Chapter 9: Starting the Chunin Exams
A Week Later
Naruto was sitting before the Hokage as he read Hayate’s Mission Report.
“Hayate told me of the incident with Hinata. That is why I’ve had her team out on missions until this matter is settled. Hiruzen said looking at the boy as he pretended to continue reading the mission report. ‘Why is he lying?’ Naruto thought.
“I took Hayate’s word for what happened and his recommendation to have Sasuke removed from the ninja program. However the civilian council voted down the proposal.” Hiruzen was quick to add before Naruto got too excited.
“Let me guess the need for the Sharingan is too great an ‘asset’ to throw away right?” Naruto said flippantly as he stared at the hokage.
“Indeed that was exactly their argument. Even though there was a counter argument that he could die in the field like his cousin did.” Hiruzen said shaking his head at the stupidity of the civilian council.
“What about Haku? It’s been almost two weeks surely there can’t be any more questions that need answering?” Naruto asked.
“What are you talking about?” the Hokage asked surprise written all across his face.
“When we got back to the village the council elders took her saying she was to be taken for routine questioning.” Naruto said his head slightly bent sideways as he looked at the Hokage in confusion.
“Cat get in here!” Hiruzen shouted and in a puff of smoke a purple haired Kunoichi was kneeling before the Hokage.
“Yes Lord Hokage what is your biding?” she asked still kneeling before him.
“Bring me Ibiki and Inoichi from the interrogation bureau.” The Hokage ordered almost yelling.
“As you command Lord Hokage.” Cat said as she disappeared in a burst of smoke.
Five minutes later a tall bald man with a face full of scars and a man who looked like a male version of Ino except for the fringe and boobs walked into the Hokage’s office and stood before him, saluting the hokage as they did.
“You called for us Lord Hokage?” the bald man asked.
“Yes Ibiki I called you and Inoichi in for some information. I need to know if you currently have a girl who looks like this in detention.” He said pointing at Naruto who instantly used a henge illusion to transform into a spitting image of Haku.

“Take us to her now!” Hiruzen ordered as he stood up from his chair and clicking his fingers, in the swirl of six bursts of smoke stood six masked ANBU guards including the purple haired one from before. Five of them jumped in front of the Hokage as they saw Naruto in the chakra cloak.
“Sir get back!” One of them said as he drew forth the katana at his hip.
“Idiots, Naruto is no danger to me, just to Ibiki and Inoichi here if they don’t hurry up and take us to the girl they have in interrogation.” The Hokage face palmed before rolling his eyes at the only ANBU that was laughing as she watched Naruto’s chakra tail swishing backwards and forwards in annoyance.
“Yes sir.” Ibiki said as he turned and left followed by Inoichi, the Hokage and his ANBU guards with Naruto taking up the rear.
Five minutes later Naruto was pushing his way through the door as they were entering the large circular cell that Haku was imprisoned in.
Naruto growled as he saw Haku naked and chained to the far wall. He walked forward and stopped dead in his tracks as she looked up at him. Her face and body were covered in cuts and bruises. She had two black eyes causing her to squint at the newcomers.

The last is for you Haku, this is your payment for the two missions you were a part of.” The Hokage said passing the envelopes to the rightful recipient. “As you probably noticed as you are on probation Haku you will only be paid half of what Naruto is paid. You will only be allowed to go on D-Rank missions and only those in the vicinity of Konoha.” The Hokage said looking between the two teens before getting up and walking towards the door. “Oh by the way Naruto you might want to learn this.” He said turning back towards the sitting blonde and threw a rolled up scroll to him.
“What is it?” Naruto asked looking at the scroll in his hand.
“A silencing seal, place it in a room or building and nobody can hear what goes on within.” The Hokage replied with a raised eyebrow and a smirk at the two blushing teens. “One final thing Naruto your team is still off duty for the next two days.” He finished before opening the door and leaving allowing the door to bang close behind him.
“Two days huh I think I can learn this within two days.” Naruto said as he read the unrolled scroll.
“Leave that for later Naruto, I have something much more fun in mind.” Haku laughed holding the three envelopes full of money.

Two days later Naruto in his full Genin gear was sitting on a bench on the roof of the academy waiting for the rest of his squad to arrive. ‘Come on they can’t all be late? Can they?’ he thought to himself as he looked around the roof and gave a few sniffs of the air.

