Gaara was so happy that
Neji was back that he couldn�t help himself. He had to touch his black haired
angel every now and then to make sure that he was still there with him. And it
seemed as if Neji didn�t mind it either. As they walked towards Konoha�s gates
their hands were laced together and Neji smiled at Gaara and he got a bright
smile back.

�First of all we need to
see the Hokage again. I must give him my report for this mission. And then there
might be a few times where I have to leave again�� Neji said to Gaara and he
felt his heart cringe when he saw the disappointed look in Gaara�s eyes. �I
don�t like to leave you behind Gaara-chan. If I could I would spend the rest of
my days with you.�

Gaara felt a little bit
assured by his words. He had begun to understand Neji and his place in this
human village.

�Did you find staying
with Hinata-sama and her husband� uhm� It was ok?� asked Neji as he stopped for
a moment to look at Gaara. He was met with a pair of sea green eyes and he could
feel his knees go weak once again. This boy was dangerous Neji thought again
with a soft smile.

��Ina��.� Gaara wanted so
dearly to tell Neji about his nice cousin and what she had taught him about
plants and how Naruto had showed him to feel Neji�s presence. He growled and
closed his eyes and concentrated. �Hhhinnnatta�. Nnnnice�warrrrrm.�

Neji put his hands on
Gaara�s face and you could almost see the tears in his pale eyes as his little
red haired kitten tried his best to tell Neji how his stay at Neji�s cousin were
like.

�Shoooow G�rra herrrrbs��
Gaara continued and patted his stomach and then he patted his arms as if to show
how to use herb to heal wounds.

Neji nodded and silently
asked Gaara to continue. Although most people would probably have trouble
understanding the wild boy, Neji did not. And once Gaara had stopped talking
Neji leaned forward and placed a chaste kiss on Gaara�s forehead.

�Hinata-sama and
Naruto-sama is one of the few people I know that have pure hearts, Gaara-chan.
And Hinata�s heart is big and warm and she�s one of the nicest ladies in all the
lands. And her knowledge of herbs was given to her from her mother.�

Neji told Gaara about his
fight against Hinata during their Chuunin-exams and that earned a punch in the
stomach. Gaara looked furiously at Neji when he heard how Neji almost killed
Hinata. But then he got the reason why and that Neji had asked Hinata to be
forgiven afterwards. And like the tender little girl she was she had just opened
her arms for Neji and hugged him tightly, silently telling him that she never
blamed him for what he had done.

�Not to mention what
Hokage-sama did to me,� Neji began to laugh lightly at the memory. �That boy
really knows how to beat some sense into people. He�s a very good person and I�m
glad that you like him too, Gaara-chan.�

Gaara nuzzled his face
into Neji�s chest and held his white eyed angel close. It didn�t matter that
Gaara couldn�t speak properly as of yet, his angel always understood what he
wanted to tell him. From the corner of his eye he could see that the gates were
not far away and he remembered that Neji wanted to see the Hokage again before
they went home. So he moved away from Neji, grabbed his larger hand and dragged
him off to the tower where the blonde leader resided.

They found Naruto and
Haku sitting in the Hokage�s office and talk about past times. Haku smiled
brightly when he saw the young red headed boy again. He like this youth very
much. He could feel the power that resided inside him but somehow it had not
contaminated his spirit. Haku rose and bowed to the two newcomers and he saw
them do the same towards him.

�Neji-san, Gaara-chan,
I�m glad you�re back,� said Naruto with a wicked smile which brought a blush on
Neji�s face.

There was no doubt that
Neji�s leader knew what had happened between him and Gaara before they got here.
He could probably smell it a mile away.

�Hokage-sama,� said Neji
and bowed.

�Not now, Neji � we�re
all friends here,� said Naruto.

�Naruto� I�m thankful for
your help with Gaara-chan,� said Neji and placed an arm around Gaara�s slim
waist. �From what I�ve heard from Gaara-chan, you did a great job helping him
out.�

�Well, Gaara-chan will
always be welcomed in our home, just as Haku-san here will be. I�ve promised him
that he can use one of our guest rooms until we can find Zabuza-san,� said
Naruto and gave Haku a slight nod.

�I assume that Shino-san
has left a report already?� asked Neji as his eyes came to rest on the feminine
man. He saw that Haku was looking at Gaara and that made Neji really
uncomfortable, almost jealous.

