Disclaimer: I do not own Naruto, nor any of the characters from it. I do not make any money from the writing of this story. |
Summary: Definitely an AU; Naruto has been
taken away from Konoha at a very young age by a strange psychotic woman who has
a similar past to Uchiha Itachi’s and is incredibly cruel and cold. Due to her
training, he becomes extremely
powerful, but also twisted kinda like her. He returns to Konoha when he is 14,
just after the war with Orochimaru has been ended, and turns everyone’s life upside down. What are his intentions
exactly, who is his sensei and WHAT THE HELL DID HE DO WITH ITACHI!!!!!!
Disclaimer: I
don’t own it,’s all. This has nothing to do with the actual plot. It's just a
sick and twisted fic made from this insane mind of mine so unless you don't
want to sue a lunatic, don’t try me -__-

Chapter 6:
It just wasn’t her day. First, she
had to stay up late working, then she didn’t get much sleep because she had to
get up early, Kakashi was supposed to meet her three hours ago, and then
someone told her that Naruto’s sensei had wrecked and demolished an entire inn
and all its customers had to be hospitalized with serious injuries. Sure, they
wouldn’t die, but just the sight of their wounds made her want to throw up.
They had all been castrated for god’s sake! And as a medical nin, she
could say that Shimouri hadn’t even tried being the least bit nice. What was
with that woman anyway?
Tsunade frowned, feeling the
beginnings of a terrible headache taking over. She massaged her temples with
her fingers and looked up at the papers she had on her desk. They were files
with the names of the poor men who were unfortunate enough to meet Shimouri,
and she was the poor woman who had been unfortunate enough to become the
hokage. With a deep breath, she opened them…and then closed them
immediately…okay…they would survive, that was the main point. Other
things…like their broken ribs, broken arms and legs in many places, sprained
ankles, broken noses, bruised throats, broken teeth…or that castration...
were just minor injuries…oh FUCK!! She groaned. ‘Who am I kidding? How can I
fare with a person who’s wiped out her entire clan and made the Kyuubi brat a
slut?! And now…she’s beaten those men into…well…this!! ARGH!! I need a
drink!!!’ she slammed her head on the table, increasing her headache, but
at that minute she didn’t care…it helped her forget about her problems at
least.
“Hokage-sama!” Shizune marched into
the office in a panic, searching around for any sign of danger, but looked
confused when the only thing she saw was the village leader slamming her head
repeatedly on the table…well, if that could be considered a normal thing, that
is.
“Um, Hokage-sama?” she asked
uncertainly, yet Tsunade ignored her and kept slamming her head on her desk.
Just as she was about to call to her again, Tsunade raised her left hand to
indicate she was listening.
“Um…Shimouri-san is here to-”
Shizune wasn’t able to finish her sentence; Shimouri strode in silently, long
sleeves trailing behind her, her expression cold as usual. Shizune hissed in
displeasure, her face getting worried and she coughed, trying to warn the
hokage of her presence, but Shimouri beat her to it.
“As much as the sight of you banging
your head on the table is entertaining, I’m not here to see that, Tsu-chan,”
Tsunade’s head snapped at her smooth voice, her forehead slightly red from her
previous actions. The hair on the back of her neck stood up from the
unspoken threat that lingered in the air, and then she realized she had been
called ‘Tsu-chan’, something only her mother had called her. She scowled
inwardly at that. At least her mother had used it with affection…she doubted
that Shimouri was being nice.
“Shizune, please leave us,” she
ordered, and the young medic nin obeyed, bowing before locking the door behind
her. Shimouri gave the door a cold glare before she settled her eyes on the
Hokage. Tsunade felt a shiver run down her spine from that glare and as much she
didn’t want to admit it, she felt very nervous being alone with her.
“You made a few shinobi lose their
jobs last night, but I highly doubt you’ve come to apologize,” Tsunade stated
firmly. Shimouri closed her eyes in annoyance and walked over to the
chair opposite the hokage. She sat down without permission and crossed her
legs. Only then did she look back at Tsunade.
“Right you are, Tsu-chan. I’m
not here for that,” she said calmly.
“Well then, what are your reasons?
Don’t forget that you should be arrested for what you’ve done.” Tsunade
frowned when a smirk appeared on Shimouri’s face.
“Ah, I suppose you should arrest
me… I’d love to dare you to do it, but since I have other things
to tell you, let’s just skip that for now,” she said, crossing her arms over
her chest. Tsunade didn’t comment. She felt it would result in Shimouri
actually daring her to do it and then she wouldn’t find out what she wanted.
