Shiona: I realized that I did not tell you what (1) meant in the last chapter. It’s from something I remember when I was a kid. Seven gates to hell, Twelve gates to heave. I do not know where I heard it or saw it or what, but I remember it. I’ve also heard What in the seven hells is going on here!? No idea about that either.
Also I have noticed that some of you do not like Neji. I’m wondering why. Yes, he is Sasuke’s friend but he has a right to not trust him with his track record, and Naruto being bullied. When he comes back however…I do not want to ruin anything for the future chapters. Please be patient.
Also it took me a while to think up the pay back prank. I’m sad no one said anything about it. Kidding. I’m not sad.

Naruto’s First Date!

That evening Sasuke sat at the dinner table, looking completely blank though on the inside he was rather annoyed. He had to sit here answering questions from Deidara, and Itachi. This was going to be one very long night. Neji had a right not to trust him, I mean come on, with Sasuke’s track record and the way Naruto was just so naïve. At the same time Neji did trust him, it was mostly Naruto doing something he would regret that got to him.
“First off Sasuke, congratulations for finally bringing someone home! Now…What were those marks on Naruto?” The look on his face told Sasuke he had better tell the truth. And if he did not like the truth, then he had better have a damn good explanation.
“Naruto is bullied at school. Some of the students take it too far. Mainly the ones who do are Orochimaru’s goons. I’ve never out right stopped it, but I have done little things for him with out anyone knowing. I am only his friend nothing more. Orochimaru is interested in him. Why? I do not know.” He replied in a monotone voice as he picked at his food.
The two adults stiffen at the mention of Orochimaru. Deidara took to staring at his plate, trying to remain calm. Itachi glared straight ahead, “Does he live with his parents?”
“No Itachi…His family is dead. They were part of that huge accident we had heard about as kids. Naruto lives all alone in a crappy apartment complex.” As soon as the words left his mouth he knew what was coming. Itachi would want him to convince Naruto to come live with them.
They had more then enough room. If that happened however, Neji would worry even more. It wasn’t that he was worried Sasuke would do something, it was more along the lines of how cute Naruto was, and Itachi’s friends. However, Sasuke was sure he could convince Naruto and Neji that everything would be okay. That Naruto would be really safe at the Uchiha home.
Though it was not going to be easy to do either. Naruto didn’t fully trust him, and Neji well Neji was protective. Sure Neji would agree that Sasuke’s home was a lot safer then the apartment. But there was always the off chance Karin or someone else would come over that didn’t like the blonde.
‘Oh shit…what about the parties that the others keep trying to get me to throw here, or invite me too!? I can’t have Naruto there. It’d be torture. Well it’s not like I allow parties here. I will just give up those parties.’ Sighing gently as he makes up his mind he looks to the two adults.
“I will do what I can to convince Naruto that he will be safe here. He doesn’t exactly trust me, or anyone other then those close to him. Let me talk to Neji first, because he can help me.” Nodding the two adults agree. Though Itachi was beginning to wonder why Sasuke suddenly showed interest in the little blonde. Was it all because of Orochimaru or was there something more?
“Before you ask, it’s a bet to see if I can get Naruto to trust me so I can bed him. Kabuto put me up to it. But I can honestly tell you now that I do not plan on going through with the bet. I just wanna keep Orochimaru away from him. Naruto cannot know about the bet, but I think I‘ll tell him when I take him on our first date.(1)” Sasuke spoke quietly as he felt them stare at him. Deidara looked really upset with him. Itachi looked passive as if he seemed to understand. They spoke no more of this.
But then he wished he hadn’t said first date because then Deidara was bouncing in his seat excited. Itachi was smirking, as he ate. Sasuke managed to keep them all quiet when he said he didn’t want to talk about it. Which made Deidara pout, because he had so many ideas on how to help Sasu-kun with his date.

