Roboguy45: Yeah, the thing is that kind of just came to me when I was going over legends of Were’s.   There was a legend I came across that basically showed that they offered their children up to the great beasts and in the end their children became one with the beasts. The pictures depicted of them being part beast and part man.

CHAPTER EIGHT

        A week later Sasuke is woken up by Nero and Gaara pushing each other away from their favorite teat.   Gaara’s aqua eyes held frustrated tears as the pup struggled against the bigger cub.         ‘Really?’   He had tears in his eyes.   He looks at Naruto.   ‘We’re going to have babies?’   Mitsuki looked at Naruto.
        “Normally, the mate is the one who finds out first since their scents change.   You better get used to this scent because I have a feeling you will smell it a lot in your future.”   The pink haired girl glares at her mother.
        “Now if only I can find a mate.”   Itachi sighs.   “Owell, I guess in time I’ll see.”

        “Stupid fucking fox.”   Sakura kicks a tree as a blond girl walked up to her.
        “So basically, you hate Naruto while I hate Sasuke.   We could make this work.”   Ino says with an evil smirk on her face.
        “Yeah, but that doesn’t mean we can do anything about it.”   Sakura said as she looked down her nose at the blond.
        “Why not?”   Ino growls out.
        “That isn’t how things work out.   Even if we were to do something they are already mated and with babies on the way.   A mating bond can only be done on true mates.   So if we did something we couldn’t even adopt babies because there will be no bond between us.   Believe me I did research all of this.”   Sakura looks at Ino’s dwindling smirk.
        “That’s not fair!”   She shouts.
        “Life isn’t fair sometimes.   If there was a way I would help but since these two are mated and they aren’t even drawn to us when they weren’t there is no point in doing anything.”   Sakura says with a sad face.   “We just need to find our true mates and leave those two alone.”

Two months later…
        “They’ve gotten so big.”   Tsunade says as she ushered the three Were’s into the examination room.         ‘Yeah, now it’s hard to even get any sleep. From the looks of everything all five are healthy and ready to be born.         ‘New home?   I thought my room would be where we would be?’   He asked.
        “No, he’ll begin nesting soon so I figured that you could have your parents’ floor.   I already got everything done up in there.   It’s just waiting for you and your little family.   Don’t worry too much though.   I have a room on our floor ready for your father if we can find a cure.”   She leans down to grab up Nero who yowls at her angrily.   “Oh, hush little one.   Looks like your temperament needs improvement.”   She places the cub besides Sasuke and smiles at him trying to squirm out of her hold.   “Looks like he will be like you on not liking checkups.”   She places him back into the basket only to pull her scratched hand out as she tried to grab Gaara in her grasp.   She glares at him.   “Little bugger scratched me.”   Naruto snickers as he got up to grab the escaping cub by its scruff.
        ‘He does get a little angry when someone besides Sasuke holds him.’   He explains as he puts the cub back in the basket.   Nero looks at his father and purrs when he felt the familiar tongue run over his head.   Tsunade looks at Gaara with a confused look on her face.
        “He has a red patch on his forehead.   That’s weird.   Normally, raccoon dogs only have two colors; tan and black.”   She finishes with him.   “His female organs are normal right now, now for the little princess.”   She says as she stops Nero from swiping his brother.   Naruto growls at the cub whose blue eyes widen.   He starts pouting.   Yura was chewing happily on Gaara’s ear.   The pup just sat there not paying attention until Tsunade picks Yura up which yanks his ear from sharp teeth causing him to yip out.   “Sorry, Gaara.   Yura, your brother isn’t a chew toy.”   She frowns at the cub who gives her the puppy eyes.   Sasuke laughs as she saw this.
        ‘Uh-oh.   Another victim of those eyes.’   He snickers when Tsunade cuddles with her.
        “Okay, from the looks of it they will start shifting soon.   And by soon I mean in a month.   Now I am glad there is a room set up for them.   Their first shifts will seem weird to them but they will learn a lot of stuff quickly when they do.”   She turns and looks at everyone in the room.   “They will resemble a six month old when they change.   But from there it is different than humans.   They will start to walk soon after and talking will come with that.”
        ‘That’s a lot in a short time.’   Sasuke replies as he sits up with some difficulty.
        “You will have plenty of help.”   She tells them.   “Now go and get rest.   Iruka and Kakashi will be on the same floor with you so they can help.”   She puts Yura in a basket and watches them enter the elevator.

        Naruto wakes up to see Sasuke scratching at the pelt they were laying on in their new bedroom.   He heard the panting as he scratched again then turned around to lie down.   He lays his head down on Naruto’s front legs.   ‘It hurts.’   Naruto’s eyes widen when he saw Sasuke’s stomach clench.   The wolf lifts his leg as he licks his opening.   ‘I think it’s time, Naruto.’   Naruto gets up quickly and nudges Neji.   The young fox looks at Naruto, his pale eyes still around from sleeping.
        ‘Go find grandmother and Shizune.   Tell them it’s time.’   Since Neji is really smart his eyes widen and he rushes to the elevator.   Naruto yips out to get Iruka and Kakashi’s attention.   Both Were dogs ran into the room.   Iruka’s black eyes widen as his brown fur stands on end.   He runs to grab a basket and brought it to Naruto as the wolf whines from the pain.   The litter whines as they saw their mother in so much pain.   Gaara and Yura licks Sasuke’s snout as Naruto picks Nero up and for once the cub is quiet, showing concern for his mother in his eyes.   As Naruto puts the last baby into the basket Kakashi grabs it and rushes off to the nursery where they will be sleeping as soon as they have been completely weaned.
        ‘Sasuke, are you in too much pain?’   Iruka asks the wolf. Sasuke’s trademark glare is intensified by being in his wolf form.
        ‘What do you think, Dolt?’   He growls out through the network.
        ‘Now, mate.   He’s not the one who you should be biting off their head.’   Naruto sends as he nuzzles the black neck.   The wolf growls as his eyes turn red.
        ‘No, that would be you.’   He then gasps as a sharp pain shoots through him.   The elevator dings as the doors open.   Their ears perk when they heard it.   Sasuke pants out as three people walk in.   Tsunade stops as she noticed Kakashi and the babies weren’t in the room.   She closes her eyes and sighs.   When she opens them she turns to look at Neji who shifted to his human form.
        “Neji, why don’t you join Kakashi in the nursery?”   She pushed him towards the door.   As he disappeared she turned to the mates who lay on the birthing/sleeping pelt.   She walks up to them and lifts Sasuke’s leg to see the start of the bubble-like balloon making the opening spread wider.   “Okay, the first one will be out any second.   So, I want you to start pushing at the next bit of pain you feel.”   Sasuke nods and feels it automatically.   He starts pushing until he felt the pain disappear.
