Shiona: When I was freshman in high school there was a pregnant girl that I became friends with. She was in my gym class. We didn’t do anything in there, it was like a free period for us. Some jerk threw a basketball at her, straight at her stomach! It was a damn good thing another friend was there to stop it before it hit her.
A Day of Hell

“WHAT THE HELL SASUKE!?” Was the first thing out of Neji’s mouth. The yell called Naruto to shoot up looking around terrified. Kiba rushed to his side, as Gaara tried to keep himself and Neji calm. They didn’t need Naruto seeing them go into an anger rampage again. Sasuke looks at Neji glaring slightly.
“You shouldn’t yell, it’s bad for your throat. Nothing happened Neji. It was dark, Naruto didn’t want to show me where he lived. I couldn’t just let him walk back to his house in the dark! So I offered for him to come back here. I gave him some of my clothes to wear to bed. He only put on the shirt over his boxers. He didn’t want the pants! I offered him the bed, and I would take the floor! He wanted to sleep in the bed with me, because he was scared okay!?” Sasuke was panting by the time he was done.
Neji was quiet, Gaara looked thoughtful. He was not one to trust easily, but he could see the logic in Sasuke’s words. Neji was fuming mad. He knew he should of taken Naruto with them when the left! Damn Naruto’s cuteness to fuckin’ hell! Naruto was looking at him, tears in his eyes. He was scared. Scared of him. Quickly Neji went to him and knelt down.
“Naruto it’s okay. I’m here now. Sasuke won’t…” He was stopped when Naruto smacked him. Naruto had smacked him! He couldn’t believe it.
“Neji, Sasuke is your friend. He didn’t do anything to me. It’s true. What he said…You know how I am about my apartment. I couldn’t let him see where I live. What if he told the others then…I can handle him telling the others he slept with me. That I was a whore, because I go through that already.” Naruto spoke softly, his voice cracking.
“I couldn’t allow him to tell the other’s where I live! I could barely trust you with that the first time I met you at Gaara’s house!” Tears were beginning to slide down his whiskered cheeks. “I was terrified when he brought you over the next day to walk with us to school! You were Sasuke’s friend! Friend of my horrid slutty, bitchy, harlot…Hoe Bag of a cousin! Not even she knows where I live, because she’d tell! If they found out…”
He broke into sobs, making everyone tense. Neji tried to hug him, but Naruto jerked from him. This caused his body to fall onto Sasuke who hesitantly put his arms around him. Sasuke didn’t know what to do, so he let the blonde lean on him and cry. Neji looked hurt, but he understood
“Okay Naruto…I understand. I over reacted. Sasuke isn’t the type to force or seduce. No that is the other way around when it comes to him.” Though Neji spoke cryptically, Naruto seemed to understand as he slowly pulled away. Shino had gone and gotten tissues and a wet clothe. Itachi had walked in, in nothing but a towel.
“What the hell is with all the yelling!? And who made that cute blonde cry?” He looked annoyed, glaring at everyone.
Naruto blew his nose, as he let Neji clean his face with the clothe. Gaara stared at the older Uchiha with a non-eyebrow. It only took a moment for Itachi to realize, leave then come back with clothes.
“You woke Deidara up. He will be in here momentarily to tell you all off. I suggest you hide the cute blonde. Dei-Dei-chan will want to smother him in hugs. Sasuke, when you and all your little friends come down for breakfast, I want an explanation!” With that said Itachi left them. Sasuke and Neji tensed at what Itachi had said. Deidara was here?! Not good!
Quickly moving, they got Naruto into the bathroom with Sasuke getting dressed. Kiba, and Gaara looked confused, but Shino sighed gently. This was not good at all. Naruto would have to come out of the bathroom at some point. When he did, Deidara would be upset that Sasuke and Neji hid him.
Just as they closed the door to the bathroom, they heard footsteps. Suddenly a very disheveled blonde entered the room. His long blonde hair was tangled, the bangs that were usually done to cover half his face, was all over his face. Blue eyes were wild, and angry.
“What the hell is wrong with you people!? It’s eight in the damn morning! What the in the seven fuckin’ hells are all of you makin’ so much fuckin’ noise!” yelled the angry blonde. He looked at each of them, slightly jumping at the evil look Gaara gave him.
“Deidara, I over re-acted…Sasuke was in bed with a friend of mine, and I thought something had happened when it didn’t. I apologize to you. Before you ask, my friend is in the bathroom getting ready for a shower so no you cannot meet them.” Neji spoke quickly, watching the blonde calm slightly. However, he knew they were all not off the hook yet. Once Deidara saw Naruto all hell would break loose.
“Fine…but you better tell me what was with the crying,” was the simple reply. Neji sighed explaining that they had just scared his friend then upset them. Nothing to worry about. Deidara was not convinced, but he left them to their own devices. Both Sasuke and Neji knew that Deidara would realize the little blonde had been bullied. Then not only hell would break loose, but they would soon go through the seven hells(1).

