I Love You – Chapter 06

“Are you sure you’re okay Naru-kun?” Duo asked tugging his shirt into place.
”Hai hai, I’m fine! Heat’s gone and everything…you gonna’ be okay?” Naruto answered directing his question to Sasuke who was still struggling to get his shorts on.
Sasuke glared at Naruto and said “Fine, I’ll be just fine baka…if you were gonna’ be so worried you shouldn’t have fucked me in the first place.”
Naruto scowled and slammed his hand onto the table where he had been sitting saying “Oi don’t be a fucking ass Sasuke!”
Duo rolled his eyes and ambushed Sasuke from behind tugging the raven haired boy’s shirt over his head “Haiiii be niceeeee please Sassyyyyyyy.” The brunette said fluttering his eyelashes at the older boy.
Sasuke pouted but let Duo tug his arms through the sleeves. Turning the raven haired boy said “Come on Heero and Wufei are probably worried by now…and I don’t want to know what your Tou-san is thinking right about now.” With a shiver at the mention of the older man.
Duo grinned up at Sasuke as he latched onto the raven haired boy’s arm and said “No worries I told them where we were going before we left!”
Sasuke sighed and said “Yeah…two days ago…”
Duo frowned and said “Huh…but if they were really worried they would have come looking for us! See ya later Naru-kun!” the brunette ended waving over his shoulder as he and Sasuke walked out of the apartment.
Naruto watched them go before closing the door and turning to lean against it. It was late already…he’d talk to baa-chan tomorrow…he thought as he made his way over to his bed. Falling into it he took a deep breath before closing his eyes.

…a few days later…
Naruto sighed as he shed his cloths and fell into bed. It’d been another long day of boring missions. Tsunade had given the final a okay that his heat was well and truly over…at least for now…according to her he would probably go into another one in a year…ahhh being him was turning out to be so much fun.
Turning his head he stared at the empty room. It was quiet….had it always been this quiet?...It was lonely…with a shuddered breath he buried his head in his pillow…he could still smell them on his bed…even though he’d changed his sheets twice.
The whole awkward thing? Yeah it seemed he didn’t have to worry about that…Sasuke just acted like nothing had happened while they were out on missions…and he had only seen Duo once since…then…the other boy apparently was in training with ero senin…which would explain why Naruto wasn’t getting any training…at least that’s what he told himself.
It was hard to concentrate on training…he couldn’t help but worry…he hadn’t told baa-chan about…well…everything that had gone on…specifically about Duo and Sasuke…so he had no clue about well…hell he could be pregnant and not even know it right?...what if he did something to hurt the baby?...he sighed and flopped over…this was a bunch of nonsense…he was a guy no way could he get pregnant…still…it bothered him…
Shaking his head the blonde closed his eyes and shifted deeper into his bed…he wondered…what were they doing right about now?...

…next day…
Naruto sat up with a sigh, he hadn’t gotten much sleep…again…damn he was acting like a girl! It’s not like his best friend had died or anything…they’d just fucked him that was all…that’s all it could be…shaking his head he stood up and got dressed.
Taking down a thing of instant ramen he stared at it before putting it back. He wasn’t hungry…he should probably be worried about not eating…but he just didn’t care… with a sigh he slapped his cheeks as he left his apartment. Alright! He was gonna be his normal cheerful self today!
Smiling the blonde took off at a run heading for the spot team seven was meeting this morning. Jumping down from the roof he landed beside Sakura who was giving Duo a death glare…huh…why were Duo, Heero, and Wufei here today? The blonde wondered.
“Ohaiyo mina!” the blonde said happily grinning at everyone.
“Ohaiyo Naru-kun!” Duo responded with his own grin at the blonde before saying “we’re gonna’ be tagging along todayyyyy.”
“Ohhh? Sounds like funnn.” Naruto responded in a sing song voice…he wanted to touch Duo…it was the norm…after all he was his master…but…it was different now…he didn’t think the normal petting and being petted thing was gonna work…at least…not for him…even if he did want the other to touch him affectionately…
Sasuke lifted an eyebrow at the blonde…by this point Naruto was usually snuggled into Duo’s side and getting his ear scratched…or something…the baka…was being weird…was it because of that?...
Duo tilted his head at Sasuke before shaking it off as just another one of the raven haired boy’s quirks…he had a few bones to pick with the onyx eyed boy…he hadn’t gotten any since they’d left Naruto’s!...and Duo was not a happy shinigami about that…it’s not like they hadn’t wanted to…but every time they got started…something just seemed to be missing…and the brunette had a sneaking suspicion he knew what that was.
“Baka Naruto what took you so long?” Sakura screeched out clenching her fists.
Naruto blinked and looking around said “Oi Sakura-chan what are you upset about? Kakashi-sensei isn’t even here yet you know…”
Sakura opened her mouth to say something only for a puff of smoke to fill the air before clearing to reveal Kakashi in all his one eyed glory.

