Chapter 5 - Captured and Arriving!

Naruto stared at the gates in front of him. He was so excited about finally getting to go beyond them and explore, but he was also nervous. What if it was more dangerous out there? What if Zabuza and the others couldn’t protect him very well out there? What if they got attacked and Sasuke got hurt again because of him. Iruka frowned as he watched Naruto drop his head and let his bangs cover his eyes. He quickly smiled and was about to ask Naruto what was wrong when Naruto quickly turned around looking behind them. Iruka turned around to see what caught Naruto’s interest and frowned when he saw Sasuke and the others walking toward them. He looked at Naruto from the corner of his eye and sighed when he noticed the young blonde looked feverish and even more nervous than earlier.

Naruto looked questioningly over at Iruka when he heard the brown haired man sigh. “What’s wrong Iruka-sensei?” Iruka smiled and shook his head.

“Nothing is wrong. I’m just a little tired that’s all.” Naruto’s eye’s widened as he stared at his teacher. Iruka tilted his head in question. “Naruto wha- ” Iruka’s question was cut off when he felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist from behind and someone’s chin on his shoulder. He blushed as he turned his head slightly to see who it was. His entire face turned red when he saw Kakashi. Kakashi smiled as his one visible eye stared at the blushing teacher.

“What’s wrong Iruka-chan? You look a little flushed.” Iruka quickly gained his composure when he heard the teasing in the silver-haired man’s voice and started to struggle to get out of the man’s embrace.

“Nothing’s wrong, now let go of me.” Kakashi tightened his arms around the brown-haired man’s waist.

“I don’t feel like letting go yet. Besides, I have a question for you.” Iruka sighed as he stopped his struggling. He looked at the smiling pervert forlornly.

“Will you let me go after I answer this question of yours?” Kakashi thought about it for a moment then nodded his head happily. “Fine, ask your question Kakashi-san.” Kakashi smiled and brought his mouth up to Iruka’s ear.

“I was wondering if you would live with me when we get to Konoha?” Iruka shivered as he felt Kakashi’s hot breath on his ear.

“I will be living with Naruto, so that I can protect him.” Kakashi looked over at Naruto and noticed the blonde was still staring at them wide eyed. He inwardly laughed at the boy. Naruto noticed that he had just got brought in to the argument, quickly snapped out of his trance of shock and confusion.

“Iruka-sensei you can stay with Kakashi if you want. I can stay with someone else.” Iruka glared at Naruto as Kakashi smiled happily. Sasuke looked at the two older males as he finally reached his destination and rolled his eyes.

“Kakashi let the poor man go.” Kakashi pouted as he released Iruka.

“You always ruin my fun Sasuke.” Iruka was relieved that Sasuke and the others had finally made it to them, but then he noticed Naruto looked as if he was about to pass out. Tsunade also noticed and walked over to the blonde.

“Naruto are you alright?” Everyone turned their attention to the flushed blonde. Naruto nodded his head as he felt everyone’s gaze upon him.

“I’m fine! I’m just so excited about getting to see beyond these gates, but I am also a little scared about it.” Sasuke smirked at the blonde.

“Scaredy-cat, ” Naruto glared at the raven-haired teen.

“I’m not a scaredy-cat!” Tsunade watched in amusement as Naruto’s mood quickly changed because of the Uchiha’s taunt. “Let’s go damn it. I’m tired of standing around here!” Everyone silently agreed with the blonde teen. Tsunade looked over at Jiraiya, waiting for him to get the clue. Jiraiya nodded and looked up at the guards standing atop the wall.

“HEY! OPEN THE GATES!” The guards slowly started to open the gates at Jiraiya’s request. Naruto held his bags nervously as the gates began to slowly open. His eyes widened at the scenery before him. Tsunade, Iruka, Kakashi, Haku, Zabuza, and Jiraiya smiled at the blonde happily. Haku walked up and placed a hand on Naruto’s shoulder.

“Lets get going. There’s more to see than this.” Naruto nodded as Haku and the others began to walk out the gates. Naruto gripped his three bags in his hands and walked over to Jiraiya.

“Hey Ero-Sennin! Carry this bag for me and keep it safe!” Jiraiya nodded and let the little nickname pass. But only just this once. After all, if he smacked the blonde while Tsunade was around, he wouldn’t be getting any for a week. So he could control his anger for now. Naruto walked over to Zabuza and Haku. Haku smiled and took Naruto’s two remaining bags from him. He looked over at Zabuza with smile on his face. Zabuza rolled his eyes and took the bags from Haku. He was a sucker for Haku’s smile. That’s why he was carrying not only his own bags, but also Haku’s and now Naruto’s. He sighed as Haku latched onto his arm.

