Graduation

The next day, when she got out of class and got back to the Uchiha residence, a man with a bad haircut was there, waiting for her.
"Alright, little lady! Let's go feel the power of youth! It is time to take you to stay with me for an entire week, and I will have you so busy training that you will graduate by the end of this very week!" The man said. She noted that he wore a strange green suit, and he had very, very bushy eyebrows. Mikoto stood there with him, smiling at him awkwardly, and she already had Koroshi's bags at her side.
"This is Might Guy, Koroshi-chan, and you will be spending this week with him. It was great having you for the weekend!"
Koroshi bowed. "Thank you, Mikoto-san. Please thank Fugaku-sama for me."
Mikoto nodded, and Koroshi left with Might Guy.
"So, um, Guy-san?"
"Oh, please, just Guy will do. But what is your question?"
"Ok, well, Guy, um.....can we stop somewhere really quickly?"
He looked at her, confused. "Where would you like to go?"
"I um....well I gotta.....I have to use the bathroom...."
"Oh, I see! Well, here!" He led them to a nearby shop. "They should have one in there that you can use."
She bowed slightly. "Thank you, Guy!" She rushed inside and rushed to the nearest toilet, and when she pulled down her pants, she saw that blood was starting to soak into her underwear and into her pants. She, her parents having been mute and died before she would ever need to know what this meant, thought she was dying, and screamed as loudly and shrilly as possible. Guy, being the protector and caretaker that he was, rushed into the bathroom to protect her from whatever force had threatened her. And then stopped dead in his tracks when she screamed at his entry. He immediately noted that there was no danger, so he turned his head, closed his eyes, and asked "What is the matter?!"
"I.....I......I'm...............I have internal bleeding!" She screamed. "I think I am dying!"
"Where are you bleeding from?" Guy asked, not quite understanding.
"I.....I found it soaking through my underwear and pants....."
"Oh! Um......I'll help you, hold on!" He rushed out of the rest room, eyes staring at him, and rushed to a woman working the counter. "Ma'am, I need your help. My young companion is in need of some female help."
The woman understood, and rushed into the restroom to help poor young Koroshi. The woman went in, and said "Young lady, your friend asked me to come in here and help you. Are you bleeding from....down there?"
Koroshi, sobbing, nodded.
"Calm down, dear, this is completely normal. This happens to every woman. It is a sign that you are now a woman. I will bring you some things that you need dear, free of charge. I will take it out of my pay, since you are so scared. You're the orphan girl who the village is helping and buzzing about, right?" Koroshi nodded, so the woman continued. "Well, since I don't suppose your parents got to teach you about this, I will help you for now. This, like I said, happens to every woman, sometimes at your age, and sometimes later. The only thing we can do is use something to catch the blood and just bear with it."
"Will the bleeding last forever?"
"The bleeding will happen every month, for around a week each time, and you won't get the bleeding if you are pregnant.......before you start this special bleeding, you cannot get pregnant, but now that you have started the bleeding, that means that you can, so always be careful, alright?"
"....Be careful with what?"
"....You don't know about the birds and the bees, do you?"
Koroshi shook her head. "Birds and bees?"
The woman waved it off. "Ask someone who is taking care of you about it, I am sure one of them will help you, but I suggest you ask both a man and a woman, so you can get different perspectives on it."
Koroshi had no clue what she was talking about, but she nodded.
"Now, dear, would you like me to get your bag from Guy-san so that you can change?" The woman asked, and Koroshi nodded. "Alright, I will go get your bag and then I will teach you how to apply these things to help you." The lady went and got Koroshi's bag, and after Koroshi had changed her pants and underwear, the lady got a pad. "You un-package it, like this--" and she demonstrated. "And then you put it on your underwear, like this--" she put it on Koroshi's underwear for her, to demonstrate. "Now, this you are going to have to do yourself. This is a tampon. You unpackage it like this--" she took it out of the plastic casing. "And then, you put it up inside, and you push on this part--" she pointed at the applicator. "You hold on to the plastic shell, and pull it back, but you leave the cloth part inside, and you leave it to where the string is dangling out so that you can remove it later. Do you understand?"
Koroshi nodded, and did as she had been instructed, successfully. "Was that correct?"
"Yes, very good. Now, you have to change these once the tampon is completely full of blood and once the pad is completely full of blood. Then you will do this all over again. It takes practice, but you will get used to it."
"I'm not so sure I want to get used to this...." Koroshi muttered. "Thank you for your help, ma'am." Koroshi finally finished up, and got back to Guy. "I am ready now."
He nodded. Kurenai caught up to them when they left the shop. "Guy! I need to talk to you for a second."
"Sure thing, Kurenai. What can I do for you?"
"Is everything alright? I was nearby and heard the commotion."
"Koroshi....well, she uh....started her monthly bleeding." Guy said, awkwardly.
Kurenai gasped. "Eleven is a little early for that. Well, don't be too rough on her, Guy. That makes your stomach hurt, makes you feel bloated, makes you eat more, makes you get stomach and back cramps, and is generally a pain. Please, don't push her too hard. You will have the chance to have her for another week again, I am sure, so please, let her rest this week. She is going to need time to get used to this. You can still train her, of course, but not like you train Lee."