“Ichibi is coming,” Shimouri stated
calmly. Tsunade frowned, confused. She didn’t quite understand what
she was saying, but figured Shimouri would explain…or at least, she hoped
so. She didn’t like being left in the dark.
“Ichibi, as in the one-tailed demon,
Tanuki. Shukaku of the Hidden Village of Sand who is sealed inside Subaku
no Gaara. He is currently on his way to Konoha and will be reaching the
main gates in about…eighty minutes?” she asked, sounding as if she was talking
to an idiot. Tsunade’s vein popped at being talked to like that, but she had
other matters to take care of. Like for example…
“And why are you telling me that?
I’ve already been informed that Subaku no Gaara and his siblings, Temari and
Kankuro, are coming to Konoha as ambassadors of Sand…”
“Yes,” Shimouri hissed softly, “And
I’m sure then you’ve also been informed that demons attract each other, and
since Naruto tends to act kinda slutty, it might result in him and Gaara going
at it like bunnies…but since Naruto already has a lover, and since Gaara is a
little like me, I’ve heard, it’d cause big problems for Konoha… but since you’ve
been informed, I presume you know all of this and that I don’t have to tell you
anything more,” she purred, causing Tsunade to pale a bit.
“Masaka… (Impossible)” she mumbled
incoherently.
“Now, now, Tsu-chan,” Shimouri
scoffed with something akin to amusement, yet her face remained cold as usual,
“I hope you don’t want me to count all of the men Naruto has slept with to
prove that he can jump in bed with the vessel of Shukaku… if he wants
to, that is,” her eyes narrowed.
Tsunade sighed. She really didn’t
want to know that, since it would only remind her of the fact that Naruto
wasn’t even fully developed the first time he had sex. "There’s no
need to,” she replied with a sigh and motioned for her to continue.
Tsunade noticed Shimouri seemed rather tired. ‘Maybe it’s from the
fight she caused last night,’ she thought with a snarl.
“Fine then,” Shimouri sighed, “Now
what I wanted; is to warn you,” Tsunade’s brows rose at this,” I’ve already
told you that you hold no power over Naruto’s actions and decisions, but you
ought to be reminded that you also hold no power over me.”
Now Tsunade was lost. She had no idea where Shimouri was aiming,
but it definitely wasn't where her own thoughts were.
“You’re confused, I presume.
Not unexpected,” she scoffed, clearly mocking Tsunade, “so let’s
go straight to the point optional comma then. Itachi is here,”
Tsunade nearly fell over at this,
gripping the table firmly to steady herself. “Here? As in…?”
“In the Fire country. He shall reach
Konoha very soon. That is, assuming he finishes his ‘work’ first.” she
remarked dryly. “And with him being so close to Konoha, Naruto’s hormones
are going to get really wild,” she said, smirking coldly with a strange glint
in her eyes. “So basically, he’s going to…well, you know…” she said
slyly.
Tsunade silently wondered if she
could punch her, at least once…and then try to apologize…say that her fist just
acted of its own accord. But before she could consider it even more,
Shimouri stood up and strode to the door without a second glance.
“I just thought that you should know
it, since you are the one who’s going to have to solve the incoming
problems.” She left Tsunade alone to wonder about it.
Moments later, the dull sound of
Tsunade continuously slamming her head against the table could be heard.
‘Shit…’
Slam.
‘Shit…’
Slam.
‘Shit…’
Slam.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
Naruto was pouting. Last night he
had failed to find neither Kakashi nor Sasuke…mainly because of his sensei,
whom he had found…with bloody hands and a really creepy smile. He
hadn’t been able to get rid of that image the entire night. He shuddered.
No matter how much time had he spent with Shimouri, he still couldn’t get used
to her creepy smiles…if she smiled, that is. And when she did
smile, that meant someone was about to get his or her ass sent to the moon.
Last night he had failed to find either
Kakashi or Sasuke…mainly because of his sensei, whom he had found…
Literally.
He grimaced as he remembered the
last time Shimouri smiled…and silently he prayed for the poor guy to get over
the loss of his member…
He winced and stood up form his
sleeping place, which happened to be some tree in some forest in
who-knows-where. He remembered not wanting to return to the Hyuuga mansion last
night and chose the tree instead. He found the change kind of
refreshing. Although he was sure he wouldn’t find it very refreshing
after Hiashi found him. He thought he’d probably scold him for being a
disrespectful brat.
