Itachi: What's your problem now?
T.W.: (pouts) The site I read the latest Naruto manga on doesn't have chapter 366 yet.
Itachi: Perhaps the chapter simply hasn't come out this week.
T.W.: (dies)
Sai: (walks in and sees dead T.W.)T.W.! Itachi what did you do to her?!
Itachi: I didn't touch her, I simply said that it was a possibility that chapter 366 hadn't been released this week.
Sai: Why didn't you just hit her in the head with a kunai?
Itachi: I was unaware you had any talent for sarcasm.
Sai: I'm just full of surprises.(turns to T.W.) Come on T.W. wake up, Sasuke, Naruto, Neji, and Gaara are naked in the corner having an orgy.
T.W.: (revives) Where's my camera?!(looks around) Hey! I don't see a SasuNaruNejiGaara orgy.
Sai: I had to bring you back to life somehow.
T.W.: That's right, Itachi said...(lower lip trembles and T.W. starts sniffling as tears well up)
Sai: (panics) Hey, don't cry! Itachi was just being his usual sadistic sexy self. I'm sure that they just haven't gotten a hold of the manga scans yet.
T.W.: (looks at Sai with wet squishy eyes) You really think so?
Sai: Yes I really think so. Now here (awkardly hands T.W. a hankie)
T.W.: (wipes eyes then blows nose loudly) Thank you Sai. Itachi you're an evil bastard.
Itachi: Consider it revenge for the mystery girl cliffhanger.
T.W.: You son of a-(growls) I hate you.
Itachi: Don't get my hopes up.
T.W.:(sniffs distainfully) Jerk. Well let's move on to the fic. A little note about the last chapter, I meant for Sai to say "For seven years after being injured in the Great Shinobi War he suffered from amnesia." instead of "For a year(etc.etc.) so keep that in mind ne?

Chapter 45 You're Who?!

Tsunade gaped at the girl, "Who are you?"
"My name is Kana, Obito-san found me abandoned in the forest near the Hidden Rock village and raised me as his ward. My parentage should be obvious."
It was obvious, long flowing black hair, golden eyes outlined in purple with elliptical pupils, sharply sculpted facial bones, and pale, though not corpse pale, skin. Physically the girl was a slightly tanner female version of Orochimaru.
Tsunade leaned back in her chair, battling the negitive emotions that were bombarding her to calmly ask, "Orochimaru is your father?"
The girl's eyes flashed golden fire and she bit off, "Sperm donor, snake-bastard was NOT a father."
Tsunade blinked in surprise at the venom in the girl's voice, "Sire then. You are Orochimaru's daughter?"
"Unfortunately, yes."
The Godaime massaged her temple, "How old are you?"
"Fourteen."
"And your mother is...?"
"Still alive as far as I'm aware of. She wasn't a willing participant in my conception. Orochimaru raped her until she concieved then placed a seal bind her lifeforce to mine as long as I was in utero. After my birth my mother had me dumped in the forest to die."
Obito took a limping step forward, "That is when I found her. She'd begun to cry, attracting the attention of the forest predators."
"So you took responsibility for her?"
"Yes. I didn't wish to bring her to Konoha until I was certain she could defend herself from those with a grudge against her sire."
Kana spoke up, "I asked him to allow me to come and petition to join Konoha's shinobi ranks."
Tsunade blew out a long breath. She was very uneasy being faced with the fact that Orochimaru had fathered a child and was unsure of how she'd be able to deal with the possibility of seeing Kana often if she became a leaf shinobi. She was worried that the girl would become like Orochimaru, though her instincts said otherwise. She sensed a core of soild loyalty in the girl before her but Tsunade didn't trust her instincts in this situation entirely. She'd never completely given up hope that Orochimaru could have been saved and she worried that she was willing to ignore a possible threat to make restitution for not saving him. 'I need someone who won't judge her because of her father but also had no love for her father to confirm my instincts. Naruto forgive me but I'm about to complicate your life.'
Tsunade met Kana's eyes evenly, "My gut says that I can trust you but I freely admit to being unwilling to trust my gut in this case."
Kana surprised the Hokage by smiling gently, "I understand. You don't trust yourself where I'm concerned because of your relationship to my sire and you're worried that my resemblence to him is more than skin deep."
The Godaime nodded, "So I'm going to have you and Obito live with someone who I know won't hold you responsible for Orochimaru's actions and whose instincts I trust completely for a month. If he find you trustworthy then I'll instate you as a Konoha genin, provided you pass the genin exam."
Kana blinked in surprise; she'd been sure that the Hokage was going to refuse her request entirely, she hadn't expected to be given a chance to prove that she wasn't a threat to Konoha. She bowed, "I'm grateful for the opportunity Hokage-sama."
"You may not feel so grateful when you meet the husband of the man who will be testing you."
"Who will be testing me?"
"Uzumaki Naruto, husband of Uchiha Sasuke."
Kana winced, she knew both Naruto and Sasuke's stories and she knew that while Naruto wouldn't hold her accountable for Orochimaru's actions, Sasuke most likely would. It was going to be a long month.
Tsunade watched Kana absorb the information and felt a pang of sympathy at the slight fear on the girl's face. But sympathy turned to admiration when the fear morphed into a determination on par with Naruto's, "I'm still grateful for the opportunity. The presence of Uchiha Sasuke will simply prepare me for what I will face from other shinobi of this village."
Tsunade nodded and sent for Naruto, Sasuke, Iruka, and Kakashi.

