was still numb and frozen. I couldn’t believe he was gone and I would never see him again, or talk to him. I would give anything to hear his voice again, even if it meant I would die to. After he passed and I sat there screaming and crying for about 10 minutes, I told Gaara I would go to the fountain and place him in there. However, James destroyed it during the battle, and there was nothing left. My heart broke even more than it already had, and I was left with the numb feeling that’s still with me. I feel as if someone ripped a hole right through me, and I forgot how to do anything. I can’t talk, I can’t move, I don’t want to any more. My best friend, my brother, is gone from my life like everyone else.
                Gaara and the others haven’t left my side, and they are standing behind me in this big empty room; trying to give me space. I haven’t let go of James’ hand, let alone looked up from his body under the sheet. Every now and again someone would walk up and try to convince me to let go, but I sat there unfazed. I wasn’t ready to leave, and I won’t leave until I am. His hand felt cold and heavy in mine, and I broke down all over again. I haven’t stopped crying since we’ve been back, and I’m not sure if I ever will.
                I felt a pair of arms wrap around me and someone kneel behind me. I knew it was Gaara, and he kissed my head lightly. He didn’t say anything at first, but then after a while he finally spoke. “I know it’s hard beautiful. I’m so sorry… It’s okay” I let myself let out a small cry, and his arms tightened around me. He kissed my head one more time, “I know how to fix this. I need to do something, and I will be back as soon as I can, Alright?”. I could only nod, and I felt empty again when he left me. I heard the door close behind me, and I was alone once again.
                I didn’t even realize a whole night had went by. I was blinded by the sun through the window, and I watched the sun peek over the walls. I had been brewing over this all night, and I knew what I needed to do. I will finish this once and for all. I kissed James’ hand and stood up, giving him one last look, “I love you brother. Watch over me while I do this…and don’t be mad”. I had to add the last part because I knew if he were alive he would be pissed about what I was about to do.
                I walked out of the room quietly and slipped out of the morgue. When I started running to the gate, I could feel a couple more people with me. I looked around to see my team with me, and Adam smiled “You honestly think ere letting you get revenge alone?”. I grinned, and we picked up the pace. We flew out of the gates and toward the only place we knew they would be, and that was Kami’s tomb.
                We walked up to the stone building, and I studied it cautiously. Adam sighed “Alright baby girl here we are. You ready?” I started walking, I didn’t even answer. I was met by barrage of fire rain; which Lynn shield me from and Adam reflected it back to them. I didn’t wait for introductions. I went straight for Yuki. I punched him right in the jaw, and blocked his attempt to hit me back. I threw him against a tree, and went crazy on him for a while. I hit his stomach repeatedly, and then beat his head into the tree. The tree cracked under him, and we had to move to avoid being crushed.
                I threw him against the temple, and he fell to the ground limp. He looked up at me and smiled “Okay I made you mad”. I grabbed his shirt and started punching his face again. I felt my body grow tired, and then he took the chance to block and hit me in the chest. That’s when I saw the Amulet around his neck. I glared “The Amulet of Laos…how did you get that!” He smirked “Don’t worry about that. This is how I killed your brother”. Rage went through me, and I charged for him. This time however, I tried to grab the amulet from him. I felt my body drain, and I couldn’t move fast like I usually do. He knocked me on the ground and froze me, and I growled. He smiled “Just like your brother”. I shot daggers at him, and he continued to wear that shitty smirk on his face.
                His palm formed an ice crystal, and I tried to struggle but couldn’t. Adam came out of nowhere and punched his jaw, making him fly backward and hit the temple again. When he went to break the ice around me he was thrown to the side from a huge bolder. I could see Luke and Lynn fighting Amaya and taking down the dragon, so I knew they couldn’t help. I blamed it all on the damn amulet. I need to take it from him by any means necessary. Yuki stood back up, but this time came at me with full speed. I thought I was fucked, until out of nowhere, Sand wrapped around him, followed by a huge fire ball. The sand wrapped around Yuki and the fire ball and closed, leaving Yuki inside screaming and burning alive. I was confused for a second, and Yuki’s ashes fell to the ground when the sand tomb opened. Everyone on the field was frozen and staring at one specific spot. I slowly followed their gaze and gasped. The ice melted around me from the fire inside the sand. I slowly stood up and watched him walk toward me, and then He wrapped me in a hug. “James…” I whispered, and he smiled “I love you…I’m back”. I started to cry, and held onto him tight.
                “How?!” I demanded, and then Gaara walked out of the shadows. I looked at him, then back at my brother. He sighed “Gaara searched the area for any sign of water left from the pond, but couldn’t find anything”. Gaara finally reached us and James shared a smiled with him. Gaara cleared his throat “During my search, Mr. Kiln came to me and said she was sorry for the loss, and she had something to give me. She handed me a vial of the blue water that was in the pond and told me to bring James back for you. She said after all you have done for the village you don’t deserve to die. So, I ran to the morgue and made James drink the water, and next thing I knew he was alive and as healthy as he was before”.
                I grabbed Gaara and held him tight “That’s where you were all night and day then” he nodded “Yes. I needed to make it better…I hated seeing you like that”. I gave him a light kiss and then hugged my brother again. I couldn’t explain how happy I felt, and how grateful I was to Gaara and Mrs. Kiln. I could feel someone behind me, and I moved in time for Adam to rush James in a huge hug. They laughed and held each other for a minute, then they smiled “I thought you were gone man. You had me hurting!”. We all chuckled, and James apologized.
                I looked around the tomb, and realized the other members of the Akkan was gone. I looked at Yuki’s Ashes and picked up the Amulet. I smiled “This little baby is going to be locked away for good this time”. James walked over to the ashes, and then squinted at them, then he took a deep breath “Shit”. I shook my head “What?” James exhaled and then looked at the tomb “This was a substitution…he isn’t the real Yuki”. I looked closer at the ashes and understood what he was talking about. The ashes were lined with chakra, and whatever was being used as the substitute, was the ashes on the ground instead of his body. I growled and then looked around “Alright, so, where are they?”.
                We decided to take a look inside the temple, and then hopefully find where they are. When we looked around, it seemed like there was people here a while ago, but left a little bit ago. There as clothes and ashes from a cigarette on the ground. In a small room to the right was sleeping bags and some trash here and there. Adam came up next to me “Looks like we just missed them…what do you want to do?”. I looked around one last time and thought about it. I walked towards James and sighed “What do you think?”. He shook his head “To be honest they can’t be that far. I think we could either camp out here and wait it out, or leave a couple of Luke’s warriors around to watch out for them and then alert us”. I didn’t really feel like camping out again. To be honest I didn’t sleep at all last night so I was running on over 20 hours being awake. I felt exhausted, and I could tell everyone else is to.
                I smiled at James and he nodded “Alright then we will leave soldiers around and get some rest. We need to stalk up for the next fight”. We all left the temple and started to walk back to the village. I had Gaara’s hand in mine, and my other arm through James’. I couldn’t thank Gaara enough for what he has done, and he knew I was grateful. I had my best friend and brother back, and it was all because I had an amazing man by my side.