Maybe he would lie to him and say he
was training and got very exhausted? He nodded his head, absolutely sure that
it would work, since he had always been good at lying. For example, there were
times when Naruto was so desperate to have sex that the man he would sleep with
would be so damn boring in bed and good for nothing that he wanted to say,
“jeez…did you even put your dick in the right place? ‘coz I didn’t feel
anything…and do you have a dick?” but then he would end up saying, “um…that was
wonderful,” just for the sake of it…and also because Shimouri had taught not to
make unnecessary enemies….okay, make it she had told him, “If I ever find some
fucking no-name freak following me just because you told him he was bad in bed,
I’ll castrate you and make an omelet from your eggs.”
He shuddered. Sometimes
reminiscing just wasn’t good. He stood up and winced at his sore backside; it
almost felt as if he had had sex last night…which he hadn’t, to his great
disappointment. Sex was sometimes a very good way to let out some steam and
since Naruto was always full of steam, he had to relieve himself more often… ‘Ah,
what a lame excuse,’ Naruto frowned. He had sex because it was great.
And that reminded him of
something…he grimaced, trying to remember what he wanted, and then he realized
that he had been planning to visit Sasuke or Kakashi last night…and he’d
failed.
‘Oh well, time to introduce myself
better to Kakashi-san then,’ he grinned and leapt from who-knows-where to where Kakashi’s
trail of chakra was leading him to. Silently he thanked Shimouri-sensei for
ever telling him about his tracking possibilities and about the many ways he
could use them to his advantage. He surveyed his surroundings while jumping
from roof to roof, remembering each corner and making a possible escape route
plans, just in space case
Shimouri decided to pull some stunt like the last time when she had attacked a
member of one very important clan of assassins just because he had looked at
her breasts (and god they are huge, and with that top, no wonder). His lips
curved into a smile as he remembered their faces when she destroyed their
headquarters and turned it into ashes just using her left hand.
‘Sore losers,’ he thought, and stopped
mid-jump. He landed on the roof safely and took a good look around, sniffing the air and concentrating on
every little move, smell, or sound. His blue eyes stayed focused even when some
wild bird flew just in front of his face, looking far behind the horizon. His
left brow twitched in annoyance for no reason at all and mentally he slapped
himself for “turning” into a second Shimouri, who had the tendency to get
annoyed for nothing and everything. His eyes narrowed for a while before relaxing
again, his expression becoming rather arrogant and smug compared to the one
before.
“Got you, Kakashi-san,” Naruto said
with a purr, and with amazing speed, moved in the direction of his desire. He
was sure it was Kakashi’s chakra. He
could still taste its musky flavor on his tongue. The feeling and taste
were original themselves, spicy and very delicious for Naruto. Kakashi’s chakra
was pulsing very softly in the distance, getting louder and louder, which
indicated that he was nearing his oh-so-beloved-and-wanted target. Suddenly he
stopped and jumped on some building, his eyes directed at an opened window. He
licked his lips.
“Perfect,” he mumbled. The jounin
was still sleeping, snoring softly against the pillow which he had his head
buried in. His lower body and limbs were tangled into the sheets while his arms
and torso stayed naked to one’s eye. Naruto noticed how with each breath the
jounin’s muscles moved in an almost erotic fashion. He suddenly felt very hot.
He hopped into Kakashi’s room silently, landing on the floor next to his bed,
and took a moment to look around the room since the person he was interested in
was currently sleeping. He noted the fact that Kakashi still hadn’t woken up,
meaning he didn’t know someone even was in his vicinity. Naruto sucked on his
own finger, licking seductively.
Of course Kakashi couldn’t sense
him. Shimouri had taught him chakra perfect control and everything that went
with it. And he was very thankful for that, since it gave him a very good
chance to get even closer to Kakashi without being afraid of waking him up.
With that, he took few steps to
Kakashi’s bed, marveling at the sight of the half-naked man, and as quietly as
he could, he sat on bed next to his body. Kakashi moved in his sleep, ending up
facing Naruto, moving his arms behind his head. Naruto looked at his pink
nipples and bit his lower lip to prevent from licking them erect. Of course he
had a nice plan of waking Kakashi up, but teasing his nipples would be just too
much for the jounin. Although, trying wouldn’t kill him, he thought. After all,
he was very good at being quite and sneaking in and out, so he decided he could
leave at any minute without actually getting spotted. With that, he reached to
stroke the firm chest, muscles twitching under his skilled fingers, and he
marveled the feeling he got when he touched the hot skin. Kakashi frowned a
bit, slowly slipping back to reality. Naruto frowned and moved to sit on
Kakashi’s waist, straddling him, thus waking him up. Naruto grinned as he
realized that even though the jounin felt the weight on him, he wasn’t reacting
it to it because he didn’t feel any foreign chakra. So, the blond boy released
some of his chakra, letting it seep across the room. The moment he did
so, Kakashi’s eyes widened and he reached for the kunai lying on the table next
to the bed, but before his fingers could even brush against it, Naruto had his
arms pinned over his head.
