Kakashi panted laying under the tree his legs shook, his heart was race faster than a rabbit’s petite heart could even imagine, and Kakashi was sure he would die, these pups did NOT stop, they had endless amounts of energy, Kakashi laid his head down closing his eyes, he had left the pups to play with each other, out of the two, Gaara was older, and seemed to be a closed off pup, Kakashi figured out the pup only acted the way he did to keep Neji entertained, the setter loved the pale eyed puppy, like REALLY loved him, when Kakashi HAD caught Neji, Gaara was almost ready to attack him if he did anything to the pup, Kakashi didn’t dare harm the pup, he’d hate to hate the pink squealer, the blonde, and two dogs jumping him at once, Kakashi knew when to back down, so he just nipped the puppies cheek and darted off, it felt good to play once in his life, he’d been taught to kill so often, he never had a chance to just play, Kakashi began to drift into the world of sleep when he felt a body press against him, then another lay on his other side, he opened his eyes weakly and frowned seeing the two pups laying on either side of him falling asleep, he frowned and sighed, he really hated pups
/Thank you for taking care of them while I rested, they can be a pawful, and you guys look so cute together/ Kakashi sighed closing his eyes
/whatever, I’m just not in the moon to push them off that’s all/ Iruka bit back a chuckle and laid in front of Kakashi
/they respect you/
/their stupid pups/
/Both of them came from horrible situations, they made it better with each other, their accepting you as a leader to them/ Kakashi frowned a bit looking up at Iruka

/Every dog pack has a leader, at first that was me, but I am no leader, you are perfect in their eyes, Strong, protective, handsome/ Kakashi blushed looking away from Iruka, he sighed closing his eyes
/Stop saying such stupid things/ Iruka giggled his tail wagging
/Alright/ Iruka smiled watching the three sleep, he closed his eyes relaxing in the sun
“Ah Naruto look! That’s so cute!” Naruto looked up from the board game he and Sakura were playing, he smiled softly seeing the pile of dogs in the yard
“I’m glad he’s accepting dogs as friends so easily”
“Yea it’s nice, We should get these three to a park tomorrow! You said Itachi gave you a few weeks off work right?” Naruto nodded slowly, he’d gotten sick at work and Itachi had caught him, and forced him to take a month off, saying it was all the stress of the job effecting the blonde
“Yea… We should, but why not do it as soon as they wake up? I would like to get outta the house, tomorrow we can take them on the trails, it will be awesome!” Sakura giggled and beamed clapping her hands
“sounds perfect!”

Kakashi sat in the passenger seat of the car, he refused to get out of the car once they got to the park, he could SEE the three dogs playing, and the two owners, he just did not want to join in, too many other dogs around, and Kakashi was unsure if he would be able to stop himself from attacking one, Naruto had left the window rolled down enough for Kakashi to slip his head out to get fresh air, Kakashi relaxed and sighed he did enjoy feeling the sun on his fur, it was warm and comforting, Kakashi’s nose perked up, the scent of a familiar dog, and a familiar human scent, Kakashi stood up alerted, he frowned watching the two humans talk to each other, lost in their own world, he notices Iruka and Gaara nipping at each other and running around, and Neji beside a van, chewing on a dog treat, Kakashi tensed, he’d remembered that van, it was the same one that snatched him up when he was a puppy, it collected bait dogs, Kakashi began to snarl and bark pawing at the window pushing the glass trying to get someone attention, the doors opened, Iruka looked at Kakashi confused
/The pup!!! / Iruka looked over to Neji just as the puppy was pulled into the van, Gaara snarled running to the van barking and snapping his teeth, the man inside pulled him inside before the van sped off
“Neji!! Gaara!!” Sakura screamed running after the speeding truck, Iruka growled running after the van, Kakashi snarled smashing the window and jumping out taking chase after Iruka, he was not going to allow those pups to get hurt, not in the way he was, he would save them, he would protect his pack