…a few days later…
Naruto let out a long sigh as he sat on the rail of the bridge. He’d arrived at the meet up location way early…he was the only one here in fact. He felt like crap…he had little to no appetite, and was hardly sleeping…and according to that bastard fox Kurama…it would continue like this unless he…well…he didn’t wanna think about it…it was kinda pathetic…even though…
Letting out another sigh he frowned as he watched the water run under the bridge. Truth be told…to…just to touch them…that would be enough…but…he couldn’t bring himself to...they were happy he couldn’t just insert himself in that…he’d never forgive himself if he ruined things between them.
“Wow, a down Naru-kun? Never thought I’d see the day.” A voice said right behind Naruto.
Naruto jolted and slowly turned to face the brunette behind him “Oh…ohaiyo Duo-san, Sasuke-san.” The blonde said with a smile up at the group.
Heero lifted an eyebrow, he and Wufei were now apparently invisible?...how odd…
Duo blinked and said “San…did you just say san? He did didn’t he Sassy!”
Sasuke frowned down at the blonde and said “Hai…he did..oi baka…the hell is up?”
Naruto blinked and climbing to his feet turned and walked away from the group saying “Iie, nothing’s up…”
Duo tilted his head and said “Oi don’t walk away from us.”
Naruto turned and leaned against a tree, crossing his arms over his chest he said “What are you talking about Duo-san?” his head down his bangs hiding his eyes.
Duo stormed over to the blonde and placed his hand on the other’s forehead. “Don’t touch me!” Naruto exclaimed jerking back as if he’d been bit.
Sasuke stalked behind Duo and crossing his own arms said “Oi…this…this is way too familiar…you’re not in heat again are you baka?”
Naruto flushed scarlet and shaking his head said “Iie!” before his eyes skirted over Heero and Wufei…who didn’t seem surprised…Duo had told them hadn’t he?...letting out a sigh the blonde added “Iie..I’m…I’m not in heat okay…so just leave it.”
Duo tilted his head and crossing his arms said “Your pregnant aren’t you?”
Naruto jerked and sputtered and said “Iie!” shaking his head in denial.
Sasuke rubbed the bridge of his nose before saying “Bakas…it’s only been a week…it’s way too early to tell…”
Duo blinked up at Sasuke and said “Oh is it?...huh…well what the hell do I know about pregnancy anyway!”
“Wait wait…pregnant?” Wufei interrupted looking flummoxed.
Heero’s brain was ticking away with how that could even be possible…well…leave it to Duo to find the one guy he might be able to knock up…
“So what’s going on Naru-kun?” Duo demanded leaning forward so he was about a breath away from the blonde. Duo blinked as he noticed something “Hey Naru are you getting enough sleep? You’ve got bags under your eyes…” the brunette said worry creeping into his voice.
Naruto looked away from the other boy holding himself still he didn’t say anything…if he said anything now….kami he was afraid he’d start begging or something…and he could do that…not again…damn…couldn’t Duo just give him some breathing space?
Sasuke narrowed his eyes and said “Oi baka, are you trying to not get between me and Duo again? Didn’t I tell you not to think too hard about it?”
Naruto’s head snapped forward and he growled out “Oi don’t talk like you understand teme! You have no clue what’s going on in my heart!”
“NARUTO BAKA! Don’t you dare yell at Sasuke-kun!” Sakura yelled getting there just in time to catch Naruto’s yell.
Sasuke snapped a hand out and grabbed the advancing kunoichi by her collar. “Shut the hell up…in fact why don’t you leave? We’re having a grown-up discussion here and kiddies shouldn’t be a part of it.” The raven haired avenger growled at the girl tossing her behind him.
