Sekito: Obviously we are since Kuro is the one writing it and we're helping.

Kuro: More or less yeah.... I mean I'm doing this re-write and a ton of YGO stuff. So, definitely glad to be back in the groove of things.

Chapter 4: Ferocious
When arriving at the Akatsuki base in Amegakure there's no telling what any of them would be met with. All they can do is brace for impact. Being led inside by Sasuke's older brother and the flamboyant blonde they are directed to the leader's office. They would be given a individualized test for each of them. It's what everyone else has done to pass in order to be given approval to stay here. If anyone failed then it would end in fatal elimination. This surely meant a gruesome demise. Being in different quarters than what they had been used to in Otogakure meant there's a little bit of readjustment. It wouldn't be a great amount. Besides, at least each pair have admitted to one another their feelings.
Right now, Sasuke had been given the option to room with Kakashi. Obviously he had jumped on the opportunity. After confessing his feelings to him there wouldn't be any point in turning back. Besides, it made more sense to board together instead of making things awkward between them. What the Uchiha hoped is that he and his brother could reconnect during this time as well. For a long time Sasuke had hated him. Until he found out the truth he thought Itachi was the villain. When he found out otherwise his perspective about his brother had changed. Sasuke learned that Itachi only wanted to protect him. It's why he was one of the two who had survived. What they don't know is that there are more than just them who didn't perish at the massacre. There is their elder after all. They will meet him shortly when the time is right. There's also a few others scattered around. Neither of them knew about this of course. Each of them think the rest have moved on to the next life.
"So, where to go from here?" Mused Sasuke, hoping that his former sensei would have an idea.
"Depends on what pace you want to go," answered Kakashi in response, turning the page of his book. "Either we can go slow or fast."
"Slow is for the weak," stated Sasuke, causing Kakashi's lips to twitch ever so slightly.
"Good answer," chuckled Kakashi before putting his book down and pulling his mask off. "You won't have the mystery anymore."
Eyes widening in shock, Sasuke took a hesitant step towards him. Raising a hand he brushed against the scarred skin with his slender fingers. Running against the rough flesh he considered how Kakashi received this. He had heard the story from Itachi a while ago. Understanding why this happened to him the Uchiha hoped that one day he could have Sakura heal him. Certainly a highly skilled medic could solve it. That way Kakashi wouldn't have to wear the mask anymore. It's something to think about to ask him later.
"Heh, I'll enjoy getting lost on the path of life with you."

Meanwhile, in another room adjacent to the one where the two artists stay, is where Naruto and Orochimaru are rooming. The blonde had thrown up in the toilet. No idea as to why it happened. It just did. Wiping his mouth with a piece of toilet paper he steadied himself. Hearing his partner slither up behind him the blonde hoped he hadn't noticed. It would embarrass him being seen in such a position like this.
"Are you ok?" Asked the Sanin softly, helping Naruto back into their room to place him on the bed. "What happened?"
"I don't know," admitted the jinchurriki. "One moment I'm sleeping and the next I get up to throw up. Maybe I have a bug or something? I have no clue."
"Let's take you to see Sakura, shall we?" Advised Orochimaru, holding out a hand to help him up before going to where Sakura and Hinata room in.
Knocking on the door, there's some shuffling behind it before the door opens to reveal the rosette in a sleeping yukata. Noticing the distressed look on their faces she stepped aside to allow them in. Assessing what had happened she figured a body scan would be in need for Naruto. Nothing else seemed to fit the bill to figure out what's wrong with him. With her glowing hands filled with her emerald green chakra she performed the procedure. What she found did surprise her.
"What's wrong with him?" Asked Orochimaru, trying to hide the worry although it might be leaking through ever so slightly.
"Um," said Sakura, nervous about how to explain this to them.
"Tell me," demanded Orochimaru.
"Be nice," pouted Naruto.
"We'll see," scowled Orochimaru, wanting to know what caused his mate's nausea.
"Ok, ok, I'll tell you. Ugh, no one told me serpents would be so impatient. What I found out is that.......he's pregnant."

Meanwhile, in another area of the Akatsuki base is where Itachi is pacing back and forth. Thinking over what he has talked about with his little brother has him contemplating things further. There are a few variables that do worry him. There's one of people wanting Naruto for their own gain. That's one of the reasons why they have recruited him instead of extracting the beast. Having his brother back does Mellow him out. Hopefully they would be able to rebuild their brotherly bond.
"Hey, if you keep that up you're going to start a fire, hmph," said the blonde artist, having noticed the Uchiha's distress.
Sighing, Itachi stopped to sit down in a chair, "Perhaps you're right for once."
"What's got you so riled up anyways, un?" Questioned Deidara, taking a seat near him.
"A few things," admitted the older Uchiha. "There's what Sasuke and I talked about earlier along with the concerns having a jinchurriki in our ranks brings like having enemies come here sooner than we previously thought."
"When they do we'll take them out with a bang, hmph," smirked Deidara, knowing he's been working on some new masterpieces during his downtime in between missions.
Chuckling lightly, Itachi nodded. The two had somehow formed a makeshift relationship. It could be considered love and hate. The latter being from the blonde with how Itachi had tricked him into joining. The former would be from Itachi towards the blonde with how much he has achieved over the years. Eventually they did even out things between them. It only took a sufficient amount of time to accomplish it.
"Come on, let's go outside?" Asked Deidara hopefully. "It'll help you cool off, hmph."
"Alright. It's raining out there you know," noted Itachi, figuring some fresh air would indeed do him well.
"It's always raining here, un."
A/N: Yays! Done with chappie four! Hehes, hope you all enjoyed the progress in this. It pleases me to have knocked out another chappie for this re-write. I'm already having fun with it.
