Summary: Semi-AU (Right now. Possible complete AU, depending on how the series ends). Failure is ALWAYS an option.
AN: The “Chitose Tsukuyomi” and “Edo Tensei Gisei” are jutsu that I created that are variations on the original Tsukuyomi and Edo Tensei respectively (duh). The Chitose Tsukuyomi is self-explanatory; “chitose” means “thousand-year.” Edo Tensei Gisei literally translates to “Impure World Resurrection Sacrifice,” and it is able to revive any soul, even those imprisoned by the Shiki Fujin, because it uses three people as a sacrifice instead of just one. Also, everything that I say about Tobi in here is Wild Mass Guessing unless we know it to be true (personally I think he’s like some bastardized version of a kid between Hashirama and Madara, because we all know he’s and Uchiha [maybe?] and how he claims to have mastered the Senju DNA, and how freaky his blood is and stuff. Maybe Madara grew him like a plant before he kicked the bucket for real? Or he could be Edo Tensei!Izuna or something). Also also, anything I say about the Mugen Tsukuyomi is just my thoughts on it and what it can do / could be done with it. Title taken from TvTropes.

“Tomorrow makes thirty years.”
“It does, doesn’t it?” Madara leaned against the doorframe of the Jinchuuriki’s room, noting the lines still under the other man’s eyes. For all that things had changed, some things remained the same. Of course, the reason behind it had, but still... "Who was it this time? That Senju woman? The pinkie? The brat’s girl?”
“All three.” Tobi sipped at his sake, settling in his chair as he watched the blood red moon slide up over the horizon.
The former clan head found himself smirking faintly. “Thirty years of that, and it never gets old,” he said with a soft chuckle.
“What, the sex or the Mugen Tsukuyomi?”
“Both, of course.” The Uchiha pushed off the doorframe. “I’m surprised that old broad is still alive after all this time. She wasn’t exactly in the best of shape.”
“Some of the Uzumaki restoration jutsus worked wonders, even in her condition.” The host of the Ten Tails took another sip of his drink, surveying his domain through the open window. “But I was surprised with how well they worked. It might be worth sending a few out into the villages – what’s left of them, anyway – to look for scrolls looted from Uzushio.”
Madara nodded in agreement, stealing the sake bottle to take a brief swig before passing it back. “The Resistance could use to be take down a few pegs, too,” he commented absently, “Should we remind them who their benevolent tyrants are at the same time?”
The other man smirked behind the mask he wore, even after all these years. “Two birds with one stone? Sounds like a plan to me. Let me know when you want me to adjust the framework.”
For all that Tobi was a powerful Sharingan user, he still had only one of the Copy Wheel eyes, the other long lost to his fight with Konan so many decades ago. Though strong, one wasn’t enough to maintain a complete Mugen Tsukuyomi. As a result, he split the burden with the real Madara: he handled the structure, the main weave of the genjutsu, while the other Uchiha dealt with the detail, all of the minutiae that kept people from realizing they were trapped in a massive illusion. The perfect Duumvirate.
“Hm, maybe tomorrow. I finally got my pet back, so I’m eager to go forward with our reunion.” The former clan head turned to go.
“I’m impressed he was able to hold off the Tsukuyomi’s influence for so long,” Tobi admitted, “even after we adjusted it to bring him back in.”
“I am, too,” Madara stated, tilting his head back to look up at the ceiling of their stronghold, “He almost reached the Resistance. I was considering putting him through the Chitose Tsukuyomi as a punishment, but maybe I’ll use the Edo Tensei Gisei on his brother and put him through it instead.”
Tobi laughed softly. “And that is lessening the punishment… how?”
“It’s not, not really.” The Uchiha smirked over his shoulder. “But as much as I enjoy knowing that he hasn’t broken yet, maybe he’ll be less likely to make escape attempts if he knows that it’s his family that will be suffering instead. Even though I do so love playing ‘Cat and Mouse’ with him.”
The other man snorted. “I’ll have three lesser nin sent to your room, and a sample of his DNA.”
“Much obliged.” Madara strode from the room and headed down the hall towards the stairwell. Though it had changed greatly from what he remembered when he first returned, the Uchiha could still recall how the halls of the building had looked when they were newly made. He brushed his hand along the banister as he descended to the ground floor, shinobi parting before him like he was Moses. The red-eyed warrior strode through the streets of Konoha as though he had never left, making for his clan’s compound. For all that he wished he was strong, that little rogue brat – Sasuke, was it? – had fallen under the global genjutsu quickly enough, along with the village he sought to destroy. Ah, well. He got one part of his wish, and now he was getting the other,
The former clan head ignored the lusty sounds coming from one of the other residences in the compound, instead making his way toward the main house. The guards around the house let him in without even flinching. As promised, there were three random nin of little importance waiting inside, one of whom was carrying the scroll and gene sample he needed. He unrolled the scroll, and unceremoniously dumped the required DNA sample into the center of the ink marking, forming the necessary hand seals.
In seconds, the three screaming sacrifices turned into one dazed former Kage. The Uchiha immediately snared him in another genjutsu to keep him complacent, then heaved him further into the house, carelessly dragging him along behind him like he was little more than luggage.
He snapped open the shoji leading to the master bedroom, allowing himself a smirk when he spotted the strong male figure sprawled out on his bed. He dropped the former Kage on the floor before the bed, and sat on the edge, swinging his legs up onto the mattress. Almost tenderly, Madara brushed a few dark strands out of the unconscious man’s face. Then he seized the long brown locks, twisted cruelly, and pulled.
Hashirama woke with a gasp of pain, reflexively trying to escape the Uchiha’s unforgiving grip. A chain of chakra bound his wrists tight before he could do any damage, pulling them behind his back. “That was very foolish of you, Shodaime-sama,” Madara mocked, his voice low and dangerous, “I expected better of you so take your punishment like a man.” The Sharingan user yanked the former Hokage onto all fours, the chain snaking its way around his torso and upper arms.
The Shodaime inhaled sharply in shock and horror when he saw his brother, revived in the same manner that he had been, limp on the floor, eyes glazed. “No,” he gasped, “No! Leave him out of this! I’m the one-!”
Madara jerked the chain, cutting him off. “You do not value your own life,” he said coldly, “and so I must punish you with one whose life you do value.” He flicked his gaze over to the Nidaime – who gasped in paian, writhing and crying out as the Uchiha’s genjutsu turned from placation to torture.
“NO!” Hashirama fought the chain, the red-eyed man’s grip, only to be slammed back onto the bed as fresh screams escaped his brother.
“As pleased as I am to see that I haven’t broken you yet,” the Uchiha purred into his ear, his voice like ice-fire, “this. Is. Your. Punishment.” He yanked the Hokage’s hips up, the other nin recognizing his intent. He tried to twist out of Madara’s grip, but the chakra chain refused to yield.
A callused hand seized his cock, beginning to stroke him to full arousal even as his brother screamed in agony. Hashirama hardened at the other man’s touch, and he buried his face in the bed sheets, ashamed. That is, until Madara said, “Watch. Or your wife and child are next.”