Is that why you have a bunch of clones practicing them now?” Kurama asked the grinning Naruto who was slightly nodding his head.
‘Here they come.’ He thought as Sakura’s perfumed scent wafted past his nose followed by the scent of Sasuke. He didn’t open his eyes as he heard them coming up the stairs from the academy.
“What did I tell you Sasuke neither of them are here. Kakashi sensei is always late and that idiot Naruto probably got arrested for the monster he is.” Sakura boasted unaware that Naruto was lying down across the bench in front of her. As the two came closer Naruto dispelled all his clones absorbing what they had experienced and the improvements they had made in using the Chakra Chains, the Hiraishin and Moonlight. With the extra experience of his clones Naruto used the Hiraishin to teleport away from the roof to the front of the academy to the swing that was attached to the lone tree as he waited for Kakashi to arrive.
Half an hour later he heard Sakura yelling at Kakashi from the roof. “You’re late again Kakashi sensei.”
‘Typical, just typical why the fuck am I surprised that he by-passed me entirely. He must know that I’m the son of his own sensei?’ Naruto thought as he used the Hiraishin to instantly teleport to the steps leading up to the roof.
He stepped onto the roof and casually walked over to the rest of his Squad.
“Naruto… What are you doing here?” Sakura asked surprised at his entrance. “You’re late we were supposed to be here half an hour ago.” She said trying to hide her surprise.
“I’ve been here for over two hours having lunch with Iruka sensei.” Naruto lied he had only spent half an hour with Iruka which was forty minutes earlier. Naruto walked over to the bench he had been lying on earlier and sat down facing Kakashi.
“So why I have called you here. As you may be aware the Chunin Exams are to start in two weeks. I have decided to put you forward as candidates to take the exams. You will need to fill out these forms and present them to the exam entrance proctor when you arrive to take the first exam.” Kakashi said passing three forms to each of the Genin. “That’s it, oh before I forget because you will be taking the Chunin Exams we will not be taking any missions until the end of the exams.” Kakashi finished before he Shunshined away leaving the three Genins to go their separate ways. Naruto waited until he sensed they had all gone before he used the Hiraishin to teleport to his apartment.
He reappeared in front of his apartment and walked in and closed and locked the door behind him before he walked straight to his bedroom placing the forms on a small bedside cabinet. ‘I wonder where Haku is?’ he quickly thought as he grabbed a change of clothes and walked into the bathroom and quickly started the shower. Quickly he stripped and got in the shower facing away from the open door and sighed in pleasure as the hot water washed over his hair and skin. Two Weeks Later
Naruto walked behind Sakura and Sasuke as they entered the academy and began ascending the stairs to the top floor, the fifth floor.
‘What the hell? We were just on the third floor. Is this a genjutsu or is someone screwing with us?’ Naruto thought as they reached the fourth floor but there was a sign saying this was the fifth floor. Standing in front of them were the other two teams from their academy class and further down was the other Genin team from the border skirmish.
Instantly Sakura and Ino were bickering and drawing a crowd of other young Leaf Genin.
‘Uh none of them realise they’re on the wrong floor.’ Naruto thought face palming before he walked down the corridor. About halfway he stopped when he felt Hinata’s hand grasp his own. He turned his head and looked at her.
“Where are you going Naruto isn’t this the fifth floor?” She asked looking at his almost emotionless face. ‘What’s wrong with him doesn’t he like me?’ she thought even though he was still holding her hand.
“This is the fourth floor; someone is using a genjutsu or something to deceive us, look.” Naruto said as he led her to the staircase and pointed to the sign ‘Floor 5’ on the wall.
“How did you know?” she asked still trying to figure out why she couldn’t sense any emotion from him.
“Easy I don’t feel a fucking thing.” Naruto muttered as he let go of her hand and walked up the stairs. As he walked up the stairs Hinata watched him closely to see what was different about him.
She gasped as he looked back down at her from the top of the stairs. ‘Everything has changed his posture, his eyes, his ears, his whisker marks, and his hands.’ She thought as she looked at the small cuts on her hand.
Standing in front of the exam room was the Genin Squad leaders Kakashi his head in his usual erotica book as he ignored the bowl haired Jonin Might Guy. Across the hall from them were Kurenai and Asuma who were quietly talking though Naruto could hear them. ‘I knew it it’s a test,’ Naruto though shaking his head in amusement as he walked up to stand in front of Kakashi.
