It only took James and the rest of the team a couple hours to get back. I‘ve been pacing the floor in Gaara’s office since we have been back, and I am putting a plan together while I waited. I kept looking at the clock and running my hands through my hair, while Gaara and the other’s watched me silently. I can’t imagine what Gaara thought of me after what he seen, but honestly it had to be done. I finally took a deep breath and closed my eyes, stopping in the middle of the floor. I could feel my brother’s presence finally. He was somewhere in the building. All our lives we have been able to sense each other, and now for once I am glad of it.
         Not even a second later he burst through the door with a worried, but hard expression on his face, “Jensa! Are you alright?”. He swept me up in a tight hug and I smiled “I’m fine James, I was just waiting on you to return”. We let go of each other and I looked behind him to Luke, Lynn, and Adam. Adam came up to me and gave me a hug that felt better than it should have. He sighed “I’m glad you’re alright. We came back as soon as we could”. I let go of him and quickly, then walked to Gaara’s desk and grabbed the big jar of Lintra. I turned around to face everyone. Everyone’s face filled with dread and James gaged “Please tell me were not eating Lintra”. I shook my head “There isn’t any other choice guys” Adam groaned “Oh man I fucking hate Lintra. It’s so nasty and disgusting and sticks to the back of your throat!”. I sighed and tried to keep my patience “Guys, they already have 3 doses each, this is enough for 5 doses each. We only need a pinch and then we will be fine. Alright?”.
       I walked around my team and let them take a pinch off of the huge clump in the jar. Everyone’s face was nothing short of disgust, and when I took a pinch I barley kept my lunch in my stomach. The Lintra was so slimy and thick I knew we would have to chew it to get it down. I was not looking forward to it. I took another deep breath and looked around the room, “Is everyone ready? Remember, this is immediate, so when we finish eating this we head out to the river and find them”. Adam nodded and so didn’t Luke “Yeah, let’s get this over with” Luke replied, and we all shoved the Lintra in our mouth after the count of three.
     The Lintra tasted as terrible as it felt, and everyone had trouble getting it down. It stuck to my tounge and the roof of my mouth, but finally, I managed to get it down. James was staring at the ground for a second, then I heard Adam shout and start hoping up and down “Whoo!! Hell yeah! That shit is nice!!”. I looked over at him and he was glowing slightly, and his pupils were 10X bigger than normal. Suddenly, I felt it. The huge rush of power, and the warm feeling it brought through my body. I let out a small laugh when I realized I was glowing to, along with everyone else. I shook my head a bit to clear it, then looked back at Gaara, who looked amazed for a second. “We will be back soon”.
       I didn’t have to say anything, we all took off toward the river in a second. Not only was our movement speed 100X faster, but our powers were stronger than ever before. I shouted to Lynn “You need to shield our minds so Sute can’t control us. I know you can do it”. She nodded, and soon enough I felt another warm feeling inside my mind and I knew it was working. Sute didn’t have a chance with us now, but I needed to warn everyone about the rest of them. I ordered everyone to stop when we were a mile away, and we huddled together.
       “Alright listen up, Lynn you are our shield, and I need you to keep an eye out for fire rain and shards of ice hitting everyone. Just try to protect as many of us as you can”. She nodded “yes Ma’am”, I looked at Adam “Adam, you also need to protect us, but instead when there is fire rain or ice I want to use your telepathy and send it flying back to them. Send everything they throw at us, back to them”. He nodded and I turned to Luke, “You are going to be the most important right now. I need you and your warriors to focus hard on Ryuu. When he turns into a dragon your warriors can help you bring him down. We will try as much as possible to help you, but you need to focus hard on him”. I smiled at James and shrugged “I just want you to fuck shit up brother”. He winked “No problem for me”.
      We stood up and I sighed “alright, Time to-“. I was cut off by a huge fire ball being thrown my way. We all separated and looked toward the way it came. All of the Akkan were standing there waiting on us. Yuki was in front with his arms crossed, shaking his head “I warned you not to follow us Jensa. I even tried to give you a way out. And this is how you thank me?” I scoffed “Go to hell Yuki. We will never agree to what you are doing. And we will stop you”. Yuki and everyone laughed, and I watched Sute’s expression as she struggled to get inside our minds. She looked so helpless, and it was hilarious. I cleared my throat and looked at Yuki “I am going to give you one chance Yuki. Come with us peacefully, or else there will be blood shed”.
      Yuki let out a chilling laugh, and his eyes narrowed on me “You silly girl. I would never come peacefully”. Without warning he threw an ice crystal at me and Adam made it go back to him. Everyone sprang into action, and I focused on Yuki. I copied his jutsu, and soon I could throw crystals back at him. Every hit he tried to throw at me I would dodge and throw one right back. Eventually, we finally resorted to fighting on our own, and I landed a punch on his jaw that sent him flying back. I heard a loud roar that shook the earth and looked to my right. Ryuu has in fact turned into a dragon, but Luke had his soldier’s surrounding him and slashing at his skin with his swords. Luke had his Katana out and was dancing with it, Leaving marks on Ryuu’s body and making him cry out in pain.