Mikoto knocked softly on her son's door. She was worried about him. The Hokage had sent a message earlier saying that Sasuke had been injured and when Itachi found out he quickly went to his room. Her husband, Fugaku, had asked her to check on him. So here she was waiting outside his bedroom door. She knocked again before slowly opening the door. She frowned when she saw the mess in his room. Clothes were scattered all over the room. There were clothes hanging off his desk, chair, all over the floor, the bed was covered, and a pair of boxers hanging from the ceiling light. She looked around and noticed the room was empty and the window was open. She sighed as she walked over to close the window. “Always using the windows to leave instead of the doors.”

After Mikoto closed the window she saw a note on his bed and picked it up. She read the note over and put it in the pocket on her apron as she mumbled in a sarcastic tone. “Can’t even give your mother a goodbye kiss.” She looked around the room once more and sighed in defeat as she started to pick up the scattered clothes. “Well looks like he still needs me for something. I guess I should go to Sasuke’s room next in case he decides to stay here when he gets back too.”

Jiraiya laughed as Naruto skipped around excitedly, exploring everything he could. Sasuke had a small smile on his face as he watched Naruto stare at a turtle on the trail. Naruto stared unblinking at the turtle for a few minutes before he picked it up and ran over to Sakura and shoved it in her face. Sakura looked at the turtle and then at the blonde curiously. “Naruto, what are you doing?” Naruto blinked at the pink haired girl as he retracted the turtle from her face.

“I just wanted you to see it.” Sakura smiled and ruffled the blonde’s hair affectionately.

“He’s a cute turtle, but I think he would prefer to be put back on the ground.” Naruto smiled happily as he nodded and went to put the turtle back where he found him. Iruka smiled happily at Naruto’s child like innocence, but yelped when Kakashi grabbed his ass. Everyone looked over when Iruka yelped and laughed as Iruka slapped Kakashi. Naruto looked over when he heard Iruka and started laughing when a blushing Iruka slapped Kakashi in the face. Sasuke smiled as he watched the blonde laugh, but his smile quickly disappeared as a blonde haired man in a cloak with white outlined red clouds on it appeared behind the blonde.

Naruto stopped laughing when he noticed a shadow fell over him and looked behind him. His eyes widened and he tried to get away, but was quickly grabbed by the man. “Sorry brat, but your not going anywhere, yeah!” Everyone stared in horror as the man picked up Naruto. The blonde haired man smiled at them as he jumped away. Naruto screamed for Sasuke and reached out desperately to him when the man jumped. Sasuke came out of his shock when he heard Naruto scream and quickly pursued them, followed by Jiraiya, Zabuza, and Haku. The others were cut off by the quick appearance of another cloaked man.

Iruka tried to run after Naruto but was pulled back by Kakashi when another man appeared. The man before them attacked using a scorpion like tail, which was easily dodged. Sakura ran towards the man as Sai made ink tigers to help. Neji activated his Byakugan as Shikamaru grabbed a kunai with an exploding tag attached to it. Kakashi started to raise his headband to reveal his Sharingan eye but stopped and braced himself like everyone else when the ground suddenly split open and the cloaked man jumped out of the way.

Tsunade blew some of her blonde hair out her face and everyone stared at her wide eyed when they noticed it was her that had caused the tremor. The man attacked her with his tail. Tsunade caught his tail and swung him into the trees. The trees broke when they were hit as the man flew into them. Tsunade glanced at the others. “Go help get Naruto back.” They all nodded and were about to leave when they were surrounded by ninja’s. Tsunade huffed in anger and stomped her foot causing the ground split open as the others attacked the surrounding ninjas.

Sasuke, Zabuza, Haku, and Jiraiya continued chasing the man that had Naruto, but got surrounded by foreign ninja’s and had to separate. Zabuza, Haku, and Jiraiya stayed behind to fight them off while Sasuke continued after Naruto. He caught sight of the blonde man running through the trees ahead of him and grabbed a shuriken from his hip pouch and attached some trap wire to it. He threw the shuriken and carefully wrapped it around the man’s ankle as he pulled back on the trap wire causing the man to release his hold on Naruto as they both fell from the trees towards the ground. Sasuke let go of the trap wire and hurried to catch Naruto before he hit the ground.

Naruto felt himself falling when his blonde captor let him go and closed his eyes as he saw the ground coming closer. He felt himself get grabbed and held in a bridal style way and opened his eyes to see Sasuke. He smiled up at him and nuzzled his face into the others chest. Naruto felt a wave of pleasure rush through his body as he inhaled Sasuke’s scent. Sasuke blushed as they landed and quickly put the blonde down and stood in front of him protectively. Naruto grabbed hold of the back of Sasuke’s shirt and buried his face in it. He didn’t want to constrict Sasuke’s movements, but he was scared and didn’t want anything to happen to the other. Sasuke swatted at Naruto, successfully getting the blonde to release him. The cloaked male shakily stood up and glared at them.