“Kakashi sensei what are you guys doing here?” Naruto asked as he stood in front of his Squad leader who barely looked at him as he answered. “To collect your admittance forms and give you the information for entering the exam.” Kakashi replied bored looking from side to side. “Where is the other two?” he asked the blonde.
“Down stairs fooling for whatever genjutsu is being used.” Naruto replied with a shake of his head. “Want me to go get them?” Naruto asked.
“If you wouldn’t mind.” Kakashi answered not even bothering to look up from his book.
Naruto walked back to the stairs and walked straight into Kiba as he ran up the stairs followed by the other Genin. “Hey watch where you’re going freak.” Kiba yelled as he crashed into Naruto.
Everybody stopped dead at the overwhelming wave of killing intent that burst from Naruto. Naruto thrust kick Kiba down the stairs to crash through the opposite wall into a crowded classroom. Naruto drew his katana as he walked down the stairs towards the struggling Kiba. Instantly the four Jonin were surrounding him.
“Naruto stop now.” Kakashi ordered as he stood in front of the angry blonde who clearly had murderous intent in his eyes.
“Move or I will kill you all.” Naruto growled radiating even more killing intent.
“What is wrong with you Naruto you do not threaten your comrades.” Kakashi yelled in the blonde’s face.
Naruto raised an eyebrow as he glared sideways at Kurenai. “Is that so Kakashi sensei am I a comrade now? So I am not the leashed monster the village desires as a weapon to be used, abused and thrown away when the danger to the village has passed. So did your plan work? Did she get pregnant?” He said looking between Hinata and the four Jonin. He could sense and smell that Hinata wasn’t pregnant but his fury and anger was starting to run wild. The only Jonin that had any surprise was Guy who was looking between his fellow Jonin, the blonde boy who was the spitting image of the fourth hokage and the Hyuga heiress.
“Naruto I don’t understand, what plan? You know how I feel you saw it when our minds merged.” Hinata asked and Naruto relaxed a little he could sense the truth from her, she had no idea about the faked kidnapping and its ultimate goal.
“Read this.” He said passing her a folder from his back pack.
“Operation Transference? Naruto what is this?” Hinata asked opening the folder and began to read.
“Your abduction it wasn’t the Hidden Cloud they were all Leaf shinobi.” Naruto said omitting the worse truth.
“Give me that.” Kurenai said ripping the folder from Hinata’s hands and glaring at the blonde.
Naruto just glared back. “I know why you hate me but you can’t face the truth can you? If you can why don’t you tell him?” Naruto said nodding his chin towards Sasuke. When she stayed quiet and looked away Naruto snorted in disgust. “Yeah I didn’t think so. Here Kakashi my exam application forms.” Naruto said thrusting the forms into Kakashi’s chest as he shoved past the four Jonin and walked up to the door of the exam room sheathing his katana as he did so. He opened the door and walked into the exam room not even bothered by the attempted intimidation techniques that were fired his way.
‘So where are these other two Jinchuriki?’ he thought as he searched the room his eyes falling on the red headed sand shinobi he meet earlier in the week. ‘That’s one where is the other?’ he thought still searching the room until his eyes rested on an aqua haired female.
“Is that why you are mad at me?” Hinata asked from behind him.
“I was never angry at you Hinata; in fact I missed you a lot.” Naruto said turning to face her shocked to see tears in her eyes.
She wrapped her arms around his chest and he wrapped his arms around her waist. “I sorry I never meant to hurt you Naruto.” She said resting her head on his chest.
“You’ve changed Hinata you don’t stutter anymore and that’s not the only thing that’s changed.” He said with a raised eyebrow and a smile, happily surprised.
“You’ve changed to.” She replied trying to fight the blush on her face.
“I want you to meet someone.” He said grabbing her hands and placing them on his temples his hands covering her temples.

Hinata was standing in a forest clearing, a stream of light sunshine surrounding her like a halo.
“Excellent it worked.” Naruto said excitedly from behind her. Standing by his side was a wolf sized reddish orange fox with nine tails. “Come on follow me.” He said taking her hand pulling her closer so he could wrap an arm around her waist. “Ok Kurama lead the way.” Naruto said with a sly grin to Hinata.
“Naruto is that really the Nine Tails?” she asked the smiling blonde.