“Na…Naruto?” Kakashi’s raspy voice
sounded nice to Naruto’s ears, though he figured it would soon revert to his
normal voice, since most people had raspy voices in early mornings. He smirked
and leaned in.
“Hisashiburi da ne (It’s been a long
time), Kakashi-san,” he whispered, but instead of kissing Kakashi he only lay
down next to him, making sure to bring their bodies as close as possible,
burying his head in Kakashi’s pillow and inhaling his musky scent filled with
his own presence. He felt Kakashi move next to him and was relieved when the
older jounin didn’t get up, but only moved so he was facing Naruto.
“Naruto, what are you doing here?”
he asked, gaining Naruto’s attention. The boy looked at him calmly before
resuming his previous action;
sniffing Kakashi’s pillow.
“I’m visiting you,” Naruto replied
in a strange voice, just as Kakashi was about to repeat his question. The boy
next to him was certainly strange…like for example; he had kissed him on their
first meeting and now he was lying on his bed…next to him…okay, now let’s skip
the fact that Kakashi too wasn’t protesting about having a hot and cute
teenager sprawled on his body. He watched as Naruto’s body relaxed, his
expression changing to an almost childlike one, lips parted softly.
“What are you doing here?” Kakashi
asked again; he needed some…scratch that, he needed many answers, the reason
why Naruto was laying on his bed was one of them.
“Here as in here in your bed, or
here as in here in Konoha?” Naruto asked with a sleepy yet sharp voice.
Kakashi sighed. ‘Boy isn’t dumb
after all.’ “Both,” he said, and Naruto turned to face him, hugging the
pillow close to his body.
“For many reasons, Kakashi-san. But
why I am in Konoha, don’t ask me, but my sensei…actually,” he paused, thinking
it over, “No, don’t ask her, she might kick you in your balls without a
reason,” he shrugged and gave the jounin a lazy eye, making him scratch his
head cluelessly.
“Um…but why are you in my apartment
then?”
“No reason, I just wanted to see you
I suppose, as crazy as it sounds."
“And why are you hugging my pillow?”
Kakashi asked suspiciously.
Naruto blushed and smiled
not-so-innocently, “Well, if you mind I can hug something else.” True to his
word, he jumped on Kakashi, hugging him tightly around his waist.
Kakashi suddenly felt really warm, a
strange feeling dwelled in his lower abdomen and he had to imagine some
seriously bad images to get rid of his hard-on.
“You have a really nice smell,
Kakashi-san,” Naruto whispered, his face pressed against Kakashi’s abdomen.
Like that, he felt perfectly content and calm, blood flowing through his veins
with no haste, like the flow of a wide river, but he knew he was making the
older man uncomfortable. He tended to do that unconsciously due to his
appearance and other things, but he felt strangely relieved that the
silver-haired jounin wasn’t actually trying to molest him or anything.
“Naruto…” Kakashi trailed off, not
really knowing what to say. He was supposed to meet with the Hokage in…well, he
was supposed to meet her an hour ago (three hours ago?), but the time alone
wasn’t the question; he just sincerely didn’t know what to do in a situation
like that. Saying “It’s okay” was absolutely out of question, since he didn’t
even know if there was something wrong, or if the blond was just randomly
playing with him. Patting him on head was out of the question too, since
he felt that he might offend Naruto of he did that. Jumping him was also,
unfortunately, out of question, god bless his good self-control. “Naruto
you-“
“’s fine,” Naruto replied, unlatching
himself from Kakashi who sighed wearily, giving the boy a hopeless look before
flopping down next to Naruto, making him laugh.
“What should I do with you?” he
asked desperately, which only resulted in making Naruto laugh harder. Kakashi
watched him lazily, trying to ignore how his heart started to beat faster as he
took in the sight of the very cheery Naruto, his face smiling and eyes dancing
with amusement. His look lowered down, seizing him from up to down, taking in
each small curve of his lithe tanned body. Those loveable pink lips, the
long swan-like neck, even his lower abdomen that had showed sometime during his
laughing fit when he had accidentally brushed against the rim of his shirt and
caused it to roll up. He noticed how low Naruto’s pants were, embracing
his hips very tightly while they were quite loose lower. He knew he was
checking him out, but he also knew that Naruto was only about fourteen and that
he was in his late twenties, so he couldn’t just help himself. The boy
was too beautiful for his own good, and he must have been aware of that since
he had stopped laughing the moment he saw Kakashi watching him in a ‘different’
way. Naruto was used to those lustful glances, but what he found strange was
the pure admiration and astonishment and also…was it respect? Or shame?
