Chapter 57 – The Demon of the Mist
Wave Mission – Part 2

At dawn the next morning, Team 7 and their client, Tazuna, was being ferried from the Fire Country to the Wave Country, on a small rowing boat. A mysterious man, wearing a pointy hat, who introduced himself as the “Rower”, was the one ferrying them over to the other side, in exchange for a monetary fee. (1).

Naruto laughed at something the Rower said which he thought was brilliant, while Kakashi and Sasuke glared daggers at him. Kakashi's lone visible eye was bug-eyed, and he kept hissing at Naruto and Sakura, calling them sinners and heathens. Kakashi had not slept at all tonight, and had to listen to Naruto and Sakura's go at it until 4 AM. They had been incredibly loud during their sinful act, which pissed off Kakashi even more.

Sasuke was also annoyed with them since he had barely slept tonight due to the noise they were making. He has never really liked Naruto, and after last night his dislike for him has only grown. Sasuke was however angrier and more annoyed with Sakura, who he has never really had a problem with before. He doesn't know what kind of night activities she and Naruto had partaken in for them to be so loud, or what kind of evil spirit had possessed her to cause her to moan and scream all night like that. He summed it up to being a mystery. However, he was sure that whatever they were up to all night, was something that is unworthy and beneath a proud Uchiha like himself.

Tazuna also knew what had transpired in Naruto's tent that night. He had woken up a couple of times due to all the noise they were making, but had quickly been able to fall asleep again. That was probably thanks to all of the sake he had consumed yesterday, which helped him sleep through the noise. He wasn't upset with them at all, and figured that Sakura and Naruto was just a young couple who shared a night of passion in that tent.

Naruto and Sakura had both enjoyed their night together, but neither of them would call it a night of passion. Naruto had been rough with Sakura in a way that Jiraiya is more hesitant to be, with him spanking her hard all night long, and pulling her hair when she begged him to do so. Sakura loved it all, and she had begged for Naruto to spank her and pull at her hair harder, but Naruto either ignored those requests or refused to do so.

The experience was new to Naruto as well, who has never been that rough with any of his previous lovers before, even though he sometimes thinks Kurenai could deserve such treatment. The majority of the night was spent with Naruto fucking Sakura from behind, having a great view of her nice ass, and doing her bidding by spanking her and such while he fucked her hard. It wasn't a romantic and passionate way of making love, and they only kissed once. This was just casual sex, a way for the two of them to have a little bit of fun on their mission, and they were both more than fine with it being just that. In other words, they are just fuck buddies and there are no romantic feelings involved, and they don't want any drama. Their feelings are reserved for their partners back home in Konoha.

After talking with the Rower for a bit, Naruto found himself staring at Kakashi with a raised eyebrow, wondering how his father could have agreed to let this crazy person become a jounin teacher. The man is insane, and it seems like he has never dealt with the inner demons from his past. He is also worried that he will have to watch his back the whole mission, not only to defend himself and Tazuna from enemies who are after Tazuna, but also because he thinks Kakashi could want to get revenge from the humiliation he suffered last night.

“Once we return to Konoha, I will have you sent back to the ninja academy, Naruto!” Kakashi threatened venomously.

“Yeah...” Naruto said dragging out the word in a bored manner “Good luck with that..”.

Kakashi then snapped his head towards Naruto's left, where Sakura was sitting while smiling awkwardly, feeling a little bit embarrassed now that she has realized that everyone knows what she and Naruto did last night.

“The same goes for you, you succubus trollop!” Kakashi hissed at her “Because of your sins, the two of you have lost your right to wear those forehead protectors.”.

“Succubus trollop?” Sakura repeated in a low and scary tone, staring at Kakashi with an annoyed expression and her eyebrows twitching at the insult.

“Did you not learn your lesson last night?” Naruto asked, then added “Kakashi-sensei” using the sensei suffix in a venomously sarcastic manner.

Kakashi snorted, before turning his head away from them. He sat there sulking while, his students and even Tazuna stared at him, wondering what the hell is wrong with him.