Neji yelped when he was thrown out of the pure white windowless van, he shook scrambling away from the human, a pale silver dog stepped in front of him blocking the pup from escaping, he snarled snapping his teeth, Neji yelped jumping back his tail between his legs, the dog smelt of blood, lots of blood, and it scared the pup, Gaara was tossed out of the van next to Neji, the setter was bounded his paws tied together, his muzzle tied shut with a string that began to cut into his skin, he let out a soft growl at the pale dog, warning him to stay back
“They’re both too old to start training to fight, figured we should use them as bait dogs”
“Dunno seems the red one has some potential” Neji shook then cried out feeling the pale dog bit the scruff of his neck, Neji began to struggle and yelp, his body shaking, Gaara began to struggle his eyes going wide, Neji relaxed feeling the pale dog drop him, the dog went flying hitting the other wall, Iruka stood swaying a bit, he’d used his shoulder to push the pale dog off Neji, Iruka limped to Gaara chewing at the ropes, he yelped out feeling the dog jump on him pinning him down to the floor, Iruka began to struggle trying to bite the dog, he growled his eyes narrowing
/You fucking house pet! How dare you touch me! The great Mizuki! / Iruka growled baring his fangs to the pale dog his back fur rising
/Great?! How great can you be picking on puppies!? / Mizuki’s eyes began to sparkle, he never did enjoy breeding with bitches, they were sloppy, no he loved to beat a male dog in the ring, and force him to be his bitch, and this male was perfect, very healthy and had an attitude, Mizuki would have fun with him, Iruka’s eyes went wide feeling the pale dog begin to mount him, he let out a loud cry of fear.
The two men picked up the two pups shoving them in kennels, one of the men laughed clapping
“Mizuki is so fucking gay! Its hilarious!”
“We should keep that brown dog, give him to Mizuki after fights” the second one added, smirking at the two dogs, a low growl filled the air, Mizuki froze letting go of the brown, his eyes going wide seeing the mismatched coloured eyes in the shadow, the two man tensed watching Kakashi stalk out from the shadows, one man paled backing up, Kakashi looked at the man and frowned, his handler, he should have known, Kakashi snapped his teeth at Mizuki
/you got three seconds, get off him/ Mizuki growled his back fur rising his eyes narrowing, his teeth bared to the silver dog
/make me Silver devil/ Kakashi smirked, he was really hoping to kill something today, Within seconds Mizuki was on the ground under the silver dog, Kakashi’s teeth clamping into the dogs neck, Iruka shook standing on shaky legs, he glared at the two men who by now were retreating to their van, of course they would leave their dog to die, Iruka huffed then ran to the kennels opening them, he slipped inside to Gaara pulling the ropes off
/you two ok!? /
/Is Kakashi going to kill him!? / Neji asked as he watched the two dogs fight, his body began to shake, he really hated seeing his friends in trouble, and right now Kakashi was soaked in blood
/Neji don’t look, just let him do what he has to do, we gotta get out of here! / Gaara stood up and growled darting out of the kennel, he scanned the room and cursed, he was really hoping to at least bite one of those fuckers who’d kidnapped Neji and himself
/Gaara let’s go! / The setter glared at Iruka then sighed seeing Neji, standing there fearfully watching as the two dogs fought, Gaara ran to the smaller pup biting his cheek
/Let’s go! / the two pups darted off running out of the entrance of the warehouse, Iruka shook, he didn’t want to leave, Kakashi had saved his ass, literally, he didn’t feel right about leaving him alone. Kakashi limped over to Iruka, one eye closed, gashes littered his body, he frowned at the brown and sighed
/Let’s go/ Kakashi began to limp out of the warehouse, one of his ears drooped lifelessly on his head, Iruka shook feeling slightly embarrassed, Kakashi had gotten to beat up because of him, if he was more careful Kakashi wouldn’t be so bloody
/I owe you my life…/
/You owe me nothing, I was itching for a fight/ Iruka blushed licking Kakashi’s cheek

Author notes: Three chapter update! Why? Because I have finished writing the fic! I finally have an ending! I had writers block for so long! its finally over! yay! *happy dance* enjoy ^^
