“Yes, Queen Reine.” The four ninjas said and immediately left …

Orochimaru nodded when he saw Kimimaro arrive safely back at the compound, “Be ready. We leave in a few weeks. No training until Sasuke is caught.” He ordered not wanting his back up body to be damaged in case Sasuke wasn’t available.
“Yes, master.” Kimimaro’s clone said feeling very relieved that the snake sage was too distracted to notice that he was a clone. Now he just had to survive until the trip to Konoha.
“Kabuto, have you heard anything about Konoha recently?” Orochimaru demanded, eager to have what he wanted.
Kabuto chuckled, “Besides a failed curry festival not much.”

Tsunade nodded as she shifted through the reports in front of Yumi and Yobaba, “As far as I can tell there were no leaks. At least, nothing important..”
Yobaba scoffed, “Of course, we had eyes on the perimeter and Jiraiya made sure as well. Only the curry festival tidbits got out. Did the council accept the story?”
“For once they all seemed to be on the same page.” Tsunade commented with an eye roll. “As far as they know Naruko is with Kakashi to hide from the remaining Akatsuki members who everyone else believes got away. Whether they liked Naruko or hated her they agreed that it’s best to not have her near the village and stay in hiding.” Tsunade said with a smirk knowing that Naruko hasn’t even left yet.
“Excellent! We’ll assist with the payments for repairs though I suspect you’ll have better luck with funding than Hiruzen.” Yumi said innocently.
“In fact, the daimyo does find me more likable and she has increased our budget.” Tsunade commented feeling pleased and a little sadistic that everything is going much smoother than when her former sensei was in control. “Itachi agreed to stay, by the way. Of course, the council allowed it.” She muttered knowing they just wanted to cling to the Sharingan at all costs.
Yumi hummed thoughtfully, “In the end he was the most loyal ninja this village had and with Danzo gone there’s less to worry about.”
“Almost.” Tsunade muttered. “There is one person still out there and obsessed with the Sharingan and considering no one outside the village knows yet Orochimaru might try something.”
“Perhaps, but if he does come near he’ll learn about it. Even if he’s furious and wants to attack just to spite everyone for destroying his desired bloodline he will want a new body first. Hopefully.” Yumi theorized as she signed over some money to the hokage.
Tsunade nodded, “I’ll keep that in mind for when the bulk of the damage is fixed. Let’s see what happens when I release the tourists and all the details get out.” She commented, sounding a bit concerned about doing what she said. However, the elders of Cave and a grin from Barb assured her that Orochimaru won’t be a problem.
As Tsunade pondered what would happen, the two elders from Cave left the office with Barb. They weren’t worried about the snake sage. There was a plan in place for him …