“What the hell, yeah!” He reached inside his cloak, and Sasuke quickly grabbed a kunai and lifted it in front of him. The man started to retract his hand when he suddenly stopped. He sighed and moved his hand back in to put what ever he was grabbing back then retracted his hand. “Ah, no fun. Someone has come to ruin my fun. But don’t worry, I will be back for you Kyuubi brat, yeah!” Sasuke watched as the man jumped away, but he didn’t lower his guard. He had felt it too. The feeling of multiple charkas signatures surrounding him and Naruto.

Naruto was tittering on the edge of consciousness. He couldn’t help it, all day he had been plagued with heat and pain. He finally had a bit of relief from it a minute ago when Sasuke held him and when he was gripping onto Sasuke, but now it was too much. He couldn’t figure it out. He knew it had something to do with raven-haired teen in front of him, but he didn’t quite know what. He blinked his eyes to try to get rid of the darkness invading his vision, but it failed. Quickly the darkness invaded his sight and he fell backwards.

Sasuke turned to look at Naruto when he heard the other fall. He moved over to the blonde’s side and checked his pulse. Naruto groaned when Sasuke put his fingers on the tan neck. Sasuke frowned and stood over the blonde protectively. He needed to get Naruto to Tsunade, but he couldn’t with them being surrounded by who knows what. The only thing he could do right now was protect him until the others arrived. Sasuke activated his Sharingan and waited. A movement from behind caught his attention and he quickly turned around. His grip tightened on the kunai as a sickly pale man with long black hair and gold eyes stood there staring at him. The man raised his hand and a group of ten ninja’s came out of their hiding spots to surround him. The pale man smiled and spoke with what Sasuke guessed was a hiss.

“You must be Uchiha Sasuke.” Sasuke just stared hard at the man, keeping his guard up just in case. “I’m one of the three legendary sennin. My name is Orochimaru.” The snake like man took a step forward as they began to circle around Sasuke and Naruto, leaving a good twenty feet between them while the ninjas were at least thirty-five feet away all the way around. “I would like to train you and have you help with my plans.” Sasuke eyed the man, the thought of being trained by one of the legendary sennin was tempting, but he had heard rumors about the snake sennin and didn’t know if he should trust him or not.

“What plans?” Orochimaru smirked and licked his lips.

“I plan to destroy Konoha and maybe a few other places after, but right Konoha is the one I want to destroy. In return for your help I will teach you everything I know, but first I have a gift for you.” The tomoe’s in Sasuke’s eyes began to spin as he narrowed them at the snake man that was approaching him.

“I don’t want anything from you. I refuse your offer. Now leave or I will be forced to kill you.” Orochimaru laughed as he approached the young Uchiha.

“You can’t kill me. Your not strong enough to.” Sasuke grabbed some shuriken and threw them at the snake man’s head. His eyes widened as the man’s neck stretched out to avoid the shuriken and the snake man’s head came towards him quickly with its mouth open. He was too shocked to move as the man’s head came close. He waited for the inevitable bite into the flesh of his neck, but none came. He looked over from the corner of his eye and noticed the sheath of a katana was in the snake mans jaws, he moved his gaze to follow up the hand that held the sheath. His eyes widened at whom he saw.

“Aniki!” Orochimaru quickly released the sheath from his mouth and retracted his head. He scowled as he realized that if he tried again he would lose his head next time. Sasuke stared at his brother as he put his katana back on his back.

“What’s wrong little brother? Are you that surprised to see me?” Sasuke smirked and turned to look back at the snake sennin.

“No. I’m just surprised you would use your katana’s sheath like that.” Itachi slightly laughed and looked down at the blonde. The tan teen looked familiar, but he knew he’d never seen him before. He stared at the blonde for a few seconds longer before gently nudging him with his foot.

“Who’s this?” Sasuke glanced down at Naruto worriedly, but quickly covered it up as he looked back at Orochimaru with an expressionless face.

“He’s the idiot we’re supposed to protect.” Itachi noticed his little brothers worried look even though he tried to cover it up. He frowned and looked over to Orochimaru, who looked extremely pissed off about the fact that he was ignored.

“We are going to have a talk later little brother, but right now we have to get rid of a snake.” Sasuke nodded his head and got into his fighting stance, but he was a little confused as to why his brother wanted to talk to him. Orochimaru smirked as he watched the brothers take their stances.

“The offer remains on the table Sasuke-kun. I don’t have time to fight with you today unfortunately.” Itachi and Sasuke watched as Orochimaru raised his hand and him and his ninjas disappeared, leaving gray smoke behind. The Uchiha brothers straightened out of their fighting stances. Sasuke turned around avoiding his brother's gaze as he knelt down to pick Naruto up bridal style. Itachi raised an eyebrow as he watched his little brother handle the blonde boy as if he were fragile. Sasuke saw his brothers raised eyebrow and raised one of his own in a silent question of ‘what’ to his brother. Itachi shook his head when he noticed Sasuke’s raised eyebrow.

