Chapter 4

Kiba paced back and forth outside the Hogake’s palace waiting for what the final judgment call would be. Kiba wasn’t allowed in on the meeting since it was just a matter between the Hogake the Hyuugas and Guy Sensei. Though once the meeting was through he would find out whether or not Neji would still be a captive to his uncle or be free to come live with him and his sister.

Akamaru wined on Kiba’s head, “Ah what are you saying things aren’t going so good?” Kiba wondered trying to look and see Akamaru on his head by pushing his eye balls up toward his forehead some. “Well come on Akamaru we have to look on the bright side of things right?” He wondered with his hands in his pockets but Akamaru just gave a sad whimper and put his chin down on Kiba’s head. “This isn’t fair Akamaru how could the Hogake decide to allow the Hyuuga clan to be so cruel its just not fair. Then again I suppose the same would be said for my own clan matters.” Kiba felt so annoyed the burning in his chest really made him want to do something but he just couldn’t figure out what to do.

There was nothing he could but wait he went on pacing in front of the palace. Waiting what felt like an eternity. Just as Kiba was about to turn around once again from the worn spot he made in the lawn in the court yard he almost ran right into Guy Sensei who appeared before him. Kiba took a few steps back and looked up at him Kiba could tell right away things weren’t looking so good. “Kiba I am sorry to inform you that Neji will have to stay with the Hyuuga clan at least until he is eighteen. “

Kiba gave a growling, “but its not fair they are doing criminal acts upon him and he is only a kid! Shouldn’t they take him away from an abusive situation like that!?” Kiba wondered then again his sister smacked him around a lot no one said anything. She didn’t try and fuck him or make him fuck others for money there had to be a line drawn somewhere.

Guy sighed, and put his hands on Kiba’s shoulder’s trying clam him down “listen Kiba I don’t like it anymore then you do but the Hogake fallows the rules you know and we can’t go against what he says.”

“Well the Hogake must be a perverted old man!” Kiba growled “Who likes to have little boys get fucked in the ass then!” Kiba raged up at Guy Sensei and Akamaru was barking and yapping feeling his master’s rage. Kiba smacked Guy’s hands off of his shoulder’s. “Don’t touch me,” Kiba growled “I want to talk with the Hogake now!” Kiba growled and started to march toward the steps two guards jumped down in front of him.

“You can’t just barge up there and bother the Hogake,” one of the masked ninja says pushing Kiba back.

Kiba’s face was really read now even more so then the red markings on his cheeks he growled low in his throat. “Kiba once the Hokage has spoken there is really nothing you can do to change his mind you know sadly I tried.” Guy tried to reason with Kiba.

Neji was walking down the steps alone Mr. Hyuuga wouldn’t be seen walking with his lower branch so he stayed to have tea with the Hogake. Neji stepped down with a very unreadable look on his face.

Kiba rushed over to him and Neji put a hand up so that the dog boy wouldn’t hug him in public he knew he shouldn’t do that. “Oh Neji,” Kiba growled “it isn’t fair!”

“Well life is never fair clearly this is my destiny,” Neji said to Kiba “anyways I am to report straight home to my hut and await my uncle.” Neji headed for the gates of the palace. Guy watching his student go he seemed to hold such a heavy weight on his chest. Guy Sensei was not happy with the Hogake’s judgment and he vanished from his spot in the court yard to try and talk some reason into the old badger.

Once Neji and Kiba were walking down a street alone Kiba took hold of Neji’s hand and walked with him back toward the Hyuuga clans section of the village. Kiba felt like he was walking with someone who was condemned to die.

They walked together in silences for along while Neji was never one for conversation and Kiba was at a loss for words at the moment. Kiba didn’t want to let Neji go back in there where he knew Neji would only get hurt.

“How can I as your mate allow you to go in there knowing what will happen!?” Kiba demanded of Neji and pulled him into his body “I can’t and I just won’t.” He said as he pulled Neji into him as they came near the secret door Neji had to use.

“We won’t let that happen either,” came a smooth voice that sounded pretty muffled as if they were talking behind something. Neji and Kiba turn around to see Guy Sensei and Kakashi Sensei standing there with their arms crossed it was rare to see these too in league together.