Guy nodded, almost dejected. "Fine, fine. I will not train her too harshly. Now, Koroshi, let's get going! I am going to introduce you to my squad. Thanks to that, we are a little late, as I had not been prepared for that, but we can still get there before we're ten minutes late!" He picked her up and ran full speed, her in his arms, as he ran to their destination.
They arrived in four minutes, and there were students--one whom she recognized--sitting on a bench, waiting for them.
"Class, this is Koroshi, and she will be staying with me for a week. But Neji, you already know that, don't you?" Guy said. "Anyway, Koroshi, this is Ten-ten--" Guy pointed to the girl student. "And this is Rock Lee!" He pointed to a student who looked almost exactly like him. She wondered if they were related somehow.
"Yes, Guy-sensei. Koroshi-san and I have met already." Neji said in response to Guy's earlier statement of him having already met Koroshi.
Lee looked at Neji, jealous. "What a beautiful woman!"
Koroshi blushed, but didn't respond otherwise.
"It’s nice to meet everyone." Koroshi said to the group. "Guy, I'm really not feeling very well."
"Oh yes, that's right....well, my pupils, while I let Koroshi rest for today, and work on her hand signs instead of anything strenuous, you're going to run, blindfolded, one mile as fast as you can. The winner will get treated to dango tonight!"
They all groaned, but they blindfolded themselves and went to work. Guy walked over to Koroshi, who was sitting on a bench, watching them.
"So, Koroshi, how are your ninja hand signs coming along? How is your speed?" Guy asked.
"Well, I only know a few so far, and those are sort of slow, since I'm not used to doing hand signs."
"Why don't you demonstrate for me what you already know?" Guy suggested, so Koroshi nodded. She performed the hand seals for a water ball, and demonstrated for him. "I see. So you are a water user. Here--" He handed her a white piece of paper. "This will show what type of chakra nature you have." She nodded, and held the piece of paper. However, the piece of paper did something that no one has ever witnessed before.
One corner of the paper split off, representing the Wind chakra nature. One corner of the paper wrinkled a bit, representing the Lightning chakra nature. One corner turned to dirt and crumbled away, representing the Earth chakra nature. One corner turned to ash, representing the Fire chakra nature. And then, the center of the paper, became wet, representing the Water chakra nature.
Guy immediately became concerned. Koroshi asked "What is wrong?"
Guy hesitated. ".....Try that again," he said, and handed her another piece, which reacted the same way.
"Is there something the matter, Guy?"
He hesitated even longer this time, and she grew frightened. Had she done something wrong?
"This.......is not a normal reaction. Normally, there is only one reaction per person. It either splits apart, wrinkles, turns to dirt and crumbles away, turns to ash, or it gets wet. There is only supposed to be one reaction. But you.....you had all five reactions at once."
She gulped. "Is......is that a bad thing?"
"I'm not sure. It has never happened even once in history."
She suddenly felt awkward, like she was suddenly the strangest person in the world, like there was no one whom was like her. She felt lonely.
He placed a hand on her shoulder. Then he called out to his students, who came running up to them. "Yes, Guy-sensei?"
"Neji, I want you to activate your byakugan and take a look at Koroshi's chakra." Neji did so, and gave her a strange look. "What do you see?"
"It’s.....strange.....like, its different textures.......different colors.....like there is more than one chakra there.....its conflicting chakras, but it’s all working together, inside of her. What is this, Guy-sensei?"
"Take a look at this," Guy said, and gave Koroshi another piece of the paper. It, again, reacted the same way as it had the previous two times. They all marveled at it. "I think I need to take her to the Hokage, right away."
Before anyone could react, he picked her up again, and nearly teleported to the Hokage's mansion. The Hokage sat at his desk, going through papers, when Guy burst in, carrying Koroshi.
"Hokage-sama, I need to show you something!" Guy said, catching his breath and being as bold and over the top as ever.
"What is it, Guy? What has gotten you so riled up?" The third Hokage asked, and he looked at Koroshi. "Ah, this must be Koroshi, the girl who has been causing so much buzzing around the village. It is good to finally meet you, Koroshi."
She knew he was the leader of the entire Hidden Leaf Village, and bowed slightly. "It’s nice to meet you, Hokage-sama..."
He smiled at her. "You look much like your parents, Koroshi. I only saw them one time, and they were unable to speak, but I thought they were just passing through the Village, because it was the first and only time that they had ever been seen inside this village."
She didn't know what to say, so she nodded.
"Now, what was so urgent, Guy?"
"Take a look at this, sir. I think you will find it most intriguing. I know that I sure didn't know what to think of it." Guy handed her another piece of the chakra litmus paper, and it, once again, reacted the same way. The third Hokage gaped, not knowing how to react. "It is quite strange, isn't it, Hokage-same?"