“Well yes and no, he’s just a clone, a mere thought made substance.” Naruto replied as he kissed her.
“Naruto what was Operation Transference?” Hinata asked as they followed the miniature Nine Tails.
“The Civilian Council’s idea of getting rid of the Demon Brat with the help of the village’s Elders.” Naruto muttered angrily his grip on her waist tightening.
“So what was the plan then?” Hinata prompted when he wouldn’t elaborate.
“To use a woman that had feelings for me and have them kidnapped. Then send me or a team with me on it to rescue them and well you remember what happened.” He finished blushing slightly as her hand wrapped around his own.
“Yeah well that was stupid of them. If they wanted you to get a woman pregnant they shouldn’t have used a Kunoichi as bait.” Hinata said angrily with real steel in her voice.
Naruto looked at her in surprise. “Wow you really have changed that was so hot.” He said pressing her against him as he pressed his lips to hers in a passionate kiss. “But why was it stupid?” he asked breaking the kiss.

“Um does Haku know this jutsu and potion?” he asked nervously.
“Yeah I taught her when we were on the border mission.” Hinata said giggling some more at the look of relief on his face.
“Look we’re here.” He said as he almost walked straight into the miniature fox. The fox disappeared in a burst of smoke and coming towards them across what looked like a mountain meadow was a very large reddish orange fox with nine tails. The fox stopped about ten meters in front of them and looked down at them. He stood at about twenty stories high and was at least twenty five meters from nose to the tip of his tails.
“Hinata this is Kurama the Nine Tails Fox, no he isn’t a demon he’s a being of pure chakra, that’s why they can’t be permanently killed. Kurama this is Hinata Hyuga.” Naruto said as he introduced the two to each other.
Hinata walked forward as nervous caution and eager anticipation warred within her. “Can I touch him?” she asked looking back at Naruto who nodded his head.
“This was his idea. He wanted to meet the person that is responsible for his partial release from my father’s seal.” Naruto replied as he followed Hinata to stand beside the fox as he lay down so that his face was only inches from theirs.
“Partial release, what do you mean? And what do I have to do with it?” she asked slightly confused.
“My body and chakra aren’t yet strong enough to house a fully free Kurama not for another four or five years but we came up with an idea that I would release more of the seal as I get stronger until I am strong enough to share a bonded existence with a fully free but contained Kurama.” he replied as Hinata slowly patted the giant fox. “And why you? Well on the border I asked him for help and this was the payment for his help, well not exactly but as I said not yet strong enough to share.”
“Why does he have to be contained?” She asked looking at back at him.
“Because if he is ever removed or extracted from me I will die, like all other Jinchuriki and the beasts we’re forced to imprison this is our curse.” Naruto said as he walked up behind Hinata wrapping his arms around her waist and kissed her as she continued to pat a monster capable of obliterating her in an instance.
“Now for the other thing I wanted to show you.” He said as he stepped away from her and Kurama blew on her encasing her in a cloud of chakra.
“Done,” Kurama said inside her head.
“What, did you just speak into my mind?” Hinata asked slightly spooked.
“Yes,” Naruto answered. “Now Haku, you and I are slightly connected through his chakra, we will be able to almost communicate telepathically and you can talk to him whenever you like. Don’t worry it will only last three days to a week at max.” Naruto smiled at the look of wonder on her face.
“Come on the exam is about to start and I think we might be drawing a crowd.” He said placing his hands on her temples and told her to close her eyes. He poured some chakra into her temples. Instantly they were back in the material world and aware of the stares that they were receiving from the assembled Genin and to Naruto’s surprise they also had the attention of the two Jinchuriki.
*Yip* Hinata looked down to see a puppy sized nine tailed reddish orange fox standing between Naruto’s feet. “Um Naruto,” she pointed down and his eyes looked down at the little fox.
“Oi, lose the tails.” Naruto hissed to the little fox who huffed and one by one the excess tails disappeared until there was only one long bushy tail. “The other reason I had to remove some of the seal.” Naruto grinned scratching the back of his head.
“How did you think of this?” she asked as she held her arms out for the fox that happily jumped into her arms to be cuddled.
“Hana and her three hounds told me that when an Inuzuka gets their partner they spend almost every waking moment together to build trust, teamwork and companionship. Besides I got the idea from Kiba and Akamaru that’s why I asked Hana, just don’t tell him ok?” Naruto said as he looked at the fox rubbing his side against Hinata’s breasts.