When they had finally gotten down the stairs, Naruto was behind them hidden. Deidara narrowed his eyes at them, waiting for them all to move. Naruto clutching the back of Sasuke’s shirt, face buried into his back. This caused Sasuke to be stiff, and on guard. Neji was gripping Gaara’s hand, as Shino happily petted Kiba’s hair. It was his way of showing Kiba that it was okay, though he was surprised that Kiba leaned into it like a dog.
It was so cute! Shino loved it. Sasuke sighed gently then nodded his head, letting the others know it was okay to sit. When he didn’t move however Deidara got up from his own seat to tell him to sit down. A whimper stopped him, and Itachi just watched. Deidara moved Sasuke and gasped seeing the biggest, most innocent blue eyes he had ever see, staring at him scared. He fell to his knees hugging the other blonde to him.
“SO CUTE!!!!” Deidara yelled as he hugged Naruto to him. “Why were you hiding him…”His eyes narrow again looking to Sasuke.
“This was what all the yelling was about….What did you do!?” Before anyone knew what was going to happen, Naruto grabbed Deidara’s hands. Trying to stop him from hurting Sasuke. That was a bad move since the shirt he was wearing shifted to reveal bruises on his arms, and the few on his shoulder and collar bone. Seeing these Deidara froze, even Itachi stared a bit wide eyed.
Sasuke moves and gets in front of Naruto to block the view. “Can we please just sit and eat breakfast. We have a lot to do today…”
Silently Deidara sits down, then stares at Sasuke. That’s when he realizes the little blonde was wearing Sasuke’s clothes. A shirt that was a bit big on him, and the pants looked a little big hanging on his hips. “It’s okay Naruto…He is not going to hurt you.”
The way Sasuke spoke to the little blonde was heart warming. He hadn’t heard Sasuke speak like that in years.
“Yes Naru-chan come, join us at the table. I’m Deidara…But you may call me Dei-Dei-chan. I hope we will be really good friends.” Deidara gave a gentle smile to him. “Or you can call me Dei-Dei…Or just Dei-chan works.” Naruto smile to him lightly, still a bit nervous.
Slowly Naruto moves and sits by Neji looking nervous. Sasuke sits by Naruto hoping to get this over with. First it was this morning with Neji about to kill him, now Deidara was staring at him wanting information. If he asks Naruto anything, the sweet little blonde might spill about what’s going on at school. Dei-chan will be so pissed if he finds out! I am one dead person.
“So Naru-chan…” Before Deidara could finish, Sasuke threw a sausage at him. When everyone looked at him, he gave them all a What? look. It was rather funny.
Neji smiled a bit, “Naruto is my friend from school…I’m dating his best friend, Gaara…The red head by me. Sasuke just now began to talk to Naruto after our groups have been separate for about two years now.”
Deidara nods lightly, wanting to ask about the bruises. However, from the look Naruto had when he realized they were showing, and how Sasuke hid him from sight. He knew something was wrong. Was someone bullying little Naru-chan? Taking a bite of his eggs, he decided he was going to find out.

Breakfast had been torturous. Deidara kept giving them looks, especially when Naruto would do something extra cute. Like asking if he could have more, when there was a ton left, and everyone else was just taking what they wanted. Sasuke could see that Deidara wanted to pounce Naruto, and just cuddle him. He could feel himself being affected by the blonde boy.
Slowly but surely he was beginning to see just what made others change. ‘He is a light in the darkness…Guiding you when you are lost. He does it with out even knowing it!’ He was knocked from his musings when Naruto grabbed onto his arm.
Blinking he looked to his older brother who was staring at them intently. “We are going out…I promised Naruto and the others I’d go to the movies with them, but before that I was going to take Naruto the art store…”
Thankfully they were able to get out of there with out any questions. However, Sasuke knew he was dead when he got back. He would grilled for answers, and he knew he could not lie to them. When they find out everything, he was dead. A dead person I tell you!! He nearly bolted when they got outside. Would of too, if Naruto hadn’t still been holding onto his arm.
He had let go once they were outside, and away from the eyes of the older boys. Neji had gotten to his side, and was rubbing back soothingly. The entire thing had scared Naruto. Sasuke didn’t know what to say to try and ease his fear. Neji was speaking softly to him though, making him giggle.
“I-Itachi-san would really…te-tell me stories if I asked?” That made Sasuke freeze as Neji told him yes.
If Itachi learned of what was going on, he’d want Naruto to come over more often. Then he’d get close to the cute little blonde, and tell him all kinds of embarrassing stories! Shit!!! This was not good. Then again it was better then Itachi scaring him. Yeah, Sasuke could handle that. Neji knew a lot of the stories, and he was sure Naruto wouldn’t tell if he heard them.