“Sensei or not..” Sakura said as she stood up, cracking her knuckles in a threatening manner “I'm not gonna take tha—kyaaa!” Sakura exclaimed in surprise after their little rowing boat was hit by a wave that was powerful enough to cause the rowing boat to wobble a little bit. It made her lose her balance, and she fell backwards. Luckily for her, she landed on something that was much softer than the floor and the seats of the rowing boat, as she now found herself sitting in Tazuna's lap.

“Uh?” Sakura glanced behind her shoulders, and saw a very uncomfortable looking Tazuna staring back at her with raised eyebrows. Sakura then rocketed up to stand on her feet, before hurrying back to her own seat next to Naruto.

“Sorry about that, Tazuna-san!” Sakura apologized while bowing her head.

“Don't worry about it” Tazuna waved her off “I'm just happy you didn't hurt yourself” he said with a sigh, while thinking that Sakura had to be a bit of a clutz.

“Oh, you dog!” Naruto elbowed Sakura's side gently “Smooth move, you flirty succubus trollop, dattebayo!”.

“It's not like that! Cut it out already!” Sakura yelled, before smashing her fist down on top of Naruto's head “It was an accident, shannaro!”.

“Hehehe, sure it was!” Naruto laughed, while nursing a newly formed lump on top of his head, while at the same time dodging more incoming punches, courtesy of a very pissed off and embarrassed Sakura. Sakura wasn't all that pleased with Naruto having once again insinuated that she was flirting or otherwise trying to make a move on Tazuna, especially since that was clearly just an accident due to her losing her balance after that wave hit their rowing boat.

After a few hours long boat ride, the Rower had escorted Team 7 and Tazuna all the way to the island where the Wave Country is located. They still had a bit of a distance to cover before they would reach the village where Tazuna lives at, but at least they no longer have to worry about sea sickness or being seen traveling to the island on the open sea. They headed to Tazuna's home village, while Tazuna told them more about what he and the other people living her in Wave has gone through since Gato's arrival. The more they heard about what they have gone through, the less Team 7 could fault Tazuna for lying about the difficulty of the mission, in order to pay less for a C rank mission like this one. Even Kakashi and Sasuke was starting to feel bad for Tazuna and the others here in Wave, and they were also very motivated and fired up to do whatever they can to help.

After walking for two hours, Naruto and Kakashi sensed movement within a bush that was nearby.

“There!” Naruto yelled and threw a kunai at the bush, only for a cute little snow rabbit to come out running out of the bush.

“Naruto-kun!?” Sakura asked in disbelief “Why did you do that to that cute rabbit!” she asked, while lifting the rabbit up to gently pet it.

“Huh?” Naruto looked at the rabbit with narrowed eyes “I could've sworn I sensed something bigger.”.

“Maybe you sensed it's brain. It is definitely bigger than yours, Uzumaki” Sasuke chimed in.

“At least my dick is bigger than my pinkie finger” Naruto said with a snort.

Sasuke studied his own pinkie finger, before huffing in anger, causing Sakura's jaw to drop.

“No way!” She thought while staring at him in disbelief “It can't be that small!?”.

“Everyone, get down!” Kakashi called out, while a large thin and long object came flying towards them. It was a huge broadsword of some kind, which resembled a huge cleaver or a butcher's knife. All of them were able to dodge it safely, and the sword ended up stuck in the trunk of a tree. Before any of them could even comprehend what had just happened, a tall man, with very pale skin color, appeared, standing on top of the giant butcher knife like sword.

The newcomer is wearing his headband and forehead protector sideways on his head and he is shirtless with his chest only covered by a blue belt. He is also wearing baggy pants with the striped pattern typical of Kirigakure and mimetic wrist-warmers extending up to his elbows, with matching leg-warmers.

“Momochi Zabuza” Kakashi said in a serious tone, recognizing the newcomer immediately.

“Kakashi the copycat ninja” Zabuza replied, having recognized Kakashi just as easily, since the two of them are both very famous or infamous within the world of ninjas. Hearing the name of the newcomer got Sakura and Sasuke to tense up. Neither of them had recognized Zabuza when he appeared, but they knew who he was after Kakashi said his name. They had read about him and the other members of the seven swordsmen of the mist when they studied in the ninja academy.