“Nothing.” Sasuke shrugged and took off in the trees toward the others with Itachi following behind him.

Naruto was standing in front of a large pair of gates. He could see Kyuubi sleeping behind the gates and began to push the gates open. After he had the gates open he began to walk toward Kyuubi, but something wasn't right. There was a strange red aura radiating off the fox. Naruto walked cautiously up to the fox and began tapping her nose. "Hey Kyuubi! Kyuubi! Hey wake up!" The fox's nose started twitching as Naruto continued tapping it. The blonde quickly stopped then withdrew his hand when he saw the foxes tongue come out and swipe over her nose.

Naruto laughed as he realized that he was tickling her nose and then continued to tap her nose repeatedly and laugh as she swiped her tongue over it. After a while the blonde realized that he wasn't going to get her awake by tickling her, but maybe yelling would work. The blue-eyed teen walked over to the fox's ear and took a deep breath as he cupped his hands around his mouth. "KYUUBI WAKE UP!" Kyuubi's eyes shot open. She turned to look at the idiot who screamed in her ear and saw a grinning blonde. The fox rolled her eyes and sighed.

"What do you want?" Naruto looked at the red fox for a minute before he shrugged his shoulders.

"I just fainted and came here. So I decided to wake you up." Kyuubi snorted and stood up. She began to stretch out as the blonde stared at her. He brought his right hand up to rub at his chin as if he was in deep thought. "I was feeling all weird again when it happened." Kyuubi looked over at Naruto for a minute. She looked him up and down before she continued stretching. "I've noticed I always feel like this around Sasuke." Kyuubi was finally done stretching and laid down. "He makes me feel so weird. I don't understand it. I feel drawn to him in a way. It's like...I don't know, but I had a weird dream about him." Kyuubi looked over at the blonde as he turned away from her with a blush on his cheeks. "He was doing weird stuff to me, but it felt really good. I don't know why but it felt right." Kyuubi turned away and laid her head down as Naruto sat down and leaned against her. "Thank you for listening Kyuubi." The fox turned to look at the blonde as he started to doze off.

"Your welcome kit." Kyuubi felt sad for the boy. He was so naive and innocent. He was falling in love with another boy and didn't even know it. She sighed as she brought her tails over to cover the blonde protectively. She laid her head down as she closed her eyes. She couldn't stop her mind from wandering to her past. She remembered how all her vessels before Naruto died sad and lonely, locked up in solitude at the temple. All because she and her vessel didn't want to mate with any of the other vessels.

Every time she had to find a vessel to sleep in, she felt a little more of her heart break because she knew the same thing would happen again. She never woke up before the ceremony before, so she never got close to them, because after the ceremony she would go back to sleep, but this boy seemed to be able to come and go from here as he pleases and wake her up if he wanted. None of the others could do that.

That’s what makes this time worse then the other times, not only because she had woken up and took a liking to the boy instantly. But because this time her vessel has started to fall in love. None of the others had ever fallen in love. Probably because there was never anybody that visited from outside the temple walls. Kyuubi felt the pain and guilt in her grow more intense as she thought about everything, but then a little feeling of hope crawled in and gave some comfort.

Because maybe this time, things would be different. Maybe her kit could be with the one he loved instead having to go through all the loneliness, cause she would never allow one of the other vessels to take this boy as their own as long as he loves someone. Not only that, but she didn’t like the other demons. They’re annoying and she wouldn't be able to handle being with them for the rest of her kits life.

Kyuubi's eye's shoot open as she just realized that she thought of the boy as 'her kit'! She found it strange that the blonde teen had grown on her so quickly. Maybe that's another thing that makes him so special. Not only is he so innocent and pure, but also he seems to have something about him, something that draws others to him, that makes it so easy for him to grow on you. Kyuubi softly laughed as she closed eyes to fall asleep.

Minato was pacing back and forth in his office impatiently. He was extremely worried that something had happened. Genma opened the door to the hokage's office and frowned when he noticed Minato hadn’t even touched the papers he was supposed to be working on. He bit down on the senbon in his mouth as he cleared his throat to get Minato’s attention. Minato stopped pacing and looked over at him.

“Yes Genma, did you need something?” Genma bowed and then stared at Minato lazily.

“I was just told by Fugaku-san that his son Itachi has left the village to go make sure nothing happens to Sasuke.” Minato smiled happily as he ran over to Genma and hugged him tightly.

“That’s great! Itachi’s really strong, so I feel much better now!” Genma frowned and pried the Hokage off him.

“What are you talking about? Itachi left the village of his own accord and your ok with that?” Minato nodded his head as he turned to walk towards his desk and sat down in his chair.