Probably a guilt….but somehow, he wasn’t able to recognize the look after all.
Naruto was laying peacefully on
Kakashi’s bed, his legs tangled with sheets, arms resting behind his head,
letting the older man observe him with the same strange look as before.
Somehow, the look made him feel different. He’d always been looked at with
lust, pity, hatred…but not the same desire Kakashi was looking at him with.
“Ne, Kakashi-san,” he mumbled
softly,” how long are you just going to look at me without doing
anything?” It was more suggested than asked, successfully gaining the
jounin’s attention.
“I’m not going to touch you in any
kind of intimate way,” Kakashi said calmly, actually lying more to himself than
to Naruto, who only raised a brow and scooted closer to him.
“Oh really? Then why the strange
look? How long ‘til you get bored? You might be late to your meeting.”
“I am.”
“Huh?” Kakashi sighed at Naruto’s
questioning gaze and took a look at his alarm clock which showed about ten
o’clock a.m. Naruto looked at it too, feeling somewhat confused, leaning even
closer to the other occupant of the small bed.
“I was supposed to meet the
Hokage…um…three hours ago?” he scratched his head nervously and looked down at
Naruto.
Naruto was dangerously close to him,
and with the same innocent big blue eyes. “I see…” He closed his eyes,
thinking, and then backed off of Kakashi, “You better watch out then,” he said,
tucking few wild bangs of his blond hair behind his ears.
Kakashi watched, fascinated, as he
played with his blond locks oh-so-innocently with the sort of naivety one would
love to taint with lust and passion. Only then did he realize that Naruto
had told him to ‘watch out’. “Watch out? And why is that?” he asked, with
his usual bored look and tone, making Naruto sigh.
“Well…my sensei had gone there, so
there’s a chance that you might meet her,” he shrugged, trying to look
nonchalant, but inside he was very nervous.
“Um, I still don’t see the reason."
Naruto sighed wearily. “Well, you
see, I’m pretty sure that you know I’m the vessel of the Kyuubi,” Kakashi’s
brows rose at this, “and I’m…how to say it…her tool, her weapon, her toy she
will dispose of whenever she gets bored. She is the murderer of her entire clan
and to be blunt, she’s a cold, sadistic, psychotic bitch who won’t hesitate to
kill or torture anyone who gets in her way, even an infant, small child, or a
jounin like yourself, for example,” Naruto sighed, and before Kakashi had the
chance to reply, he jumped onto the window frame and prepared to take off.
“I think you should know since I
feel she might not be in a good mood today… meeting her could result in you
being injured…in many ways,” he said very softly, his tone and face dead
serious, catching Kakashi off guard, “And if you by any chance feel an ominous
aura coming in strong waves…then you are the unfortunate one to have met my
sensei, Shimouri of the Kusanage demon clan,” he said, and then jumped to who
knows where, leaving a breathless Kakashi behind.
‘Kusanage…demon…clan…no way…no way
in hell a person of their clan can be alive and in Konoha too…’ he thought, his brows
furrowing in a deep frown, ‘this is not good…not good at all….’
Kakashi was dressed and prepared a
few minutes later, and was already on his way to the Hokage’s office when he
remembered what Naruto had said earlier. If he hadn’t been lying, then
that would mean Konoha was in grave danger. He scowled, not liking the path
where his mind was leading him. He landed in front of the Hokage building
and headed straight for Tsunade’s office, intending to get in as quickly as
possible because there were a few
things he had to ask.
For example, he couldn't understand
how could Naruto just act to freely yet knowing who his sensei was. But most of
all, what caused him his distress was the anxious feeling swelled up in the pit
of his stomach, painfully reminding him of the present situation. Why was a
Kusanage clan member alive and in Konoha? Kakashi couldn’t and wouldn't believe that she was just a ‘nice lady who
took pity on the vessel of Kyuubi and decided to train him' when Naruto himself
had called her many names, including ‘psychotic bitch’.
The Kusanage demon clan…a clan with
a dreadful bloodline, known for being assassins and murderers, ruthless and
very strong, yet naïve.
Power and naiveté…
… were a very bad combination. One
that had resulted in them making a deal with demons and then disappearing to
unknown place, taking all secrets with them.