Kimimaro bolted upright in the hotel bed effectively waking the three trained ninjas he roomed with, “Orochimaru is coming towards Konoha with an army of 50.”
“I’ll send the message.” Jade said while jumping out of bed to write a couple notes.
One message was to Tsunade to tell her to allow tourists to leave. After all, not many people were allowed to leave. It’s normal to do that so enemies won’t learn of a vulnerable moment and attack now the information needed to get out.
Another message was sent to their middle man team. It was to tell them they were on the way to meet them. Any information Kimimaro could give them about who was with Orochimaru was also included. Once the messages were sent they went back to sleep. Even the spiders went back into the tissue box to snooze since it wasn’t really an emergency.
In the morning they got dressed, the spiders took their spots on Naruko’s head and everything was packed. Everything was left in the room except the wheelchair and a certain scroll. Despite Kimimaro being well enough to walk he still stayed in the wheelchair. It made it easier to hide the scroll he was constantly pushing his chakra into and carry the medication in the oxygen tank.
“Don’t get me wrong. These guys know how to treat a guest in this situation, but I will be happy to get home.” Sana said as they sat down for the hotel buffet.
A server getting coffee smiled understandingly, “Thank you for being understanding. This is for the safety of the village. However, the repairs to the gates are nearly done so I’m sure you won’t be kept for much longer.”
“That’s good to hear. Thank you.” Jade said gratefully as the server handed them some hot cups of coffee.
Sana grabbed some pancakes, “Still would’ve been nice if there was a hot spring that wasn’t closed.” She mumbled around a piece of pancake, but couldn’t resist smirking as a commotion was heard outside.
Right when they were about to finish a filling breakfast the server came back to their table. She coincidentally informed them that they were free to leave the village now. While pretending to be surprised the Cave ninjas said their thanks and returned to their room. Everything was gathered and they soon left the village entirely.
Once they were far enough away Jade stopped, “Are you strong enough to travel through the trees?” She asked Kimimaro, who was already getting out of his wheelchair.
“I’ll be alright. Carrying the tank and scroll will be easier now.” Kimimaro commented as he put on a ninja vest and used it to hold his tank of medicated air.
After sealing away the wheelchair Naruko smiled, “This’ll help.” Naruko said as she unsealed a long jacket.
For Kimimaro it was useful when it came to holding his scroll. However, he wasn’t the only person to change outfits. Jade, Sana and Naruko each changed into plain ninja outfits. Those new outfits were completed with solid black masks.
“Ready?” Jade asked and without a verbal response the group rushed through the treetops. It took a few hours, but they did meet up with Kakashi’s group.
Kakashi hugged Naruko happily, “I missed you!” He exclaimed having no trouble identifying the blue eyed blonde despite the mask and dyed hair.
Naruko chuckled as her three cheerful spiders danced, showing that they were happy too, “I missed you too!” She said before also being hugged by Haru too. “Both of you!” She laughed.
“Hey!” Sana yelped and her two teammates chuckled before immediately pulling her into a hug. “That’s better.”
Jade looked away from the cute scene when she noticed Tula coming towards them with Mary, “Everything set up?” She asked as Sana ran over and hugged her mother.
“Mary’s team is setting up a secure campsite. Once the scroll is placed in the clone’s path we will head there.” Tula explained looked at Kimimaro.
This time Kimimaro led the group to a spot where his clone would pass by. Everyone guarded the bone user as he carefully looked around. After a tree branch was chosen, Naruko put a seal on it. With the scroll hidden inside the seal Mary took everyone to the secured campsite.
Clara clacked her mandibles, “I think I should watch the tree with the scroll. It would be best to make sure it goes well.”
After a little smile from Naruko the other two spiders bounced eagerly, “We’ll help too!” Nina and Tina chirped.
“I agree.” Mary said and smiled. “You guys can tell us once the entire group of Orochimaru’s ninjas have passed. They should pass right over us.”
“Ok!” The three spiders exclaimed before hopping away.
Once the spiders were gone Kakashi glanced at Kimimaro, “How far away are they?” Kakashi asked as they settled in a well hidden campsite.
Everything blended so seamlessly with the forest around them that no one would know. The tents actually had branches and leaves so they greatly resemble bushes or the forest floor. To keep up the illusion there was no fire pit. After all, they couldn’t risk betraying anything with the light or smoke from a fire.
Kimimaro stayed silent for a moment to mentally connect with his clone, “Approximately one hour before my clone gets to the scroll. Orochimaru sent Kabuto ahead as a scout and considering who it is I expect him to get to the village and return to the snake sage in an hour and a half.”
“Ah yes. We already had a bird spot Kabuto as we were setting up the campsite. He completely missed us as we went by. This is good though. Barb should be done and in line before Orochimaru learns of Sasuke’s death.” One of Mary’s teammates commented as she handed out food pellets.
Sana raised an eyebrow, “Barb-sensei is coming?” She asked curiously only to pout when Tula ruffled her hair.
Haru snickered at her friend’s mildly embarrassing predicament, “The elders’ excuse for staying in the village was because Kakashi supposedly convinced them to do so. Without Kakashi there’s no reason for them to stay in the village. At least, that’s what the council believes. Barb-sensei is planning to come here … not sure about the elders though.”
“They’re planning to secure the area.” Mary said solemnly, as she sent the youngest ones there a look.
Jade definitely understood what that meant, “None of Orochimaru’s people will get out.” She said simply and everyone slowly realized exactly what that meant.
Kimimaro frowned, “How can I help?” He asked not caring about the snake sage he spied on.
“Just help us get the timing right.” Mary said seriously, noticing Naruko lean closer to Kimimaro and take his hand.
“I will.” Kimimaro said calmly. After some time of random chatting he tensed. “They’re getting close to the scroll.”
Jade nodded, “Tents.”
In an instant everyone hid in the tents. Naruko felt her heart pounding in anticipation. It was only the gentle fingers of Kimimaro’s hand lacing with hers that kept her calm. Even as they all heard the ninja army traveling right above their heads she focused on the warmth of the person next to her.
No one moved until a few moments of silence. The more experienced team led by Mary quickly left after that. Once the three spiders dropped down to the center of the campsite everyone else came out of the tents.
“My clone has the scroll.” Kimimaro said as the three spiders jumped back onto Naruko’s shoulders.