It’s been two weeks since the night Sasuke had to talk to Itachi about Naruto, and Neji walking in on Naruto in the bed with Sasuke. During those two weeks Neji had grilled Sasuke about what his intention with Naruto was. At first Neji didn’t believe that Sasuke wanted to change, and that Naruto was changing him. Many because Sasuke had said all that before to bed a girl only to toss her aside.
This time was different though. He could see in Sasuke’s eyes, that he was telling the truth. Naruto was working his magic again, and guiding people with his light. Though Naruto didn’t know he was doing anything. Ino and Sakura had some how become part of their little group. Usually when Karin was near they would act as human shields around Naruto. The boys all knew the rep that the girls had, yet they didn’t judge.
They had no right too. Shikamaru used, and still sometimes does, hack the school system, while Choji would break into the kitchen to make decent food. Gaara used to make kids end up in the hospital, and Neji used to be a serious party person who drank.
All of that changed when they met Naruto. A cute little blonde who was all alone. He had first helped Gaara when he had been hurt, and when Gaara saw the hell Naruto went through lets just it wasn’t pretty for the bullies.
The others soon followed. Neji had been passed out on a lawn when Gaara and Naruto had found him. They helped him all through the night, and the next morning. Shikamaru and Choji had been caught by Naruto who had went to go speak with a lunch lady in the kitchen. Only to see those two about to be caught by said lunch lady. It was his pure heart that had gotten their little group to be a close nit family.
Now it was Sasuke’s turn. Juugo was already a trusted friend as he just sat quietly and looked at the birds. Shino had wiggled his way in thanks to his not so hidden crush on Kiba. Kiba and Naruto had bonded over their love of animals. Naruto had run into Kiba when he was carrying a box of tiny kittens who’s mother had been killed. Kiba took the box and showed Naruto to his family’s clinic.
Neji lightly sighed as he was shaken from his thoughts of how their little group came to be when Naruto walked up to him to go to school. He smiled to Naruto lightly as Gaara rubbed his back. Sasuke had spoken to him about wanting to take Naruto on a date, which he was against at first. But after some talking, he agreed to help Sasuke. Now Neji was thinking of ways to take Naruto to the store to get him some date worthy clothes.
“Oh goodie we are going shopping!?” Gaara said while clapping like a hyper fangirl while prancing to the others to tell them.(2) Sasuke, Shino, Juugo, Sakura, and Ino stared at him with a strange look. The others burst out laughing. Gaara turned back to look at a smiling Naruto who was clutching his sides. He may not of been one to be really stoic and anti-social but he loved making Naruto laugh. There a were a few ways do to that, and Gaara knew them all.

Sasuke stood in front of his full length mirror, inside his closet looking at himself. He felt nervous to be going on the date with Naruto. The day had finally come, and the memory of when he asked the little blonde came to him. It made him smile. Naruto had been so cute.
‘He was so cute looking at me with that blush.’ He thought as he stood topless with just some nice dark wash jeans. ‘Naruto had been standing under the tree they always went too waiting on the others. I had walked up then kneeled down on one knee. Naruto had blinked thinking I was going to tie my shoe. Then I asked him for a day on Saturday. Naruto had turned bright red, then softly said yes.’
Sighing he grabs a deep blue button shirt slipping on he begins to button it. As he was trying to decide if he should tuck it in, or leave it un-tucked Neji walked in. “Un-tucked is better. Sasuke promise me you will not do anything tonight. It is only the first date…And Naruto…He’s never been on one…Sasuke he’s a complete virgin as I’m sure you have already figured out. Please do not take advantage of that.”
Softly Sasuke sighs, and looks to his best friend. He could see the worry in Neji’s eyes, and he understands. “Neji, I can’t explain it. He’s different from the others I promise you. I like him.” Taking a small breath he looks into Neji’s eyes again, “I promise you, I will do nothing that he does not want. Should something happen I will be sure to stop it so he will not regret it. Okay?”
This made Neji feel better. It wasn’t that Neji didn’t trust Sasuke, it was more of he worried Naruto would do something he would regret. All because Neji knew Naruto had loved Sasuke for a long time. Though, Neji had a feeling even if something happened, Naruto wouldn’t regret it.
He would tell Neji all the time, “If I could just have one day with the one I love, I’d be grateful for the rest of my life. I not regret a thing I did with them. All because I love them.”
‘Love makes you do some stupid things. I should know, because I love Gaara.’ Smiling gently he goes and takes the ties from Sasuke, undoing the first two buttons. It wasn’t a lot to show skin, but it was enough to allow Sasuke to freely move with Naruto. “So you going to get Naruto at the apartment then bringing him here after? I promise the others and I will have his room all set up for him.”
Giving a small smile Sasuke tells him yeah. He began to wonder what Naruto was doing. Perhaps he was getting ready too. Which is just what he was doing thanks to help from Gaara. His apartment was now mostly empty. It had taken all of those two weeks to convince Naruto, it was safer to live with Sasuke at his home. Gaara and Neji would of let him with one of them, but neither boy had the room to spare.
The red head had to hug the blonde tightly as he began to shake. Naruto was really nervous about the date. He wanted to pace, to scream into a pillow. SOMETHING! So many thoughts were running through his head right now. Gaara kept a tight hold on the hug, trying to keep him calm. He knew what it was like on a first date.

