~*~*~*~*Chapter 3~*~*~*~*

“What did you find out?” The deep voice called from seemingly no where, the figure upon the forest floor leaned against a large oak, her eyes closed, the mouth mask covering the smirk upon her lips

“Whats in it for me?” Her eyes cracked open, bright lavender eyes stared at the kunai that had seconds ago buried itself into the trunk of the tree

“You will keep your life” the woman's green hair draped over her face, her body shook with silent laughter before lavender shot towards the tree across from her

“All the information given to the missing nin was false, all were of anbu already dead, or anbu who do not exist, no true information that could lead to the down fall of Konoha was actually given away... Your Kyuubi vessel is not guilty for doing anything more then sleeping with the enemy”

“Sleeping with?”

“The boss has been telling all of us he fucked the Kyuubi vessel, I normally wouldn't believe him except...”

“What?”

“He smelt of the man... It was disgusting” Silence filled the air around the figure and the unseen person she conversed with

“Anything else you need from me silver one?” The green haired woman pulled herself away from the tree she was leaning against, her eyes shot towards the tree across from her again

“No... Thank you Toshi, I hope to hear any news you come across soon” The woman smiled softly before turning on her heels stalking back towards the forest

“Anything for you Kakashi” Kakashi's visible eye watched the woman stalk away, he turned his head slightly before darting off along the tree branches back towards Konoha.

It had been ten years since he first met the green haired woman, who at the time was no older then eight she had been part of a village attack, and had been left behind by the missing nin who attacked the village, the child was as wild as a stray mountain dog, but taming a dog of the wild was an easy task for Kakashi, and in a few weeks the girl had become one of Kakashi's good friends, and till this day he used any information she could gather for him, to help his village find and kill missing nin.

And today's information had helped Kakashi greatly, information that proved Naruto had not given any good information out to missing nin, he had done nothing wrong.

As he stepped into the gates of Konoha, his eye rested upon the figure of Iruka, sitting by the gate upon the dirt road, his knee's pulled to his chest, his chin resting upon his knees

“How sweet of you to wait for me Iruka” Iruka's chocolate brown eyes narrowed before glancing towards the silver haired nin, he pulled himself to his feet slowly, dusting his pants free of the dirt

“I was not waiting for you... I was waiting for any information you gathered” Kakashi's lips pulled into a smirk under his mask, he stepped closer to the brunette, so close their faces almost touched

“I found something that could very well save Naruto's life” Iruka's eyes widened, impressed by the copy-nin's ability to find out anything that would save a 'traitorous' life.

Kakashi felt his face burning, feeling Iruka's arms wrap around his waist, Kakashi's breath hitched in his chest his hands twitched in a need to touch the brunette around him, but he stilled himself, he wouldn't show Iruka his true intentions of helping him

“L-lets go tell the Hokage... So we can free Naruto” Iruka pulled himself away from the silver haired man, a small blush tinting his cheeks and the scar that ran across his nose, he nodded slowly, before he began to follow the silver haired nin

Onyx black eyes stared at the paper work in front of him, his eyes drooped in exhaustion, his mind refused to be anywhere near the paper work that piled up in front of him, the knocking upon his door startled him out of his thoughts of the injured blonde back at his home, his eyes narrowed slightly before he pulled himself into a seated position staring at the door

“Enter” Sasuke's eyes narrowed more upon seeing the brunette step inside his office, followed by the silver haired copy nin

“Kakashi... Iruka... What a pleasant surprise” Sasuke's eye twitched at them, he was in no mood for an argument, he didn't even want to be here today, he wanted to stay at his home, with Naruto and help the blonde get better.

Unfortunately being Hokage meant he had work to do, tons and tons of work, and he was forced to leave the blonde and the pink haired medic nin alone in his house, a thought that displeased him even more.

Kakashi watched the twitch in Sasuke's eye, and shot a look towards Iruka silently begging him to keep his mouth shut, if they were going to do anything to help Naruto, Iruka's rage would not help in the least bit

“Hokage.... We have come across some new evidence to clear Naruto's name” Sasuke's brow rose in curiosity towards the men, his fingers entwined together before he leaned back in his seat, giving the two his full attention

“What evidence?”

“The information given to the missing nin was of already dead anbu, or people who are not even anbu members.... None of the anbu's secrets were given to the missing nin... Naruto never gave away any village secrets.... He never betrayed Konoha” Sasuke stared at the silver haired man, a soft sigh escaped his lips before his head rested against the back of his chair

“That's not enough.... The intent to betray the village was still there”

“How?! He gave no information about any real anbu members!” Iruka's voice cracked out startling both men in the room

“He gave information about dead anbu members... How do we know he knew they were dead?! We don't... Give me something else and I'll personally see to freeing Naruto” Kakashi watched at the corner of his eye as Iruka's body tensed, and shook with rage, he turned on his heels grab the brunette pulling him from the room

“we will find all the evidence you need Hokage, thank you” Sasuke watched the tow leave, his body relaxed slightly, a small smile slipping upon his face, if anyone could free Naruto's name, it was Kakashi

“The hell are you doing?! You thanked him!? You fucking thanked him when he did NOTHING?!” Kakashi watched as Iruka pulled his arm roughly from the silver haired nin's arm

“He did do something... He is giving us more time to free Naruto's name... He has to cover all ends... Everyone in the village wants Naruto dead now... Sasuke is sticking his neck out for him... He is allowing us to continue to investigate... He is helping” Iruka's eyes widened towards Kakashi

“He... Wants to help?”

“He wants Naruto to be safe... Its obvious his feelings for Naruto... Don't tell me you haven't noticed them...” Kakashi watched as the brunette in front of him blushed again, he chuckled softly towards the brunette before stepping down the hall

“Lets go talk to Naruto's children once more ok?” Iruka turned his head looking towards the silver haired man, the blushed upon his face slowly began to fade, he nodded slowly before stepping after the man

“Their not going to talk to anyone.. I tried already”

“Ah but you didn't have me there”

“What your doing should be illegal” Kakashi stopped mid step, and stared back towards Iruka confused by what the other was talking about, a dark smirk spread over Iruka's lips as he stepped past the silver haired nin

“What should be illegal?”

“You stroking your ego in public” Kakashi's visible eye widened, a small smile pulled at his lips under his mask, liking the fact the teacher was starting to open up to him