“Of course I’m fine with it. Itachi-san has been through a lot lately and he doesn’t need to lose another loved one. I wouldn’t label him a missing Nin or punish him for something like that.” Genma nodded his head in understanding.

“I understand Hokage-sama.” Genma bowed and Minato waved his hand in dismissal as he started going through the stacks of paper work.

Iruka paced back and forth impatiently. Kakashi watched in mild amusement as the brown-haired teacher began to chew on his nails. “Don’t worry Iruka-chan. Sasuke is strong. He won’t let anything happen to Naruto. Besides, Itachi went to make sure their ok and he’s stronger than me.” Iruka sighed as he stopped pacing and looked over at the silver-haired man.

“Your right. But if they are not back in five minutes were going after them.” Kakashi smiled as he nodded his head. Tsunade sighed as she brought the sake bottle up to her lips. Haku looked over at her and smiled as he watched the blonde woman ignore Shizune’s ranting about how she shouldn’t be drinking at a time like this. Tsunade saw Haku smiling at her from the corner of her eye. She looked over at him and smiled.

“How about you and me go drinking when we reach Konoha?” Haku happily nodded.

“I would enjoy that Tsunade-sama.” Tsunade laughed as Shizune’s face paled.

“Tsunade-sama, is drinking all you think about? And Haku-san, why do you encourage her?” Haku shrugged his shoulders at her. Tsunade smirked at her apprentice before she glanced over at Jiraiya.

“I don’t just think about drinking. I also think about a certain pervert doing certain perverted things to me.” Shizune looked disgusted while Haku laughed. Zabuza, Jiraiya, Sakura, and Sai looked over at the three of them Tsunade winked at Jiraiya when she noticed he was looking at her. Jiraiya looked at Zabuza confusedly.

“What the hell do you think that was about?” Zabuza looked at Haku for moment before shrugging his shoulders and looking back at Jiraiya.

“I don’t have clue.” Jiraiya looked over at the three one more time before deciding he’d never figure it out. Sakura poked the white-haired man in the arm.

“Stop zoning out already old man!” Jiraiya glared at the pink-haired girl.

“I’m not old.” Sakura rolled her eyes at Jiraiya’s denial of the truth. Sai chuckled and grabbed his notebook along with a pen.

“Let’s get back to the plan making.” Sakura and Jiraiya both nodded while Zabuza just stared at him. “Does any one have any idea’s?”

Sasuke carefully dropped down from the tree limb to the road with the others on it. Itachi dropped down next to him and looked over at the group. Iruka rushed over when he saw that Sasuke was carrying an unconscious Naruto. He placed his hand on Naruto’s forehead then removed it when he noticed the blonde didn’t have fever. “What happened?” Sasuke stared down at the blonde in his arms for minute before replying.

“I don’t know. He just fainted. He’s been sweaty and sick looking all day. Maybe he just needs to rest.” Tsunade walked over and placed her hand over Naruto. Her hand glowed green as she let it roam over the blonde’s body. Her eye’s widened a fraction, but she quickly composed herself and let the green glow fade away as she brought her hand back to her side.

“He’s fine. He just needs to rest.” Itachi didn’t miss the shocked expression in the blonde woman’s eyes, but didn’t say anything. He didn’t know what was going on right now, but he’ll figure out later when he talks with his little brother. Iruka tapped Sasuke on the shoulder to get his attention.

“I’ll take Naruto from you.” Sasuke nodded and held Naruto out a little bit for Iruka. Tsunade watched closely as Iruka took Naruto from Sasuke. When Iruka had Naruto completely in his arms Sasuke shook his arms and stretched them out. Itachi lightly chuckled.

“Did he weigh that much?” Sasuke glared at his brother.

“No. He was really light, but my arms got stiff from holding him like that.” Itachi patted his little brother on the back and walked away. Sasuke frowned and followed him. Tsunade noticed Naruto was sweating and starting to look really flushed. She placed her hand back over Naruto and let it roam over him again. She frowned and let her hand drop to her side. She looked at Iruka’s worried face before turning to look in the direction that the two Uchiha’s walked.

“SASUKE GET OVER HERE!” Itachi and Sasuke both winced as they covered their ears. Itachi glared at Tsunade as he removed his hands from his ears. Sasuke frowned and walked over to the loud woman.

“What?” Tsunade raised an eyebrow at the irritation she heard in pale-teens voice, but let it slid for now.

“You are to carry Naruto until he wakes up.” Sasuke’s eyebrow twitched as he stared at the woman.

“Why me?” Tsunade smirked. She had already expected this from the Uchiha and had already come up with an excuse.