Naruto had looked so cute when Sasuke had arrived to get him. He didn’t have his glasses, which made Sasuke a bit sad. His eyes were lined lightly in deep green eyeliner, it made his eyes really pop. The pants his wore were tight in the thighs, but loose as they went down, and hung nicely on his plump hips. The shirt he wore was semi tight so that it showed his chest, but was loose around his stomach. Sasuke could see Naruto was a bit pudgy.
Not big like Choji, but had a small belly that was like baby fat. He was just adorable! Sasuke wanted to bed him right then and there, but controlled himself. Once in the car Naruto told him that the glasses he usually wore were fakes so that he could try and blend in. He did wear glasses, but those were only for reading and watching television. Sasuke noticed that when Naruto smiled he tried to keep his mouth closed.
It was because of his braces and he was embarrassed by them. This made Sasuke smile and tell him that it was okay. They made him cuter. This made Naruto blush, then give him a small grin. It made Sasuke’s heart speed up.
Naruto was just so cute. Swallowing hard he had the driver take them to the restaurant. They were going for a dinner, a movie, then a walk on the near by beach. When they arrived at the restaurant Naruto gasped.
They had come to an expensive place, all because Deidara had suggested it. Itachi also recommended it. It was a nice place, the decor was wonderful. The windows were all tinted blue and green, in the shape of thorn covered blue flowers. It was beautiful, soft blue lighting was every where, with a normal little lamp on each table. When they sat down, Naruto pulled out his cute little reading glasses, they were black and orange striped.
They made him cuter as he read over the menu. Once they had ordered and gotten their drinks Sasuke sighed gently. He had to tell Naruto, or else this friendship or whatever they had would not work. “Naruto I…have to tell you something. I did not talk to you because of Neji…I talked you because of a bet Kabuto coaxed me into.”
Naruto had froze at the mention of Kabuto’s name. He looked into Sasuke’s eyes with a soft of sad look. “I knew it had to be something like that, for you to talk to a ugly nerd like me. I don’t mind, it just means I get a chance to spend time with someone I have loved for years. I know we are only fourteen but we can love.”
His words caused Sasuke to stare at him dumb struck. Naruto loved him? He had figured as much, but hearing it just shocked him to the core. “Love?”
Naruto blinked before turning bright red realizing what he had said. “Yes, Sasuke. I have loved you for many years now, since we met in third grade when you helped me get my glasses back. You were the first to show me kindness. I know you‘ve done little things to help, instead of just out right stopping it all. I truly appreciate that.”
Sasuke couldn’t tell him about Orochimaru’s plan, that would get them both into a lot of trouble.
“Listen Naruto…I like you. I only did this bet because of some things going on. Let’s just say your safer not knowing. Maybe in time I can tell you everything, or you may just find out-” He was cut off when Naruto held up his hand.
“If this has to do with Orochimaru, don’t worry. He’s been after me for a long time. Kabuto has gotten more aggressive lately. Now I’m sure he’s using my crush on you to get to me.” Sasuke stared at him in shock, but then let his face go emotionless. Naruto gave him a smile, “Those glasses make you even cuter, Naruto.”
This caused the blonde to blush brightly. “I heard that the class trip will be going to the private Uchiha beach. Itachi offered it, didn’t he?” Sasuke smiles a bit, liking the change of topic.
“Yeah he did. We have a large beach house with two adjacent houses that we will be using. I have a private room there you and I can share if you want…” A light blush dusted his cheeks when he realized what he said.
‘That means that they could,’ he quickly shook his head to clear his mind. Naruto was giggling at him. It wasn’t long before they were done with dinner, and heading to the movies. They were showing a double feature of some classics. Edward Scissor Hands and Sleepy Hallow(3).