As they all sat in Neji‘s car, Naruto was happily talking with Kiba. Shino had been watching the dog boy the entire ride. Sasuke was staring out the window thinking. At some point in the ride Naruto had leaned onto him, smiling gently. Shino had taken Kiba’s hand and not let go, all the while the little ukes talked.
Once they arrived, they all got out stretching a bit. Naruto looked like he really didn’t want to be here. Before Sasuke had a chance to even ask, he saw a glimpse of red, pink, and blonde. He also saw a few other colors of hair, but ignored them. Nervously he reached out, then took Naruto’s hand reassuringly. This did not go unnoticed by all the other boys, as Naruto blushed brightly.
Sasuke kept a good hold, tight but not enough to hurt him, as they walked into the mall. From what he could tell, Naruto lived in a place that didn’t seem too good. That is if the way Neji was acting when Sasuke offered to get him something nice, like a book or movie. He didn’t want to get anything serious expensive yet. Something just told him, to wait on that as his heart pounded each time Naruto would smile at him.
Sasuke ended up carrying a few bags, mainly clothes since Naruto really needed clothes. Most of the kids at school ruined all his other clothes with pranks, and beatings. They were all headed to the food court to eat. That’s when they heard a horrible voice, it was Karin.
“I’m telling you Sasuke belongs to me. And me only!” She screeched at two other girls who were sitting calmly at a table. One had light pink hair, while the other had soft blonde hair. They look to her a bit annoyed. “You whores just don’t seem to realize it. Just because he fucked you both at least once, does not mean he is yours!”
“Karin, we may be whores, but at least we don’t throw fuckin’ dodge balls at heavily pregnant girls in gym class! All she was doing was standing by the damn bleachers cheering on her friends! You had no right to throw that damn ball, and you had no right to cal her a whore! We all know what really happened to her!” Spoke the pink haired girl looking pissed off.
Karin glares at her, “That bitch had it fuckin’ comin’! She had no right to stand there and look all sweet and innocent. All she was a bitch and a whore who didn’t make her man wear a damn condom!” The blonde stood up and smacked her, hard.
“You will not speak of my cousin that way! Come on Sakura I lost my appetite.” With that she, and the one called Sakura get up to walk away. They hear a huff, then Karin stomping off. Smiling lightly they link arms prepared to walk off for shopping or something.
“Hey Ino, look! Sasuke-kun is here…and he has that nerd with him.” The two girls rush over, and smile batting their eyes. That’s when the one called Ino squeals suddenly. Sakura looks at her, and that’s when she really looks at the blonde, making her squeal. He was adorable, his glasses had slipped down his nose, Sasuke’s shirt had shifted a bit to show off a bit of his shoulders. They wanted to dress him up, and make him cuter!
Sasuke ends up snapping at them for scaring Naruto. He was not used to girls squealing over him, and wanting to dress him up. Blushing only made them find him even more adorable. They had never really bullied, just called him weak, and ugly. That was only because he never fought back, and they never really looked at him.
‘Great….Just when I thought the day could not get any worse then the hell it already was. Those two just have to join us. They are annoying. Why can’t they just leave us alone…All I really want is to find a way to be alone with Naruto so that I can get to know him. Not an easy task with Neji and Subaku around…Now these two idiot girls!?’ Sasuke sighed as he shakes his head to clear his thoughts. This day was just hell, and he hoped it did not get worse. Though he knew it could and would get worse.