Kakashi thought they had died, been
wiped out by their own foolishness. No, he was certain of it all just as the
rest of the ninja world was sure of it as well. But now…few words of one
teenager changed his opinion and made him world upside-down and as exaggerated
as it seemed, Kakashi knew that the news of any member if that certain clan
could turn their own beliefs and hopes into nothing but ashes.
He was so preoccupied with his
thoughts as he walked along the quiet corridor, that he didn’t notice anything
until it was too late. The enormous aura bumped into him, catching him entirely
off guard. Dread spread all across his body. The ominous feeling Naruto
had described earlier was coming very near and he felt suddenly drained of all
energy and will to live. His limbs shook uncontrollably from the sudden
low temperature; even his thoughts became chilly and cold. Something squeezed
his heart and it was nearly ripped from his ribcage and then the feeling got
heavier, burdening his shoulders and forcing his legs to bend at the knees. He felt as though some
force was gripping his heart and was about to wrench it from his chest, and he
felt heavy, like an intense weight had been applied to his shoulders, forcing
his knees to buckle.
And then a person stepped in,
walking in slow steps, carrying the unmistakable dark aura of the Kusanage
demon clan, long black hair falling into her face. Her cold face was intense;
jaw clenched tightly, eyes narrowed dangerously. As she walked, the dark
presence seemed to be radiating from her in waves, making the temperature of
corridor drop. Kakashi felt the incredible killing intent as she passed him,
not even sparing him a glare. Her locks brushed against his stiff shoulder and arm, making
him wince. He felt the dread disperse from his whole body, allowing him to turn
around, watching as she walked further and further away from him…
…Until she stopped and turned to
look at him, the corners of her eyes narrowing very slightly, her lips pressed
tightly. Shimouri spared him the glare after all, looking at him intently, as
if trying to tell him something.
“You…were with Naruto just a while
ago,” Kakashi didn’t try to question how she knew about it, since he felt that
he probably wouldn’t be able to formulate a normal sentence due to his frozen
voice. Instead he tried to force his body to calm down at hearing her
smooth, indifferent voice. It sent chills down his spine and he didn’t like it
at all. He knew she was doing it purposely, scaring the shit out of him, but
there was nothing he could do. Not even a whimper.
“He probably hasn’t told you,” she
continued dryly, “But he already has a
lover,” Kakashi frowned and mentally did a dance at being able
to move his mimicry for at least a bit.
"...
Uchiha Itachi," she added, and at that moment, the killing intent died
off, releasing Kakashi from his stupor. Realizing what she just said, he looked
at her, thunderstruck.
“Masaka (Impossible),” he said
shortly, his brain not able to process the information of the infamous Konoha
missing nin being a lover to the Kyuubi vessel.
“Oh? Ask him then, I’m sure the
bouya (Boy) won’t mind telling you about their erotic adventures since he had
been just twelve,” her lips curved into a smirk,” and I’m pretty sure that
he’ll gladly tell you about the adventure with the Hyuuga boy, Neji was his
name,” she continued, blissfully ignoring the anger she was causing Kakashi to
feel.
“He is such a little slut, but, you
know, he is my student, after
all, so I must take care of his safety and be sure that he remains sane,” she
was being so sarcastic Kakashi almost felt he could weight the sarcasm dripping
off her voice.
“You don’t reek of sex, so he hasn’t
gotten into your pants yet…yet…” she smirked even more,” I hope you do realize
that you are just falling into his trap to get you in bed, that he has no sort
of bond to any of you.”
“And I’m sure he has a bond with
Itachi,” he snapped.
Her eyes narrowed as she turned to
look fully at him, deep brown eyes boring into his mind. “He does; he loves
him, adores him, lusts for him, wants to be with him and wants to be only his
and nothing in this world can change it,” she hissed. The ominous feeling
returned yet again, “Not with you, not with the Hyuuga brat or anyone else from this fucked-up village full
of idiotic, cocky pricks,” Shimori was getting very angry, eyes going slightly
silver.
“He is mine, my tool, my weapon and
he only listens to me and Itachi so if you still cannot get it in your thick
head, I might just help you,” she snarled dangerously and took a step towards
Kakashi, her eyes sharp and narrow, bloodline appearing instead of her usual
brown eyes.
Kakashi felt the dread again and
this time he knew he was screwed. He knew he stood no chance against the member
of their clan, no matter how much he tried. He was astonished when he saw
her eyes change, gaining a bright silver color, four dots circling on the ring
around pupil.
And then, as suddenly it happened,
it quieted, her bloodline vanished and her eyes became brown again. The
temperature in corridor rose , lifting the chill from Kakashi.