Naruto climbed the steps to Tsunade's office, a wriggling Hikari in his arms. Because Tsunade had summoned all the residents of the Uchiha manor there was no one to watch the babies so each of them had a baby in their arms. Naruto had a feeling that something was about to cause tension in the Uzumaki-Uchiha household.
They reached the office and Naruto pushed open the door, "Alright Baa-chan what's the big emergen-," he stoped short as he saw Kana, "cy. Oh boy."
Sasuke tensed and growled, "Who is that girl Tsunade-sama?"
Tsunade raised an eyebrow, "She's the biological daughter of Orochimaru, however, she was raised by Uchiha Obito."
Kakashi nearly bobbled the baby he held, Kaji, and managed to choke out a, "What?"
Obito limped into view, "Hello Kakashi-teme."
Kakashi's eye widened as he took in the now badly scarred features of his old teammate, "What the...how did...you're alive?"
"Obviously. As for how, that's a story for later."
Just then Sasuke demanded an explaination and as Tsunade spoke no one but Obito noticed the sudden tension and paling skin of Iruka as Kakashi continued to stare at the long missing Uchiha.
Once the explainations were over, Sasuke was railing at the Hokage, telling her that there was no chance in hell of him letting Orochimaru's spawn near his family. Tsunade was on the brink of bitch slapping the avenger when Naruto stopped him with one sentance that had everyone holding still, "Do you know how many times I heard something similar said about me Sasuke?"
The brunette turned to face Naruto as the blond continued, "She didn't chose to be born and couldn't chose her sire nor what she looks like; blaming her for Orochimaru's actions is just like blaming me for Kyuubi's. She's never hurt Konoha or us and it's wrong to act as if she has."
Only Naruto heard Kana's softly whispered thank you as Sasuke growled his acquiesce to Tsunade's command.
The blond woman nodded, "Obito will also be living in the Uchiha mansion until he finds a shinobi position and an apartment of his own. Any objections?"
Tsunade and Obito both saw Iruka's jaw tighten as the others shook their heads but neither said anything. Obito assumed that is was because of Kana. Tsunade, however, knew that Iruka had always feared that kakashi still loved Obito but the teacher had been able to ignore it because Obito was dead. Now that he was found to be alive and was back in Konoha, Iruka would have to confront Kakashi with his fears.
Tsunade dismissed them all and took out a bottle of sake, "This is going to be one hell of a stressful month."

Kana gaped at the large pink and sea green room that Naruto had shown her to. The furnishings were made of white pine and included a sleigh bed with a sea green comforter, a wardrobe, a vanity, two bedside tables and empty bookshelves. The bathroom was done in shades of blue and white. The shower and bathtub were seperate from each other. The tub was a deep clawfooted affair that had her itching to use it right then. She lightly touched the sink and fixtures then went back to the bedroom to touch the furniture to see if this was real.
Naruto watched from the doorway as she roamed the room and ran her fingers over the furniture as if she was afraid of being punished for touching anything. She turned to face him, "Why?"
The blond tilted his head in question, "Why what?"
"Why are you being so...kind to me?"
Naruto blinked then smiled, "Because I've been in your shoes Kana-kun and I know that it sucks big time," he turned to leave, "We usually have dinner around seven if you want to join us, if you don't then I'll send something up for you. Tomorrow we'll talk about this idea of Baa-chan's in detail but for now rest."
Kana watched him walk down the hall, stunned by his manner, then she dashed to the door shut it quietly and rushed to take that bath.

Itachi:Orochimaru's daughter?
T.W.: Yup.
Itachi: Where the hell did that idea come from?
T.W.: Well it came from the idea of a future fic following either one of the triplets or Mikomi. I thought it would be cool if Orochimaru had a child that was his opposite and that child would grow up to be the jonin sensei of one of the kids.
Sai: And Obito?
T.W.: Er, I can't tell you.
Sai: Why not?
T.W.:(whispers in Sai's ear) cause Itachi'd kill me.
Sai: I'm guessing you'll be wanting me to distract him sometime in the near future.
T.W.: You got it.
Itachi: (sneezes) Stop talking about me behind my back.
T.W.: What ever you say gorgeous.
Sai: (rifles through T.W.'s drawer and finds pictures) T.W. where did these pictures of me and Itachi in flagrante come from?
Itachi: Excuse me?(turns to look at pictures, narrows his eyes, and turns back to kill T.W.)
T.W.: Er, a friend sent them to me?(watches Itachi take out a kunai and runs away) I'll try and update in two weeks, for now I'm running for my life. Please review(pant pant) and let me know what you think of this latest twist. Ja ne!
Itachi: I'm going to cut off your fingers and feed them to the Inuzuka dogs!
Sai: Not before I do!
