A/N: hey y'all! Welcome back for the next chappie of Would You Care If I Stayed Or Left. Hmmm, there are quite a couple of plans I have for this chappie and further ones for this story along with my other stuff that needs to be updated. So, diabolical plans of doom are to be expected. Hehes

Chapter 5: Decision
Naruto
Seeing Obito grow up so far has been an awestruck experience so far. There aren't enough words for me to accurately describe this feeling. Being a parent hasn't been easy so far. Though I do enjoy it. Besides, I have Itachi to help out. It feels better knowing that I'm not on my own. Going out is an anxiety inducing experience though considering with how the civilians of Konoha are towards me.
Do people honestly care how fast or slow things have gone between Itachi and myself? I don't see why we should give a shit. It's part of moving on in life. We brush off the past to make the present better for the future. If people don't like it then they can remain shut out of our lives. Perhaps that makes me kind of an ass, but it's how I feel. Deciding to take Obito on a walk we went down a path in the back ways so we would be out of any sight of people who might cause harm. Most likely Itachi would use some of his crows would be sent to keep an eye out just in case. It's adorable how he can be somewhat overprotective.
"Dad?" Obito piped up, breaking the silence between us.
"Yes?" I wonder what could be on his mind.
"There are so many colors," the three-year-old looked around intently, surveying the scenery while we walked.
"Mmm, indeed there is," I murmured in agreement, continuing to walk with him until we headed back for home.
Going inside, I checked the time. It's about the right time when Obito is put down for his nap. I'm surprised that he doesn't get cranky much. Well, he used to be during the terrible two's. Though he's getting better somehow. Either that or he's used to the schedule. When I make sure he's asleep I close the door quietly behind me before going to join with Itachi in the other room. Noticing he's sitting with a cup of coffee I wonder if anything is wrong. Going up to him I sat beside him.
"is something on your mind?" I playfully poked his side, gaining his attention.
"Well, my little brother wishes to see you apparently," noted Itachi dryly, making me stiffen at hearing this.
"Why?" I frowned, not sure why the other Uchiha would want to see me again after a few years, figuring he must've moved on by now.
"he's with Orochimaru," replied Itachi, knowing where my train of thought is leading me to. "Why he wants to see you....well, I have no idea myself."
Sighing, I need to think this over. Do I want to see Sasuke again? Why would he want to after all this time? Does he want to be involved in Obito's life? If so, then I'm not sure about that either. Obito wouldn't recognize him considering Sasuke has been absent all this time. Spending that precious time with someone else after separating doesn't seem fair. Then again, life is a bitch with how things unfolded. The only good things in my life right now are my son and Itachi. Supposedly I do need to take the bad with the good, appreciating those moments of paradise when the drama llama decides to rear its ugly head.
"Ok, but on one condition," I told him after several moments of thinking things over.
"What?" Itachi looked at me intently, knowing he wanted to make sure this doesn't turn into a stressful occasion.
"You need to be there with me," I told him, giving a pleading look, knowing if I'm left alone with Sasuke then an argument and fighting would spur up.
"Very well then. You have my word, Uzumaki."

Orochimaru
"Why do you want to see him after all this time?" I wanted to know, figuring my partner must have a valid reason behind this.
"Because while things didn't go well during the divorce I do want to see if there's anything that can be salvaged," admitted Sasuke, figuring that did make sense.
"Do you want me there?" I asked him, snaking an arm around him to hold him close, knowing he has my full support no matter what happens.
"Hn, I don't see why not," he relaxed within my grasp, pleased to see he's grown accustomed to how I am.
"Good," leaning in I kissed him passionately, receiving a moan to have his lips part, pushing my long tongue inside to swipe around his most cavern.
In this intense liplock we made out for a few long moments until we needed to recover some much needed oxygen. Having him pant lightly at the verge of being breathless amuses me. Seeing his eyes grow dark with a variety of emotions within those onyx depths is also pleasing. There has been the thought of having sex again with him. The thing is I wanted to give him time to get over the whole divorce first.
"Remind me something, will you?" I purred, feeling chills rush down his spine from the tone I use on him.
"W-What?" Breathed out the Uchiha, locking gazes to have onyx meet with amber.
"Are you a top or a bottom?" I smirked, making him blush a shade of scarlet, knowing that we haven't discussed this yet though it needed to be addressed whether he likes it or not.
"Top," admitted Sasuke, pleased at hearing this tidbit of information.
"Good. Then you're welcome to claim what's yours tonight. We'll set things up to have some required fun to initiate a new beginning."
A/N: Yays! Done with chappie five! It's kind of short, but oh welp. The quality of things is more important to me than the quantity. Besides, there's enough context within shortie chappies too aside from longer ones. As things progress I'll be adding in more povs considering there are side pairings aside from the two main ones. They'll be involved within due time. Hehes
I hope y'all enjoyed what happened this time. I appreciate all of the support given to this so far. I hope it continues that way.