“You are lucky today,
Hatake…Kakashi,” her cold voice cut into his thoughts, “But next time we meet,
I will finish you off,” it was not an empty threat but a promise, “Or I am not
named Kusanage Shimouri.”
Kakashi slumped to the floor,
breathing heavily, when he felt she was far enough away. He was wondering what
had saved him from being killed when Tsunade walked in. Her
forehead was suspiciously red, as if she had been banging it against something.
“Kakashi!” she gasped and rushed to
him, “What happened?” Tsunade checked for any sort of injuries but frowned when
she found none. Kakashi just looked at her, totally exhausted, and his body
finally gave in, sweating and shivering profusely.
“Well…I met Shimouri…and she told me
she’s going to finish me off the next time…that’s all.” He sighed, rubbing his
temples. Tsunade soon joined him, leading the way back to her office. The
ANBU guards gave Kakashi a strangled looks when they saw he was limping
slightly and his skin was unhealthy pale, but Tsunade rushed them to their work
and closed the door behind her.
She leaned against the wall and
seized Kakashi with a firm, serious look. “Kakashi, I think you should
know some things….”
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“You are allowed to pass; Hokage-sama is
already waiting for you,” the guard stated as the three sand siblings passed by
him, completely ignoring his words. Maybe it was because of the intimidating redhead that the guard hadn’t said anything else to them, or maybe
just because the man was too tired to do so, being up all the night til the
morning kind of getting to his nerves. Gaara spared him a glare, at which the
man shuddered, and stepped through the gates, officially entering the Hidden Village
of Leaf.
Gaara was frowning, as always, while Temari and Kankuro were
looking around the village. The place hadn’t changed at all, remaining as ever
as before, still as sunny and as calm, yet with many strong ninjas…and weak and
stupid too. Temari sighed for many obvious reasons; she knew she would meet the
smartass shadow guy, she knew Kankuro would not behave, and she definitely knew
that something was going to happen with or to Gaara. And something happening to
Gaara, be it male PMS or just some stupid red letters wasn’t good.
She sighed again, inwardly frowning
while outwardly keeping her cool façade. Kankuro was ogling some chicks on the
street buying…well, stuff she didn’t recognize, never actually having been the
person to go shopping for groceries or stuff like that herself. She looked down
next to her ‘little’ brother, who couldn’t be called little anymore when he was
just an inch shorter then she was, and relaxed a bit when his face showed no
signs of bloodlust or any kind of anger. True, Gaara had calmed down a bit
since their last encounter with the Leaf ninja, but was still unable to
understand many things such as love or friendship or bonds between humans
generally. (now that I think of it…Gaara woudn’t have fought Naruto in
this…O.O it’s weird thinking about it…so who ended up whipping Gaara’s
ass and changing him to a ‘good guy’?) Temari knew he just needed someone
to help him understand, but the problem was that nobody in their home village
had any kind of interest of being “the demon’s” friend, not speaking of love. She scoffed at that,
picturing someone spreading his or her arms and running to Gaara saying “I love
you!” and mentally winced as ‘Gaara’ used his most efficient killing technique
on that person in her so-called imagination.
‘Well, getting close to Gaara is
still risky,’ she thought, frustrated from all the thinking and talking without any
fucking rest because of Gaara, and decided that clearing her mind and focusing
it on the weather or the clouds would be a better choice…
Hmmm….clouds…that reminded her of
Shikamaru…
Gaara watched with no emotion as
many various expressions crossed his older sister’s face, feeling his heartbeat
calm down strangely. At least there were two people who weren’t afraid of being
that close to him and show any kind of emotion…he couldn’t say the same about
the rest…and even they couldn’t say it since he had either killed them or
closed their mouths (for good). From the last time, he had changed. For
example, he was now aware of his own heart, of his emotions stirring up inside
him whenever he saw a happy kid calling to its mother with love or a small boy
crying over his dead puppy, but he couldn’t place them, didn’t know where they
belonged, had no idea how to express them. And what is worse than not knowing
the whole thing? Again, I’m wondering who caused him to change? I
haven’t read the other chapters in a long time, so I can’t remember if that’s
in there or not, but it might be something to consider mentioning…or maybe
not. It’s your call.
Knowing only half of it.
