"Haku wait up!"
Hearing his name Haku stopped and turned to face the source. Finding his blonde haired friend running toward him he smiled. Oh, Naruto you are such a ball of energy.
Stopping before Haku Naruto stopped to try and get his breathing back to normal. After a few minutes he stood back up rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment as he smiled at Haku sheepishly. "So Haku, I was wondering if you could give me a bit of advice."
Inclining his head Haku encouraged his friend to continue as he began walking again. Naruto following. He had noticed that Naruto seemed a little flushed and was curious of the reason. "Go on."
"Oh, um. Well you see.." Naruto began nervously trying to find the words he wanted. " I have a friend who thinks they might like one of the people they used to get into fights with. However he doesn't know if he likes them like a friend or something more. "
"Oh, I see." Haku acknowledged in amusement. So Naruto has finally discovered his feeling for Sasuke are not what he thought. Its about time. "And you wish for me to confirm which way he loves him."
"Exactly!" Naruto exclaimed smiling vibrantly. Lowering his voice slightly as he felt the need to explain himself he continued. "After all your one of my only friends who I know have experienced love at its strongest so I just thought you would be the o,e to go to. You know?"
"Of course." Haku confirmed Naruto's words making images of his own love rise. I wonder if Zabuza would like to train tonight after our date. "After all there's a big difference between brotherly love and romantic love. Now tell me how does your friend feel when around this person or thinking about him?"
Naruto flushed as he thought over Hakus words and butterflies began fluttering in his stomach as he thought of Sasuke. "Like a thousand butterflies was flying around in his stomach. "
His reply made Haku smile. That is a on the dot description. "Does he get embarrassed or flustered around them easily? "
"Um, you could say that yea," Naruto muttered feeling his cheeks hit up. Resisting the urge to laugh at his embarrassed friend Haku finished his investigation. "Finally does he feel jealous or hurt when seeing them with another? Or when another tries to get romantically involved with him?"
Naruto cast his gaze upon the ground as he thought back to the Times Sakura or Ino tried to go after Sasuke and remembered the heated feeling that built up inside on him making angry at them, even if he didn't show it. Silently he nodded making Haku internally cheer.
Moving to stand in front of Naruto Haku placed a fragile looking hand on his shoulder making him look at him. Smiling at those wide blue eyes he nodded. "It seems you are In love with Sasuke, Naruto."
Without waiting for Narutos response Haku headed inside, as they had stopped in front of his house. He did have a date with Zabuza after all. Naruto's head snapped up and wide blue eyes stared after him in shock.
How..how did he know?
Later that week
Naruto shuffled in place as he fingered the hem of his long sleeved orange shirt nervously. Surrounding him where many of his friend's who he had given a lift off in their own world's chattering and oblivious to their blonde friends strange demeanor. Yet, everyone went silent as the door of Uchia manor finally opened revealing the Uchia brothers themselves and Deidara, who lived with them ever since his apartment burnt down. Giving them a cool stare Sasuke went on into the living room leaving Itachi to welcome them in which he did with fond amusement. " You all know where everything is by now. "
The group headed into the large mansion, Naruto trailing behind them, to crowd onto the large sofas adorning the living room, that surrounded a flat screen tv. Naruto froze at the entrance as he realized all the spots but one were taken, even the floor was covered with various couples. This left only one seat for Naruto. Right next to Sasuke on the love seat.
Blushing Naruto drew up his famous courage and with a encouraging smile from Haku, who laid cuddled to Zabuza's chest on the floor, he took a seat next to Sasuke.
Then without further a so the lights dimmed and the weekly movie marathon began.
Despite his nervousness Naruto felt himself being drawn into the movie, Sherlock Holmes, and eventually wasn't aware of his surroundings. At least not until pale lips brushed his ear and hot breath hit His skin as a familiar voice whispered. "Do you like the movie Dobe?"
Keeping his eyes on the screen Naruto fought the urge to blush as he spoke. "Y..yea its a good movie. "
"Good." Sasuke smirked as he drew back and leaned back against the couch leaving Naruto baffled for the second time that week.
What was that about?
Later that night
Several hours later the group decided it was time to end the movie marathon and go to bed. Some crashed in the guest rooms they claimed as theirs and others decided to head home. Naruto was one of the ones that opted to go home.
At the door Naruto experienced his most baffling encounter yet as he was met up with Sasuke. "Don't die on your way to your place dobe. We have a date planned to see the second Sherlock Holmes next week."
Just like that he vanished leaving a gaping Naruto behind.