�Yes, he did. And it was
he who told me that we would have at least another hour or so before you came
back to Konoha,� said Naruto.

Haku still had his eyes
on Gaara when he spoke up. �Gaara-san, you�re just like Naruto-san, are you
not?�

Gaara�s eyes widened a
bit before he shot a panic stricken look at a Neji. He didn�t want Neji to hate
him. He could stand for every one else to hate him�. but not Neji, not his
beautiful, black haired angel. But Neji just smiled at him and hugged him close.

�Don�t worry Gaara-chan,�
he mumbled with his lips against the top of Gaara�s head. �I already know of it,
I can feel it.�

Gaara drew in a deep sigh
and burrowed his head into Neji�s chest. He wanted to cry with relief but he
kept from doing so since he was in the presence of others.

�You�re free of duty
until I call you, Neji-san,� said Naruto with his leader voice. �Hopefully it
will be a few days before that happens, it all depends on what we can find out
about Zabuza-san.�

�I understand,
Naruto-sama,� said Neji and bowed and placed his arms around Gaara and smiled
before they both disappeared in a pillar of smoke.

Naruto smiled and turned
his attention back to Haku. �Neji has just met Gaara-chan and I doubt that he
can keep his hands off him for more than five minutes.�

�They look to be very
much in love,� said Haku and gave a smile of his own.

�Yeah, they do� I�m glad
though. Neji have been alone for a very long time and from what I can
understand, so have Gaara too.�

�That boy has something
very strong inside him,� said Haku and looked thoughtful.

�Yeah, I know. But as
long as it is not a threat to my village and my dear ones, that will not
matter,� said Naruto and turned serious again. �He has something locked up
inside him. I can feel its power even though it is hidden quite well. But as I
said � as long as it is not a threat� I will not do anything. Neji�s happiness
means very much to me and to my wife.�

�I understand� Even
though Zabuza-san did not have such a thing inside him he was still very
powerful. And I know that I was feared because of my blood line limit. I know
about the fear that you can invoke inside people. This boy has known much
hatred.�

�I�ve suspected as much
too, Haku-san. But I hope and pray to the gods that with Neji�s and our help and
friendship, he will never feel such things again.�

The two old friends
nodded to Naruto�s last statement and then Naruto asked Haku if he wanted to
join him and Hinata for dinner and the young man agreed to it.

�But first we need to
talk to Sasuke, Sakura-chan and Kakashi-sensei,� said Naruto. �They was the ones
that was with us on that bridge all those years ago, they have a right to know
about this.�

�I will not object to
your request Hokage-sama,� answered Haku and bowed to the leader of Konoha.

�Haku, don�t call me that
while we�re alone, ok��

Haku smiled and promised
that he would try and remember it.

Neji and Gaara appeared
just outside Neji�s house and Neji could feel how his heart swelled as he looked
into Gaara�s beautiful green eyes.

�Ic-nic?� asked Gaara
hopefully as he noticed that the sun had barely passed midday.

�Yeah, we can go on a
picnic if you like, Gaara-chan,� said Neji and kissed his young lover gently. He
wanted so badly to have him all the way but he was still unsure that he would be
able to do it.

But as soon as they
kissed thoughts of a picnic was blown out of their heads. Instead Neji placed
his hands on Gaara�s firm butt and lifted him up. He was pleased to feel those
slender legs form around his waist and he carried his precious little kitten
inside his house. It didn�t take him long to reach the bed room and he sat down
on the edge with Gaara in his lap.

�W-what do you say if we
skip the picnic and head directly on to the kisses?� whispered Neji with thick
voice as he pressed their crotches together.

�Mmm, Neeejii,� cried
Gaara and that was answer enough for the paled eyed Hyuuga.

That sound made Neji the
fastest man in the world. Never had there been such a fast removal of clothes
before. He almost ripped their clothes to pieces in order to be naked with his
little red haired kitten. All thoughts of waiting with things crumbled and all
he could think of at the moment was to be buried inside Gaara.

Neji had just begun to
fondle the small nipples on Gaara�s chest when he heard the most annoying voice
in the world. Neji was going to kill that man� slow and very painfully�

�Lee!!!�

Talk about bad timing.
