A/N: Hey y'all! Welcome back for the next chappie of Scared To Be Alone. I know it's been what feels like almost ages since last I worked on this at a regular basis. I will from here on out. Why? Because this is one of my favorite stories to work on obviously if you don't know by now. Hehes

Chapter 6: Splash
Itachi
Receiving the payment for a job well done is pleasing. Retiring to the room I share with my partner there are a few things that come to mind. One of them is my foolish little brother. Does he realize the damage he's wrought into someone he once considered to love? Is he even sorry about it? No, I doubt he does considering how easily he moved on to be with Orochimaru. Clearly I'm not pleased by the snake being with my brother of all people.
"You can't control what he does," piped up Kisame, noticing he had finished polishing Samahada, wondering if he truly understands how it is. "Trust me, I had to deal with something similar with Suigetsu."
"How?" I raised a brow, curious about what could've occurred.
"Well, he and Jugo had paired up," the shark man began to explain, coming over to sit beside me on my bed. "I thought he was going a bit over his head. Obviously he didn't listen to me. So, we just have to tolerate who they end up with, 'Tachi."
"I guess," I sighed in frustration, annoyed that nothing could be done. "I just wish he could see what the consequences of his actions are."
"Itachi, you're his brother and not your father," stated Kisame bluntly.
"You're right," I nodded hesitantly, knowing he is even though I'll need to learn to lower how I feel about the whole situation.
Wrapping an arm around my shoulders, I leaned against him to rest my head on his chest. The scaley texture of his skin is comforting. Yeah, it's odd, but it's just how it is between us. Most people outside of the organization are unsure of our union. That's alright because they don't need to understand. Only those in these walls do. Anyone who doesn't approve aren't worth our time and effort. My thoughts still think of Sasuke for some time. It's my job to worry about him after all. Though I know Kisame is right when he tells me that there's nothing I can do about it. Indeed I can distance myself from him.
Almost as if reading my thoughts, Kisame said, "You can do that. If you give him the cold shoulder treatment then it'll be good for him."
"Hn, true," I smirked, liking where he's going with this.
"Then if he ever wants to contact you, hear him out, but if he's still with the snake then shut him out for good," suggested Kisame, pleased that he seemed to understand how it is.
"That's probably for the best," I sighed, getting comfortable against him.
There's time now for us to relax. Most likely there won't be another mission assigned for a couple of days. Only a few others would be gathered to join here. From the sound of it the two artists won't be pleased of who they have to get. It doesn't matter because if they don't do what the leaders say then severe punishment is given for insolence. We've all experienced it once or twice before. Hopefully they won't screw anything up.

Sasori
Having received word of the mission given to us I'm not pleased about it. Going after someone who's killed me before isn't going to be a pleasant time. Though at least Deidara will be with me. That's a comforting thought to have. Though hopefully there wouldn't be any mishaps during this said time away from the base. Getting ready to head out, I'm approached from behind to feel a pair of arms wrapping around me. Glancing over my shoulder I see the all too familiar blonde hair and cobalt eyes even though one is always hidden behind his hair.
"Are you ok, un?" Asked Deidara in concern.
"I could be better," I admitted, knowing he has figured out I'm not happy about this mission of ours we have to carry out.
"Let's just get it done and over with, hmph," suggested the flamboyant artist. "Besides, we can make some masterpieces later when we have some time alone, Danna."
"Indeed we shall," I smirked, knowing what he's precisely referring to, excited about when we would have that time together. "Are you alright?"
"Of course," shrugged Deidara, knowing when we return he'll go see Naruto before we can go off to have some much needed alone time. "Just peachy, un."
"Hn, ok then," I'm not entirely convinced although I'm sure he'll tell me on his own time whatever could possibly be bothering him.
Glancing at the time I can tell we have a few hours before we needed to leave. Still trapped by Deidara's arms I turned around to pin him against the locked door. Kissing him passionately it's reciprocated with equal heat. Moving my hands to ghost down his body to linger my nails along his hips I can tell he wants this. Snaking my tongue teasingly along the outline of his lips I'm eventually given permission for entrance. In a battle for dominance we grinded our hips together to gain some friction. Continuing to kiss in a heated mix of pleasure and desire we continued our time together. It's a perfect way to make time pass by quickly. It's also been a while since we have had some fun. When we finished a while later I directed him into the shower to get washed up. In an hour and a half we would need to leave in order to reach Konoha on time.
Dei, I hope sometime soon you will tell me what's on your mind. It's annoying having to wait on you, but damn it I will this once. Just don't make me regret it, brat.

Kakashi
During this time it's pleasing to see Obito and Kushina growing well. With Naruto by my side things feel as if they're finally perfect for once. Indeed there had been many hardships to reach such a point. It's been worth it though. Knowing that it'll be harder when the kids grow older it doesn't matter. We'll love them no matter what happens. All we have to worry about is if any enemies try anything against us.
"You worry too much," muttered Naruto sleepily, resting against me.
"Oh? How did you find out?" I teased gently, holding him close by my side. "You shouldn't be awake anyways."
"You were moving," pouted Naruto.
"Your point?" I decided to engage in this light spat of banter.
"Ugh, don't know," Naruto continued to pout, leaning down to kiss him tenderly before pulling away.
"Better now?" I breathed out.
"Mmm, kind of," grinned Naruto impishly.
"Good," we spoke in hushed tones, not wanting to wake the children. "Gaara is here. He'll want to come see you again."
"I know," frowned Naruto, not sure if he wanted to see the sandman again, knowing that while they are brothers except not by blood there is some rivalry between them considering the beasts sealed within them. "Do you think Obito or Kushina will have some of Kurama in them?'
"There's no telling," I admitted, having the same concern on my mind. "If they do then it'll show up whenever they're of age to start going to the Academy."
"True. I hope we'll be ready when that day comes."
A/N: Yays! Done with chappie six! Why is this being updated again? Because I got another chappie finished. Another reason is just to compensate for the long wait of this being updated at last. Hehes
