Naruto groaned rubbing his eyes and sitting up on the bed, he frowned looking around at the plain bedroom, it wasn’t his room, slowly everything came back, Naruto lowered his head and sighed bringing his knees to his chin, he didn’t want to go to school, but he had to, like hell he was going to skip class because his parents…. Parent was an idiot liar! Besides, Naruto wanted to know more about his teacher… Err… Father, Naruto got up slowly and got dressed not bothering to shower, he would just buy himself breakfast at school, Gaara was nice enough to let him crash there, he was happy, if he’d gone to a hotel Kakashi would have tracked his credit card transaction and would have found Naruto and dragged him home, and Naruto was not ready to see the man whom lied to him all his life, Naruto would have gone to the Uchiha mansions and stayed with Itachi, but that would have been the first place Kakashi would have looked, besides Naruto really didn’t want to have to explain everything to Itachi, although having Itachi hold him and comfort him wasn’t so bad, Naruto shook his head sighing, Deidara would kill him, Naruto slowly walked out of the room and jumped, there was Gaara standing and waiting for him
“The maid made us breakfast” Naruto nodded slowly looking at the boy, Gaara always seemed to be waiting for Naruto, it was kind of creepy but not too bad, it was nice to know in the new fucked up world he’s fallen into, he had at least one friend, Naruto followed Gaara down stairs scratching the back of his head as he did so, this was just a bit awkward Naruto had explained everything to the worried red head late last night, Gaara was nice, he listened and never interrupted the blonde, just let him talk. Naruto felt a little embarrassed talking to Gaara; he just needed someone to listen to him right now.
Naruto’s eyes went wide seeing the bacon, eggs, toast, and pancakes laid on the table for them, Naruto looked at Gaara in shock
“You cooked?” Gaara looked at Naruto confused
“No, the maid did this, she comes here to make breakfast and clean, she is gone by the time I get home” he said softly before sitting down, Naruto sat across from Gaara, both boys eating in silence, once breakfast was done, Naruto and Gaara made their way outside, Naruto unlocking the car and tossing his backpack in the back, Gaara sat in the passenger seat holding his bag close blushing, Naruto got in and smiled starting the car
“Why are you blushing?”
“I… never had a friend before… it’s nice…” Naruto blinked and smiled softly, he had his parents as his friends, Naruto frowned shaking his head, he wouldn’t think of them, not today, he drove off down the road towards school, laughing at the small thought that popped into his head
“W-why are you laughing?” Gaara asked sadly, Naruto blinked at the smaller and smiled softly
“I was just thinking, anyone who notices is going to think we’re a couple, leaving together, and arriving together” Gaara lowered his head blushing more
“Y-you can let me out down the road if you like” Naruto shook his head laughing again
“Why? No harm in people thinking it, your my friend Gaara, I’m not going to make you walk” Gaara blushed more looking at Naruto
“Thank you” was all Naruto heard before they pulled into the parking lot, Naruto parked the car and got out smiling
“let’s go, I gotta find Inuzuka and follow him to my class” Naruto said as he bent down reaching in the back of the car to get his backpack, he jerked feeling a hand on his arm, Naruto pulled out of the car swinging at the man and yelped when his fist was grabbed and he was thrown onto the hood of the car pinned there with his hand behind his back, Naruto winced glancing back and glared, Kakashi
“Naruto…” Kakashi sighed letting the boy up
“we need to talk” Naruto spat at the man’s feet glaring
“Go fuck yourself, I am not talking to you dad” Naruto said before shutting his car door and walking off leading a very shocked Gaara into the school
“Naruto! You can’t keep walking away from your problems! Your mother is worried sick!” Naruto shot a glare back at Kakashi seriously bring Iruka into this mess!? It was Iruka’s lying that started it
“I don’t give a shit! You leave me the hell alone! I’m not talking to either of you! Get over it!” Naruto ran into the school and down the hall, still holding the red heads hand, Gaara frowned hugging Naruto a small blush crossing his cheeks
“I’m sorry Naruto” Gaara said softly, his eyes filled with guilt for the boy, Naruto smiled shaking his head
“No its cool, I’ll talk to them sometime… I dunno when… I just can’t… Be near them right now ya know? Let’s go first class will be starting soon” Naruto said as he lead Gaara off down the hall.

Kakashi stared in shock, Naruto was really upset, He’d never shouted to his parents before, he’d never spat at the silver haired man, and he’d never said he didn’t care about his mom, Kakashi glared at the school doors where Naruto had run off, now how did Naruto figure out anything? Everything had been fine that morning, Naruto was just a happy fifteen year old boy with a brand new car, something had to of happened at school, but what?
“Kakashi! Long-time no see” Kakashi looked over his shoulder, his face dropping, this was not real, Mizuki was here, back in town? At this school?
“What are you doing here Mizuki, didn’t you get my message?” Kakashi cracked his knuckles, he kept it from Iruka, but he had tracked Mizuki down, and beat him near death, after the attack on Iruka and the unborn child
“I did, but you see I wanted to see my son” Kakashi growled his eye narrowing
“I told you, if you EVER came back I would personally KILL you” Mizuki laughed walking past the man
“I’m not scared of YOU Kakashi why would I be? You do anything to me, and the cops will arrest you, then who will take care of Iruka? Who will protect him from me?” Kakashi tensed his eye darkening, he wanted to kill Mizuki, but if he did, Iruka would be alone, and Kakashi knew at this point Iruka was mentally unstable to be alone in this world
“Don’t worry Kakashi, I’ll have my fun then I’ll leave” the man said before walking into the school, a smirk on his lips, he was going to have some fun
