Kakashi, Menma, Naruto, Sakura, and Kushina were briefed about the new mission, Akatsuki attacked Suna and managed to kidnap Kazekage. Their mission was simple: save Gaara and find something new about Akatsuki and, if possible, kill them. Yondaime promised to send team 8 to help them.
On their way to Suna, they met Temari. In three days they managed to get to Suna. There they found out that Kankuro was badly poisoned, but thanks to Sakura's medical prowess he was saved. They managed to track Akatsuki via Kakashi's dog summon with a piece of Sasori's robe. But on their way, they encountered Hiruko and Kisame.
Kakashi, Sakura, Menma, and Chio went to fight Hiruko and Naruto with Kushina went to fight Kisame.
"He is weaker than he should be," Kushina whispered.
"What do you mean?" Naruto asked.
"He has way less chakra than he should."
"May I go for him myself? I want to test myself against someone strong."
"Well..." despite knowing he was strong, she was still worried about him, but anyway she was close and could help, "you can go, sochi."
"Thanks," he flashed her a smile.
"Are you done, lovebirds?" Kisame joked, which caused both Uzumaki to blush and jump from each other. Mist nin only laughed. "Well, I hope, you can match me, kiddo. I don't want to return you to your mom in pieces."
They simultaneously completed the handsign sequence.
"Water release: Great waterfall technique!"
"Water release: Great waterfall technique!"
Two huge water masses collided and the whole battlefield was flooded.
"That was nice, kid! You pack some power, I hope you won't disappoint later."
Naruto grunted in response and pulled kunai and rushed towards his opponent. Kisame slowly removed Samehada from his back. "I doubt you understand how strong I am," said swordsman. Naruto just smirked and evaded powerful swing. He threw kunai, Kisame titled his head and kunai passed by. But it was just a distraction. "Hidden shadow snakes," five cobras threw themselves from Naruto's sleeve and coiled around Kisame and bit him. Kisame turned into water. "I hope now you can take me seriously. What a shame for a swordsman to lose to a kid, right?," Naruto taunted.
Real Kisame appeared from a puddle. "Well, you defeated my water clone pretty fast, let's see, how you will face a real one," he said and passed a handsign sequence, "Water release: Water shark bullet technique." Giant water shark attached Naruto, but he just pulled a piece of paper and imprinted something on it with chakra, "Fuinjutsu: Water sealing technique," the whole attack was pulled into this piece of paper, "Your ninjutsu won't work against me. Try harder."
Kisame was furious that some kid shrugged him off like a nuisance. "You got yourself a death wish kid. Water style: Exploding water colliding wave!" Like a tsunami, his jutsu changed a whole landscape and turned a deserted area into a lake. Naruto managed to stay on the surface but it was hard. 'Shit, his ninjutsu prowess is nothing to joke about, but he must have wasted a ton of chakra to use this attack. It is known that Samehada eats chakra. I must separate them." Naruto thought.
He shunshined close to Kisame and attempted to strike him with kunai, but Kisame simply jumped away and used his huge sword to kill Naruto. Naruto just smiled at the incoming attack and sank in the water. Just after that chains erupted from underwater and coiled around Samehada. 'Shit, I can't use chakra, how can he have Kongo Fusa?' cursed Kisame. A long blade appeared from the water and Kisame had to let Samehada go to save his life. Naruto rose to the surface with Kusanagi returning to its usual length. "Let's see, how you fight without your favorite toy," Naruto sealed Samehada away, "now it can't escape. Let's dance, shall we?"
Now Kisame was truly afraid that he would lose to this kid, not that it really bothered him, but still. He kept his calm, "Well, you can fight, fight smart. You even managed to destroy my water clone and take away my sword. But I became the strongest swordsman not just for these things. Now it's time for the real battle." Naruto laughed, "real battle will be when I will face real you." Now Kisame was surprised, "What?! You knew?" "Sure I did", Naruto answered and in a red blur appeared in front of Kisame, swordsman couldn't even react to it as Naruto planted a piece of paper on him chest, "Fuinjutsu: Water sealing technique: Release." Kisame coughed up blood as a water shark broke out of his back. Kisame fell to the ground (well, they fight on a lake so maybe on water?) with a hole in his body, dead. Paper fell off his body and Naruto saw unknown shinobi.
"Interesting technique," Naruto mused.
"You shouldn't use my cloak so carelessly. It's supposed to be your trump card," a deep voice sounded in his head.
'Sorry, Kurama. I needed to finish this battle fast. And I don't think he understood what had happened.'
"Just be careful, gaki."
Unlike Menma, who prouded himself to be a kind, cheerful and overall good person, Naruto understood all his own faults, weaknesses, desires, he accepted his darkness and inner demons, and this allowed him to impress and eventually befriend mighty Kyuubi no Kitsune or as he learned later Kurama. Kushina was surprised at this development but was proud of her son to achieve something like that. Eventually, Naruto became a perfect jinchuuriki, while Menma under Jiraya's tutelage managed to access only three tails.