Naruto had also heard quite a bit about Zabuza, most of it from his mom who always made Naruto think that she isn't the biggest fan of the seven swordsmen of the mist. Then again, she and Minato aren't exactly known to like any mist ninja, due to what happened in the third great ninja war. Instead of tensing up, Naruto was finding it hard to stand still, with his blood boiling in excitement. Just the thought of testing himself against a powerful ninja like this was enough for him to explode in excitement. This is after all what he has been waiting for for such a long time, to head out on adventures and fight against the best of the best.

“I do not care why you are here, or whether you are an enemy or not.” Kakashi said as he pulled up his headband that is usually always covering his left eye. Sasuke stared at Kakashi in disbelief when he saw his left eye, due to it clearly being a red eye of the sharingan, which should only be available to people of his clan.

“You are going to die today either way!” Kakashi said with an eye smile, causing Zabuza's eyes to widen, before he grabbed his huge broadsword, the sword named Kubikiribocho, before disappearing in a blur. Kakashi gave his students and order “Protect Tazuna!” before he as well disappeared in a blur, going after Zabuza.

Even though Naruto was more than ready and very eager to join the fight, he didn't hesitate to join Sakura and Sasuke in forming a protecting barrier in front of Tazuna. They were standing in a half circle in front of him, with Naruto to Tazuna's left, Sasuke to Tazuna's right, and Sakura standing in front. Being a genin, Naruto knew that he couldn't go against the orders of his jounin sensei, and due to what he and Sasuke did to Kakashi last night, he thought it would be in his best interest to just do what Kakashi told him to do this time around.

Kakashi and Zabuza put on an impressive display, exchanging blows, kicks and high level ninja techniques. Kakashi's students got to see for themselves why Kakashi is known as the copycat ninja, since with the help of his sharingan, he copied Zabuza's water techniques and used them against him during the battle.

Tazuna was terrified at what he saw, wondering how humans could possibly use that kind of power. It made Sakura nervous that they were up against such a strong enemy on their first mission. Even though she has trained with both Jiraiya and Tsunade, and she thinks that she is more than ready to take on bandits, pirates and other genin level ninja, she knows that she is not ready to fight a ninja of Zabuza's caliber. Sasuke shares Sakura's thoughts for the most part, but watching Kakashi use his lone sharingan eye that well, excited him for what could be in store for him in the future. Then there was Naruto, who looked like he wasn't even watching the fight, having his eyes closed and smiling in a very fox like manner. When Sakura glanced at Naruto, he looked like he was shaking to her, making her think that even Naruto would get nervous in a situation like this. In reality, Naruto was just bouncing in excitement, eagerly waiting for an opportunity to jump into the battle.

The fight went on for several minutes, with Kakashi appearing to have the upper hand. Zabuza recognized that as well, so he ended up using one of his trump cards. That would be a technique which covers the whole area within a thick foggy mist. This is a ninja that is used by many shinobi from the village hidden in the mist, and the name of the technique is even named after their village. The name of the technique is “Ninja Art: Hidden Mist Jutsu”.

Soon after the whole area had been covered in mist, Tazuna and Kakashi's students heard Kakashi yell “Be on guard! His target is most likely Tazuna!”.

Tazuna gulped, while Sakura nodded and looked determined and armed herself with a kunai.

“Too late..” Zabuza said with an evil laugh, with him appearing out of nowhere from the mist, just a few meters in front of them. The only reason he had been able to get this close to them, is because Kakashi is currently fighting another Zabuza, which means that one of the two is a clone.

Sasuke tensed up, reaching for his kunai holster as well to arm himself with a few shurikens, while Sakura took a few steps back in fear, surprised by Zabuza's sudden appearance.

“Oh?” Naruto uttered with a gleeful smile, opening a lone eye to stare at Zabuza's clone “Is it finally my time to shine?” Naruto thought hopefully.

Naruto's joy and hopes were crushed when Kakashi likewise appeared out of nowhere from the mist, and threw a kunai into Zabuza's back. That Zabuza turned out to be nothing but a water clone.

“You are not the only one who can use clones, Zabuza..” the real Kakashi said in a bored tone from the distance.

“Let's see how long you can keep up with me, Kakashi!” Zabuza barked back at him.

Kakashi's clone, which Tazuna and the genins of Team 7 could still see in front of them, eye smiled at them and said “Don't worry team, I won't let any of my teammates die.” before dispelling.