"It is indeed. This is a new record. Not one shinobi has ever been recorded as having the litmus paper react this way. If enemy nations were to find out this information, then Koroshi will be in imminent danger of kidnapping. Koroshi, you must be extremely careful. Do not tell this information to anyone who comes from outside the village. We must prevent this information from spreading at all costs."
Guy and Koroshi nodded.
Guy took Koroshi back to his home, and led her to a small room. "This will be where you will stay, Koroshi. I will let you get settled in, and then you can bathe, and then we will have a hearty supper and go to bed!"
She nodded, and he left her alone.
Things went pretty smoothly that evening, as they did for the rest of the week. She came back to Guy's on Thursday evening, with great news.
"They told me that I will be ready to graduate the entrance class tomorrow, Guy! They told me that tomorrow, I will take the entrance exam, and if I pass, I will graduate and go on to Iruka-sensei's class for the pre-genin."
"That is excellent news, Koroshi! I know you will do just fine!" He said, and winked at her, giving her a shiny, sparkly smirk, and she could swear she almost heard a ding as his teeth sparkled.
She went to bed early that night, and knew that the next day, she would do her best.

She took the entrance exam and passed it, and surprisingly to her, they didn't have any other students to take the exam yet, only her. They performed the graduating ceremony, and Guy, Kakashi, and Sasuke and Neji were there. They took her out to eat dango.
When she and Guy arrived back at Guy's home, he helped her get her bags ready and get to the door, where there was yet another surprise for her.
Itachi stood there, waiting for her. She dropped the bag she was holding and ran to him, throwing herself onto him, and he laughed and gave her a hug in return. "It is good to see you, Itachi-sama!"
He smiled. "It is good to see you, as well, Koroshi-chan."
"Oh, Oh, Guy! Can we show him? He is my closest friend!"
He stared at the, amazed to see Itachi acting so social, but grabbed a piece of the litmus paper and handed it to her. It reacted as it always did, and Itachi startled, shocked. "Koroshi, that isn't a natural reaction. This could be dangerous--"
"You must not tell anyone, Itachi," Guy said. "She could become a target for kidnapping if anyone were to let this out."
Itachi nodded. "Come, Koroshi, we need to get back to the compound now. It was good seeing you, Guy."
Guy nodded, and Koroshi and Itachi left. He took her by the park on their way to the Uchiha compound.
"I did not tell you last weekend, Koroshi, but the mission that I went on, I went on for you....to get something for you." He held up a necklace with the Uchiha crest on it, and he held in his other hand a ring, also with the Uchiha crest, but it was not red and white like it was supposed to be, but her favorite color, a light blue. He got on one knee before her. "I know that we are young, Koroshi-chan....but....I want for us to promise each other our love. There are many hard times coming ahead, and I want you to know that I care for you. I want you....to have my last name. I want to give that to you, Koroshi, seeing as you have no last name, when we are supposed to have a last name....you can be an inherited Uchiha. This is what I am giving to you. Will you accept my crest, be my girlfriend, and accept my family name?"
Koroshi, overwelmed, felt her face and entire body seem to light itself aflame, and she flushed, blushing, and tears came to her eyes in happiness. "Pl....please....Itachi-sama........stand so that I may hug you...."
Itachi's smile was victorious as he stood, taking her into a strong embrace. "Then...you will?"
She nodded vigorously. "Yes! You could have asked me to marry you and I would have said yes a thousand times!" She laughed, and tears of joy ran down her cheeks. They shared their first tongue kiss in that moment, exploring each other, and then pulled away, and Itachi put the necklace on her and put the ring on her left hand on her wedding-ring finger, signifying that she was his, though they were not yet married. "Oh, Itachi-sama!" She giggled, happy.
He just smiled, and they held hands as they walked home. Unknown to them, there was a pair of eyes watching them....they belonged to Fugaku Uchiha, and he couldn't decide if he was angry or not as he watched the entire thing unfold. An Uchiha was only supposed to be with someone who was in the clan, as was the same for the Hyuga's, too. These big, proud clans were supposed to stay within the clan, so that their visual prowess would stay inside the clans, and be stronger. Fugaku knew that Koroshi may have accepted the Uchiha name, but she was no born Uchiha, and wouldn't truly be considered one by the clan unless she did a blood-ceremony infront of the entire clan.....which was something that he could not determine yet if he would even allow. He didn't know how to feel about this girl who was unlike any other in the world.
She was an enigma to him and everyone else in the village.
He did not yet know about the reaction the chakra litmus paper had to her, but he would more than likely find out soon. Itachi, however, wanted to prevent this....for there were some things that no one knew about the Uchiha clan, and some bad things were coming in the future for Itachi's clan.
Fugaku sought to use Itachi as a pair of eyes to infiltrate the village. Itachi, however, wasn't all that he appeared to be, even among his own clan.
Yes, some bad things were bound to happen in the future. How would Koroshi fit into this future? Itachi was unsure. But now, not only did he want to protect Sasuke at all costs, he was wanting to also protect Koroshi. He knew what he intended to do with Sasuke, should the situation arise, but he needed a plan for Koroshi.
Yes, he needed a plan.
