A couple weeks passed, and Koroshi knew that she wanted to spend a day with her sons. They were growing rapidly, and she wanted to get to spend as much time with them as possible.
She dressed them up, and they went and had pictures made, the photographer begrudgingly taking the portrait for her, simply because she had a good bit of money. She still wasn’t being treated very well.
After their photo was taken, she went to buy a frame, and then they went back home, and she put it up, then took them back out. They went to the forest, and she fed them and they had a small picnic, her sons staring around and the plants and bugs.
They laughed and smiled, and even though Sesshomaru was a night person already, even he seemed to be enjoying it, despite that it was very early in the day.
Shisui was no problem, of course. He was a morning person. He rose very early in the morning. His white hair shined in the sunlight after just having been washed that morning, and his black eyes observed his surroundings curiously. He was already smart, and she chose to go ahead and see what chakra natures they had. She handed Shisui a piece of the litmus paper, and it burned and turned to ash—the fire chakra nature.
Sesshomaru was a big problem at night time. He was wide awake and slept during the day. He rose at bedtime for her. His black hair also shined brightly, his bright blue eyes taking in the trees. He seemed to really like water. She gave him a piece of the litmus paper, and it got wet—water chakra nature. That may explain why he liked water so much.
They continued their outing, and finally it ended and they had to go home. She actually managed to get Sesshomaru asleep.
