Naruto felt odd, this man was too kind, and no one was kind for no reason, everyone always wanted something, the Mizuki man was giving off bad vibes, something that shouted danger to the boy, Naruto shifted when the man inched closer, Naruto stood up shifting
“Look I get your my mom’s friend and all, I’ll tell him you said hi, but I should be getting back, I’m sorry for causing any trouble” Naruto walked to the door opening it slowly
“Your right, I got a class to teach anyways, and since your already wet, you can sit this one out with Gaara, he can’t swim worth shit, just keep him company if you would” Naruto sighed, he hated baby-sitting, but if it meant keeping out of the fucking water he’d do it with a smile, Naruto walked out towards the bench and sat down crossing his arms, beside him the red head from before was wrapped in a towel shivering every few seconds, he was either in shock or very cold, or both, Naruto looked at the boy and shifted
“Hey, I’m Naruto” the boy looked up slowly, his green eyes cold and emotionless
“G-Gaara” He said in a soft almost whisper of a tone
“Thank you... for saving me” Naruto smiled shaking his head
“No problem, I hate the water too, and if some dicks threw me in like that, I’d want someone to help me too” Naruto blinked when Gaara blushed and looked away, the kid was cute Naruto would admit that, he was quite too, didn’t say much, and didn’t try to force himself close to the blonde, Naruto liked this kid
“Y-You didn’t get in t-too much trouble did you?” Naruto blinked almost missing what the red head was asking, he shook his head smiling
“Nah, the teacher is a friend of my mom’s… I think…. He let me off the hook” Naruto watched as the boy’s in the pool began their laps, he leaned his head against the wall closing his eyes
“T-that’s good…”
“Hey.. Gaara was it? Want to hang out after school? I’m kinda new here and don’t got many friends, I am going to a friend of the family’s after school today, maybe after we can play some games at my place?” Naruto glanced at the boy as Gaara tensed but nodded slowly, the boy seemed like he got picked on easily
“Ok… Sure” Naruto smiled softly, he closed his eyes letting his mind slip away from him until the end of class, time to get dressed and go home
“so go get changed Gaara, I’ll meet you in the parking lot ok?” Gaara stood up slowly nodding as he walked to the change room and scurried off, Naruto stood up stretching and began to walk to the change room, but a hand on his shoulder stopped him, he frowned looking back into his teachers eyes
“Naruto, I’d still like a word real quick?” Naruto shifted looking at the man then sighed a bit rubbing his eyes; he really got a bad vibe from this man
“I actually got to get home; my mom is waiting, rain check?” Naruto began to walk off
“Don’t you wonder why you look nothing like Kakashi Hatake?” Naruto stopped his eyes going wide, this man knew something?, something about Naruto that the blonde didn’t know. Seeing Naruto stop Mizuki smirked then walked over pressing his ear to the blondes
“Me and your mother were a couple, fifteen years ago… He dumped me and began spreading lies about me, saying I did unspeakable things to him… It was so bad I had to leave town… When I did, I found out Iruka had a son, my son” Naruto shook his eyes still wide as he listened to the man, Naruto looked back at the man his eyes wide with shock, no it had to be a lie, Iruka would have said something, told Naruto Kakashi wasn’t his dad! He wouldn’t have lied to Naruto all his god damn life!
“Naruto, I know it’s hard to even think this might be true, if you want, we can go get a DNA test sometime?” Naruto shook, the man was THIS sure? Naruto nodded his head slowly
“I….”
“You should go home Naruto… My son, I will find you tomorrow and excuse you from classes, I promise Naruto, I will make this all right” Naruto shuddered picking up his things and running towards the change rooms, this was crazy, idiotic! His mother would NEVER lie to him! His mother loved him! Naruto got dressed and grabbed his things walking out of the change room, he jumped a little seeing the smaller red head watching him, Naruto shook his head trying to clear his thoughts, he’d skip going home, he’d go to Itachi’s, and then stay there all day with his new friend
“Change of plans, parents are not going to be home all day, and I forgot my key! We’re just gonna chill at my friends place ok?”
“We.. Could also go to my place?” Naruto blinked then smiled nodding
“Alright! Then next time we can go to my place! Let’s just head to your place now ok?” Gaara nodded slowly, something was upsetting the blonde, and it seemed like he didn’t want to go home, Gaara didn’t trust himself, but he’d help the blonde out, after all, the boy did save his life, the two walked outside to the parking lot, Naruto took the alarm off his car and frowned getting in the driver side, waiting until the smaller boy got in the passenger seat, before he revved the engine and drove off down the road
“Where too?” Naruto asked softly keeping his eyes on the road, not once looking up, he was so upset, he didn’t trust himself to drive, but he just needed to drive, and cool down
“Oh… Um... Turn left up here… My place... isn’t that hard to find” Naruto blinked watching the red head before turning left, he blinked his eyes going wide, the place was huge, maybe bigger than Kakashi’s place, Yes, until Naruto knew for sure, Kakashi was not going to get the title father, for a while, Naruto watched as the red head waved to the armed guard, Naruto drove up to the mansion and parked the car getting out
“It’s huge… Your parents must be rich?”
“I do not have parents… Mother died in child birth, father died three years ago” Naruto frowned watching the red head as he got out of the car slowly, his head low not making eye contact with the blonde
“Then… Who do you live with?”
“No one… just me... And Shukaku”
