Sasuke stared at the ceiling of his room while laying in bed, thinking about his recent encounter with his old rival, Naruto. He didn’t understand at first. When he first saw those blue eyes staring up at him, he felt his breath catch in his throat. He recalled how is body surged with emotions so new to him as he stared back into those blue pools.

Sasuke sighed as he recalled how Naruto's expression held so much longing and sadness as he disappeared with Orochimaru and Kabuto. Since then he had spent most of his free time trying to figure out those feelings, and after a few days of solitude, he had finally figured out the answer. Sasuke sat up and brought his legs over the edge of the bed to touch the ground. He stood up and made his way over to a closet in the far corner and grabbed a bag.

Sasuke then went over to his dresser and began grabbing a few items; he placed one in his pocket, and tossed the rest into the bag. After he was done, he slung the bag over his shoulder and walked out his room. Sasuke walked out of Orochimaru’s new hiding place and looked up at the night sky. His eyes filled with sadness as he thought about what he planned to do. But he quickly pushed it down and smirked with the thought of filling the void that he held inside. With one last look at the moon and the stars, he disappeared leaving smoke behind to drift away in the light breeze

Blue eyes slowly fluttered open to look at the star filled sky above. Naruto laid in his sleeping bag content on staying there, but he knew he needed to complete his training if he wanted to get Sasuke back. Naruto sighed and jumped down to the ground below. He landed quietly on his feet and stealthily made his way over to his stuff. He quietly opened his bag and grabbed some clean clothes out of it. He stood up and tip toed his way over to a wooded area. He looked back over his shoulder at Kakashi and Yamato to make sure they were still asleep before entering the small wooded area.

He walked for about ten minutes or so before he found a small clearing.