And that’s what he hated, resented,
disliked, and despised with his whole heart and the unknown passion he had
suddenly found stock somewhere deep inside of him. What are emotions for, when
one doesn’t know how to use them? Isn’t it an outrage when one oh-so-lovingly
thinks he is doing it with love and for good of others when those others hate
it and despite of his passion cannot bring themselves to understand it? Isn’t
it pointless to try to understand when one just cannot grasp it? He just
couldn’t understand it all, not even the ‘Love’ on his forehead meant anything to
him anymore. He needed something….someone…someone like him to teach him how to
do it, to teach him how to love and how to see the true bonds people share, not
to share pain and loneliness, but to erase it from their memories and create
good ones of their own, a person he, Gaara, the vessel of the demon Shukaku,
once a merciless killer with only bloodlust, could love.
Gaara frowned. He shouldn’t dream,
he shouldn’t hope. Dreams and hoping…they weren't made for people like him, for
people who couldn't even grasp the true meaning of loving someone and who
didn't even know how to love someone.
Suddenly he felt something grasp his
heart firmly, as if trying to smother him in his own feelings and inner pain,
and it hurt. It hurt him so much…to think like this, to hope like this…all
these feelings only reminded him of his state and situation.
So, he decided to forget it and
instead focus on their mission, which was to meet the Hokage in her office and
discuss the peace….which was who-knows-where since they were, to put it simply,
very fucking lost.
Gaara cast a glance at his siblings, who were wondering
the same thing. How they managed to get themselves lost in Konoha when they
hadn’t walked off the road was beyond them.
“Ah, damn it,” Kankuro cursed,
looking for any kind of sign that would point them the way to Hokage's office.
Temari joined him a while later as
well. Neither of them took notice when Gaara walked off alone without
even bothering to warn them. He had no obligation to do it anyway, so why
bother? His non-existent brows furrowed, and then in a perfect silence and the grace of an angel, he jumped onto the roof
of the nearest building and settled on it.
Searching for his brother and
sister, he found them not so far away, still looking for some route, and maybe
finally for him. Or maybe they knew he was gone but decided to leave him alone?
Well, they would only be good for Gaara, since he had been itching to be alone for a while to ponder
about everything and yet nothing, maybe only deciding to watch some wall in the
end. Well, either that or that way, he decided he would savour that moment of
silence and sat and the top of the roof, putting his hands on his knees, while turning
his lifeless green eyes to the sun. It was rising to its place on the sky,
where it belonged, and just from a look at it he could tell the day would be
really hot…and that he would be sweating a lot. Gaara frowned; it didn't matter
that he had been born In desert and lived there for his whole life. He could
still sweat. He didn’t like to sweat, it
was disgusting and…well…disgusting and that’s it.
And he was content like that, alone,
with no one bothering him, just he and his halfway insane mind, watching as the sun slowly rose higher and
higher, not even bothering to take in the world around him. At that moment, he wanted to be left like that
and die, not from pain and loneliness, but from the pure feeling of
satisfaction he was so afraid of losing that he would rather choose to die on
the spot than to lose it. Yes,
it was too precious and too priceless, too
beautiful, too fullfilling, like some wonderful dream coming true…like…an
unfilled desire suddenly being quenched.
Wind blew, carrying the warm morning
breeze around Gaara’s body, making him shiver as it hit spots too sensitive to
mention, and Gaara felt a smile tugging at his lips. His stomach twisted,
making him realize the reality, but he still refused to let it happen, to let
him return back to where
he belonged, mainly when his mind was playing such nice tricks on him. Yes, it
definitely had to be a trick, that boy around Gaara’s age, strange attire and
the most beautiful face he had ever seen, standing on the side edge of the roof Gaara was sitting on.
He noted the natural blue color of the boy’s eyes, how the sun reflected in
those bright azure eyes, how they glittered in an emotion akin to…sadness…he
took notice of his face, flushed, tanned with whisker marks on his cheeks and
slightly parted cherry lips. Such a pouty lips…such a beautiful face framed by
those golden locks made from sun itself.
And then the boy moved and he moved
with grace that rivaled any angel, bangs falling into his wide innocent eyes as
the wind flew by. He stopped right of him and Gaara couldn’t help but stare at
the unspoken beauty. He was so afraid that if he moved, he would disappear; if
he breathed too loudly, the boy would disperse like a dust when thrown into
wind.
And then, he couldn’t even believe
it himself, the boy smiled. He noted the smile…it was just a smile, just
the corners of lips curving upwards, and yet it caused his heart to beat wilder,
echoing in his ears like a drum.
“Yo,” the blond boy greeted
cheerfully, “I’m Naruto. Ne, want me to kiss you?” he didn’t even give Gaara
the time to actually comprehend his sentence before he crouched down next to
him and gently locked their lips together, putting his arms around Gaara’s neck
in a tight embrace.
