In the Hokage’s office, Tsunade, using a Henge to look like her original self, is looking at Jiraiya and the two of them are discussing something.

Tsunade asks, curiously, “Are you sure?”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “Based on my information, yes. The Akatsuki have completely vanished.”

Tsunade asks, “Vanished? Don’t you think that they could be lying low?”

Jiraiya says, “That’s what I thought after the attack at the Kazekage, but from what my contacts tell me, the Jinchuirki of the Two-Tails, a kunoichi named Yugito Nii, was attacked by the Akatsuki.”

Tsunade says, “So, they are making another move at another Jinchuirki? It sounds like they got her.”

Jiraiya says, “That’s what the Raikage is convinced of, but some of the evidence doesn’t make sense.”

Tsunade asks, “Make sense?”

Jiraiya says, “From what my contacts can tell me, there is a lot of debris and stuff in which there was a lot of blood and it was confirmed that it didn’t belong to Yugito.”

Tsunade asks, “You mean…the blood belonged to the Akatsuki members that attacked her?”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “Yeah. And then I found out that someone cashed in a bounty for Kakuzu from Takigakure.”

Tsunade asks, surprised, “Hold on! Kakuzu of Takigakure? I know him. He was a ninja from my grandfather’s time? How could be still doing missions?”

Jiraiya says, “From what I heard, he took a prized forbidden technique from his village.”

Tsunade asks, “A technique that extended his life?”

Jiraiya says, “That’s what I think hime. At least until he was taken down.”

Tsunade asks, confused, “Hold on! He was killed?”

Jiraiya says, with a nod, “Yep. It was confirmed. And by the looks of it, he was one of the Akatsuki members that went after Cloud kunoichi.”

Tsunade says, “Well, you said that Cloud makes sure that their Jinchuirki are well-trained and are connected to the Raikage to ensure their loyalty.”

Jiraiya says, “Yeah, it would make sense that she did take down one of the Akatsuki before she was taken down. But someone that cashed in Kakuzu’s bounty…”

Tsunade says, with a nod, “Right.”
