Pulling on his apron, Naruto smiled at his new boss, Jiraya as the man gathered some cleaning supplies from the cleaning closet. He had just gotten a new job that would give him time to go to classes during the evenings, and cleaning office buildings. Their main building was the Uchiha building.

“Head on down to the basement and start on that bathroom would you?” Jiraya asked, as he rolled Naruto’s stocked cart over to him.

“Yeah, not a problem,” Naruto chirped, taking his cart and heading for the elevator. Once he was down in the basement, the area mostly storage rooms with the occasional conference room that was out of use, he headed for the bathrooms, starting on the woman’s bathroom.

As he was working on the sinks, a scream pierced the quiet, making Naruto jump, dropping his spray bottle and rag onto the ground. “What was that?” he breathed, hearing another scream, sounding like it was coming from the men’s bathroom next door.

Licking his lips, he walked over to the bathroom and opened the door, finding a pretty male with long hair pulled back into a bun and wide doe eyes that showed just how scared the pretty male was.

“Hey, are you OK?” Naruto asked, taking in the way his clothes were torn and his hair was mussed.

“Someone’s in the toilet!” he yelled, pointing to a stall. “He grabbed at me!” Jiraya appeared in the doorway, eyebrows furrowed.

“Naruto, you okay? What’s going on?” he asked, Naruto yelping as the sinks around the bathroom started to spray water. The pretty male screamed and ran out of the bathroom, crying hysterically. He rushed past Jiraya, running out of the bathroom door.

Naruto swallowed as Jiraya worked to turn off the stalls. He bent over and looked into the one stall that was closed, not spotting any feet in there. “What’s up, Naruto?”

“I don’t know,” Naruto said, pushing open the stall door slowly. It creaked open to just reveal an empty cubical. No one was there…

“That’s weird,” Naruto said, sighing out a sigh of relief, rubbing at the back of his neck as he helped Jiraya turn off the taps.

“What was that all about?” Jiraya asked, shaking his head, silver hair swaying.

“I have no idea, really,” Naruto replied, pointing to the taps. “It was kinda strange. Something freaky caused all the sink taps to turn on.”

“I’ve heard things,” Jiraya mused, rubbing at his chin. “Apparently, years ago in this office building before Itachi Uchiha took over, there was a murder. Took place here in the basement men’s room. Apparently the bathroom is now haunted and the case is still unsolved.”

“I don’t believe in hauntings,” Naruto snorted, shaking his head. “There has to be some reasonable explanation as to why the taps turned on. It wasn’t paranormal, but whatever it was, it sure scared that guy.”

“What guy?” Jiraya asked.

“The guy that was screaming,” Naruto said, giving Jiraya and odd look. “He ran right past you right when the sinks turned on.”

“I…didn’t see any woman,” Jiraya breathed, eyes widening as he paled. “I didn’t hear anyone screaming either. Naruto, you and I are the only ones in the building.”

“Well…fuck…”