Kabuto’s jaw dropped when he slipped closer to a construction site. It looked like they were finishing up repairs to the gate. They were helping some tourists leave and chatting with them. That gossip he overheard is what shocked him. As fast as he could he ran back to Orochimaru.
“Sasuke is dead.” Kabuto said once he found the snake sage.
Unsurprisingly the entire army of ninjas stopped in their tracks. Most of them were waiting fearfully to see how Orochimaru would react. The only thing everyone knew for sure is that the snake sage wouldn’t kill Kabuto and Kimimaro. However, anyone else was the possible target for a tantrum.
Orochimaru scowled, “What else?” He demanded. A twisted smirk came to his face as Kabuto reported everything he heard. “They’ll be weak right now … I’ll make them suffer for losing my Sharingan and I’ll do it in my new body. Create a barrier!”
You could almost feel the relief from all those who went to form a large rectangle around Orochimaru and Kimimaro. They were so happy that the snake sage decided to lash out at Konoha and not them. Of course, that didn’t mean they were completely safe, which is why they quickly followed orders and created a protective chakra barrier.
“Kneel.” Orochimaru ordered.
Kimimaro’s clone nodded, “Yes, master.” He said and obediently kneeled.
The clone very subtly reached into his robes as Orochimaru’s snake-like head extended towards him. Obviously, the jutsu wouldn’t work on a clone. It would be dispelled immediately, but the clone was going to help it work. A split second before the jutsu hit the clone, the clone opened the scroll and switched places with the festering semi-alive body that waited inside. As expected the clone was destroyed, but there was now a golden eyed Kimimaro laying there on the ground.
While the barrier was adjusted just enough to let him in, Kabuto went inside to check on Orochimaru, “Can you stand?” He asked, but then his eyes narrowed on the storage scroll that was lying next to the snake sage’s new body. “What is-“ Kabuto gasped in horror as the now white haired Orochimaru turned over and coughed up a lot of blood.
Those holding the barrier in place watch stayed in place as Kabuto tried to help the snake sage. As long as they kept the barrier up no one could get in or out and they’d be safe. At least, that’s what they thought. However, the ninjas next to them started mutating and everything descended into chaos.
Fear made everyone panic. They all quickly tried killing the mutated zombie monsters, especially Kabuto. Everyone was so distracted that they never saw a new barrier closing around all of them.

Naruko saw the second barrier go up and everyone was allowed to get a bit closer, “A mass hallucination. Gas.” Naruko concluded quickly the second she saw the members of Orochimaru’s army killing each other.
“Yep.” Tula said casually. “It was released once Kimimaro’s clone released the body. The body Orochimaru took over was festering a chakra eating poison that produces the gas once it’s mature.”
Kimimaro looked at the gory sight on the other side of the barrier, “So that’s why I was asked to feed it chakra.”
Tula shrugged, “Yep. No trace of a third party will be left behind. Another team will remove everything from Orochimaru’s labs after this is done.”
“Now let’s leave this mess to the experts.” Kakashi said not sure if Naruko should see or hear this.
Kakashi was relieved to see that she seemed reasonably calm despite being a little surprised. She clearly understood and accepted what was going on, which showed how much she has grown. Still they returned to the campsite.
Hours passed and the screams slowly ended. Once they saw the barrier drop they knew everything was done. After Mary’s team rejoined them they left for Firefly village. It was mainly so those who couldn’t get into the village of Cave could settle in while the Cave ninjas went to report …
They truly did settle in …

Years later …
Three little kids pouted at the three spiders that were guarding the door, “Aunty Clara!”
“I know you want to play with mommy and daddy, but they did just get back from a mission. Give them a little time to rest.” Clara chided sweetly trying to soothe the children.
Kakashi chuckled as he subtly double checked that the silencing seal on the bedroom door was high enough and that the door was locked, “They’re right. Come on. Let’s get those gifts you made ready. We will have a party soon.” He said and laughed as the kids cheered scurrying off to get some colorful packages.
After an hour Tina squeaked excitedly and crawled down under the door, “Look! Grandma Jade and Uncle Jiraiya are here!” She announced to the naked couple cuddling in the bed.
The flushed blue eyed blonde moaned softly as the white haired man kissed her pussy, “I suppose … ahhh we should get up, Kimimaro.” Naruko moaned softly as she shifted her gaze down to see that she was straddling Kimimaro’s head. A few more deep licks made her body shake with pleasure as she came.
Kimimaro licked her lower lips once more before she moved off him, “A shame.” Kimimaro said with an amused smile as he stared up into the beautiful blue eyes. They kissed each other before finally getting dressed to cuddle their kids …