Naruto grunted in disappointment, before pouting, while the other three breathed out in relief. Now that they were out of danger, at least for now, both Tazuna and Sakura couldn't help but notice that they were once again standing a little bit too close for comfort. Sakura's butt is once again pressed into Tazuna's groin, and that was a result of her having taken a few steps back earlier, after she was taken by surprise by the appearance of Zabuza's clone. Sakura quickly took two steps forward, before looking back at Tazuna with a sheepish smile “Sorry about that, Tazuna-san.”.

“Don't worry about it. I can't blame you for being nervous in this situation. I'm almost pissing my pants here as well” Tazuna said while gulping.

Suddenly Naruto felt a disturbance in the force. He could sense three new chakra signatures near them, standing somewhere within the thick mist.

“Hehehe!” Naruto giggled “This has to be it, right? It's my time now, right? You're gonna put me in, right, coach!?”.

“Naruto-kun?” Sakura asked in confusion.

“That idiot must have sensed Zabuza's clones which are surrounding us. Be on guard, Sakura.” Sasuke said with his eyes focused on trying to locate anything moving within the thick mist.

“I will, thanks, Sasuke” Sakura said, with her once again holding her kunai firmly.

During that time, Kakashi and his clones were trying to take out Zabuza and all of his clones, but he wasn't able to take out all of them in time. One of the clones ended up getting away from him, and that clone was now standing behind Tazuna, with his giant broadsword drawn, and he was ready to strike.

“Watch out!” Kakashi called out helplessly, reaching with his arm towards them, and all of his attention was now on that Zabuza clone, Tazuna and his students. That is exactly what Zabuza wanted to accomplish, as the real Zabuza appeared behind Kakashi, trapping him within one of his techniques, the Water Prison Technique. This is a technique which traps whoever the target is in a small body of water, slowly suffocating the target and rendering the target unable to move or use chakra. The only way to escape from it is to make the user of the technique cancel out the technique, which can be done in one way or another.

Kakashi who was now stuck in that water prison, was no longer worried about his team, instead he was sweat dropping at what he had seen with his sharingan eye.

“Tazuna-san, are you okay?” Sakura asked, while looking around them, trying to locate Zabuza's clone which had disappeared out of nowhere.

“Yeah, I think? What happened?” Tazuna asked, his heartbeat extremely high due to him thinking that he was going to die just a second ago.

“Only one person here can move that fast” Sasuke spoke through gritted teeth “Isn't that right, Uzumaki?”.

“Hehehe” Naruto laughed childishly, while still standing at the same spot where he has been standing for pretty much the whole fight, with his eyes closed and smiling foxily.

The real Zabuza canceled out the mist technique, giving him and everyone else a clear view of the area again. He stared at Naruto with narrowed eyes, wondering what kind of genin is able to move that fast. Naruto had sneakily and casually thrown a tri-pronged kunai back at Zabuza, and before Zabuza could even register that, a Naruto clone had appeared and slit the throat of Zabuza's clone, using a kunai. Naruto's clone then dispelled before anyone else could register what was going on.

Zabuza knows that there is one man in Konoha, who is well known in the whole world, who is described to look very similar to what Naruto looks like. That man is Namikaze Minato, the most dangerous man in the world, who is also known as the fastest ninja alive. Knowing that, Zabuza could safely assume that this genin on Kakashi's team is likely related to Namikaze Minato. Then he remembered something, which was what the Uchiha genin of the team had called this blond spiky haired brat. That would be Uzumaki.

“You are the son of the fourth hokage and that crazy bitch!” Zabuza yelled out, while pointing his free hand, the right hand that he is not using to channel chakra into the water prison that is entrapping Kakashi, towards Naruto.

“Crazy bitch?” Naruto asked in a low tone, before his whole demeanor darkened. He has never been a fan of anyone disrespecting or insulting his mother in any way. That is well known in Konoha.

“That crazy bitch nearly killed me during the war!” Zabuza spoke through gritted teeth, as he shamefully remembered how Kushina had taken him and his allied mist shinobi out with ease during a battle with her in the third great ninja war. She was on a completely different level compared to him back then, and she had basically toyed with them. It is a miracle that Zabuza survived his encounter with her, because most of his squad members ended up being killed by Konoha's Red Death on that day.