By the time they had gotten to the movies, Neji’s car had a lot of bags in it with different things. Naruto had gotten a few new clothes, and some books. He was blushing brightly as he walked with Sasuke. He and Neji were the main once to buy him things. It was all to make him smile. Plus, Naruto really needed new clothes, and he had wanted those books to read for his collection.
Naruto was looking at the movies, wondering what to see. All the other boys had decided, but Naruto really didn’t want to go watch a scary movie. They gave him nightmares. Neji had offered to pay for him to go see a cartoon movie, but he declined.
When he wasn’t paying attention, or any of the boys were for that matter, Sasuke bought two tickets to see a family friendly movie. Grabbing Naruto’s hand he leads him keeping him quiet with a promise of candy.
Shino had grabbed Kiba’s hand smiling behind his high collar. He liked seeing Kiba’s blushing face. It made him adorable! Gaara was waiting with Neji for the others. Neji began to freak a little, not seeing Sasuke or Naruto.
Gaara grabbed him to keep him from running. Though Gaara was a bit annoyed too. It was Kiba who got them to get into the theater before the movie started. Sasuke had taken Naruto to see a movie that made him laugh.
Naruto’s laugh was loud but sweet, and made Sasuke’s heart skip a beat. He ignored it all, but he didn’t ignore his smile. His smile was that made Naruto, Naruto. He didn’t want Naruto to change. Sasuke was beginning to see Naruto for who he was. An angel that was like a light to guide people.
He had faith that Naruto would become someone that could help people. Sasuke had figured it out after Naruto spoke to a little girl who had been crying because she couldn’t find her mommy. Plus there was the fact of his friends that were all different from when they first met Naruto.
He was grateful that Naruto was different from the others he had ever had sex with. They would of thought his was a date when it wasn’t. To him, this was not a date. If it was, he would of asked Naruto out to the movies.
Instead he just bought the tickets and led Naruto away from the others. To a date was special, he knew after this Neji would be hoppin’ mad with him, since this would just add on to this morning. He was a dead person once he was alone with Neji.
The movie ended too soon for both boys. Naruto was blushing lightly, as he had wanted this to be a date, but knew it wasn’t. He may of seemed dumb, but he was rather smart. The air around Sasuke told him this was not a date. Naruto could respect that, because if it had been, Neji and the others wouldn’t be here. Not that he wouldn’t like a group date. It was just, he really wanted to have a special first date with Sasuke, if he ever got one.

They at first dropped Naruto off, whom got embarrassed that Shino and Sasuke got to see where he lived. A slightly run down apartment complex, in a somewhat nice area. Then they dropped Shino and Kiba off at Kiba’s home. All because Kiba had promised the bug boy that he could meet his family. Kiba was seriously dreading this. Finally it was Sasuke’s turn.
Sasuke was freaking out at what Neji and Gaara were going to do to him now that they were all alone. He knew Neji wanted to get back at him for this morning because he hadn’t even called Neji to tell him. Plus the movie thing, which Sasuke just did so that he could see Naruto smile. He didn’t want Naruto getting nightmares. Sunshine, that’s what Sasuke decided to secretly call Naruto, was too cute to be having nightmares.
Suddenly he found himself stripped naked, then thrown into a large fountain of freezing water. You did not make Neji Hyuga mad and expect to get away with it. You paid big time one way or another. His favorite way was to embarrass you. Sasuke slowly looked around grateful no people were around right now. However when he really looked, all his clothes were in the trees, with sand on them.
Great, now he was going to have to collect his clothes while naked! Moving as fast as he could, and hiding when people came around, he gathered his clothes. Slipping them on, in a hurry then running all the way to his house.
No doubt in his mind Neji had recorded the whole thing for later use. If Sasuke did something else Neji didn’t like, he would use that against Sasuke to make do anything he wanted. Usually it was a one time thing then all evidence was destroyed.
By the time he got home, Itachi and Deidara were waiting on him to have dinner so they could all talk. ‘Fuck this damn day to hell.’ Was all he thought before sitting down to be grilled.

Shiona: I hope you liked this chapter, because I had fun writing it! I might write up a special chapter of Shino and Kiba going on an official first date, or Shino meeting Kiba’s family! I know that I next chapter will show Sasuke and Naruto’s official first date! Excited?
This story is like an Ugly Duckling thing. I always found the Ugly Duckling to be cute. To the bullies Naruto is ugly, yet when you get to know him you see how cute he is.
He will leave everyone thinking he is ugly, but come back smokin’ hot. I bet you cannot wait to meet the twins! I promise you it will be soon. I just really wanna get a bit of background in there, before the main part starts. I really hope you understand.