“Perverted fox,” Naruto grumbled just as a smoke bomb exploded and out of the swirling smoke walked the bald and heavily scarred Ibiki.

“Alright you worms settle down and take your places so I can explain the first exam.” Ibiki growled and instantly every Genin was in their assigned spots.
“Lucky huh Hinata?” Naruto whispered to his girlfriend sitting to his right with Kurama sitting in her lap.
She nodded as Ibiki began to explain the rules of the exam. “For this Exam you will answer ten questions. However the tenth question will not be given out until ten minutes before the finish time, understand?” Next I’m sure you all see the ninja lining the walls they are all keen observers and if they catch you cheating you will lose two marks. If they catch you three times you will be thrown out and your teammates will fail also, understand?” Ibiki said as the observers took their seats with pad and pen in hand.
‘Three times what they want us to cheat or something, usually if you're caught cheating just once you fail automatically?’ Naruto thought as he tried to figure out the aim of the exam.
“Lastly you will be graded as a team if one member fails the whole team fails.” Ibiki finished with an evil smile.
That got a reaction. “What!” came screams of protest from many of the Genins assembled.
“You heard me you worms if one of your teammates fails the exam the whole squad fails.” Ibiki said as slowly as possible sounding out each word one by one.
“Good thing we did some prep.” He whispered to Hinata who nodded as several proctors began passing out the exams face down so none of the Genin could see the questions. Kurama got up from Hinata’s lap and climbed on to the table then jumped on to Naruto’s shoulder before lying around the back of his neck.
Ibiki watched until all of the exams were passed out and had his eye on the clock waiting for it to hit noon. “It’s noon you can begin.” He said and the Genin turned over the exams.
“Ok Kurama can you send a copy to Haku please?” Naruto asked as he glanced sideways at Hinata as she started the first question.
Naruto read through all nine questions. “I can answer the first three of them easily but I don’t know the others. Do you know any of the answers Kurama?” Naruto asked the fox in his mindscape.
“Only question five just because it is on chakra.” Kurama replied.
“Hinata, Haku can you answer questions four, six, seven, eight and nine?” Naruto asked them through the link that Kurama had created earlier that day.
“I can answer one through six.” Hinata said as she moved on to answering question three.
“I can answer them all; I am a Chunin after all.” Haku laughed as she heard them both grumble but they did thank her.

Twenty minutes to go and they were both finished and waiting for the last question. The miniature of Kurama was purring as he sat on Naruto’s lap his tail wagging as Hinata scratched him under his chin.
“If you keep spoiling him and he’ll probably follow you home.” Naruto said quietly as he watched the proctors around him as they continued to call out names.
‘Huh still three quarter of the squads are still in the exams.’ Naruto thought as he absent mindedly scratched the fox between his ears.
“Uh how long is these ten minutes going to go?” Naruto grumbled as he looked at the clock above Ibiki who was watching Naruto and Hinata even though he appeared not to.
Over the next nine minutes another twelve squads were ejected from the exam.
‘Still well over half the squads are here, alright ten minutes to go let’s fuck with their heads.’ Ibiki thought as he caught a chakra thread that was attached to one of the proctors out the corner of his eye. With a shake of his head in amusement he purposefully looked up at the clock.
“Pens down time for the tenth question. However there are a few things you need to know prior to me giving out the last question.” Ibiki said with a straight face hiding the evil grin he was showing on the inside. “ First if you answer the question and get it wrong you and your squad automatically fails and the person who answers wrong will never be able to take the Chunin Exams ever again, however you can elect not to take the question and quit now and you and your team can come back and try again next year.” Ibiki said without a trace of the thrill he was feeling as he fucked with their heads.
‘What the hell’s going on first we’re supposed to cheat to get the answers of the exam and then just have a chance to quit? If this was a real mission we would be expected to complete the mission as a team.’ Naruto thought as a lightbulb went off in his head.
“It’s a trick; he’s playing off a Genin’s fear and inexperience.” He said to Hinata through the temporary link with Kurama.
Naruto turned around and watched as one member from one squad or another put their hands up and walked out of the exam room until there were thirty squads remaining.
‘No more volunteers, I guess these Genin are made of sterner stuff.’ He thought as he proclaimed aloud. “You all pass.”
“What do you mean we pass what is the tenth question?” he heard one of the Sand Genin yell out.