Zabuza used his right hand to do a series of one handed hand signs, to summon a new water clone of himself. Now with Kakashi trapped, he is going to have some fun taking out who he is certain is the son of the hokage, and the evil Konoha she-devil, who defeated him the last war. As the clone came rushing towards them, a scared Sakura once again took a few steps back, and ended up with her butt pressing into Tazuna's groin. She didn't let her butt linger on him this time, as she immediately noticed her mistake and took a step forward.

“Sorry again, I'm such a clutz..” Sakura said in a dejected tone, which Tazuna, Naruto and Sasuke barely heard. Tazuna was too busy to be terrified of the monster that is coming at them, and he didn't even notice Sakura's mistake this time, while Naruto and Sasuke were preparing to join the battle.

“Let's see who can take him out first, Sasuke!” Naruto challenged with a big grin, before handing Sasuke a large shuriken, which is called a Fuma shuriken.

“Hmm?” Sasuke hummed in confusion, while he and the others watched a laughing Naruto rush towards Zabuza's clone, with a giant rasengan in his right hand.

“Hahahaha!” Naruto laughed in joy, happy to finally get some action “You better not disappoint, you ugly son of a bitch!”.

“Ugly?” Zabuza asked in disbelief, watching his clone being dispelled by the giant mass of spiraling and swirling chakra, that is Naruto's giant rasengan.

“Why else do you wear that mask?” Naruto asked.

“Hey now..” Kakashi said with a sigh, feeling that he had to defend the masked people, who aren't all ugly.

While a bit infuriated, Zabuza ignored the insult for now, as he summoned two more clones. “What will you do now, Uzumaki!?” Zabuza challenged in a menacing tone.

“Clones?” Naruto asked while grinning in that foxy manner. He then created an army of shadow clones, which was easily more than one thousand. They all channeled up a rasengan in their right hands, before launching themselves at Zabuza and his clones. Zabuza was able to take most of them out, using a water dragon technique, but he had lost his clones and his field of vision straight ahead. He noticed it too late, and had to jump to dodge a fuma shuriken, the one that Naruto had given to Sasuke earlier, which Sasuke had now thrown at Zabuza. While Zabuza thought that he was safe, smiling smugly at Naruto who was still just standing there with a dumb smile on his face, the fuma shuriken transformed into yet another clone of Naruto. This time Zabuza would not be able to dodge him, unless he gets the hell out of there. And that is exactly what he did, and that was enough to cancel out the water prison technique, meaning that Kakashi was freed once again.

Zabuza was now standing in a small river, using chakra to stand on top of the surface of the water. Kakashi joined him on top of that river in an instant, his sharingan eye activated, copying whatever hand signs Zabuza was doing, in preparation to use the same technique. At that time, Sasuke had joined Naruto at the front lines, giving Naruto a rare acknowledgment.

“That wasn't a half bad plan, coming from you, Uzumaki.”.

“Even a broken clock is right twice a day” Naruto said with a chuckle.

“I suppose so..”.

Sakura who was now the only one guarding Tazuna, glanced back at him with a sheepish smile “I'm really sorry for bumping into you, I am not doing it on on purpose. I am just clumsy and I am not used to fighting enemies of this level.” She explained with a faint blush, due to how embarrassed she was about the whole mess.

“Like I said earlier, don't worry about it. I know how you feel, I am probably more terrified than you are.” Tazuna said with a chuckle.

“Thanks for being so understanding, Tazuna-san” Sakura said and smiled at him warmly, causing Tazuna to nod back at her with a smile of his own.

Their nerves were calming now that they saw Kakashi blast Zabuza away with a copied water technique. It was the “Water Style: Giant Waterfall" technique. Zabuza was already low on chakra, and Kakashi was performing the technique faster than him. He had lost, and when the water dispersed, he was left laying on his back against a destroyed tree trunk.

"So this is how it ends for the 'Demon of the Mist'?" Kakashi said as he approached the former Mist shinobi.

Three thin senbon needles, a kind of needle who is often used by ninjas, had been launched at Zabuza from somewhere up above. The needles were planted into Zabuza's neck, seemingly killing him off in an instant.

