A/N: Hey y'all! Welcome back for the next chappie of Underdog.

Chapter 8: Initiate
After their romp, the two had dressed before exiting the shared room. To be honest, Naruto still felt flushed from their activity they had experienced. Hopefully things would continue to go well between them even though there probably will be some bumps in the road. The blonde didn't even really know if Sasuke harbored any feelings towards him. If he did then they would lie beyond the walls the Neko continues to keep up majority of the time. Taking in his surroundings while they walked, Sasuke showed him around the interior of the estate. When they finished up about a half hour or so later, he offered to show him the gardens behind it where there's also a makeshift training ground used for only those who live within the lavish building. One of the reasons why they can afford it is because the Hokage of Ame owns and lives within it. While walking, Naruto moved with a noticeable limp.
"What do you think so far?" Asked Sasuke, his cat tail swishing back and forth absently.
"It's definitely admirable," mused Naruto, thinking he could get used to living here along with calling it home. "I like it so far."
I'm glad to hear that," said Sasuke, his voice lowering slightly as if showing a rare moment of softness.
Before Naruto could say anything further, a certain individual with a swirly orange mask on interrupted by saying, "Sempai? What are you doing out here?"
"Um, I'm not Dei," sweat dropped the ookami. "I think he's having some, uh, alone time with Sasori?"
A certain golden green eyed male that's white on one half and black on the other sidled up to the other male with the mask, "Tobi, I told you not to wander off. That idiot is probably occupied at the moment. We shouldn't bother the new addition to our family..."
"But I haven't met him yet," pouted Tobi, unable to see it although it's easily discernible in his voice.
"Ugh, fine, just hurry up, please," said Zetsu, moving away a few paces to watch how things would proceed.
"Hiya," chirped Tobi, grabbing the blonde's hand to shake it quickly. "I'm Tobi. I've heard a lot about you from semapi."
"Uh, good to meet you? I'm Naruto," replied Naruto, not sure how to react towards this seemingly eccentric person.
"Um, I can't stay for long. Zetsu and I need to go do a few things for Leader-sama," said Tobi, waving goodbye quickly before skipping over to join Zetsu before the two departed through the carnivores man's method of traveling.
"Well, that was something," muttered Naruto after the two had left and ensured they were out of earshot.
"Hn, this isn't your normal family dobe," pointed out Sasuke.
Heading back to join him on the bench within the garden maze, he glared lightly at the name he had called him. Being named something like that didn't flatter him. Nope, not one bit at all. While they are compatible, there seemed to be some moments where they are literally and/or figuratively butting heads. Yet, he had to admit that the beautiful array of flora within the gardens did impress him. There were a few different kinds of butterflies fluttering around too every so often along with a couple of dragonflies. Some of the butterflies mistook Naruto for a butterfly bush. Sasuke hid a small smile from the sight behind one of his hands. Naruto felt confused at first from the tickling sensation of feelers on his head until he glanced up to see it's only some of the butterflies.
Scowling at his partner, he asked, "What's so funny, Uchiha?"
"You," he answered simply, chuckling lightly upon seeing more butterflies fluttered around him.
"Hmph, fine then," grumbled Naruo, the two remaining there to enjoy some companionable silence.
The moment had been broken again unfortunately by hearing footsteps approach. Deidara arrived into the back area of the estate where the gardens are positioned. Noticing Naruto and Sasuke in one section meant he went to another with a pleased Sasori following after him. Deidara is walking with a substantial limp along with a few marks upon him. Having not felt well after their little excursion of sorts meant something would be arriving for them within a few months or so time depending on how long the process would take for them. The two walked through a pathway in the gardens, hoping not to get lost. It has happened before to other people. The fortunate thing is there are ways to exit the maze if people figure it out or know it. The inhabitants of the mansion were able to traverse the maze with ease.
"Is something on your mind, brat?" Asked the redhead upon noticing how silent Deidara seemed to be, having slumped against him after a while for support.
"I don't know, un," admitted the blonde with a strained expression on his face, causing Sasori to halt in his movements.
"Tell me," demanded the kitsune, knowing he usually didn't care much although he does to a certain extent for his mate.
"I think we might be expecting," sighed Deidara, not knowing if he's even ready to become a parent.
"That soon?" Inquired Sasori, his curiosity peaked from hearing this news. "I didn't know it takes effect so quickly for other species."
"You'd be surprised," grumbled Deidara. "But that's what I was concerned about, hmph. Are we even suited for parenthood?"
"We'll find out in a few months time. Until then, relax, my pet. Things will unfold on their own accord. What we must understand is how to deal with it."
A/N: Yays! Done with chappie eight! Phew, glad to be done with that.

Agami: *gulps* Hehes, I know.
Rakknar: They'll get it done sometime tomorrow more or less. It just depends on what they're motivated to write.

Agami: That would be nice.
