A/N: Hey ya'll! Hehes, welcome back for the next chappie of Marriage Should Be Easy, Right? Oh, how I have some interesting stuff planned for this.

Chapter 5: Blitz
Conducting the tests meant that each pair would be separated into their duos. They are to work as a team in order to accomplish this to prove that they belong in and to the Akatsuki. Each member has had to go through this before they were approved into the family. First off, would be Kakashi and Sasuke. What they have to do is initiate their bond. While they have more or less admitted their feelings they would have to do this and then the other part of their test. The latter would be finding a few scrolls hidden throughout the village.
Going to a rooftop they glanced around to ensure no one would be looking up here. Grabbing the Uchiha by the wrist, Kakashi pulled him taut against him before pressing his lips firmly against his own. Indeed he agreed to the rules placed by the leaders. No matter what he wouldn't fail in this test of wills. Besides, he's wanted to do this with Sasuke for a long time by now. Though obviously it wouldn't just be a walk in the park to finish everything off in one foul swoop. No, it would take an immense effort to satisfy the leaders to the utmost degree. Failure meant severe punishments would be set in place.
When the two broke from their kiss to regain some much needed oxygen, Sasuke's eyes darkened with a swirl of emotion ranging from lust to passion and even love, "Let's do this, shall we?"
"Hn, let's and I ensure you that you'll enjoy every moment of it."

Meanwhile, while the other pairs are carrying out to complete their tests, left Orochimaru and Naruto to relax. The other members of the organization are already off in their separate couples to do whatever they pleased. Knowing that it left them with some alone time has caused the Otokage to concoct some plans for his beloved jinchurriki.
"So, how are you dealing with things so far?" Inquired the serpentine shinobi, figuring it best to ask with all the changes that have taken place so far.
"It's kind of weird seeing the teme with sensei, but I'm glad he's happy," admitted Naruto, knowing he would need to get used to it. "And Sakura seems happy too. I'm glad they all found someone to spend their days with."
"then what could possibly be bothering you?" Orochimaru wanted to know, snaking an arm around his husband, pulling him close against him to have Naruto lay his head on his chest comfortably.
"I don't know," sighed the blonde, feeling at ease with being so close to the other male, thinking it over before answering his question better. "Maybe it's just with how they didn't seem to approve of our marriage."
"But you knew that might happen," countered his partner, running a few slender fingers through the golden locks with a butterfly touch. "Not everyone will be so ready to accept a union between a jinchurriki and a Sanin."
"True," frowned Naruto, brushing his unease off, feeling as if their problems are only just beginning. "Do you want to build a family, Oreo?"
"With you? Of course," replied the snake without hesitation, wanting Naruto to ask before anything further would happen between them, figuring letting things settle first would be the best progressive step forward.
"Who would carry the kids though?" Naruto wanted to know, happy to hear the answer, but it still carried another string of questions to sprout in response. "Are we even ready to become parents?"
"Indeed we are, my dear," purred Orochimaru, pleased to feel the pleasant chills running down his spine. "I'll see if Kabuto can conduct some research to seek out the answers you desire. He'll have them for us in a matter of days."
"Good," Naruto felt satisfied at knowing that, hoping that it wouldn't take too long until they figure things out to start their family together.
"Until then we live out our lives the way we see fit. People outside of Ame might not approve, but we'll appreciate those who do," murmured Orochimaru, doing his best to reassure his mate that everything would be alright.
"I know," agreed Naruto, continuing to rest peacefully against him, feeling so comfortable that he began dozing lightly.
Chuckling in amusement by this, Orochimaru suspected this would happen eventually. He did like how when Naruto slept that he looked so peaceful. After experiencing so much strife in his life up to a certain point it did feel as if it's his obligation to ensure the rest of it is spent in a better frame of mind. Indeed there would still be some issues to work out that are affected by the past. Though with him remaining by his husband's side they would be able to work through anything with each other supporting one another. Having the blonde's comrades here doesn't bother him. No, it only adds to reassure a thought Orochimaru had a while ago. It was whenever they forged their bond that they would follow at assuming he had kidnapped the fox. They were sorely mistaken when they eventually did find out the truth.
"So much transpires in such a span of time... I wonder how long I'll last before the illness calls death to take me away. But if Kabuto finds out a cure before I reach that point then I'll be able to succeed in staying by Naruto's side."
A/N: Yays! Done with chappie six! I'm terribly sorry that this took me what seems like almost ages to complete. Some things came up that stalled me in updating this along with some other things. Obviously as you can tell I'm back in full swing with updating my stories along with working on some new ones.
Hopefully y'all don't mind how long it took. It's definitely pleasing to be working on this again along with some others. Hopefully I can remain strong with updating stories and working on them at the usual steady pace. Hehes
