Chapter 4: The Angel
'So this is Amegakure’ Sasuke thought to himself. It would be hard to tell at first, but Amegakure was highly industrialised, evident by the many metallic skyscrapers in the Village. Despite that, the heavy rain and dark colours undermined the Village.

Continuing to use his Sharingan, he asked her, “Now why don’t you take me to wherever you buried Nagato so that I can see him?”
“Why would you want that?” She replied looking at him suspiciously. If she wasn’t being affected by the Sharingan, she probably would have reacted much more violently, probably attacked him right then. Instead she waited for his answer, though not without some apprehension.
“I am not planning to take his Rinnegan. I just want to research a bit and look at his eyes myself.” He said as he walked closer to her.
Deciding to question him a little, she asked “Are you still continuing the Akatsuki’s plans?”
Sasuke stopped in front of her. “No, but I should be asking that to you, why do you continue to wear that cloak after leaving?” He asked while touching her shoulder and the collar of her cloak.
Konan didn’t make any move to stop him, “This cloak is the symbol of the Akatsuki founded by Yahiko and Nagato to bring peace to this land, and it does not belong to Madara or Tobi.” She replied.

Konan looked surprised at this, “I am? Why?”
“I am going to restore my clan. You’ll be very helpful with that. Besides it’s as though you have anything left here. I doubt anyone else will ever find this place.” He explained, not really giving her a choice. Of course, Konan was now his and she wouldn’t have refused him anyway, wanting to do whatever she could to please him.
Amegakure was already close to Hi no kuni; it would only take a few days get to Konoha.