Another group also defeated their opponent and they united again. They reached the cave, where Akatsuki performed their ritual. Naruto and Kushina went to break the Five-seal barrier and safely remove its tags, while the rest of their group and recently arrived Team 8 stayed to fight Akatsuki.
Naruto and Kushina with some troubles managed to break the seal, but it took too much time to join and help another group with Akatsuki, but nevertheless, that group managed to kill Sasori and make Deidara leave. Naruto came in time to save them from explosion using space-time barrier. Lady Chio sacrificed herself to resurrect Gaara and Suna-Konoha group went to Suna.
They were passing through the crowd towards Kazekage tower.
"That was a good mission, despite you taking all fun," Kushina accused Naruto in a joking manner.
"Oh, mom, I'm sorry I offended you."
Some people around giggled whispering something like "mama's boy" or "he is whipped". Naruto just glared at them and said, "If you want to anger Red Hot Habanero, you are welcome to try." Everyone shut up after this. "Yay! People still remember me!" Kushina bumped fist in the air. Everyone sweatdropped. Naruto only smiled at this, Kushina was acting more and more like her younger self, more confident, more joyful. Despite winning her heart and soul, she still was depressed and insecure, but she was slowly opening up, both in bed and in public.
"Still, I want you to take me to the restaurant," she told him.
"Sure," Naruto agreed.
In the evening Naruto and Kushina were sitting in one of the most expensive Suna restaurants "Desert raccoon", which was owned by Temari and named after her brother's burden. They were eating their favorite ramen and some dango because they wanted something sweet.
"You are a very good son, you know?" she said looking directly into his eyes.
"Thanks, mom. I really appreciate it," he answered with a small smile.
He suddenly felt something rubbing his crotch. tablecloth concealed everything happening under the table from unwanted eyewitnesses.
"If you'll pull your pants down, I'll do something you'll like," she whispered with a playful grin.
He understood what she wanted and did as she said. Her bare feet were rubbing his already hard dick. This was something he wasn't ready for, he had never expected her to be brave like this. He tried to hold back groans but it was hard to do. He breathed heavily as her tender feet were working on his shaft. Up down, up down, up down. The next day Konoha shinobis were coming home. They were slowly coming towards the gates of the village. The mission went fine and things looked good for both villages. The only thing they lost was Ichibi, but somehow Gaara maintained his control over sand, but if the price for this was the life of one of Akatsuki and the identities of the other three, so be it. What Naruto didn't notice was the evil glint in Kiba's eyes.
As every male in Konoha (and some females) he had a sort of crush on Kushina Uzumaki-Namikaze. She was strong, beautiful, kind and caring, did I mention beautiful? She was everything a man could wish and almost every man many times dreamed of her. Kiba was no exception, so when he felt the same sex scent from both Naruto and Kushina, he didn't want to lose his chance. The nose of Inuzuka is a very dangerous tool, so even after taking shower, our incestuous couple still couldn't get rid of the sex scent.
"Hey, Naruto," he greeted him after the mission report.
"Kiba," calmly answered Naruto.

"Maybe, I've got no idea," Naruto shrugged, "why do you ask me? You can ask your mother or search in the library."

"I didn't", Naruto denied, "I have no idea what dog had bitten you, but you are imagining things."
"I don't imagine anything, I felt your sex scent, Naruto, you don't want a Yamanaka to check this up, right?"
Naruto frowned, "What do you want, Kiba?"
"A piece of hot MILF of course," he answered honestly, " you can agree or the whole village will know about it after I show my memories to Ino." Ino was a gossip queen, so she wouldn't hold such information.
"You are trying to blackmail clan head?"
"I do," he said, "I will give you one week. Choose wisely, Naruto. Maybe after that she will leave you for me," he turned away and went home.
'I have underestimated your abilities, Kiba, I have blundered with our sex in Suna, but you have no idea who do you play with.' Naruto thought darkly.
So here it is, a new chapter. Less porn, more plot, more wanton Kushina, some Naruto's abilities, and blackmailing Kiba.
About Naruto and Kurama. Well, the whole problem in canon was inner darkness and Kurama's hate for humans, cause they lie and use him. I made Naruto dark, so he had no inner darkness, and he was honest with Kyuubi about his desires. So they are not two kind friends like in canon, they are two dark friends, Naruto didn't take away Kurama's hate, he accepted the Fox as he is and that's how they became friends.
Back to Minato. Here are the options:
1) Hana - unusual, young, and wild, 21 in canon, so he could have her for about 7 years, can be made older to avoid pedo themes.
2) Anko - obvious option, 28 in canon, great option, but I think it's overused.
3) Tsume - unusual one, older and wild. Single woman and a clan head, can she go for the clan that far to steal her friend's husband? It's a good question.
4) Mei - I have seen Minato/Mei somewhere so I would like to avoid it, but it's not a very fitting option, because she is an important person for not so long time.
5) Mabui - unusual one, hot kunoichi from Cloud and well... For the village alliance, it can be done, age is also fitting.
6) Multiple lovers.