At the movies, Naruto and Sasuke decided to go see the classics double feature. First up was Edward Scissor Hands. Naruto flinched now and then when Edward got bullied. Sasuke would hold his hands during those times. Then when Edward would get his heart broken, Naruto would bury his face into the crook of Sasuke’s neck, not that the raven minded.
Naruto cried near the end when Edward was said to be dead. Though he smiled brightly, cuddled into Sasuke’s side when the ending came. Snow falling on the ground, then Edward was shown doing ice sculptures. He wished he could do something that beautiful. Sasuke smiled to him as he saw how happy he was. “I am sad that Edward couldn’t stay with her.
Came the whisper from Naruto, Sasuke had to agree. Which he whispered back he did. While the credits rolled on that movie, they went out to use the bathroom, and refill their snacks. While waiting for Naruto at the snack counter, he noticed Karin walking to him. Bracing himself he felt Naruto at his side. Smiling to the little blonde he asked him what he wanted this time.
They had ended sharing a drink the first movie, and would do it again the second movie. Karin had stopped in her tracks watching them horrified. Her ugly nerdy cousin was looking all cute, and holding Sasuke’s hand! Naruto told him he just wanted a soft pretzel. It was really all he could eat with his braces. He was nervous to try and eat popcorn. Sasuke smiled to him, and got two.
Moving back to the movie they laughed a bit, when Naruto said because I’m a blonde(4). It was some stupid song, that was funny at the same time. It drove Neji crazy when Naruto would use that to get out of something. Sasuke found it cute, and wouldn’t allow Naruto to use that line to get out of something with him. Hurrying slightly since it was near time for the next movie to start, they never noticed Karin still watching them.
During the second movie, Naruto buried his face into Sasuke’s neck quite a few times. Mainly when the horseman would kill someone, or a dead body would show. He glared when the real culprit was revealed. When it got to the part when the bad twin cut the head off her twin sister, Naruto whispered to Sasuke, “That looks like something Karin would do to me if she had the change.”
Sasuke didn’t say anything to that, just gently wrapped an arm around him. By the time the movies were over, both boys were a little tired, but it wasn’t really late. Only about ten thirty, they still had a little time before they had to go home. The driver took them to the beach, where the two boys walked slowly in the full moon light. Naruto smiled as he felt the wave’s spray hit him.
It felt too soon that they head to go home. Neither boy wanted too, but knew they had too. Both boys were smiling softly as they looked to the moon. Sasuke held Naruto’s hand as they walked by to the car. They were tired, and needed to get home. If they didn’t get home soon, Deidara and Itachi would flip. They’d want details of the date. It was bad enough Neji and Gaara wanted details. Just wait till breakfast and they will be grilled.

Now here they were standing in front of Naruto’s bedroom in the Uchiha home as a bit nerve wracking. Sasuke had turned to go, when Naruto grabbed his wrist making him turn back. The boys stood there looking at each other, not sure what to do. Naruto looked nervous about something, Sasuke gave him a gentle smile thinking he was going to tell him something.
Slowly Naruto stood on tiptoe, and kisses Sasuke’s lips softly. This caused Sasuke to free, before gently placing his free hand onto the back of Naruto’s head and lightly kissing back. It was a soft sweet kiss, which Naruto pulled from blushing brightly. After that he went into his room as Sasuke stared. He stood there staring at the door for a good ten minutes before heading to his own room.
That had been the best kiss Sasuke ever had, and the first kiss Naruto ever had. Both boys went to bed with smiles on their lips. Though Naruto was blushing brightly. However all that was short lived when Naruto awakened scared. He looked around the nice room, then got out of his nice bed. Not knowing what to do he moved to the door. The dream he had, had freaked him out.
Slipping from his room quietly, he was grateful Sasuke’s room was just across from his own. Looking down either way of the hall, he made his way to Sasuke’s room. Slowly he slips in, then crawls into the bed with him. He didn’t want to be alone, and didn’t want to wake the other boy. He would explain in the morning, and hope he did not get mad.

2. This is all thanks to a fic I read where Gaara called just about everyone Hon, Sweetheart, Babe, or whatever and acted so girly when he found out they were going shopping yet he was his normal stoic self the rest of the time.
3. Depending on what version of Sleepy Hallow you watch, both movies star Johnny Deep…Johnny Deep is hot.
4. Because I’m a blonde is a real song. Look it up on youtube. I’m not blonde, but I do know a few blondes who laughed at it.