“Because when we got attacked earlier Naruto called out for you and you’ve been the one with him both times he’s got attacked, so it’s best if he stays with you. After all, he seems so fond of you.” Sasuke narrowed his eyes at her as Iruka held Naruto out for him to take. Sasuke sighed and took the blonde from Iruka’s arms. Tsunade watched as Naruto’s face relaxed, as he seemed to be relieved from his fevered state immediately when in the Uchiha’s arms.

Tsunade furrowed her brow as she tried to figure out the answer to the confusion caused by Naruto’s strange feverish states. She now had another piece to the puzzle, but it only made it more difficult. She sighed as she rubbed her temples to fight off the on coming head ache. She then turned to look at everyone. “Alright, lets get moving again. I really want to go to a bar.” Everyone nodded their heads as they grabbed their gear and started walking. Itachi raised his eyebrow when he saw Sasuke walking back over to him carrying Naruto bridal style. Sasuke huffed in anger and continued walking.

“I’ve been ordered to carry the idiot.” Itachi nodded his head in understanding and walked beside Sasuke. Itachi glanced at the blonde in his little brothers arms and almost started laughing when saw the blonde nuzzling his face into Sasuke’s chest causing his little brother to blush. Sasuke lowered his head a little in hopes that his bangs would hide the blush on his face. He told himself that he didn’t like the blonde nuzzling him, that the pink tinge on his cheeks was from anger not because he was embarrassed or because he enjoyed it. But that little voice kept saying that he enjoyed it and found it cute.

Naruto felt as if he was being held, but he didn’t mind. He felt safe and secure in the arms of the person holding him, and not only that. He wasn’t in any pain, in fact he felt extremely good. His body was tingling with excitement and pleasure, but he felt so relaxed. He didn’t know how to describe the feeling, but he knew he was content. He didn’t want the feeling to end, but suddenly he felt something nudge his side. He swatted at it as he nuzzled his face into the body that was holding him and tried to press his body closer in hopes that he would be protected from the evil thing that nudged him. But it continued to nudge him and Naruto felt himself waking.

Itachi poked Naruto in the side to try and wake him, but the blonde just nuzzled his face into Sasuke’s chest. Sasuke sighed and looked up at the sky in hopes that the dobe would wake up soon or he was just going to drop him on the ground no matter what Tsunade said. Itachi noticed his little brother’s patience was almost gone and poked the blonde harder. Naruto started to shift himself in Sasuke’s arms. Itachi almost laughed when he noticed that the blonde was trying to get closer to Sasuke, like Sasuke was there to protect him. Itachi frowned and felt a bit stupid when he realized that Sasuke was actually there to protect him. Itachi poked him hard again and was happy to see the blonde was waking.

Naruto slowly opened his eyes and stared at the chest in front of his face. He leaned his head back and his eyes widened when he saw Sasuke staring down at him. Sasuke smirked at the blonde in his arms. “It’s about time you woke up.” Naruto swallowed hard then began to look around nervously. He didn’t look far before he noticed the dark haired man standing next them staring at him.
Itachi couldn’t help staring at the blonde. He had finally realized why the teen looked so familiar now that he has seen the tan teens eyes. Naruto thought the man was kind of creepy and quickly gripped Sasuke’s shirt in his hands and buried his face in Sasuke’s chest. Sasuke raised an eyebrow as he watched the blonde’s reaction to his brother. “Naruto what are you doing?” Naruto gripped his shirt tighter and peered up at Sasuke.

“He’s staring at me and it’s creepy.” Sasuke rolled his eyes and looked over at Itachi. Itachi just shrugged his shoulders not caring if the blonde thought he was creepy. Sasuke looked back down at the blonde.

“Naruto, that’s my older brother, Uchiha Itachi.” Naruto’s eyes widened and he looked over at Itachi. Itachi frowned as Naruto looked him up and down. Naruto smiled at him then looked back up at Sasuke.

“You two look alike.” Sasuke nodded his head and watched as Naruto quickly started to look around again. He stared at the gates in front of them in confusion then looked back up at Sasuke. “Where are we?” Sasuke smirked as he looked at the gates in front of them.

“Were at Konoha.” Naruto smiled and started to squirm in Sasuke’s arms. Sasuke put the blonde down and watched as Naruto stared up at the gates before turning around and walking behind him. Naruto felt the pain and heat hit him as sweat began to trickle down his face. He watched in awe as Itachi teleported to the top of the gates and then teleported back down after he talked to the guards up there. Naruto wanted to ask how he did that but suddenly the gates opened and he forgot his question as he peered around Sasuke. He stared in awe at the village as the others began to walk in. Sasuke noticed that Naruto was still stuck in a state of awe and rolled his eyes as he grabbed the teen by the wrist and started to pull him into the village.

