Saku ran, with a small group from the party running not far behind him, through the village heading in deeper towards some of the abandoned clan villages. As soon as he reached the gate, he tried to open it. “It won’t open… MOMMY OPEN UP MOMMY!” Kakashi said
“This is the Uchiha estate…” Saku turned face filled with tears
“Mommy won’t open…” Sasuke said
“It’s not mommy anymore remember its aunt or Aunt Sakura.” Saku turned to the door and spoke
“The gate is the only opening… I used to climb the trees around here to get out so she cut the ones too close to the gate saying that it would be a weak point for the enemy to get in.” Naruto and Sasuke looked at the wall. They looked at each other and with a nod the walked back turned and ran up and over the wall leaving a shocked Saku behind watching them. After some time had passed the gates opened to reveal the two with grim looks on their face. Naruto said
“She’s not here.” Saku glared
“She is but you wouldn’t be able to find her.” Saku ran past them. He never looked back because he knew that they would follow and even if they didn’t, he didn’t care he just wanted to be in her arms again. he followed the maze of a path until he goes to the place that they have called home, with his uncle Sie, since his birth.
“SENSIE!” He tripped on a branch but quickly got up and continued grumbling “Stupid branch…. SENSIE!” when ran through the hall of large cherry trees. When he reached the large overbearing double doors that served as the front door of a large three-story white building. He took a sharp left and climbed a large cherry tree. He continued to climb until he reached the opened second story window. The tall blonde man shouted Saku get down from there. There was a large gap between him and the window that had the roof of the first story below. The blonde started to follow up the tree. Without hesitating Saku jumped and just caught the sill to the window. He allowed himself to dangle there for just a moment as he adjusted his grip them pulled himself up and into the window. He went for the door but soon the blonde, black and silver haired men came through the window one at a time. The blonde rushed to him and looked him over. Saku just looked at the man as the silvered haired man said
“I’ll go open the door for the others.” The blonde said “thanks Kakashi. Are you alright Saku?” Saku said nothing but went through the double doors after the silver haired man named Kakashi. He didn’t care about anyone but his mother… no she’s not his mom anymore. Tears breached his eyes at the thought. But he can call her his aunt. He did not care if she was his mom or not, she was his family, and an aunt is still family. When they got to the stairs. Kakashi went down them. However, Saku went straight back to the locked room he was never allowed into and now he knew why. It was her real child’s room. He stopped in front of the rich red wood doors and just stood there. All of the memories of her scolding him for going near it was for him. So, he would not find out the truth before he had too. He softly knocked on the door. The blonde man said
“Is this Sakura’s room?” Saku shook his head
“It her dead baby’s room…” the two men froze with sad looks on their face the black-haired man said
“Have you seen it?” Saku shook his head again. with a sigh the black-haired man came to the door and turned the knob just as the blonde said
“Sasuke…” The black-haired man said
“Don’t Naruto… if she’s in here then we need to be with her.” With that he opened the door to find a pale blue room with little yellow and pink flowers stenciled all around a crib sat in each of the corners on the back wall at an angle. One was pink and one was blue a raggedy old teddy bear sat in the blue crib and an old doll in the pink crib. They entered the room to find on the left wall was a changing bed pressed on either side was a door both were open to reveal a walk-in closet and large bathroom. When they looked to the right wall, they found a rocking chair in the other corner angled out to face the blue crib. In it sat a sleeping Sakura. Her face held to tears that fell. Saku went up and crawled into her lap. Once there he curled into her and at once her arms encircled her like it was a habit for her. Saku said
“You may not be my mommy anymore, but I can call you auntie and I get to stay with you…” soon the room was filled with their large group. Naruto and Sasuke walked up to the rocking chair as the rest looked at the room. Sasuke and Naruto looked at each other then with out word Naruto picked up Saku who clung on to her. Naruto said
“It’s okay Saku… Sasuke is just going to take her to her room… which ever it is.” Sasuke carefully picked her up as Naruto went into the hall. “Which room is hers?” Saku just pointed down the hall back towards the stairs and Naruto followed with Sasuke and the group not far behind. Saku looked back to find the black-haired man tenderly holding Sakura. Naruto’s voice said
“Where to now?” Saku turned back to see them in front of the stairs. Saku pointed to the door just in front of the stairs going down and spoke
“That is the room mo… I mean auntie sleeps in. my room is that one.” He pointed to the room right next to the door then he pointed to the one across the hall next to the stairs that go up and spoke
“That is Uncle Sie’s room when he’s home from missions.” He then pointed at the door across the downstairs door that faced them. “Sensei said that that was the room they made for daddy. And that one is grandpa Kakashi’s” he pointed to the door on its right. Then moved to the next right and spoke
“And that is grandma Tsunade’s room…”