“Easy the tenth question was, do you give up?” Ibiki said with the shake of his head. ‘How did he pass?’ he thought before his eyes fell on the Sand shinobi’s red haired teammate. ‘That’s why he didn’t put his hand up.’
Just then there was the sound of smashing glass as a beautiful purple haired Kunoichi in a long light brown trench coat jumped through the closed window, shattering the glass pane.
‘Early as always.’ Ibiki sweat dropped as the Kunoichi landed in front of him.
“Alright maggots listen up and listen good. I am Anko Mitarashi and I am the proctor of the second exam. Now follow me and let’s begin this bloodbath.” She laughed manically. As the Genin were packing up she whispered to Ibiki, “Your test is too weak almost a quarter of the participating Genin’s passed.”
“There are some outstanding talents here, plus three Jinchuriki.” He added for good measure.
“So I see.” She said with a lick of her lips as she looked at Naruto who had the miniature Kurama lying around his neck who was staring at the snake mistress as she looked at Naruto.

Thirty out of one hundred and sixty Genin squads were standing around one of the entrances to training ground forty-four also known as the Forest of Death. Naruto looked around counting the squads involved in this exam huh fifteen squads from The Hidden Leaf, five from the Hidden Rain, four from the Hidden Sand, two from the Hidden Grass, two from the Hidden Sound and two from the Hidden Waterfall. ‘Huh none of the five from the Hidden Mist, or the five from the Hidden Cloud passed surprising so much for being a great shinobi village.’ Naruto thought.
“Listen up you maggots. I’ll now explain how the second exam will proceed. This exam will be a survival challenge over five days in this training field, which we call the Forest of Death. Before we begin the exam you will all have to sign this waiver form that says that you accept the challenge and the risk of death and that the Hidden Leaf is not responsible for your death should you die in this exam. If one member of a squad does not sign the waiver the whole team will fail. We will provide each member of the squad a flare that can be used during the exam if a team wishes to quit during the exam.” Anko said as she saw fear and nervousness spread throughout the Genin ranks except for a certain trio a blonde Leaf shinobi, a red haired Sand ninja and an aqua haired Waterfall Kunoichi. ‘So they are the three Jinchuriki taking these exams.’ She thought as she allowed the fear to deepen.
“Each squad will be given one of two scrolls, either an Earth or Heaven scroll. The goal of the exam is to reach the tower in the center of the forest within the five day time limit with both a Heaven and Earth scroll.”
“Now for the rules of this exam, do not open the scrolls before you reach the tower you will regret it and the killing of enemy squads is allowed and encouraged.” She said with an evil grin on her face.
“So let’s get this exam started at once.” She said as proctors began handing out the waiver forms. “Once your whole squad has filled out the waiver select one of your squad members to come to the tent and collect your squads Heaven or Earth scroll.” She said before stepping into the tent.
“Go Kurama find out which squads get which scroll.” Naruto whispered as the miniature fox jumped of his shoulder and slunk his way to the tent.
He finished filling out the waiver with the rest of his squad and along with Sasuke and Sakura passed the forms to the seated proctor and Sasuke received an Earth scroll which he quickly hid while Naruto created a clone which transformed into a copy of the scroll and walked out flipping it in his hand over and over before placing it in his back pack.
“So how many were watching Hinata?” He asked the midnight haired beauty through the link with Kurama.
“Everybody was watching you should’ve seen some of their faces.” She giggled as she remembered Kiba’s jaw drop at Naruto’s antics. “So what scroll did you get?”
“Earth just like you, so far ten of the fifteen Konoha squads all have Earth scrolls.” Naruto said as he watched the other five Konoha squads came forward to get their scrolls. “Make that twelve of the fifteen Konoha squads have Earth scrolls.”
“Ok maggots every squad has a scroll so get to your gate and wait for the start of the exam.” Anko yelled as she got pumped up for the action to start.
With ten minutes till the start of the second exam Squad Seven were waiting for the exam to begin. Sakura was pacing as she tried to bury the fear and the nerves she felt. Sasuke was his usual broody self while Naruto was sitting with the miniature Kurama in front of him scratching him under his chin as they had a silent conversation.
“One minute to exam start maggots.” Anko’s voice came over the PA system.
“Begin.” The gate opened, the second exam started and they rushed into training ground forty-four, they raced into the Forest of Death.
