"D-D-D-Did you b-b-buy me at the auction?", asked a red-faced Hinata.
"Yes, Hinata. I did."
"N-N-N-Naruto-sama," she said as sat up. "W-W-What do you w-w-want me to do?", The last part coming out just above a whisper.
"Hinata, I want you to listen to me very closely and don't faint. Ok?"
"H-Hai."
"What I am about to tell you does not leave this room. You will tell no one what I am about to say. You can discuss it with me and only me, unless I later tell you there is someone else that you can discuss this with. Some of the information I am about to tell you is considered S-class secrets in Konoha, punishable for talking about them is death, so this is very important. Do you understand me?"
"Hai!", she replied looking at Naruto confused.
"When the village was attacked by the Kyubi, the Kyubi wasn't destroyed, it was sealed into the fourth Hokage's newborn son."
Hinata's eyes got really wide at the implications to what he was saying.
"Like I said the Kyubi was sealed in Minato Namikaze's newborn son. Hinata, I am Minato Namikaze's son."
Naruto paused and Hinata just sat on the bed and blinked a few times.
"So far so good, you haven't fainted.", Naruto said with a grin on his face, not his silly knucklehead grin, but a heartfelt happy grin. "I am the son of the Fourth Hokage. I found out while I was still at the academy. Somethings didn't make sense and I cornered the Third and grilled him about my past, asking him questions like: Why don't I have to pay rent here? What is the reason that explains why most of the villagers hate me so much? Where does my money allowance come from? and he told me what I am telling you now. Do you understand what I am saying and do you hate me now?"
"I understand, Naruto-sama and no I don't hate you. I understand how sealing an object into something else works. If I sealed a kunai into a scroll the scroll doesn't become a kunai, it is still a scroll."
Naruto grinned and felt relief from what she said. "Thank you, Hinata. I'm glad to hear that. After I got that information from the Third, he took me to my Father's home and showed me his research and told me more about him and my Mother. He gave me my inheritance from them in the form of their research in sealing jutsus and other ninjutsus as well money and property. That is why I didn't have to pay rent on this apartment, as I own this apartment building as well as three more in this village. It seams that my Father realized the value of owning real estate."
Hinata continued to sit on the bed blinking at Naruto. 'He owns four apartment buildings as well as all of the money that the Fourth Hokage had as well as all of his documented techniques.', she thought to herself. 'He might be the wealthiest person in the village outside of a clan. Well he might have more than some of the smaller clans.'
"Now here is where you are going to be really surprised, Hinata."
She perked up and put her thoughts to the side
"I'm not the goof that everyone thinks I am. After I found that out about my parents, I got serious and started studying the scrolls that they left to me, and I discovered a few things. First is the shadow clone jutsu and that could I remember stuff from my shadow clones. When I first starting with it I was using a bunch of them and the feeling was a little overwhelming, so I was ignoring it. I researched the jutsu more I saw that I should retain the information. So I started with one clone studying one scroll and me studying another and when the clone dispelled, I retained the knowledge that it had gained. I worked my way up and while I was at the academy goofing off, keeping up appearances I had clones at my Father's home studying the scrolls. Another thing I learned is why I couldn't use the clone jutsu, it takes fine chakra control and a small amount of chakra and that is really hard when you have a giant chakra storage tank with a leak stored inside you. I learned and mastered my family's jutsus. I have increase my skills exponentially from were I was before and now I could probably take on Kakashi one-on-one, and win."
Hinata's mouth fell open in astonishment at the information that he was giving her and knew why he didn't want the information common knowledge.
"Now Hinata, this is the really important part and I don't want you to faint on me. If you do, I am going to wake you right back up with some smelling salts that I have."
She nodded and steeled herself, If this next information is more important than what he had already said it must be really something.
"With what I have told you do you think I would know if someone had been shadowing me?"
She nodded her head. He must be talking about the ANBU that had been following him around. They must be following him because of the Kyubi. She remembered knocking into them a few times when she shadowed him. She then eeped and began to blush deep red when she realized that he might be talking about her.
"I know that you have been following me and that you have you have a crush on me."
"N-n-n-no, Naruto-sama."
"You haven't been following me around? There is another Hinata in the village.", Naruto was a little upset that she was lying to him about this.
She shook her head, "I have been following you, but I don't have a crush on you."
"Really.", He was beginning to get angry.
"I-I-I-I l-l-l-l-...", she began and started hyperventilating.
Naruto jumped up and ran to his kitchen and grabbed a small paper bag from a drawer and took it to Hinata to breath into. He was getting a little worried about her and any anger he had been feeling had just flew out the window.
"Calm down, Hinata.", he said to her, softly. He was sitting beside her on the bed with a hand on her back keeping her from falling backwards, his other hand in front of her just in case she began to fall forwards. After a few minutes she had calmed down and began to breathe normally. She placed the bag beside her away from Naruto and looked up and him and took in a deep breath and stated, "I don't have a crush on you, I love you.", then she fainted.
Hinata finally confessed to Naruto, and it only took him buying her at a slave auction to do it. I see the start of a beautiful, dysfunctional family.