Naruto sighed in relief as he felt the pain and heat be replaced with the content feeling he had earlier and allowed himself to be pulled as he looked at everything they pasted in amusement. There was all kinds of strange stands that had different kinds of foods and other house hold needs. He noticed the people of the village were looking at him funny, so he smiled at them as they whispered to the each other. Sasuke noticed the stares and strange looks the villagers were directing at the blonde and started to glare at each villager. Naruto continued to smile at the villagers, but suddenly the most delicious smell flooded his senses. He closed his eyes and began sniffing the air, trying to find out where the delightful aroma was coming from.

Sasuke felt Naruto try to pull his wrist free to move away from them into the crowd, but Sasuke wasn’t going to let the blonde wonder around the village. He quickly turned around and yanked on the tan wrist. Naruto felt himself get jerked away from the direction the wonderful smell was coming and crash into a hard body. He barely had time to register it was Sasuke before the pale teen bent his knees as he slid his arms behind Naruto knees and back then quickly picked the blonde up bridal style.

Naruto was shocked and stared at the raven-haired teens face. Sasuke smirked when he saw the shocked look on the blonde’s face and quickly turned back around and walked toward the rest of the group. Naruto blushed when Sasuke smirked at him and quickly turned his head to look at the village again. He noticed that the villagers were not only whispering now, but also pointing. His face reddened even more in embarrassment and anger and he started to squirm in Sasuke’s arms. “Damn it Sasuke! Put me down now! I said put me down!” Sasuke tightened his hold on the blonde and scowled at him as he noticed the rest of the group had turned to look at them. Kakashi waved a hand in the air at them.

“Are two alright? Or are you having a lovers quarrel?” Iruka smacked Kakashi on the back of the head as he glared furiously at the silver-haired man. Kakashi rubbed the back of his head sheepishly and backed away from the angry man. Sasuke glared at his old sensei and looked down at Naruto, who had stopped squirming and looked very confused. Sasuke raised an eyebrow at the blonde.

“What’s wrong dobe?” Naruto glared at Sasuke, but then quickly looked down at the ground. Sasuke frowned and was about to ask again, but Naruto began to speak.

“What’s a lover quarrel?” Sasuke would of tripped over his own feet if he hadn’t already known that Naruto was kept out of the loop on a lot of things, but he decided not answer it. He knew that for some strange reason Naruto wasn’t told about such things and he decided he wasn’t about to do anything that could cause problems, like telling the blonde what a lover's quarrel was. Cause then he would have to tell him what lovers were and most likely he would have to tell him about sex and everything else that lovers do. And Sasuke couldn’t go around giving information about something that he only learned about and never experienced. That’s right. The great Uchiha Sasuke was a virgin, but no one else needed to know that. Sasuke frowned at the blonde.

“Ask Iruka.” Naruto puffed his cheeks out in indignation and crossed his arms over his chest. Sasuke smirked at the blue-eyed teens childishness and could only think one thing. Cute. Naruto’s cheeks deflated when he saw some of the villagers pointing at him from the corner of his eye with disgusted looks on their faces. Sasuke noticed Naruto’s quick mood change and frowned for a moment before replacing it with a blank expression. “What’s wrong now?” Naruto didn’t lift his head as he quietly spoke, but Sasuke still heard him.

“The people around here keep pointing and staring at us while their whispering to each other. And they look at me like I’m disgusting.” Sasuke looked at the villagers from the corner of his eyes and saw what Naruto was saying was true. He felt rage surge through his veins at this. Earlier he glared at them for just being rude, but now they were being harsh and unfair about their judgment on the blue-eyed teen in his arms.

Sasuke shifted Naruto around in his arms a bit so that he could hold him better and tightened his grip. Naruto felt the rage roll off Sasuke in waves and grabbed hold of the Uchiha’s shirt and buried his face in his chest as the pale teen started to shift him around a bit. Sasuke noticed Naruto hid his face and looked at the villagers. They all continued their whispering and pointing and that made him more pissed off.

Sasuke stopped walking and dropped his head down. Naruto felt Sasuke's body begin to shake and he tightened his grip in the Uchiha’s shirt. Sasuke heard the villagers continue their whispering and quickly lifted his head and looked around at all of them, giving them the Uchiha death glare with the Sharingan spinning wildly. All them instantly froze in fear and began to step back cautiously. When Sasuke was sure they were going to shut the hell up, he let his eyes fade back to black and continued his way to Hokage tower. Naruto sighed happily as he felt all the eyes stop looking. He felt safe now and he was happy about that. He looked up at Sasuke and smiled a little smile, but a grateful and happy smile as he slightly blushed.

“Thanks!” Sasuke felt all the anger leave his body when he looked down at Naruto when he heard him. He could see the appreciation and happiness in the blonde's eyes and the blonde’s smile was beautiful. He couldn’t keep himself from smiling a small smile as well.