        I looked over to see Lynn and Sute going at it, and Lynn was doing a great job blocking and dodging attacks, while landing a couple blows in between. Of course there was James, fucking everything up in his path. He blew fire towards Amaya and she returned the favor. Only James wasn’t affected by it, and grabbed her by the collar and threw her crossed the field with his strength. She screamed when she hit the tree, and she was limp on the ground for a while. Adam was fighting Mamaru, and when I looked over Mamaru threw a huge bolder at him, and Adam reflected it back and slammed it on top of him.
       Out of nowhere I hear “Jensa move!”, and without thinking I back flipped out of the way of a huge crystal heading straight toward me. I looked at Yuki and smiled “Missed”. Yuki let out a yell and charged at me, and I blocked a right hook he threw my way, then another toward my stomach. I roundhouse kicked him in the face and upper cut his jaw. He flew backwards again but recovered quicker than the last. He threw over 10 crystals at me, and I didn’t know how I was going to dodge it. Suddenly, the crystals turned toward Yuki and a couple penetrated his body. I looked over at Adam who was watching me close. He threw me a thumbs up and I smiled “Thanks Adam” I whispered. Yuki stood up, and I watched as he pulled out the crystals from his chest and arm. He radiated hate when he looked at me, and then we were snapped out of it by a piercing scream to our left. We looked over to find James grabbing Sute off of Lynn by the throat, and in an instant he crushed her throat under his palm; leaving her lifeless and limp on the ground.
        That set Yuki off and he charged at James screaming “Sute! I’ll kill you asshole!”. I screamed at him, and Adam send the huge bolder holding down Mamaru toward Yuki and he slammed into the ground. I looked over to Luke, and Ryuu was badly beaten up. It looks like we had won, so far. Yuki growled and let out a piercing whistle, and in an instant they were all gone. I looked around on high alert, but there was no sign of them anywhere. I walked over to James and hugged him “I’m glad you’re okay” he let go of me “Yeah, Ditto”. His eyes were far away, and I knew that look too well. He hated taking a life, but when he needed to, he did. Each one scarred him, and this one would to. Adam walked up to me and I gave him a hug as well “Thank you. You saved me back there” he laughed “Nah you had it. I just had to watch out for you baby girl”. We let go of each other and I saw James smile a little. I rolled my eyes and looked down at Sute “We need to take her body back with us so they can’t resurrect her”. James nodded “That’s what I was thinking to. Yuki was very upset about her…” his face hardened more, and I placed a hand on his shoulder, but Lynn beat me to it “James, you did what you had to. You saved me”. They shared a look that made me a little uncomfortable, then he looked away and threw her body over his shoulder. “Let’s just go”.
      The walk to the village was a bit too quiet. We figured out that the Lintra only last’s an hour, and it must have worn off on Sute when it happened. We walked into the village toward sunset, and while we walked to Gaara’s office the villager’s stared. We were bloody, a bit worn out from the Lintra’s effects, and we had a dead body with us. We got to Gaara’s office and I took a deep breath before knocking “Enter”.
   I walked in and found Gaara at his desk, a couple shinobi and his siblings in the room with him. He jumped up when he saw me and I held my hand up “Were fine”. We all entered and James laid Sute on the ground “We got one, but we need to hide the body so they don’t get to her and resurrect her”. Gaara nodded slowly, and looked away quickly after looking at Sute. I realized we never thought to close her eyes or anything. I knelt down and closed them, and then stood back up. “The rest got away, but they were badly injured. We leave tomorrow to hunt for them if we can”. James grabbed my arm and stopped me “Jensa. I know were in battle, but you know better than anyone there is a 3 day grace period in war. We can’t bother them for 3 days and you know that. It is the civil code. We won’t break it”. I couldn’t look at him, and he leaned closer “Sis, it was my kill. This is my wish. It’s not just them who need 3 days to get over what I have done”. Everyone was watching me and James, and the shinobi couldn’t believe that James was the one to kill Sute, but I kissed his forehead and sighed “3 days brother”.
       Before leaving, James asked for the nearest liquor store then left with Adam to pick a few things up. Lynn and Luke left to shower and get some rest. I stood there waiting to speak to Gaara, but was disappointed when his brother needed him more. I understood, and headed to my room. Once there I took a long shower, and let the hot water relax my joints and mind. The Lintra really did a number on me, and I was more than ready for bed. I promised myself I would talk to him tomorrow, and laid down to get comfy. I could hear Adam and James laughing in the room next to me and it made me smile. He would be alright, and so wouldn’t we. We might have a nasty war ahead of us, but I am more than confident in my team after tonight. We could do this, and we will.
