
him such a good �sending off�.�

Shikamaru tells Naruto, �Hey, man, Sakura and our senseis
told us about . . . you know.�

Naruto says, with a solemn tone, �Yeah, Granny Tsunade told
me everything. So, now you know.�

Ino says, with her usual tone, �Yeah, Naruto, but that
doesn�t mean that we hate you. We know better. You might have that thing inside
you, but you are not that demon that nearly destroyed our village and the Fourth
Hokage gave his life to seal within you! I don�t get why he choose you out of
all people! What gave our Hokage the right to do this to you?! You were only a
baby!�

Sakura thinks in her mind, seriously, �If you only knew, Ino, it was because Naruto�s dad, the Fourth Hokage,
believed in him! Lady Hokage told me that she told Naruto about his heritage. I
just hope that Naruto doesn�t hate his dad for what he did to him.�

Shino says, with a plain tone, �We might never know until
the time is right.�

Naruto says, with a serious and a bit surprised tone, �You
mean that you don�t hate me.�

Sakura tells Naruto, �Naruto, you dope! We could never hate
you! You might be the number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja, but you are no
demon! In fact, you are the opposite of that demon! Why can�t people see that
you aren�t that fox and you just contain the fox is beyond me!�

Hinata tells Naruto, with a solemn tone, �Naruto-kun, I can
never hate you. You just contain the fox and you will never be the fox.�

Tenten says, with a serious tone, �That�s right! I was
shocked to find out, but I mean I can tell that you are no monster!�

Neji says, with a serious tone, �Indeed. In fact, what
happened at the Chunin Exams should have been proof that you could control the
fox and not let it control you.�

Shikamaru says, with a nod, �No joke, Naruto! This is such a
major drag!�

Naruto says, with a weak smile, �Thanks, guys!�

Sakura tells Naruto, with a weak smile and weak version of
her tone, �N-Now, Naruto, you had better be damn well careful out there. If
anything happens to you before you can fulfill your promise, I�ll really kicked
your butt even if you are a ghost or something!�

Naruto says, with a smile, �Right. Thanks, Sakura.�

Sakura says, with a weak smile, �And when we meet again,
we�re going to find Sasuke together, you hear?�

Naruto says, with a nod, �Believe it!�

Hinata goes over to Naruto and she tells him, weakly,
�N-N-Naruto-kun?�

Naruto asks Hinata, curiously, �Yes, Hinata?� Hinata tries
to form the words in her mouth, but she can�t say it at all. Soon after,
surprising everyone, Hinata kisses Naruto right on the lips and when she
releases from the kiss, Hinata and Naruto gives a wide flush from it.

Sakura feels a pang of jealous and she thinks, curiously, �Why did I feel a bit jealous right now?
Naruto is my best friend like a brother, but why do I still feel a bit jealous
from that kiss?�

Hinata tells Naruto, flush in her cheeks, �I-I�m sorry, but
I wanted to wish you luck.�

Naruto says, with a smile and flushed cheeks, �T-Thanks,
Hinata. That was a great �good luck�.� Naruto takes off his headband and gives
it to Hinata. Naruto tells Hinata, with a smile, �Hinata, I want you to hang
onto this until I come back for it. Can I count on you to keep it safe?�

Hinata says, with a nod and blush, �Y-Yes.�

Naruto tells Hinata, giving one of his usual smiles, �By the
way, Hinata, I also want you to get stronger until we met again, okay?�

Hinata says, with a nod, �Y-Y-Yes. I will Naruto-kun.� Soon
enough, the rest of Naruto�s friends expect for Sakura say their goodbyes to
Naruto and then Sakura comes up to Naruto.

The two of them stare at each other for a few moments and
Naruto tells Sakura, �Sakura, I�m sorry about . . .�

Sakura tells Naruto, with a weak smile, �Naruto, you did
your best. I know that you tried your best. I guess that Sasuke-kun was so
consumed by revenge that we just took second place in his life. And like I
said, we will find him together next time.� Just then Sakura does something
unexpected and hugs Naruto.

Naruto blushes and he says, stunned, �S-Sakura?�

Sakura tells Naruto, softly, �You had better be careful out
there, Naruto. I already lost Sasuke-kun. I don�t want to lose you.� Sakura
releases from her embrace with Naruto and they look at each other eye to eye.

Naruto tells Sakura, with his usual smile, �Don�t worry,
Sakura! I�ll be just fine! Believe it!�

Sakura says, with a smile, �We all believe you.� Sakura
kisses Naruto on his forehead and she tells him, with a kind smile, �Stay safe,
Naruto. For all of us.�

Naruto says, with a nod, �I will. I promise. And I will
never go back on my word. That�s my ninja way.�

Kakashi tells Naruto, �Jiraiya is waiting some distance
away. We should go before those . . . villagers come here.�

Naruto says, with a nod and a serious tone, �Right.� Soon
after, Naruto and Kakashi take off into the distance to meet with Jiraiya and
all of them watch them go until they are out of sight.

Hinata thinks in her mind, while clutching Naruto�s
headband, �Don�t worry, Naruto-kun! I
will get stronger! I promise! I won�t hide and I won�t run anymore! I will get
stronger for you!�

Sakura thinks in her mind, strongly, �Never again! I will help Tsunade-sama to get you back home, Naruto!
And next time that we go find Sasuke-kun, we will do it together! You won�t do
it alone! I will get stronger! For Sasuke-kun! For you! I will never have to
hang back while you risk your life, Naruto! I will risk my life with you! I
will have Tsunade-sama train me!�

(Some distance from Hidden Leaf
Village; On the meanwhile)

Some distance from the Leaf Village, we find one of the
three Legendary Sanin, Jiraiya the Toad Sage, looking in the direction of the
village and the black cloaked figures that were watching Kakashi take the
unconscious Naruto in the aftermath of his battle with Sasuke in the Valley of
End some days ago.

One of the black cloaked figures tells Jiraiya, �Lord
Jiraiya, Naruto-sama has left the village.�

Jiraiya says, with a serious tone, �I see. Does he know
about his heritage?�

The black cloaked figure says, with a nod and serious tone,
�Yes, he does. Tsunade-sama told him.�

Jiraiya says, with a serious tone, �I see. So, most likely,
his bloodlines must have been unsealed and awakened.�

The black cloaked figure asks, curiously, �Will Naruto-sama
reclaim what is his birthright?�

Jiraiya says, with a serious tone, �It won�t be too easy,
but the kid will find a way to get back what is his. I just hope that he will
be ready when it is time.� Jiraiya thinks in his mind, �Kid, I hope that you are ready for what you have to train for because
what you will have to do will make training to master the Rasengan will seem
like a walk in the park.� As Jiraiya continues to think, he looks towards
the mountainside where the faces of the Hokages are craved, including Naruto�s
father, the Fourth Hokage, and Jiraiya if Naruto will do what he claimed to do
and succeed his father . . .

Reunion and New Surprises

Well, this is it! This is the first chapter of a brand new
story! And like I said, Sakura is going to be supporting Naruto this time, so,
I�m sorry to you anti-Sakura and Sakura-bashing fans, but Sakura is going to be
a �good person� this time. Personally, I�m not anti-Sakura and anti-Sasuke
personally. I support the characters and when I make them �look bad�, it is not
because that I don�t like them, it is because I need them to be that way. And
in this story, Sasuke will seem cold and cruel, but he won�t some kind of
�super-evil� like Orochimaru and when he regrets Sakura�s love for him, he
won�t be really nasty about it. He will . . . well, Sasuke Uchiha. Anyway, tell