Itachi stayed behind the others so he could watch over Sasuke. He couldn’t help but smile when he saw his little brother smile a true smile. He felt hope that his little brother had found his one and only, but he knew Sasuke would have trouble excepting it. Sasuke took the Uchiha Clan’s ways seriously. He prided himself as a true Uchiha. Itachi prayed that after they talked later that maybe his little brother would look past the old ways and be himself. Itachi knew Sasuke didn’t really know what he was feeling and was probably denying all the hints. He frowned as he thought about how hard this was going to be, but he knew their parents were accepting and would probably fall in love with Naruto immediately. Itachi sighed as he pushed his bangs out of his face and thought sarcastically. “This is going to be fun.”

Minato blinked at the group in front of him. “Where’s Naruto?” Kakashi looked around the room and noticed that Sasuke, Naruto and Itachi weren’t there. He scratched the back of his head sheepishly.

“I guess we kind of left him behind some where in village with Sasuke and Itachi.” Minato sighed and slumped down in his chair. He was happy that Naruto was with Sasuke and Itachi and not by himself. Who knows what would happen to him. Jiraiya cleared his throat and everybody looked at him. He looked back at them confusedly.

“What? I had to clear my throat.” Minato rolled his eyes at his old sensei. Jiraiya saw it and started to mumble about how young people have no respect. Sakura stared at the hokage confusedly, waiting to either be dismissed or asked to report. Finally she couldn’t take it any more.

“Hokage-same, shouldn’t we report to you now?” Minato slumped down further into his chair and grabbed a scroll out of one of his drawers and tossed it to Shikamaru.

“Nara Shikamaru and Hyuuga Neji. I want you two to accompany Rock Lee to Shukaku temple. The rest of the details are in the scroll so you may leave.” Shikamaru and Neji bowed before they left the Hokage’s office. Minato looked over at Sakura and frowned. “You don’t have to make your report till later. Cause right now I don’t want to hear it. So you can all leave until I call for you.” Sakura’s eyebrow twitched and she forced a smile on her face as she bowed and left with every one except for Jiraiya, Kakashi, and Iruka. Kakashi looked at his sensei happily. Minato raised an eyebrow in confusion. Kakashi looked over at Jiraiya, and Jiraiya nodded to him. Kakashi looked over at Iruka and winked before turning back to Minato.

“Your son’s falling in love!” Minato almost fell out of his chair at Kakashi’s statement. He looked over at Jiraiya who nodded at him. Minato looked shocked and happy all at once. He looked over at Iruka, and his expression quickly changed as he noticed the brown-haired male looked sad. Kakashi noticed this and cleared his throat. “But there’s a problem.”

Sasuke was a little irritated by the dobe right now. Said dobe decided that he didn’t want to walk up all the stairs and made Sasuke continue to carry him. Itachi laughed at him when he reached the top of the stairs with a smiling idiot that had wrapped his arms around his neck when he tried to drop the blonde so that he would have to walk on his own, but no, the dobe was persistent and so Sasuke gave in and carried the blonde in his arms all the way up the stairs. He sighed as they reached the double doors to the Hokage’s office. The two ANBU standing guard were having a hard time trying not to laugh at the annoyed Uchiha. Sasuke glared down at Naruto.

“You can walk from here dobe.” Naruto's face scrunched up as if he was thinking for a second before he smiled up at pale teen.

“Nope! You can carry me in too!” Sasuke growled at the tan teen, but smirked as he thought of an excuse.

“I can’t open the door if I’m holding you.” Naruto looked disappointed for moment, but that quickly changed when the two ANBU guards grabbed the doorknobs and opened the doors. Naruto smiled happily and thanked them while Sasuke growled at them and thought up many different ways to torture them along with the dobe. Sasuke then began to walk into the room.

Minato and the other three looked at the door when they heard it open. Minato’s eye’s almost popped out of his head at the sight of Uchiha Sasuke carrying his son bridal style into the room, and he noticed that Naruto had his arms wrapped around the younger Uchiha’s neck while happily smiling. But he couldn’t say the same for Sasuke; he looked like he was about to go on a warpath. He stared at blonde teen in the Uchiha’s arms as he choked out his son's name. “Naruto.” Naruto looked over at the blonde haired man sitting behind the desk. He blinked his eyes a few times trying to figure out if he was seeing right. Cause the man behind the desk reminded him of himself.

“Are we related?” Sasuke’s eye’s widened as he just realized where he had seen Naruto’s eyes before. He had seen them here. The Hokage had the same eyes. Sasuke couldn’t believe it took him this long to figure it out. The two looked so much alike. Well Naruto looked kind of feminine, but he still had his father's looks, Minato’s looks. Minato felt tears of joy starting swell up in his eyes as he quickly got out of his chair and walked over to Sasuke and Naruto. He cradled Naruto's head in his hands as he stared into his son’s eyes.

“I’m your father.”