Not even glancing at the pink haired kunoichi he stormed over to Naruto and slammed his hand into the tree behind Naruto before demanding “Why don’t you tell us then baka? We’re not mind readers you know.”
Duo leaned back into Sasuke running his eyes over the blonde…damn…when had the blonde lost weight?...he was a crappy master!...but…he didn’t feel like a master anymore…not towards Naruto anyway, Kurama was still firmly in that place…but not the blonde boy.
Naruto shifted his eyes away again his face a mask of misery before he closed his eyes and said “I…I can’t…it’s…it’s too complicated…”
Duo sighed and said “I don’t think it is Naru-kun, I think it’s really simple actually. I Love You.”
As Duo whispered those three little words Naruto jerked to stare at the brunette before shaking his head as if in denial. “You can’t!...You have Sasuke you…” he stopped as Duo put a hand over the blonde’s mouth ending the tirade before it could begin.
“Don’t tell me what I can and can’t do, Naru. I love you, and I love Sassy it’s just that simple really.” The brunette said giving the other boy a dazzling grin.
Naruto could only stare at the pair before him…his mind in a daze as Duo elbowed Sasuke. “What?” the raven haired boy asked blinking and looking down at Duo…the other boy had to have known that didn’t hurt right?...
Duo let out an exasperated sigh before saying “Why must you be so difficult! Just tell him already!”
Sasuke looked away and said “I have no idea what you’re talking about Duo…”
Duo rolled his eyes and said “Oh sure you don’t…and I’ve been getting laid nightly too.”
Sasuke blushed scarlet and said “Hey!”
Heero frowned and turned around…if this conversation was leading where he was sure it was leading…he was not sticking around to see it…so grabbing Wufei he dragged the other boy away saying “See you two back at the compound…”
”Kay,” Duo replied.
Sakura blinked and looked back and forth “Would someone tell me what the hell is going on!” she demanded.
“Ah I think we’re gonna’ put off today’s mission, come on Sakura let’s go this way!” Kakashi said suddenly appearing and grabbing the girl before making a hasty exit. Kids these days…ahhhh the flames of youth…he was going to have to wash his mind out…he must have been hanging out with Gai too much…the silver haired man thought as the jumped away with the girl.
Naruto glanced at Sasuke before blinking in confusion…what exactly was Duo trying to get at?...was he rubbing it in?...that didn’t seem right…Duo wasn’t that kind of person.
“I…I don’t get it…” he finally said biting his lip.
“It means that without you there we can’t…well…get it up…” Duo said blushing and looking away from bright blue eyes.
Naruto’s own eyes widened a slight blush rushing up his cheeks…he…he meant that…without him…they…so they hadn’t…hadn’t had sex…without him…he felt a small smile tugging at his lips…kami why did that make him so happy…
Sasuke let out a long sigh before saying “I get it okay…I…love you both…too…” his face tomato red as he stared at the tree over Naruto’s shoulder.
“See! We both love you! And each other!...An odd little love triangle…but…um I…um how…um…how do you…feel about us Naruto?” Duo said ending on an almost uncertain tone.
Naruto blinked and realized that Sasuke was looking just as apprehensive as Duo was at that question. Naruto glanced away gulping…how the hell was he supposed to say this…I mean…seriously…this was so embarrassing…
Duo fidgeted and clutched at Sasuke…did…did that mean that Naruto didn’t feel the same?....Sasuke gritted his teeth…of all times for the blonde to clamp up…now had to be the worst possible one.

The End:

And I think that’s all the Japansese I used, if I need to add suffix translations let me know :D, also I went with translations that were meant. For example baa-chan can be grandmother, but I went with granny because that’s what Naruto meant.