"I guess so." A new voice said, which was a gentle and feminine voice. Kakashi looked up and saw what looked like a young hunter nin of the Mist village, the equivalent to Konoha's anbu, standing on a large tree branch. The hunter nin wore a mask, which is standard for hunter nins and anbu to keep their identities a secret. The arrival of this newcomer startled Sakura and gave her a jump scare. With a squeal of "Kyaaa!" She once again jumped backwards, and found herself with her butt being pressed into Tazuna again.

This time Sakura could just laugh at the stupidity of this situation, thinking that it was starting to get absurd now. Tazuna couldn't help but laugh along with her, feeling a little bit sorry for her, knowing that she was likely a lot more embarrassed about their awkward bumping into each other than he is.

"God, I'm such a clutz.." Sakura said while shaking her head "I'm just glad that Naruto-kun didn't see it these times. He would just tease me about it, even though it's clearly happening by accident..".

"Yeah, well.." Tazuna said while staring at her with an awkward grimace, thinking that she had been pressed up against him long enough now. Especially since he was starting to get a hard on, even though they are, or at least had been in this dangerous situation, which finally looks to be over.

Sakura placed a hand against her chest, and took a deep breath "Let's go to the others. It looks like it's finally over." she said, before she started walking towards Naruto and Sasuke.

"Okay" Tazuna said, following her with a breath of relief of his own. He was relieved that she had finally removed that butt from his groin, especially now that he was walking behind her and was getting a good look at it. He thought that there was no wonder that he started to get hard, because that might be the finest piece of ass he has ever seen in his life. It's a shame that he is so much older than her, and as Tazuna believes, she is already together with Naruto judging by what happened last night, because otherwise Tazuna might had been interested trying his luck with her. But reality is that he is an old drunk and a construction worker, while she is a young beautiful kunoichi, maybe the most beautiful young woman he has seen in his life, who surely must have many admirers. He wouldn't even dream of “trying his luck” with her due to that, and has no intentions of doing so. But he doesn't mind admiring her ass for now.

Kakashi agreed to let the hunter nin take Zabuza's corpse with him, and soon after that he collapsed due to chakra exhaustion.

“Kakashi-sensei!” Sakura yelled in a worried tone, before running up to him. She started checking on him, using the little medical expertise she had been taught by Tsunade already.

“I'm fine, I just won't be able to walk for a while. I used my sharingan too much, which used up to much of my chakra.” Kakashi explained.

“My house is not far from here” Tazuna said, his eyes no longer inappropriately studying the buttocks of the lone kunoichi of Team 7 “We could carry him to my house and let him rest there.”.

“Naruto-kun..” Sakura said with a smug smile.

“Why me?” Naruto whined.

“Aren't you the strongest one here?” Sakura asked.

“Yeah, but I'm not touching that thing willingly.” Naruto said with a disgusted expression.

“Shut it, you heathen..” Kakashi said in a tired tone.

Naruto turned to Sasuke with a mischievous smile “Let's play rock paper scissors for it!”.

“You're on, Uzumaki!” Sasuke agreed, happy to beat what he considers to be his rival in any form of competition.

“Rock paper scissors, go!” They said and Naruto won by choosing the trusty choice of the rock, which beats the scissors.

“Hahaha!” Naruto laughed and pointed at Sasuke, who dejectedly picked up Kakashi and carried him awkwardly.

After a thirty minute walk, where Naruto was making fun of Sasuke, and a defenseless Kakashi, they arrived in the town where Tazuna's house is located. His house is located a bit outside of the town, surrounded by nature. When they arrived, they were greeted by a beautiful woman, with long dark blue hair, and she had something else that caught Naruto's attention. That something was something that Sakura lacks, and it's something that Naruto always looks for in a woman. That would be a set of nice big ol titties. The name of this woman is Tsunami, and she is Tazuna's daughter.

After letting Tsunami welcome her father back with a warm hug, Naruto shined up and grinned from ear to ear “Yo, I'm naruto!” he greeted her.

Sakura saw Tsunami blush as she greeted Naruto back with a smile of her own, and she had a feeling that she wouldn't be spending any more nights together with Naruto on this mission.
