Sasuke sat in his car and just stared at his house. He was dreading going inside and he had been out in the car for about ten minutes since he parked. His father was pissed... He had gotten a phone message while he was driving saying as much.

Taking a deep breath, Sasuke let it out slowly and got out of his car. He’d have to get it over with sooner or later. And the sooner he did get through it, the sooner he’d get to see Naruto again.

Walking in through the back door, he made his way up the large staircase to his father’s home office, knocking on the door firmly.

“Come in, Sasuke,” came a cold voice.

Fugaku sat behind the wide expanse of his desk, poised and stoic as always. Anger was nowhere to be found in his expression, but his eyes spoke of something far worse. The dark, dark orbs, normally emotionless, were flooded with disappointment.

“I thought better of you, Sasuke. I’d hoped you would want to do this to bring honor to your family; to strengthen our public image and our business.” He held up his hand to keep Sasuke from speaking. “I won’t pretend to know where you were last night, though I have a good idea, and I want you to put a stop to it. Now. If I receive another call from Sakura like that…” The man’s eyes hardened as they met his son’s. “You should take a lesson from your brother. He would have followed my word without question.”

Sasuke’s eyes were equally as cold. He loathed when his father compared him to Itachi. It pissed him off more than anything else. “He already has... And what, may I ask is your brilliant idea of what I was doing last night? Do you have people following me now?”

“Don’t speak to me that way.” Fugaku’s voice was absolutely frigid, his eyes boring into Sasuke’s. “You may think I don’t pay attention to you, but I do. More than you realize. Tell me, Sasuke, any time you’ve ever stayed out for the night, where have you been? You have no friend’s to use as an excuse. It doesn’t take a genius to realize you were with a woman.”

Standing, the eldest Uchiha turned towards the window that lay behind his desk, looking out over the expanse of the backyard. “I hope you realize what I have at stake here. I am not going to let some little whore ruin a million dollar deal. I will not have anyone following you, but you should know that Sakura has already hired someone and I will be getting reports. I suggest you straighten up and act like an Uchiha should. You will be marrying her whether you like it or not.”

“I’m sure you’re aware it’s illegal to force a grown adult to marry against their will, no matter how much of your money you have riding on it.” Sasuke was practically vibrating with rage, he was on the verge of leaving right then and there. But he had to hold out, at least until he heard back from Naruto. If Naruto’s father couldn’t do anything, Sasuke was leaving, no matter what. Either way, he would get to be with Naruto.

“Are you prepared to have nothing?” Fugaku asked. “All your life, you’ve had everything handed to you on a silver platter. How will you live, with not even a roof over your head, and no money to support yourself? Do you really think you can make it on your own? Have you thought it through? Sasuke Uchiha, working in some gas station, living in some rundown apartment in the slums, all for the sake of having your own way? I-”

The phone sitting on the corner of his desk rang loudly and he motioned for Sasuke to remain where he was. He wasn’t finished.

“Yes?” he answered, sitting in his desk once more. The barest hint of a frown marred his face. “Minato Namikaze would like to meet with me? Regarding what?” He paused as the woman on the other end, Mr. Namikaze’s secretary, spoke. “One o’clock, then.” He hung up without another word, and dismissed Sasuke.

“Perhaps you should think this through again. I don’t think you’ve realized how much it would hurt your mother if we were forced to disown you…”

Sasuke tried so hard not to smile as the name ‘Minato Namikaze’ escaped his father’s lips. Looked like Naruto convinced his father to at least talk to his father. His spirits lifted instantly and he bowed in respect.

A few customers exited the bar then, standing nearby in order to have a cigarette. Naruto, or rather, Naruko smiled at them, knowing he had to straighten up a bit and act a little more proper. It was easy to just let himself go when he was talking to Sasuke.

Worrying his bottom lip, he flicked the ashes from the end of his cigarette. “Are you still coming to see me tonight?”

Sasuke put his phone on speaker as he finished up his hair, he had put a bit of blue dye in it, just a few streaks, not worrying about his father noticing, it wasn’t permanent by any means. “Of course I am, although I’m not sure if you’ll recognize me, I’m trying out a new look for you.” His hair was usually a bit spiked in the back but that night he went all out with it, still making it look neat, yet in total disarray at the same time. Taking up his cigarette again, he took a drag and offered one to Naruto.

“You probably shouldn’t be offering your coat to random women,” Naruto pouted out, though he didn’t take it off. He slid his arms through the sleeves and sighed. It smelled like Sasuke and it felt so… coupley, to be wearing something of his.

“But thank you…” His cheeks flushed, though it was barely visible in the dark. He declined a cigarette and instead stared out at the emptying parking lot, watching leaves swirl in the wind that had picked up. He felt… weird. This whole situation felt so romantic and his stomach fluttered as he hugged the coat tight around him.

Sasuke wanted so badly to take Naruto in his arms and just hold him close as they shared the moment together. It was so hard to resist but he managed. “I can’t wait until we’re alone... I want to just hold you so bad...”

Naruto’s gaze slowly lifted until he met Sasuke’s. It was at that moment that he realized he was most definitely falling for the raven, if he hadn’t already. It was almost like a storybook romance. He just hoped it wasn’t good to be true.

“I’ll be right back… C’mon, Akamaru…” Heading for the door, he slipped back in. He was gone for around ten minutes, but he did return, sans dress. He stepped back outside wearing a pair of jeans and a heavy sweatshirt, his wig and makeup nowhere to be seen. “Kiba’s gonna close for me. I gave him the keys and everything.”

Sasuke didn’t really know what to say at first. Naruto was just too wonderful. He was going through so much just for him. Even though the blond had already said that it was nothing, Sasuke still felt like he wasn’t doing enough in return, but that was definitely going to change.

“You know... I think I like this look just as much as your gorgeous dresses and long hair...” Smiling, he put out his smoke and took his coat back heading toward their cars. “So, I’ll follow you then.” his voice was normal pitch now whereas before he had been talking quietly just in case the ‘spies’ had recording equipment or something equally as stupid. He wouldn’t even dare put it passed his fiance.

Naruto smiled as well, slipping his hands into the large pocket in the front of his sweatshirt. “Yeah, but hey… I’m gonna order a pizza or something on the way. I’m starving, especially after all that exercise…” He snickered as he hit the button on his keychain to unlock his car. “You like anything special on it? I usually get everything…”

“Everything’s fine... I’m starving too, I forgot to eat before I left.” Unlocking his car he exchanged an intimate look with the blond before getting in and waiting for Naruto start up his car before following him out of the parking lot, excitement tingling through his whole body at the thought of being alone with the other man again.
